Beware of "Account Services" calls. I have recently been getting phone calls on my home line. An automessage claims to be from Heather at Account Services about credit card / interest rates.

When asked they refuse to say who they work for other than "Account Services". When I ask to be removed from their call listings they simply hang up. The caller id number is not a valid number (last call shown on caller id as [protected] Sebastian, FL. I believe that the previous two calls came from an invalid listing in Miami FL) Given the "false" caller ID information provided it is impossible to call them back to find out who they really are or to speak with a supervisor / manager to get removed.

I am not sure how legitimate they are (they could be real, or just be complete scam artists and thieves for all I know) It is difficult to tell as they refuse to answer any direct questions, but the evidence from their behavior in consistently diguising who they really are and simply hanging up in such a manner suggests that they are some form of organized scam.

Legitimate or not, they are violating the law by using a predictive dialer to place calls to hundreds of thousands of phone numbers per minute (including those on the DNC list) in hope of getting a few people to answer and fall for their scam. They use a different fake, untraceable Caller ID number each week, and refuse to honor request to remove your phone number from their calling List (I've made several dozen such request that are always met with abusive language).

The identity of the scammers making these call and related information is posted at www.heatherwithaccountservices.com - a web site dedicated to putting a stop to this crap. Please use the information this web site provides and file complaints with the DNC, FCC and Florida State Attorneys General office so they can target this speific company and take action.

I'll support a class-action. Swearing at me on the fone is the last straw. I filed an FCC complaint a few minutes ago. Strength in numbers let's get 'em.

Heather calling with a daily urgent message about lowering interest rates on credit cards. I have been hung up on a number of times after asking to have my number removed. If they do not remove your number and keep calling this is against the 'Do not call" registry in Ohio. I also feel it's harrasment since they call every day. Where can I get some answers?

Received call from 9:30 am 08/11/2008 from IXE Accelerate Financial Services from [protected],
(caller ID), offering to negotiate with my bank to lower my interest rate from its current rate too 6%.

IXE would set up a conference call with my bank to negotiate a lower rate.

I questioned them about their practices and then asked for their Web site and proceeded to investigate, the result revealed statements concerning the company's deceptive practices.

Thank for the opportunity to express my experiences.

I agree with what was wriiten above. I previously just received a call from this company claiming to lower my interest rates and ended up hanging up on the gentelman because I was skeptical and he was pushy and persistent. First I spoke to a woman and then the man with the last name Rice who was the pushy one. He said his company was accelerated financial and proceeded to ask if he could charge a one time fee to a cc which he was going to waive originally, due to my good credit of a 798.00 amount. I hung up finally telling him not to mail me anything or act on anything that was spoken to him. I fear I gave just a bit too much info.

I was duped into purchasing this service. They did not lower any interest rates. I was charged $749 to my credit card, which they will not refund-even though I was guaranteed a $3000 savings I did not get.
IXE Accelerated Financial Center, 927 Fern Street, Suite 2300, Altamonte Springs, Florida, 32701. [protected], [protected]. Fax: [protected].
I have tried to contact this company numerous times to speak with a manager. I have never been transferred to a manager and they will not give me the name of any managers. One time I called to speak with a manager and a woman got verbally abusive and hostile. I hung up on her. She proceeded to call me back FIVE more times to yell at and berate me. This is harassment, illegal and a huge mess. I am currently going to dispute this charge with my credit card. I am also notifying every agency I can about this horrible company. BEWARE!

I got another "account services" call about lowering interest rates. I press 1 and I ask the company name, and they say "consumer services". I ask where they are based and they hang up.
It's not a valid phone number on the caller id. It says [protected]
It's the same group as the Heather from Account Services scammers.

I, too, keep having [protected] show up on my caller Id (as being from Florida). I got so sick of it that I answered the phone to them yesterday. They said theuy were Consumer Services but could not/would not give me any further information and, when I demanded they remove my phone number from their phone bank they said they couldn't.

A recorded message when I answer the phone that directs me to push 9 to speak with a person and I have done that for the past 3 calls and have asked them not to call again. I do not have a credit card, there is no reason for them to call. The phone number on my caller ID is [protected]. The person on the phone says the phone # is [protected]. The last call came on 10/27/09 at 1:18 pm.

They say there is no problem with my account but to lower my interest rates press 1 - I have tried to get them to stop calling and they just hang up on me instead - they are not associated with my credit card companies. How can I get them to stop?

Tell them you are reporting them to your State Attorney General because you are on the Do Not Call list. This stops them for a few months. Then a new 'branch' picks up where they left off with the exact same message. I have noticed they now appear on my caller ID as unknown. I just don't answer when a call is an "unknown." Also, if you call the number back it just rings forever and then you get the message that your call did not go through.

I had been harassed by these guys for at least 5 years. Finally I found out who they are, through the "Bohemian Revolution" blog. And there I got enough addresses, phone #'s, to file official complaints against them:

1) Using that info, don't just threaten; actually report them to the Do No Call List; takes just 15 minutes. Use information, Address, #'s, from "Bohemian Revolution" blog.

2) Report them to the FTC; "robo-calls" complaint form. Just another 15 minutes.

These guys are dishonest, and incredibly persistent and obnoxious. Don't try halfway measures. Just file official complaints.

They have my home phone number on an automatic dialing and every time I answer they say that there are no problems w/ my credit cards at this time, if I want to lower my interest rate press 1 or press 3 and they will remove my number and this rotation calls my home 4-5 times per day and I can't take it anymore. I have tried to speak w/ someone but they never take my number off and then they hang up on me.

They keep cally with the promise to lower my intrest rates on my credit card and say consider this is the final attempt to lower my intrest rates and ask you to press 1 to speak to an agent. When you press one to talk to an agent and start to ask them not to call back they hang up on you. They call every day and its getting old. I am on the do not call list but they call anyway with no way to opt out.

Only problem is that they change their number. Now I get calls from Indianapolis, IN. I have made multiple complaints to the no call center and not received one reply. Others have same experience.

Problem-they change their phone numbers. now they are calling from Indianapolis, IN. I have called and written to No call registry and they have not replied to one single complaint of the several I have sent, no wonder this company keeps calling, they know they have nothing to fear.

This number calls me atleast twice a day, everyday. It's an automated message that starts with "Hi, this is Anne with Account Services..." I've tried staying on the line to tell them that i'm not interested, but they hang up every time i get to an operator...

I have been experiencing the same exact thing. In the beginning I was pushing 2 to be removed from their list. I have twice now pushed 1 and attempted to ask to have my number removed, prior to being rudely hung up on. I am a teacher and these daily phone calls are disrupting my classroom. I need my phone for work related businesses or I would just turn it off. I also put my number on the do not call list, yet the calls persist. I am at a loss. What can be done?
