Carcovers.com I bought a Car Cover from Carcovers.com on 09/1

I bought a Car Cover from Carcovers.com on 09/1. It's the Ultimate Shield one with a 10-year warranty. I sent them some pictures showing that the seam near the outside mirror is coming apart, but they haven't done anything about it yet. They say the cover is made by another company and I should talk to them instead. I think Car Covers is just trying to delay until the warranty is over.

This company says they give a 100% Lifetime warranty for their good camper covers, but they only replace it ONE time...even if it fails under normal use. I think this is consumer fraud. They probably added fine print to protect themselves by now, but when I bought mine 1 and 1/2 years ago, they didn't have any fine print saying it would only be replaced once. I feel like I've been totally scammed by this company and would tell others to stay away from this business. Otherwise, BE CAREFUL WHEN BUYING!

Carcovers.com is a place you should avoid buying from. They promise big discounts and extra savings, but what they actually send you is a cheap and thin cover. I know this because I had previously purchased their best cover, which was thick and had five layers (5L 5 layer thick car cover). They try to make it up to you by offering a partial refund, but it can take up to 30 days to receive it, if you even get it at all. Alternatively, they might ask you to ship back the wrong item, which means you have to spend more money on shipping. And when you try to talk to them on the phone, they just hang up on you. They treat you poorly and cheat you after sending you the incorrect item. They also make you leave a review right after you make the purchase online, long before you even receive their products. So, my advice is to not purchase anything from them. They also try to shift the blame for defects onto some other manufacturer, giving you the runaround until you give up and lose your money. When you're buying from them, they'll deal with you on the phone, but if there's an issue, they'll only communicate through emails and hang up on you.

Date of Transaction: April 2022. Amount paid to the business: $449.19. Nature of the dispute: The product's run time is limited. I've tried to call and email, but no response. The one time I called, they took a message with a live agent on [protected]. She said her supervisor would call me back, but the supervisor never did. I really want to return this product for a full refund. The customer service has been terrible, and I don't need a product with limited run time. If possible, please contact me at ***. Sorry, I'm better with my phone than email.

Carcovers.com I bought a car cover from Carcovers.com on November 18, 2022 for a Christmas present

I bought a car cover from Carcovers.com on November 18, 2022 for a Christmas present. Oops, I accidentally ordered the wrong cover for a model they don't even make in that year. I contacted customer service and they told me how to send it back. I paid for the shipping and sent it back on 1/16/2023. They're saying they can't find my order, so I sent them ALL the original order info. They said sorry and promised to send my straps on 2/1/2023. But guess what? I still haven't gotten the straps. They asked me to send the return tracking info (which I did) and they got my returned product on 1/18/2023. I haven't heard anything else from the company and I still haven't received my straps or the car cover I paid a lot of money for, plus the cost of return shipping.

Carcovers.com I bought a cover for my car, a **** Chevrolet Camaro, from Carcovers.com

I bought a cover for my car, a *** Chevrolet Camaro, from Carcovers.com. But now I'm bummed because the cover tore in the strong winds and I need a replacement. Here's the thing though, when I checked the cover tag, it said "Cover King." So I reached out to Carcovers.com, expecting them to help me out, but they told me to contact Cover King for a replacement. I only bought the cover from Carcovers.com, so now I'm suspicious. But my receipt clearly shows that I bought it from them, even though it has the *** on it. I have the invoice from Carcovers.com. I'm really upset and feel like I got scammed. It was already a pain to get a response from them over a month ago. I sent them emails with my receipt and lots of pictures showing the damage to the cover. And now, to make matters worse, the cover for the *** is also damaged. I just want a replacement cover, but it seems like they're doing everything they can to avoid dealing with their own product!

Carcovers.com I ordered a SUV outside cover ES-U1 for my Montero

I ordered a SUV outside cover ES-U1 for my Montero. It had a 5-year warranty and cost $169.95. The seller gave me a $10 discount and free shipping. I didn't use the cover much in the first and second year, but recently I've been using it a lot. Last Saturday, July 16, 2022, it tore at the top. I took pictures and sent them to CarCover.com. They responded saying that the cover was purchased from their website. So, I contacted CarCovers.con and asked about the warranty coverage and for a new cover. To my surprise, they said that if the cover wears out and breaks, it's not covered. When I read their advertisement, it said they provide customers with the vehicle protection they deserve and guarantee a superior fitting cover. They claim to defend against sun damage, weather damage, physical damage, and natural damage. But now they won't cover my broken cover, even though it had a 5-year warranty. I need help resolving this situation. I have two more covers with 10-year warranties, and I don't want to think they won't be covered either.

Carcovers.com On 6/17/22, I bought a car cover from carcovers.com with order ***

On 6/17/22, I bought a car cover from carcovers.com with order ***. When I got the package, it was a bit damaged, but the car cover itself was fine. However, I wasn't happy with the quality and fitment. I sent them emails on 6/24, 6/25, and 6/28 to ask for a refund since their policy allows it within 30 days. They tried to convince me to keep the product with a 10% discount, but I said no. After that, they stopped replying to my emails. I tried calling on 6/28, but no one answered. Finally, on 6/29, I managed to get through and they gave me an RMA. I had to pay $50 out of my own pocket to ship the package back, and they said I would receive a refund 14 days after they received it. The delivery was confirmed on 7/7 (1Z8FBT010320010010), but I waited for 14 days and still didn't get a refund. I wasted more time making calls, either being put on hold or no one answering. Eventually, someone told me that they lost my package in the warehouse and promised to call me back later that day. However, I never received a call back. I called again, but no one answered. On 7/27, I decided to dispute the charge with my credit card, and luckily, I won the dispute. However, on 9/13, car covers disputed my dispute and claimed they couldn't refund me because of the dispute. My dispute was reversed. On 9/28, I contacted my credit card company again and explained the situation, mentioning that others online were also having trouble getting refunds. I called carcovers.com on the same day, and they said their dispute department wasn't answering. They refused to give me their direct line and promised to call me back, but I haven't received any call back yet.
