Hello, seems like Activision customer support is nonexitent.

I have a problem with my account ( Activision ID : RLnoskill#2296846 ) and it's been around 2 weeks since I filed a ticket to their support without an answer.

The problem is that the email associated with my account has been hacked and deleted and I no longer have access to it and I would like Activision to unlink my other accounts from it ( Steam/Playstation/Twitch etc ) or change my email address to a new one so I can unlink them myself.

Ban appeal message system bug occured after me typing my 2 paragraph appeal but continuously prompted error error.In frustration I typed something like "does this thing even work?" then hit enter. then to my suprise it worked and never got to send my legitimate message I wanted to attach. been a big cod fan for a long time and used it for fun and to just escape the outside problems and really needing it right now during the holidays, If you guys could just consider a possibility it would be greatly appreciated.

In relation to the email sent on the 03/12/2022 stating that my account "has been permanently banned for using unauthorized software and manipulation of game data" and that my ban will not be overturned is completely unfair for someone who has paid £59.99 for the game and has never run any type of cheating software on my PC or any PC for that matter.

Looking at my K/D ratio and my stat's it would be quite obvious that I'm not cheating, I just enjoyed playing this game (for the brief few hours I was able to play it) as it brought back happy memories of playing the original Modern Warfare 2.

Additionally, as your software has had access to the kernel level of my computer, I am requesting access to the data and logs that show evidence of the unauthorized software that you claim was running on my computer. Furthermore, as your reply seems like a blanket automated reply, I wish to make an access request under Article 15 of the GDPR regulations for a copy of any information you keep about me, on computer or in manual form in relation to the above incident including the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling and meaningful information about how decisions are made, the significance and the consequences of processing.

To summarize I am requesting an investigation into the unauthorized software you claim was running on my computer along with the logs and personal data you have obtained from me. I will happily co-operate by allowing a security engineer access to my PC to investigate, either through physical drop off or through a remote session.

Furthermore, now as I have no way to play either the multiplayer or the campaign, I am requesting a full refund for £59.99 as the Digital content I paid for is not fit for purpose.

Hello.

Recently got banned for having cheat engine running in the background and I didn't cheat at all. I had no malicious intent and didn't do anything on it I just was using it on another game until I opened mw 2. Is there anything I can do to repeal my ban? The same thing happend to me on m, mw1 account. I feel this was not justified but I guess I can't do anything about it.

Yep as most of us know Activision is Banning paying customer without a reason and stealing the 70 Bucks right now! Happens over a period of a month now! They ignore appeals or just lie abaout the ban reason, many of the victims didn´t even start the game.

I dont talk about people who got falsely bannend in the Beta of MW2, I mean new people not even played 1 min.

They get banned, appeal denied becaus of data manipulation (just [censored]), that Rico[censored] sorry Ricochet or what the bad software called detects and after that they ignore everything. I have a factory new PC installed MW2, Riot, my Antivirus (Avast) and some Driver, Mouse Fireglider, Headset Turtlebeach, Nvidia etc. Got Banned after the game crashed twice! I hope this company gets sued to Oblivion.

Oh and their account recovery did not work, as their appeal system and their Unlinking process! As shown in the screenshot, thanks for nothing. I Already started to get my money back but I still used my anti theft insurance for al Lawsuit!

on the 27 of november i was perma ban for no reason the last time i played the game i had just finished changing all the rgb for my hardware so i had lots of softwares open i loaded in and my game kept crashing i tried a couple times then it kept crashing so i gave up and did something else then a day after i checked my email and i was perm ban i feel like i have been stolen of 125$ au and i just want to get unbanned my activation id is missversace#1270759 i play on pc and the software i had open at the time was steelseries gg and logitech g hub and omen gaming hub and omen light studio

November 4th at 01:00 AM I tried to play Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 but couldn’t.

The ban appeal itself was rejected and stated, ‘Malicious software’ or ‘Game modification’.

I never cheated or used any hacks for the game.

Do you have log or something where I can see that I’m banned because of a legitimate reason as I don’t know why I would be banned because I never used cheats for the game, and it still worked in the morning? This seems a false positive by the Ricochet anti-cheat engine because of the verification of steam files (stated that 18 files were missingcorrupt and were redownloaded)

My Steam account now shows a game-ban on my 20 years old account.

Could you unban my account so I can play Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Warzone again?

i was banned shortly after the release of mw2 for data manipulation. Error code: CASERMA - RHINO. i have never manipulated any data or cheated for that matter. there is NO justifying this. the only explanation is the anticheat being unfinished/bad and is just banning people for no reason. it is crazy to me that this problem is not being taken care of or taken seriously yet. i hope that you guys can fix this and unban my account so my 60$ doesn't go to waste.

I am writing in hopes that you can help me as this is the second time I am experiencing this.

My modern warfare 2 and war zone 2.0 have been banned, I had this experience with war zone within the last year where I had a hard war ban put on my pc. I tried fighting by appealing it due to being innocent and had not done anything wrong, spent a lot of money on the game. The appeal didn’t solve anything due to the lack of contact info on your behalf. I purchased a new pc as I could not resolve it. I purchased the new modern warfare 2 approximately a week and a half ago and have been banned on that. I am very disappointed as I have done nothing to breach your license and policy terms. If this situation doesn’t get resolved I will be seeking legal advice, as I have spent quiet a lot of money on both of the games.

I was blocked forever (caserma rhino) three utilities from Gigabyte were installed on my computer: rgb-fusion 2, EasyTune B22.0630.1, SIV B22.0630.1. The question is why banned forever?! I have never used cheats or macros in games, etc. Provide evidence for the use of unauthorized software and manipulation of game data by me. Looking at my K/D ratio and my stats,

it would be quite obvious that I'm not cheating Think for yourself why should I spoil the reputation of my Steam account where I have 12 years of service and more than 220 games! You guys have obvious problems with your anti-cheat. Why are you spoiling the impression of the game that you have been waiting for! dishonest and unfair ban. I hope justice will prevail and I can play and enjoy the game. I wrote to support and they answered me.

Fix the banning problem

Whenever you play the game you can get banned for no reason at all I played story for a hour then I got off, next day I got perma banned fix your [censored] and maybe listen to people that are talking about the banning problem and not big creators or I mean you can get hit with a big lawsuit if you would like that. A lot of people are talking about it all over social media but you guys are not doing jack [censored] to fix it.

This company has had a long record of their anti cheat falsely banning people since the beginning of Modern Warfare 2019, its about time they make a public announcment dealing with this. I was falsely banned on october 20, I had Logitech Ghub up and my game was crashing twice before that and i tried repairing the game. I am not a cheater and this was legit the first game ive been banned on, please manually review my case and actually find out what exactly happened. I was also banned on a games ive never played before so that doesn't make sense either.

Unjustly banned. Played for 20 minutes and then labeled as a cheater. Can't even get my money back.

I have attempted to file support requests, filed complaints with the CA AG, and every other means of being heard, but no one will listen.

Activision has not acknowledged the issue at all. There are hundreds of us that have voiced our frustrations on Reddit's /r/activision, and hundreds of us actively in a Discord together.

We need help, and justice!

Played the game for a couple hours with a friend the other day as he raved about how I should get it woke up today opened it to a caserma rhino ban, didn't cheat didn't even play for longer then 3 hours now i'm bewildered as to why I would be banned.

I was recently playing with my friends then the next game we waited 1 hour and 30 minutes no match, I research a bit a came to conclusion I got "shadow banned" please look into this my ign is dekusimp#6524455

I paid $69 for COD MW2, and $59 for COD MW1. MW1 came with glitches and errors requiring daily or weekly updates for the entire three years it's been available. Then comes MW2. I figured they'd already fixed the game, because it wasn't attached to WarZone etc. Turns out, the game is broken, and still requires frequent updates. Also, sometimes you can't even get into the game because the servers aren't working as they should. Perhaps they can upgrade their servers with the millions of $s they get from a poorly built game.

I suggest Activision hire, or take lessons from, the programmers and developers at Rebellion Developments who seem tp produce the Sniper Elite games which do NOT require updates at all, and work faultlessly out of the box.

For some reason, I was banned falsely 4 days ago with the code "CASERMA RHINO" now appearing accompanied by a permanent ban message when trying to load mw2 up from steam. I don't get this ban as I spent 120 hours grinding out the game to try and unlock the Orion camos within the game. I literally haven't even thought about cheating on the game. Also for some reason, the ban was applied to the mw2 open beta version of the game and not the main game, not sure why but either way I didn't cheat on the beta or the main game, why would I, there's no reason to. So this ban really came as a shock to me. I tried appealing this ban on the Activision ban appeal support page and I was slapped with the same automated reply that everyone else gets with this same issue. So to sum it up I bought mw2 for £60 and played it for 120 hours relentlessly, just to get banned for something I didn't even do.

The only cause of this would maybe be from verifying my game files after a crash which seemed to be happening more and more. (I noticed the ban a few hours before the 6 pm launch of mw2 season 1)
