Activision Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0

My Activision, Battle.net and Steam account were compromised during December 2022. I was permanently banned for this. I was able to recover all my accounts but I can longer play MW2 multiplayer or Warzone 2.0. My ban appeal was rejected with an Auto Reply, meaning no one even looked at my appeal.

Activision Modern Warfare 2 2022

Dear Sir / Madam,

In relation to the email sent stating that my account "has been permanently banned for using unauthorized software and manipulation of game data" and that my ban will not be overturned is completely unfair for someone who has paid £84.99 for the game and has never run any type of cheating software on my PC or any PC for that matter.

Looking at my K/D ratio and my stat's it would be quite obvious that I'm not cheating, I just enjoyed playing this game (for the brief few hours I was able to play it) as it brought back happy memories of playing the original Modern Warfare 2.

Additionally, as your software has had access to the kernel level of my computer, I am requesting access to the data and logs that show evidence of the unauthorized software that you claim was running on my computer. Furthermore, as your reply seems like a blanket automated reply, I wish to make an access request under Article 15 of the GDPR regulations for a copy of any information you keep about me, on computer or in manual form in relation to the above incident including the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling and meaningful information about how decisions are made, the significance and the consequences of processing.

To summarize I am requesting an investigation into the unauthorized software you claim was running on my computer along with the logs and personal data you have obtained from me. I will happily co-operate by allowing a security engineer access to my PC to investigate, either through physical drop off or through a remote session.

Furthermore, now as I have no way to play either the multiplayer or the campaign, I am requesting a full refund for £84.99 as the Digital content I paid for is not fit for purpose.

Activision COD warzone2 & modern warfare 2

some days ago on the 31.1.2023 I was playing DMZ on my PC and my computer crashed showing a blue screen that said something went wrong and restarted after that I found my main account "[protected]@hotmail.com" banned. I made a new account on battle.net so I could play whilst I appealed my ban but I was just sent a automated email back denying it saying I had used third party software or modified the game files. My new account has been placed under review as well, I have sent emails to support from both email addresses with no reply yet. Since my computer blue screened i've had a lot of problems loading other games and warzone2 crashes if I goto another screen briefly, these issues are some like missing a file mscvp140_1.dll from system32. I was left with no choice but to system restore to the day of the bluescreen but am still having issues with WZ2 crashing if I alt-tab briefly. I have used the activision bug report software and tried my upmost to show my adherence to their policy. After much though all I can think is that some of my core system files corrupted when the game caused the bluescreen, evidence being that I was missing some files in system32 and some files where not able to be read when trying sysreg32 commands in MSpowershell.

Desired outcome: I have made purchases and invested a lot of personal time into this account and I just want to have my account unbanned so I can play with friends again.

Activision Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0

On 1/29/23 I was playing a solos game of warzone 2.0 and I was “disconnected from server” at first I thought it was a glitch or error, but then I noticed I couldn’t load any games. After doing some research I learned that this was happening to a lot of people. Even famous streamers that have their own “activision contacts” I realized I was shadow banned for no apparent reason as I have never used cheats a day in my life. After contacting activision multiple times, it seems like I would get a copy and paste reply saying that I would have to wait till the security team cleared my account. After waiting 24 hours, my account was cleared (or so I thought) after I get 10 kills, I automatically get “disconnected from server” again, and I am shadow banned for another 24 hours. This is a known glitch happening to many other people, and I’ve tried multiple times to email activision and report this bug, just to get another copy and paste email thats completely off the topic of the issue I am having. I asked for a supervisor and was told I’d be contacted by one, to no avail. Today is 2/2/23 and I am still shadow banned. I’ve tried to play everyday since and the second I get over 10 kills I get disconnected. This game is unplayable and this issue is completely absurd. Please help me with this issue.

Desired outcome: I would like my account to be fixed since I have had it for 6+ years or I would like to be reimbursed for the cost of the game I can no longer enjoy with the friends I have made over a 6+ year period.

Activision ShadowBanned

I have been playing Warzone 2.0 since release on my Playstation, but had finally got a PC that will run the game with good FPS. After my first game playing I only got 5th with 8 kills and then went to get something to eat. I then load back up Warzone 2.0 and then it takes forever to join a game. This happened to my friend recently also, so I decided to check my accounts status. Now it is under review for a potential violation, which is ridiculous.

Desired outcome: I would like this fixed ASAP as now I will be playing with cheaters and the wait time to join a game is insane.

Same here bro. I’m shadow banned as well. It’ll last for 24 hours, then I can Que a game again, and if I go over 10 kills, I’m shadow banned for another 24 hours. It’s disgusting. I’ve had this account for 6+ years and never cheated a day in my life, don’t even know how if I wanted to. It will show no penalty, and then if I go over 10 kills I will automatically have a penalty again on my account and not be able to play for another 24 hours. An absurd and vicious cycle.

Activision Warzone 2.0

Hi, Good evening Activison.

I am, Justine May Aguidan former Professional Player at Call Of Duty Mobile.

I Just want to clear out why i always get banned or "Shadow Banned" in Warzone 2.0, I just played the game like 1-2months ago sometimes i always get a high kills like 10 to 20kills because its an fps game im used to if because im a former professional player.

I'm using and subscribing in "Exit Lag" so my fps will not drop or get a red latency because sometimes I'm playing with my friends based in ASIA, North America. I'm based in Australia now.

I hope my shadow ban will lift because this is my third time. I always wall bang every house that's why each player i killed spectating and reporting me.

I don't want to get a unlock tool because i just bought my laptop ROG Strix 2022.

Activision Warzone 2/ Activision

I got under review 7 days ago.
I do not hack nothing.
I used afterburner a time ago but do not use it anymore cause my pc was getting too hot,
I don't understand why they took me out of this game just because people are mass reporting.
I played my account on max LVL, got all weapons gold and much platinum.
I spend much time for this game.
I don't understand how normal players who actually pay for this game (who don't cheat) gets banned for mass reporting, while streamers who get everything for free don't pay nothing gets reported 400 times aren't getting under review nothing.
I want my account back I won't let it go because I paid for this and spend many hours on playing all the camos and levels

Activision Account permanently banned for a few months with no way to contact

Hello, I am filing a complaint to have my account ban removed as I have been banned since october, and played warzone 1/mw2 loyally. I spent money in this game, had over 60 days played in warzone and more in multiplayer, I am not including my account details in here but I want to get in contact with someone as I can prove I was not hacking. My stats, camos, everything was legit and earned over a long time of playing. Someone please help.

Desired outcome: unban my account and offer an apology. Id appreciate a response as you guys just gave a generic response and refuse to overturn my ban.

Activision Call of duty: Modern Warfare 2

My account has been unrightfully put under review for cheating, and my experience of the game has been ruined. It is absolutely unacceptable to tell me to just wait for this to be cleared. Until then I am not able to play a game that I paid for. This is not fair, as I have been a paying customer of Call of Duty for over 10 years. I paid for this game, have been playing it fairly, and am now being punished for no reason. I would like for my account to be reviewed in a timely manner and for the review to be concluded. If an excessive amount of time passes, I will begin a fight to get a refund for the game, will never purchase a game of Activision's again, and spread information about this disservice everywhere I can. This is absolutely not the way to treat a customer that preordered the game well in advance out of excitement and loyalty to the franchise. I have never had an experience like this with any other game studio, and am very disappointed that I am having it now with my (once) favorite studio. Please reach out to me for my account info.

Activision Battlenet call of duty

I have just had my Battle.Net account banned for call of duty, I bought a new gpu,ssd,ram to upgrade my pc and played as normal, with my old gpu, ssd and ram I built a new pc after buying a used cpu and motherboard to sell to recoup some of the spending I just incurred. I log into my battle.net on the new Pc and play a game of Warzone to show the buyer it is working and I get shadowbanned, he logged into his account and he was fine. Fastforward 1 day we have both been permanently banned on Warzone 2 and modern warfare 2. My combat record spans back the last decade of call of duties and shows im clearly not a cheater, I even unlocked the mastery camo in the newest game. To add salt to injury I can’t even access the appeal a ban page on Activisions site as when I log in it tells me an error has occurred, I’ve tried 3 different devices, wifi on wifi off, vpn absolutely everything and it won’t let me log on to even appeal the ban for which I even have proof of me buying used parts. I just want a chance to appeal to them that their ban is unjust and their website can’t even handle that

Activision Modern Warfare 2

I have been playing since 2019. since then the cheaters, the flaws have been horrible. I am a builder by trade and if as many problems as i've encountered in your game were to happen on my job I would never work again in my field. I play mostly multiplayer and the cheaters and hackers run it. If not them the uneven matching kills the fun. The DMZ seemed to be an alternative but no matter what the circumstance you are either faced with an AI that just magically multiplies outside a doorway, or the other players hunt the spawns and wait at the exfill points to hunt you. There is no game here. It's either getting blown away or waiting to die. The rank based system is constantly manipulated by cheaters or ranked players. The K/D ratio should be the determining factor not rank. Adding a [censored]head player mark should be there. For those times when you are faced with a strategy that involves spawn hunting so those players are matched with others with that play style.

The idea that the only ones listened to are the top players or streamers is Ludacris. They only opt to get function for higher play and they are already getting paid to play. Those of us who paid to play a game are just fodder for the media cannon. Competition is a challenge. Competing against greater opponents is not. DO you ever alter the game to suit your base of commerce.

Desired outcome: Revamp matchmaking by as K/D or similar scale. And penalize players who kill at spawn or exits. A way to mark cheaters . EG IP address bans even in multiplayer. Yes I am Irate. I paid for a game and got not much more than antogonism.

Activision PC

I love how the first day I get a pc im shadow banned.. The only reason getting a pc is too play cod with a better experience. I am an above average player with noooo hackssss. This is ridiculous to get shadow banned for no reason step your game up please your ruining gaming. Brand new pc no sketchy programs on it I have always had a 1.2 area kd on console how could I be shadow banned? Please tell me or do something about it, this is a joke. Now I cant even play for 2 weeks with a brand new pc whern all I wanted to do was play with a better gaming experience

Activision Cod WMZ

Dear activision.

For those people that want to play DMZz can your team please make private matches. Its impossible to progress and finish mission/contracts when the onky goal of other players is to kill all the players as if they were playing warzone. Its not warzone and honestly makes me want to delete cod mw2 off my console and find another game to play in my free time.

Activision Warzone 2.0

I don't have access to a deactivated email address, and now I cannot play on my PC. I have been trying to contact you guys about getting this changed but there is no number to talk to a person. Everything on your website says I need the old email to do/change anything and after getting of the phone with a Real person at yahoo, that email is no longer active. Please help!

Activision False ban

Logged into my account after taking several months off due to having a kid only to find out my account was banned. Not only have I filed an appeal and was immediately denied for "unauthorized software" I am perfectly willing to subject my computer to a full scan and the only things that would be found are going to be utilities from my mouse and keyboard manufacturer but my motherboards utilities. Which apparently have been causing False Positives for hundreds of PC players if not thousands. I have a lot of money invested in my account and a lot of hours spent in it to which this seems to be blatant theft. Due to getting automated responses in my attempts to contact I would like a manual review of the kernel level software that supposedly shows I was using software not in the scope of running and maintaining a PC.

Desired outcome: I'd like to either get a full refund of all money spent or regain full access with the ban removed from the account.

Activision False ban

On January 4th 2023 I was falsely banned on Modern Warfare 2 (Steam) for using unauthorised software and manipulating game data. I have never cheated in my life and the only explanation for the ban is I accidentally left a vpn on for not even 2 minutes when loading into modern warfare 2 and even at that there are streamers that use vpn all the time so I am unsure if it’s that. The appeal and ban system from Activison is terrible, you have zero human interaction at all and if you did maybe 80% of the player base wouldn’t complain when they get falsely banned, I have already appealed this but I would like someone to actually look at it because it was an honest mistake.

Desired outcome: I would like my account unbanned or a full refund of £85 I spent on the game (not including the extra I had paid for extras)

Activision False ban code caserma rhino

Your anti cheat is getting the wrong players banned. 0 human review and these bans are due to crashes, and files being validated is an issue that NEEDS to be resolved. Don't want to play in fear that the game will ban me after verifying my game files after a freeze or hitch. This is a PROBLEM That needs to be SEEN AND ADDRESSED. APPEALS should be MANUALLY REVIEWED they just auto respond Players getting banned in the CAMPAIGN, MENU, THE DAY AFTER PLAYING and support is impossible to reach and basically non-existent, it's all robots. with thousands having this problem

I’d like some sort of compensating either via a skin or cod
Points
Spent two days on dmz
And your server kicked me as soon as I looked into a buy station,
Lost 3 plate armour, large backpack
Aload of keys
110k in currency for a mission
Two high end looted guns and my 6 streak exfil bonus
This is the 2nd time this has happened and quite frankly isn’t good enough from your point of things!
Update is desperately needed

Activision Call of Duty Modern Warfare II false ban

Over the last week myself and many others have received the CASMERA-RHINO ban error despite playing legitimately.

This was an issue back in October but is happened again but also for console players. Activision are failing to acknowledge or communicate socially or personally on this issue.

This needs to be resolved as we have all paid for this game and can't play it despite playing legitimately.

For me I play on Xbox with an elite controller and Xbox wireless headset. No game modifying software or devices. I am not a great player either but my account has been banned falsely. We either need an unban wave like last time or our money refunded if they are unable to provide the service we are promised as part of the purchase we made as a consumer.

On appeal on the bans we get an automatic response that's not specific as to why we are banned and inacurate as we haven't cheated, exploited or performed any malicious actions.

Also Activision support does not let you submit support tickets and there's no way to contact an actual person. Please help!

Desired outcome: A refund or for the false CASMERA-RHINO bans to be lifted and the ricochet anticheat to be fixed. Preferably the second option so I can play with my friends
