Modern Warfare 2 + War zone 2.0
My account is under review? For what? I have had connection issues since launch. Upgraded internet to try and remedy this. Seemed better. I am a Steam user, have been unable to verify 38 game files since launch of war zone. I have never and will never use any cheats or glitches to gain an advantage. Why cheat at a game I payed for? I game for the challenge. Cheating would negate that challenge. 2 days ago I continually got disconnected from server while in a match of DMZ with 2 friends. Tried Tier 1, got booted as soon as I shot at someone. Found out I am under review. For what?

I have been shadow banned for almost 3 weeks now. i have never cheated a day in my life but still i cant play with my friends unless in a shadow ban lobby.
Why cant they look at a game iv played and see thats im not a cheater at all, i dont understand when everyone else can tell with like 95% certainty when someone is cheating or not why cant the people that make the games look at headshot stats and tracking through walls and let the people play the game that are not hacking at all...
After looking this problem up online it's happen to so many people if its just hackers that have been banned then they wouldnt be speaking out so much about the issue and would just accept the outcome as they know its justified.
iv paid good money for a game and I fully understand cheating is horrible but so is getting banned for nothing at all... please help us fix the problem.

I'm desperately trying to find a solution or talk to a real person. I got banned and I've never cheated and never will. I'm all in for an anti-cheat system but not like this. I own every title on PC from MW2019 to MWII, I've spent years on this account and a fair amount of money, you can look at my stats in all the games (MW19, cold war, vanguard,MWII) my matches, my accuracy, is nothing out of the ordinary. Not only that, I've bought more than a few bundles, I've unlocked (fairly) my mastery camos which took a very long long time. And now I got banned for no apparent reason and it's really frustrating to dedicate that amount of time to a game just to get this treatment. My PC is old, I own a GTX 1050 ti which doesn't meet the requirements to run smoothly, I do use MSI afterburner, ISLC and razer cortex to help a little bit but none of those programs affect how the game plays just how my system works. I consider myself a loyal customer and a fair player, I do not want a refund, I just want to be able to play a game that I love. I don't want to be that affected over a game but I am, cause it's been almost a month from the last release and I was very excited to hop on a constant basis. Also, I have so much progress on my account that is fair to say that I do not want to start from scratch, I'm going to do anything in my power to get it back but if I can't this is a sad goodbye, as a customer I feel like I'm doing my part supporting the game and I would appreciate that at least, I get heard and get treated fairly. If I was wrong on my end, I wouldn't be wasting my time here. I attached my stats, I wasn't able to get mwII but im sure you guys can check that out. Hope this works, best regards!

I have bought a gaming pc and had playstation 5 before that. In order to play and keep progress you have to have accounts linked. Not only am I having the issue but many loayal customers are having the same issue due to it just dont work or you never got the email with back up codes. I was in hopes they would help but they dont. They just take your money and dont help as soon as you buy the game. I am not happy with the support system of the company they dont care about customers at all!
Desired outcome: I want them to fix the issue and do it fast! to many people spend good money to be treated like this! billion dollar company and they just take your money and sit back and do nothing.

Bought mw2 and activision "support"
False ban, "Data manipulation", "Unauthorized Software" I didn't cheat at all I have 100 hours in the game, but I verified my game files after I crashed and I guess it's "cheating" even though the game reccomends me to then, the Anti Cheat banned me. At least 50k people have been perm banned from the game because of this faulty system, and they have paid 70$ to play the game and can't. There needs to be a lawsuit because activision is not doing anything about it, nor do they care; seeing the robot that controls the appeals. It's scamming and it needs to be stopped. Activision isn't addressing this because they are scared that it will mess up sales.
I doubt this will even get read, by a human just like how my appeal was thrown in the garbage by a robot along with my 70$ hard earned cash.
Thank you activision for ruining my perception of MW2.
Desired outcome: Get a actual team and put some effort into the Anti Cheat, fix it and actually do something about it. A robot should never control appeals. Hell, just fix the anticheat for christ sake.
Modern Warfare 2/ Warzone 2.0 shadow ban for no reason.
Hello... for 2 weeks now I have been unfairly shadow banned from mw2 and wz 2.0. I read that rgb programs and mouse programs like razer synapce and aura sync that I have are suspect. Ok, I understand from synapse you can do macros, but I don't use the app for any other reason than to control the rgb lighting and performance settings such as dpi, and if you see my gameplay and my k/d OBVIOUSLY i'm not cheating. About the email sent at 10:39 on 12/10/2022 stating that my account "has been permanently banned for using unauthorized software and manipulation of game data" (case number) and that my ban will not be overturned is completely unfair for someone who has paid £84.99 for the game and has never run any type of cheating software on my PC or any PC for that matter.
Looking at my K/D ratio and my stat's it would be quite obvious that I'm not cheating, I just enjoyed playing this game (for the brief few hours I was able to play it) as it brought back happy memories of playing the original Modern Warfare 2.
Additionally, as your software has had access to the kernel level of my computer, I am requesting access to the data and logs that show evidence of the unauthorized software that you claim was running on my computer. Furthermore, as your reply seems like a blanket automated reply, I wish to make an access request under Article 15 of the GDPR for a copy of any information you keep about me, on a computer or in a manual form about the above incident including the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling and meaningful information about how decisions are made, the significance and the consequences of processing. To summarize I am requesting an investigation into the unauthorized software you claim was running on my computer along with the logs and personal data you have obtained from me. I will happily cooperate by allowing a security engineer access to my PC to investigate through physical drop-off or a remote session.
Furthermore, now that I have no way to play either the multiplayer or the campaign, I am requesting a full refund for $69.99 as the Digital content I paid for is not fit.

Hello, seems like Activision customer support is nonexitent.
I have a problem with my account ( Activision ID : RLnoskill#2296846 ) and it's been around 2 weeks since I filed a ticket to their support without an answer.
The problem is that the email associated with my account has been hacked and deleted and I no longer have access to it and I would like Activision to unlink my other accounts from it ( Steam/Playstation/Twitch etc ) or change my email address to a new one so I can unlink them myself.
Desired outcome: Change my email address to the one of my choosing or unlinking my connections from the account.

Ban appeal message system bug occured after me typing my 2 paragraph appeal but continuously prompted error error.In frustration I typed something like "does this thing even work?" then hit enter. then to my suprise it worked and never got to send my legitimate message I wanted to attach. been a big cod fan for a long time and used it for fun and to just escape the outside problems and really needing it right now during the holidays, If you guys could just consider a possibility it would be greatly appreciated.

Recently got banned for having cheat engine running in the background and I didn't cheat at all. I had no malicious intent and didn't do anything on it I just was using it on another game until I opened mw 2. Is there anything I can do to repeal my ban? The same thing happend to me on m, mw1 account. I feel this was not justified but I guess I can't do anything about it.

Yep as most of us know Activision is Banning paying customer without a reason and stealing the 70 Bucks right now! Happens over a period of a month now! They ignore appeals or just lie abaout the ban reason, many of the victims didn´t even start the game.
I dont talk about people who got falsely bannend in the Beta of MW2, I mean new people not even played 1 min.
They get banned, appeal denied becaus of data manipulation (just [censored]), that Rico[censored] sorry Ricochet or what the bad software called detects and after that they ignore everything. I have a factory new PC installed MW2, Riot, my Antivirus (Avast) and some Driver, Mouse Fireglider, Headset Turtlebeach, Nvidia etc. Got Banned after the game crashed twice! I hope this company gets sued to Oblivion.
Oh and their account recovery did not work, as their appeal system and their Unlinking process! As shown in the screenshot, thanks for nothing. I Already started to get my money back but I still used my anti theft insurance for al Lawsuit!

November 4th at 01:00 AM I tried to play Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 but couldn’t.
The ban appeal itself was rejected and stated, ‘Malicious software’ or ‘Game modification’.
I never cheated or used any hacks for the game.
Do you have log or something where I can see that I’m banned because of a legitimate reason as I don’t know why I would be banned because I never used cheats for the game, and it still worked in the morning? This seems a false positive by the Ricochet anti-cheat engine because of the verification of steam files (stated that 18 files were missingcorrupt and were redownloaded)
My Steam account now shows a game-ban on my 20 years old account.

i was banned shortly after the release of mw2 for data manipulation. Error code: CASERMA - RHINO. i have never manipulated any data or cheated for that matter. there is NO justifying this. the only explanation is the anticheat being unfinished/bad and is just banning people for no reason. it is crazy to me that this problem is not being taken care of or taken seriously yet. i hope that you guys can fix this and unban my account so my 60$ doesn't go to waste.
