unauthorized debit order
My name is Sonette van Wyngaardt Id [protected]. I received an SMS that all debit order for monthly payments will run on the 13 December 2019. The SMS was received on the 28 November 2019 via SMS. I am not sure of the actual date. But after the sms i did make a call to direct access advising them not to debit my account on the 13 December for our salaries will not be paid in as yet. This is for both my Direct access accounts for the west bank and the normal direct access account. I was informed that they will take note and that no debit order will run the 13th. I instructed them that the debit orders should run on the normal debit order dates setup on the system 28th monthly. I was also informed that the calls are recorded. Today on the 13th monies was debited from my account, even after i phone them and made arrangements. I phoned in speaking to the person at accounts, who tells me i need to send bank statement. I refused and asked to speak to a manager to escalate this, for this is not the first time that this is happening. I had the same issue the year before. I have never skipped a payment and my accounts is up to date. The call was escalated to Vuyo Doli who said that she will investigate and get back to me. She also said that i need to send the bank statement to reverse any cost that might have been added for no monies being in my account. My complaint is why do i have now do all this additional work to get this resolved, wasting monies on phone calls etc, after i specifically done my part, and now again needs to do all the investigations at back etc. What is the use for me phoning in to make the arrangements after the calls are recorded and it is not attended to. I demand this to be resolved and i want an and explanation and the responsible persons to take ownership

I received a text message from people claiming to work for your company name is Mike Wilson or a Kevin Jasper. Phone number for them is 347-377-8183. or 315-809-2732. They sent me a text message stating that I was approved for a Loan in the amount of $10000.00 without any up front fees . Well I texted them back and told them I was only interested in $3000 and then they said they were going to deposit 490.00 in my account and when the check arrived it was a fraudulent check so thanks to them my account was credit the 490.00 because I thought they were a legitimate company so I followed there directions and bought a Walmart gift card in the amount of 490.00 and then they told me to buy two google gift card for 160.00 which I didn't do. So i was informed by my bank that the check was fraudulent so now my bank account got closed because of your company scamming me. So just want to let you know I will never trust your company ever and I will tell people about being scammed from your company.

I bought airtime on the 6th of August R100.00 but the money went of my account but nothing was on my phone. I tried to phone the call centre 082 135 no answer everytime i phone it says the lines is extremly busy please phone later. How long must i struggle with vodacom.

Good evening, I am a client of ABSA now over 36 years, I cancelled my credit card & reapplied because of an unauthorised transaction occurrance. I waited in the que for almost an hour to no avail, to pickup my new card.
I left, I contacted the branch manager to express my concern & displease. I was told to come in on another day & collect the card. I went in again & the same happened. I explained to him that it was just a pick up & couldn't they make this process a little easier.
I was after a few weeks contacted & told my card would be destroyed. I tried explaining my ordeal & I was rudely spoken too. I was practically told if I want the card I must come in & collect or else it would be destroyed, This is the Smith street branch in central Durban (City). Branch manager Nishaan Mothilall & credit card appointtee Ash Pillay. Ash pillay was extremely rude & Nishaan couldn't care less.
I am extremely disappointed & will be closing my accounts & opening with a more efficient & client orientated bank.
Seems as time goes these systems are losing personal with integrity & those that put their clients first but I guess this is what is the new age all about.
Very disappointed.

The city max shop, She accused me of theft and knew she was a liar، She also threatened to contact the police and her friend took pictures of the car plate، She insulted me and raised her voice and told me to write a complaint and gave me his ID card and she told me she was not afraid of dismissal، Finally you will find the guide in the camera on the night of December 1December ،I am a customer and will love to treat a rude employee.
Scam Attempt
A representative has tried to call me several times. Today they reached me. They sound very professional because it begins with a computerized message option and asks you to press "1" to learn more. The representative sounded very concerned about how I could lower my interest rates and said I qualified because of my payments were on time, I had not exceeded my limit, and my account was in good standing. Then she said that in order to proceed, first she would ask for the telephone number on the back of the card. After this, she wanted the entire card number. At this point I refused but asked for additional information. She declined but tried to put me on hold. After I hung up, a man called me back, but since he was from an entirely different number I hung up. Oh yes, both reps sounded like they had an african american accent. The number the woman called from was [protected]; The number the man used was [protected]. Of course those numbers will probably change now that its published here. I don't want to bother with a BBB complaint because the form is so long--but also because I don't know--if this scam has been going on awhile, why has Florida taken so long to chase them down. But most likely, these scammers are different from the previous one.
I just received the same call from "Account Services Inc", they told me they are based out of Florida, which is a blatant lie because there is no listing for them. when I asked for the reps' name, she hung up on me!
Got a call a month ago from a North Dakota number. Called both my home and cell #'s, which are both on the Do Not Call registry. Home call went to machine, but I picked up the cell call. Told them I was on Do Not Call, and they hung up on me. Today they called from a Nashville number. Told them I was on Do Not Call, they said they'd transfer me to the Do Not Call dept. Put me back in the queue. Next guy that picked up was verbally abusive and offensive. I've reported every call to the Do Not Call registry, but I guess it doesn't do much good if they keep changing phone numbers.
Try to get as much information as possible about these folks who get away with violating the Do Not Call list with no action by the FTC. I sent in a complaint as did MANY other folks and did not even get a reply from FTC. Since FTC does not do its job the doing a search using the terms "account services credit phone scam" and copy the contents of one of the blogs that has a lot of people sending in complaints. Send the info along with a cover note to your congressperson or senator. Perhaps that will get some action.
I received a call from someone stating they could lower my interest rate on my credit card. I knew this was a scam, since My bank would never call me or email me with this type of information. My bank would never ask personal information over the phone or email. And secondly I do not have a credit card balance with my bank! I hung up on them. The 775 area code is from Nevada.
Telephone calls
Beware of "Account Services" calls. I have recently been getting phone calls on my home line. An automessage claims to be from Heather at Account Services about credit card / interest rates. When asked they refuse to say who they work for other than "Account Services". When I ask to be removed from their call listings they simply hang up. The caller id...

I get a recording saying "this is Heather at Account Services. There is currently no problems with your accounts but if you'd like to reduce your interest..."
So I press "1" to speak to an agent and they hang up if I try to request to have my number removed.
The number they call from will not connect to a person. A recording says that the number is not in service and it is NOT a phone company message. It is one they generated.
How does a person get to these shady characters? How do you get them to stop calling?
I have been trying to purchase items, but i was informed that am not be able, due to incomplete registration, while i have submitted all the necessary information on my registration.
