This organization is so unprofessional, it's unbelievable
This organization is so unprofessional, it's unbelievable. They towed my car from the apartment complex where I was allowed to use the business center. When I tried to explain what happened, the guy on the phone was no help at all. They charged me a whopping 145.00 bucks just to tow my car a measly mile away, and they seemed to be enjoying it. The guy even had the audacity to claim he knew who I was and threatened to sue me if I dared to dispute the charge. Kentucky really needs to investigate these guys.
I rented a U-Haul on 1/28
I rented a U-Haul on 1/28. I used it for like 5 hours or something. They charged me $154 for a "hold" at first. Then they took off the hold and charged me $79.16. Alright, that seems fine. But today, they charged my card another $26. What for?! When I called to ask, I was kinda frustrated, you know? And they called me a crazy lady! So unprofessional! I'm not crazy. I just wanted to know why they charged me more than what they said. I did everything right. I filled it up with gas, didn't drive more than 30 miles, got proof and took pics of the truck. I want my money back. Simple as that.

They took my truck from my apartment complex without permission
They took my truck from my apartment complex without permission. No contract with the apartment company. This towing company doesn't communicate well with its employees, and they'll tow your vehicle even if they were told not to.
On 8/16, I got towed from my apartment complex, THE WYATT
On 8/16, I got towed from my apartment complex, THE WYATT. I had a fancy parking sticker in my truck window. I walked out that morning to go to class and found out I got towed. I called METRO TOWING and they talked to me really bad, not professional at all. Instead of saying sorry or admitting they were wrong, they kept blaming me for the wrongful tow. I had to walk to METRO TOWING after missing class. They never compensated me for my time or said sorry. I think this business should be responsible for their mistakes and change how they do things.
I went to see my daughter at *** Apartment complex on February 10th
I went to see my daughter at *** Apartment complex on February 10th. The parking lot was dark but I parked where I saw a Visitor Parking sign on the back fence and put the Visitor Parking Pass on the mirror. When we came out the next morning, my minivan was gone. I couldn't believe it. When I called Metro Towing they said they towed my van because I wasn't "inside the yellow lines marking visitor parking." When I looked for these lines, they looked faded and I wasn't surprised that I didn't see them at night in the dark parking lot. They charged me $160 even though my Visitor Parking Pass was clearly displayed. I asked if the apartment complex had called to report the incident and they admitted that their tow trucks regularly patrol the parking lot.
The people who work for this company, like Driver 44S and the Impound Manager, do sneaky, unfair, and unprofessional towing
The people who work for this company, like Driver 44S and the Impound Manager, do sneaky, unfair, and unprofessional towing. They don't have consistent rules for towing and they treat their customers and the people in the area they patrol poorly. On June 25th, we parked our cars in the apartment complex at night, but the parking lines were faded and hard to see. The tow truck driver, 44S, saw us taking things out of my car, but instead of helping, he drove past a car that was clearly double parked and almost blocked me in with his tow truck. He towed my son's car even though it was legally parked there! The driver told us different prices to pay. He left with the car and we were really mad. About an hour later, he came back to where we were, but he ignored the same double parked car. In person, the Impound Manager, ***, tried to explain the double parking, but what he said didn't match the apartment complex's parking rules. He supported the double parked car. When I called him, he refused to email me a picture of my son's car being towed, which I asked for. He told me to talk to the apartment manager and hung up on me, saying "This is getting out of hand!"
The towing company towed my vehicle today, saying that I was double parked
The towing company towed my vehicle today, saying that I was double parked. It wasn't my fault because it was dark and the lines were hard to see. It's difficult to park when your neighbor's friends park recklessly in the parking lot, so I had to park the way I could. That's why I was double parked. I'm not going outside at 3 am to move my vehicle after they leave. It's unacceptable. They told me that my complex contract states that it's mandatory for them to tow if it's double parked, but my landlord says that's not true. My car shouldn't have been towed. I told my landlord, and she said to take it up with her. So she called them, and they lied to her, saying they never said anything like that to me when they did. They completely lied to her. I heard everything they said to her. They were horribly rude to me when I called them. They told me my only option was to pay $160 to get my car back, even after my landlord told them they shouldn't have towed my car. I'm a single mother and had a job interview this morning, which I had to miss due to this. Now I'm stuck without my car, no money, no job, and no way to even get my car when I had no choice but to park like that due to my neighbors' drug buddies forcing me to park that way when they weren't even supposed to be parked in our spots. It's too dangerous to go out that late to move my car, and I refuse to do so.
