Activision MW2/WZ2.0 false ban

I have been wrongfully perma-banned by Activision. I played the new WZ2.0 for less than 3 hours and got kicked mid-game with an alert that my account has been banned. Mind you, I had been spectating my teammate for almost 5 minutes. I hadn't played a game with over 5 kills and have 0 wins,

This is a VERY wide-spread issue after doing less than 10 minutes of research and has tons and tons of false-positive Ricochet identifications causing thousands of innocent and loyal customers to be, quite literally, robbed; with no method of recourse.

Activision has not done anything to remedy the issue, they don't take their ban appeals seriously and their customers are nothing more than a bottomless pit of money to them. Meanwhile, there is SO MANY REAL CHEATERS in the game still, ruining the experience for everybody still a year later after Ricochet's launch and the ones suffering are the innocent, die-hard fans that have treated COD and its series of games with the upmost respect. If swallowing a $110 pill after putting 200+ hours of camo grinding in multi-player to prep for yesterday's launch is something that can be disregarded by Activision, then I think the community needs to re-consider the amount of support we give them. Not to mention the [likely] hundreds of dollars spend on in-game purchases and 2000+ hours of game time from WZ1 on the SAME ACCOUNT. All of my game purchases, all of my in-game purchases, all of my hard work and grinding has literally gone down the drain without the bat of an eye or a sliver of sympathy.

PLEASE remove this BAN from my account until Activision can rectify their own issues. The appeal process, from my understanding, is a joke and there are huge legal strides to get Activision to answer for the millions of dollars they are stealing from their customers without any level of arbitration or understanding. We are talking about ROBOT CUSTOMER SERVICE and BLATANT SCAMMING. This is illegal and should be treated as such.

Activision Warzone 2.0

November 16, 2022. I have just downloaded warzone 2.0 on steam and as soon as I launched the game it gave an error saying I am permanently banned and I have yet to even play the game. activision id: xxcallmeumarxx#7379719

Activision Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2/WARZONE 2

Dear Sir / Madam,

In relation to a notification without an email on my blizzard account stating that my account "has been permanently banned for using unauthorized software and manipulation of game data" and that my ban will not be overturned is completely unfair for someone who has paid $100 AUD for the game and has never run any type of cheating software on my PC or any PC for that matter.

Looking at my K/D ratio and my stat's it would be quite obvious that I'm not cheating, I just enjoyed playing this game (for the brief few hours I was able to play it) as it brought back happy memories of playing the original Modern Warfare 2.

Additionally, as your software has had access to the kernel level of my computer, I am requesting access to the data and logs that show evidence of the unauthorized software that you claim was running on my computer. Furthermore, as your reply seems like a blanket automated reply, I wish to make an access request under Article 15 of the GDPR regulations for a copy of any information you keep about me, on computer or in manual form in relation to the above incident including the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling and meaningful information about how decisions are made, the significance and the consequences of processing.

To summarize I am requesting an investigation into the unauthorized software you claim was running on my computer along with the logs and personal data you have obtained from me. I will happily co-operate by allowing a security engineer access to my PC to investigate, either through physical drop off or through a remote session.

Activision False ban mw2

Good evening,

I’ve recently been falsely permanently ban due to “unauthorized software and manipulation of game data” which i’ve absolutely have not done at all. This is truly ridiculous i spent 100$ on this game to get permanently banned for no reason. $100 I can’t afford to lose and so much time this past week grinding my guns and levels to get banned for no reason at all. This is truly not acceptable and it’s ridiculous that theres 1000s of players dealing with the same issue. Please fix this and get my account back. My activision ID is imperial#6604751

This is outragious and unacceptable, furthermore ILLEGAL! you guys are a billion dollar company with no real customer service! what a joke!

Activision The false bans on modern warfare to for(Unauthorized software and game minipulation)

Ive been banned on modern warfare 2 for unauthorized software and game data minipulation. So in october I wanted to download the beta and try out the new modern warfare 2 because I pre orded it. I only played 2 or 3 matches then went to sleep. When I woke up I noticed that I got permanelty banned. I tried to appeal a ban on activision support but that didn't work. I've been banned for at least 3 weeks please fix this I just want to play your game. Also many people are complaining about this so please fix this. Plus I got unbanned from modern warfare 2019 because the same thing happened to me twice this is outrageous.

Activision Activision Account/MW2

Dear Sir/Ma'am

In relation to the email sent at 15:55 on the 10/11/2022 stating that my account "has been permanently banned for using unauthorized software and manipulation of game data". I have appealed this and then inform that my ban will not be overturned. I am deeply disgruntled by this as I have paid £84.99 for the game and has never run any type of cheating software on my PC or any PC for that matter.

Looking at my K/D ratio and my stats it would be quite obvious that I'm not cheating, I just enjoyed playing this game (for the few hours I was able to play it) as it brought back happy memories of playing the original Modern Warfare 2.

I had constant performance and server connection issues with the game through Battle.net and on almost every crash I submitted a report and verified my game files in efforts to resolve this issue. I followed all the official guidance to update/install drivers and move copies of the game to my C drive but nothing seemed to work. On the night prior to my discovering my ban I was playing CoOp with a friend and could not progress beyond the first checkpoint before the game again crashed to the desktop.

From my research online, unless I'm mistaken, I've been led to believe that there has been a number of accounts falsely flagged in similar situations to myself. If this is not the case, I genuinely have no idea as to what software that I have installed that would have triggered the anticheat system.

I did address this in support requests and ban appeal through Activision support but have not had any response to this which I must say I have found disappointing.

I would like a review of this ban and an actual reason provided as to how this has come about because as it stands I am worried that I will not be able to play any further Activision titles which is one of the few ways I find myself able to unwind with my friends when I am away from work.

Activision Call of duty modern warfare 2

Bought the game for 100€, played the game for a couple and then got permanently ban. Without doing anything. The appeal was instantly denied too like everyone thats having the same issue.i just use the normal software for the gaming gear i have. Logitech G Hub, JBL Engine, FxSound and all the software that Asus uses for the motherboard

Im using battle.net and no answear from blizzard also.

I've been desperately begging for help for days, for weeks... I opened the ban appeal but an automated response closed the door in my face, no one from activision is helping me and answering me.

I have been perma banned from your game mw 2 after spending $100, I have never used cheat or cheated, for 20 years on your games.

I've been asking for help for days, i'm desperate, i'm an italian streamer. They answered me yesterday that there was no hacking tampering,

But then who changed my id to "iceman"? I hope I get an answer from a competent operator who can help me,

Activision Banned from COD

I purchased the latest COD game MW 2 and downloaded it via the Xbox store, when I tried to play it I got the error that I'm permanently banned from COD servers. I appealed the ban but received a message that the ban will not be removed. I have no idea why I would be banned as I've never used any cheating software and almost exclusively play the zombie games...who cheats at zombies? Would an actual person please look into this for me, I love the COD games and would very much like to continue playing.

Activision Activision

I’m not banned or anything of that nature I simply want to change the email associated with my Activision/Call Of Duty account and they make it impossible to do so. It needs to send a code to an email no longer in use which is the entire reason I want to change the email. It’s been several weeks without the slightest hint of response from support and I don’t know where else to turn

Activision Modern Warfare 2 (2022)

I got falsely banned in the beta by unknown reasons. My appeal was final by you guys and did not provide me enough information about what software is causing my ban. You hide behind this wall of privacy of not telling me the real issue, however it doesn't seem to be a privacy issue when scanning my computer down to the kernel.

Shame on you Activision! I've been a loyal costumer in the past and have not once broken your trust. Is this how you treat your costumers by ignoring this wave of false bans? Start addressing what matters.

Activision Modern warfare 2

Hi,

I got permanently banned yesterday for no reason at all i don' have any illegal software on my pc so i thought this was just wrong and it would get overturned by activision. I applied to get unbanned and in 2-3 hours activision replied saying that they won't overturn my ban since their was illegal software on my pc.

Please fix this since a lot of players got banned permanently for no reason.

Activision Modern Warfare 2 (2022)

I was banned for running RGB software on my computer. For those (working for Activision) that are unfamiliar with RGB software they are programs that integrate with RGB equipment. RGB usually indicates flashing lights and colors that can alternate between red green and blue.

It seems Activision is unaware what RGB software is, and as a result they falsely banned me for "manipulating game data" by having an RGB program running in the background while I played their game. Unfortunately for me my keyboard, mouse, headset, and desktop casing all utilize RGB lights, and interacts with my RGB software.

Unless I intend to replace all my RGB equipment with non RGB equipment, and uninstall my RGB programs, I will remained banned by Activision from their Modern Warfare 2 game.

Desired outcome: Activision hire developers that are aware of what RGB software and equipment are, and thus encourage the company to cease banning users that utilize red, green, and blue lights on their computers and accessories and I get unbanned for it.

Activision Activision - Call of Duty Modern Warfare II

Hello,

I pre ordered the game Call of Duty Modern Warfare II on steam. When the early access campaign came out I started playing. After a few hours, my game crashed and when I reopened the game I was banned.

I spent $70 on the game and was not able to actually play it. I was banned for no reason as I was not cheating, using exploits, or doing anything that would warrant a ban, let alone a permanent ban. This is robbery.

I appealed the ban but it was denied and I got what I can only assume is an automated message with no actual review.

Activision Call of Duty Modern Warfare II

Hello,

I purchased Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II on 03/11/2022. I have played it maybe 3 or 4 times with friends within that period. I went to go and play it today and it says my account is permanently banned.

I have been using this account to play Warzone previously, Call of Duty Cold War, etc. So I am confused why I am banned on Modern Warfare II randomly, after looking up reasons for why it could happen, I do not have any cheats or software of that kind on my PC.

I don't want to be banned, as I spent £60 on the game and have not cheated, used exploits, or been rude to people in game.

My appeal got denied with what seems to be an automated message, I'm not really sure what else I can say as this situation hasn't happened to me before.

Activision Bad website support

No contact phone number to call into for help no email link to send in information for help. When support ticket is put in which I have put in 3 of them now to try and get my 2 step authentication removed since i do not have back up codes for i get a response not enough information cannot validate situation at the time your ticket has been closed the [censored] you mean closed it hasn't even been resolved you lazy fat [censored], money grubbing cheap [censored] Dev team that can't buy rights to [censored] so half your game gets removed at release. Fix your [censored].

Desired outcome: For your dev team to fix the [censored]ing bugs in the game, and for my account to get me [censored]ing recovery, added to this is a better [censored]ing support option section on thier [censored]ty website that doesn't just lead in a [censored]ing dead end loop.
