I bought a *** Altima 2016 from Haus of Imports, Inc
I bought a *** Altima 2016 from Haus of Imports, Inc. The sales process went smoothly and the staff was polite. However, I later discovered that the key provided with the car was not cut. I contacted the dealership staff and manager, but they refused to provide a cut key. They said the Key fob would be enough and it was not their responsibility to provide a cut key. They suggested that I get it cut at my own expense. It seems reasonable to expect at least one cut key when purchasing a car. If the car battery dies in the winter, we could end up stranded outside.
Date of Purchase: 8/16
Date of Purchase: 8/16. On 8/19, the vehicles wouldn't start. The cost to get the car running again was $1941.29. I sent the invoice to Haus of Imports. Shouldn't a car bought from Haus of Imports start for at least 3 days? Mine didn't. Is it okay to leave the buyer stranded at 10:00 p.m. because the car won't start anymore? On the day of purchase, while driving back to ***, two other dashboard monitors came on. A) One showed that the after-market parking light bulbs installed by Haus of Imports weren't working, and B) one of the tire pressure sensors was broken. This will cost an additional estimated $415.00. I sent the estimate to Haus of Imports. I've tried contacting them by phone and letter, but they haven't responded. So far, this has been my experience, and it's been unacceptable without a solution.
Purchase vehicle on 5/10 and the oil light came on two days later
Purchase vehicle on 5/10 and the oil light came on two days later. Put oil in, but the light came on again. Texted *** and they said to bring the car back. Took it back on 5/18 and got it back on 5/21. Seemed like they fixed the issue according to the mechanic. I don't drive the vehicle every day, but I noticed that if I drive it two days in a row, the light comes on. Sent messages on 6/2 and 6/10 about the oil light. Took it to an Audi dealership to get it tested and they fixed one problem. But the oil light came on again and they said it was an oil consumption issue. Tried to file a warranty claim, but they denied it, saying the problem existed before. Called the dealership on 7/26 to let them know about the warranty denial and asked for an inspection report. Talked to someone in service and they said it's been over 3 months, but the issue has been ongoing. Told them how many times it went to the dealership. They said they'll call the warranty company to see what can be done. Now they're telling me to find a pl.

I bought a car online in early January
I bought a car online in early January . They brought it to Wisconsin from a dealership near Chicago, IL. It arrived on January 10, around 5pm. I drove it about 20-40 miles between the 10th and 11th. On the 11th, the coolant light turned on. The dealership told me to take it to a mechanic, so I did. When they asked for $1500 just to find the problem, the dealership told me to go to a smaller shop. I had to pay the first mechanic and take the car home until I could afford another mechanic. The dealership gave me $500 to help with "whatever" I needed. The next mechanic got the car on Feb. 7th and immediately found coolant stains at the back of the engine bay near the passenger side, dried coolant in the valley pan, and dried coolant marks down to the bottom of the engine where it should have been noticed during any inspection. I agreed to pay the mechanic a down payment because he suspected a head gasket issue once he looked under the manifolds. When he removed the engine, he found coolant in the cylinders and a missing timing chain guide. He found a replacement engine for about $3,800 instead of risking another blown gasket due to a misshapen cylinder head. I am seeking compensation for half of the cost I paid to fix the car: $11,328.53 divided by 2 equals $5,624. The dealership already gave me $500, so I still need $5,124. This seems fair because just replacing the head gasket would have cost $4,700. I am not asking for payment for the tow truck, the first diagnosis, or the two months or more without a car.
I bought a car from this place this month (June)
I bought a car from this place this month (June). The car looked really nice in the pictures on their website. The outside and inside seemed to be in good condition. Before buying it, I asked all the questions I knew to ask. Any scratches, dents, or dings? Is the paint in good shape? Even though I saw in the ad on their page that there was "damage reported". They told me the car was in great shape for a 2012 model. I bought the car and had it shipped to me in NC. When it was taken out of the trailer, the driver used a leaf blower to blow off the dirt and dust from the car. When I looked at the car more closely, I saw hundreds of paint chips on the front bumper, the back bumper was broken and the paint was coming off, the taillight was broken, and the passenger side mirror was broken too. The lug nuts on all the wheels were completely rusted. There was tar on the lower half of the car. The inside was just as bad as the outside. The fabric door panels were covered in dirt, and the carpet (front and back) had dirt and trash in it. There was a big piece of melted chocolate candy stuck between the driver's seat and console that had gotten into the carpet, and there was a hole in the carpet on the driver's side. I took the car to a body shop to get an estimate like the salesman asked me to. I actually took it to 3 shops and I sent them the cheapest one. The damage came out to be $3, ***. I tried for 4 days to get in touch with the general manager. I left messages and called many times each day. He did call me back and left a voicemail, and I finally got to talk to him on the 4th day. He had been given the information that I had given to 2 of his salesmen. He told me he couldn't help with the damage, but after talking to him more, he agreed to send me $500 to help with getting the car professionally cleaned. Today is June 27. I talked to him on June 9th and I still haven't received a check in the mail.
