I paid $1410 to AAA North Penn Travel on January 18 for a 3 day stay at *** resort in Jamaica
I paid $1410 to AAA North Penn Travel on January 18 for a 3 day stay at *** resort in Jamaica. The reservation was supposed to be from April 22-24, 2020. But guess what? The resort is closing from March 30 to June 1, so they can't give me what I paid for. And you know what's even worse? They won't give me my money back. Can you believe that?
I got AAA North Penn for my fifth wheel (RV)
I got AAA North Penn for my fifth wheel (RV). I asked if it covered fifth wheels before getting the service, and they said it does. They said it covers 4 tows up to 100 miles each. When I had an emergency, I called road service, but they refused to help and hung up on me. I spent 3 hours on the phone explaining to them that even their brochure says it covers fifth wheels, but they refused to listen. The Stroudsburg office even pleaded with them. I will also file complaints with the Federal Trade Commission for fraud and consumer affairs.
Me and my wife, we've been AAA Premier members since 2014
Me and my wife, we've been AAA Premier members since 2014. At the start of the year, they sent me an offer to add another family member to my plan for free until my membership year ends. So, I got my new membership cards recently, but they didn't include the extra member. I called them up to add my son to the plan, but the person on the phone put me on hold to talk to membership services. Turns out, they said I gotta wait another year to add my son. She said she'd look into it more and let me know about adding my son or canceling my contract. But, I haven't heard anything back from them. So, I called again today and they pretty much told me the same thing. All I want is for them to keep their word and give me the promotion they promised.

I bought AAA membership with battery coverage for a few years now
I bought AAA membership with battery coverage for a few years now. In 2018, the battery on my car died. AAA only offers their own batteries, which are not good quality. Their batteries don't work in my car model. So, they told me to buy my own battery and they would reimburse me. I sent the request and the battery receipt within a week of buying it. When I followed up, they always had an excuse. They needed to review things, talk to supervisors, and so on. Every time I called for roadside assistance, I mentioned this issue, but even after two years, nothing happened. My policy was set to renew on August 1 this year, but I called and demanded my reimbursement first. Now they're saying it's been more than 60 days, so I'm not eligible. This is nonsense because AAA's excuses delayed the process. We gave them the receipt, they confirmed they had it, but they had to talk to supervisors and different departments. Every time I called, I got the runaround. I want my money. It's not my fault that this company provides bad products that don't work in all cars. I paid for the coverage, so they should honor it. I want my reimbursement and something for all the wasted time.
I got help from AAA on 4/2/2022 for my car trouble
I got help from AAA on 4/2/2022 for my car trouble. A AAA person told me that my membership qualified me for a free rental. On 4/5/2022, I called AAA to set up my free car rental and a person from the North Penn place connected me with the *** person *** to confirm when I could pick up and drop off the rental. We agreed that I would pick up the car at Scranton airport and drop it off at Laguardia airport, NY. They gave me a confirmation number (***) and said I would only have to pay $16.27 for tax fees. *** Kurtz from AAA tried to help me fix this problem with ***, but *** just gave us the runaround. I asked *** if they could find the recording from their department, but she said it was deleted. I also asked if AAA could give me back the $202 while they work on fixing the problem with ***. She said she couldn't give me a check and gave me the number for AAA customer relations. Instead of fixing the problem, they passed me along again and told me to fix it myself. I'm a loyal customer with a paid membership, and I'm not happy with how AAA has handled this situation so far. Can you please help me?
On June 26, I paid for a one-year roadside service contract that included 100 miles for towing
On June 26, I paid for a one-year roadside service contract that included 100 miles for towing. I had a vehicle with some issues that I had just bought, and I knew I might need to tow it if it wasn't safe to drive. I received an email offer for $89.99, which gave me 100 miles of free towing. I planned to tow my vehicle the next day, but the woman who handles tow truck dispatch said my new membership wouldn't take effect for 7 days. This didn't make sense to me because my bank account was immediately affected by the payment. Unfortunately, things didn't work out with that truck, and I ended up not using the membership. In the beginning of July, we got another vehicle that needed to be towed last week on April 30. Finally, I wanted to use my AAA membership. When I called to have it towed, they told me that I only had basic membership, not Plus Membership. I insisted that I had paid for the 100 miles, but they said there was nothing they could do and that the membership team was closed for the day. Yesterday, I finally called membership services and the representative found my account. She confirmed that I did have PLUS membership, but she also said that it had expired on April 1. This didn't make sense to me because I purchased the membership on June 26. She agreed with me and transferred me to another club. I didn't understand what that meant, but the people at the new club explained that there are different clubs based on your address. They insisted that I only had basic membership. I explained that I paid on June 26, and the membership should expire on June 25. They disagreed and said that I didn't pay THEM, I paid someone else. But I STILL PAID. Now I'm in a difficult situation because I shouldn't have had to pay for towing last week, and now I need my car towed again. They are insisting that a year membership is not really a year.
