Hello, my Xbox account was wrongfully banned from COD AND MW3 around March this year after 14 years of use.
My account was hacked into from people overseas as I was notified by friends while I was at work that someone was playing on my account that was obviously not me speaking another language, I scrambled to check and unlinked their linked steam account I found in my account settings, than enabled 2 factor authentication, and reported it. I did not receive any response to my report and I continued playing as usual and deleted their loadouts they made on my characters. Mind you, I play on Xbox series X, a console.
Then out of nowhere a week or 2 later you guys banned ME, the actual owner the account for something THEY did apparently. I have screen shots and everything. I have never hacked and have no way to hack, I play on a Xbox series X, and am a fully time working father/husband who plays after work. I’ve spent a fortune on this account over many years. Please help me retrieve my account. I will not play again if it means making a whole new Xbox account because this is just wrong and feels like I’ve been wronged by activision as well as the hackers. Also I have not gotten to speak to one actual human during my entire attempts at getting this appealed. Appeals have been auto responses where obviously no one is looking at what happened to me.

It sounds like you've been through quite the ordeal with your Activision account being wrongfully banned. Having your account hacked and then being punished for something out of your control is beyond frustrating, especially after years of loyalty and investment in the game. The lack of human support and auto-responses only makes the situation worse, as it feels like nobody is addressing your issue directly. I havent checked their toc in a while but last i checked they point that accounts are responsiblity of the owner [op] to keep secure. the company yes has to keep it secure on their end. im not sure on their end how it works but i am sure they first check if the breach came from their end. if it hasnt then it falls to the owner as fault.
though it is a pain when your hacked to recover from. hopefully they will assisst you in fixing this.
