So I whas permanently banned for using so called software and gamemanipulation, I whas 2 weeks at holiday so I thought that is never possible it must be a mistake I did ban appeal and my ban appeal whas at its final :/ so I contacted activision and they said they can do nothing so I whas thinking how this happend, I started to chat with xbox and they told me that their where diffrent console/pc’s logged in to my xbox account….. My login whas leaked and I needed to screenshot the chat of the xbox support for proof, things where clear now and I thought I can finally proof them wrong, so I contacted activision again they told me send the proof and we will message you back in a couple of days, so I sended the proof and 2 days later they told me some things are out of there scope and they could not unban me…… my account worth more then a 1000+$ level/skins/bundels/camos everything! I can't get a shadowban just because someone reported me out of anger or boredom! I have never cheated! I'm on vacation and wanted to play with my boys...and again I was reported and have to wait 5 days!

So about a month ago I decided to relax play zombies and get weekly challenges done I logged on in the evening as I usually do after the weekly challenges became available "have been doing this sense launch btw with out issue" this weekly update for season 3 brought on a memory leak that caused extreme lag I just figured it would wear off after a few mins but that wasn't the case I just got what ever I could get done despite the lag 20mins go by and I decide to jump out so the memory leak using 98% of my memory wouldn't damage my pc im guessing the second I got back to the main lobby I was shadow banned then over night was upgraded to a perma ban I appealed because that was 100% false then they hit me with the deny I later learned there was a data breach and other issues the game was having at the time could have triggered the ban and all their support responses are just automated and you are 90% of the time not talking to a real person and they don't re look into things.

Activision blames customers for their security issues
A hacker was able to access my Activision account and link a steam account without any kind of email confirmation. This user was unable to play call of duty MW3 under my name on their steam account. When I noticed, friends were being added, that I did not add, and I started being kicked off-line, because there were too many user request for my account, I reached out to Activision for support. I also reset my password to ensure anyone with a I also reset my password to ensure anyone with unauthorized access would be kicked out. They did not respond in a timely manner. As a result, the hacker was able to play a considerable amount enough to warrant a ban. When I tried to appeal the case, and explained that I had taken all of the steps that a person should take in this case to secure my account, Activision declared as the account holder it is my fault for any unauthorized access. I will never again purchase an Activision game or any Activision affiliated game.
Recommendation: Do not play Activision games.

False bans are discouraging recurring customers. Chip in $1,000,000 from your budget towards more competent anticheat devs and quality assurance members. The fact that this passed QA is incredibly concerning. A few stupid implementations I've read/experienced are: - Getting more than 15 kills in WarZone (20 now), gets you shadowbanned until a team member manually reviews your game footage. - Using software distributed by mouse manufacturers to adjust DPI and refresh rate false flags you to be manually reviewed. - If your account gets reported enough, you are automatically due for a manual review. Anticheats should be a dynamic system and need not limit players based on arbitrary values, which are totally achievable by any legitimate player. Your anti-toxicity team should be focused more on interactions between players rather than reviewing gameplay footage triggered by false flags. You are burning money this way. Some members report waiting up to two weeks for their account to be reinstated for false flags. I'll remind you, each of your games come out yearly. You are inducing, what I presume are recurring customers, a whopping 4% of the game's remaining life to COD jail. Most of the players who are getting banned are genuinely good players who actually enjoy the game and are more receptive to buying microtransactions. The entire system is a money pit, the game itself has minor bugs here and there, but nothing that surpasses the severity of this.
I don't think I need to express myself verbally; I'm encountering the exact same issues with excessively long periods, over 10 minutes, of 'searching for game' and these nonsensical shadow ban lobbies. A $7 billion dollar company, and yet the situation is disappointing. The experience has become a complete farce! I'm limited to playing close quarters because it only takes 15 seconds to find a match, but my favorite modes like Search and Destroy and Hardpoint are no longer accessible. However, my Steam and Google accounts were hacked during that time, and I lost access for two weeks. I worked with Steam support to recover my account and, upon regaining access, discovered the ban. This is my third attempt to contact you regarding the shadow ban placed on my account following a match on December 20, 2024. I have yet to receive a meaningful response or resolution, despite waiting patiently for over six months.
As previously stated, this ban occurred directly after a server-side incident where gameplay was heavily disrupted — presumably due to a hacker attack that affected multiple users. Immediately following the crash, I was banned without warning or explanation. Unreasonable ban
Ive spent roughly £60 on the game after getting it 5-6 days ago , since then ive played verdansk casual and a lot of multiplayer in order to get dark matter. Im on an average kd of 2.5 , which shows that i am not cheating due to the fact it would be higher. I had used bot lobbies in order to finish my melees , which may show a spike in my stats however it has been said thats unbannable if not used for ranked or smurfing in order to get a competitive advantage. I was banned for unauthorized software & manipulation of game data , however I have never cheated nor changed any files within my game. I was wrongfully permanently banned on my 12+ year old World of Warcraft account along with many others on February 26, 2025. I received an email when I had walked away from my computer for
a bit stating:
"We have closed this game account due to exploitative activity involving unauthorized cheat programs (commonly known as hacks).
- Game Account Name: WOW#1
- Account Action: Account Closure
- Offense: Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized Cheat Programs (Hacks)".
I immediately created a suspension appeal ticket and did everything the website said to secure a compromised account, even sending screenshots in my appeal tickets.
I don't know why anyone would cheat at World of Warcraft and go as far as to use "cheat programs/hacks". I have never received any sort of suspension or warning for anything, but they do not care, it's all only AI and bot responses, there is no one there to support us players anymore, it is a disgrace. Activision/Blizzard should feel embarrassed and ashamed.
I have not received a single helpful response. I am maybe 11 tickets in, only receiving useless copy and paste responses by "Game masters", not even bothering to look into the issue and fix their wrong. I have spent thousands of dollars and even more hours on this game, only to have my long-time account closed for fake, non-legitimate reasons and with no actual support to help me.

Falsely accused of cheating in a ranked game in black ops 6 multiplayer which resulted in me being shadow banned. I was shadowbanned on cod6 multiplayer, I do not cheat and if you took a quick look at my account it would be clear that I have never used a cheat and will never use a cheat! I get spam reported because I am a female player, every game at least one person tells me that they are reporting me because "girls shouldnt play this game" which is clearly the reason I have been shadowbanned is because of the spam reports. The game I got disconnected from I was using the acoustic amp field upgrade which meant I could hear exactly which direction the enemy was coming from which is why I turn and killed them, they then told me they'd reported me which then instantly got me disconnected. Hello, I am struggling to get in contact with Activision due getting shadow ban loop constantly which caused me not to being able to play a game that I have paid a full price for a full access.
I have no ability to appeal for my case nor getting any responses back from them unless its shallow and useless response.

This is nothing less than a clear case of fraud. Go to your bank now and dispute the unauthorized charges asking for a full chargeback.
