I call a&e about the things im looking to buy or the thing that i have not recieved. And a device that does not work. How ever, i usualy get on the phone and someone named dona answers, she is verry unpleasent to speak with. I really wish for some one to review my calls with her, hopfully you have them recorded. I usualy call a while after i get out of work. After 10:30pm. Im up untill about 5am. So in that time i made calls. And specifically between october, or november and december, i have made calls to unfortunatly be speaking to "Donna." My phone number is [protected]. I am verry un satisfied with speaking to her. I hope to speak with someone in reguards to this phone representative. I wish to conduct future business, but i dread calling to even check on an order, cuz i usualy get donna and i hate talking to her every time. I try to be nice to her but she doesnt return the additude. Please listen to my phone calls with her.
rude customer service reps
I myself work in customer service, I work for a bank and I know to let people finish their question before interrupting them and trying to answer what I think they might be asking me. This is not the case with the Adam and Eve customer service representatives, I have called them on 2 separate occassions now with general questions and before I can even finish my question they interrupt me and answer with something completely not related to what I'm asking them and then when I say that was not my question and to please allow me to finish they get an attitude with me. I asked if the free gift that was supposed to come in the same box with my 1st purchase (2 weeks ago) or was it in a separate box? The woman says it will not come with the purchase I just made today... um seriously? I didn't ask about today! Obviously adamandeve would not have predicated I would order again today and just decided to wait to send me the free gift! By the time I was done going back and forth with this [censor] I was angry and I'm great with keeping a calm composure. I'm never shopping there again, you don't even want to hear about the attitude problem with the lady the 1st time I called asking about a product. Yeesh.

The purchase was a gift for my friend who is getting married, no clue what the free gift was as it never came with or seperatly from the item. Then when we bought the second item is when we realized the free gift didn't come. They were 50 shades of grey items because she loves the movies. We don't buy porno and stuff not that we are prude, just don't so I won't need to buy anything going forward but if we do for gifts we are definitely going thru a different store.

I am beyond angry. I chose to purchase items from you because you are known to be disgreet. I am 25 years old and live with my mother after completing university. I do not appreciate recieving mail with vibrator images for my mother to see! It was not even in an envelope to eliviate my embarrassment. Because of this incident I am NEVER purchasing any items from you again! I will go to a competitor for all future purchases.

My dog chewed up my charger a week after my purchase. I called customer service and they informed me there is no way to purchase another charger. Now the toy is a useless waste of space and I fell robbed that I was told I would have to make another $150 purchase to get a cord that should be offered separately! That is rediculous! You should offer separate chargers!

My husband went in the Carson City store to get me some lingerie he told the lady that helped him that his wife is pregnant in her third trimester and he wanted to get her something to take boudoir pics in he showed her a pic of me with belly and gave her my bra size. She picked all size small clothes and up sold him a Vibe Nova. I'm not supposed to have intercourse until after the pregnancy because I'm high risk this toy cost $200.00 and I can't even try it. I'm more worried about buying stuff for baby then a toy for me so I went to take back the whole bag unused, unopened, and unworn. The lady interrupted me and pointed to a no return policy it is very frustrating because even when I'm no longer pregnant I can't where the lingerie and I would have never spent that kind of money on a toy with not many good reviews.

I was at the Adam and Eve out in Clayton off of business 70 road. I was shown shoes by an employee I'm not sure how she's spells it but kaylee was the name she gave me. Everything went well in the store tried one of them on then she brought me the box with both and I purchased it. Then I got home to try on both shoes on the zipper on one was broken completely and will not open or close at all. I called back and Rene answered the phone and told me that they did not have another size 9 or they would be able to trade it out, then told me they don't take refunds and said that the manager would be in, in the morning and I could call back to see what she could do for me. I am absolutely livid that stocked shoes wouldn't bechecked before selling them, or that I just spent 60-65$ bucks on these beautiful shoes that were for work that I now can not wear nor do I have my money to buy another pair. Minus that fact I was told there was no manager on duty who could help me. I bought several items at adam and eve, and spent $178.00, one of the products was in back ordered I received an email stating my order and nothing else. I got the products but the one it was on back order. After 2 weeks waiting, I called customer services and they told me that it will get to my home in 1 week.. After 2 weeks went by and I received it after a full month of my original purchased. That wasnot the end of the problems with this company. I realized that day that I got the item that they didn't charge me for it until that same day. I didn't realize I havent actually paid for it and I went in overdraw with my bank account. I called customer services and jay told me that I suppose to know this because it says somewhere in the online order, so I felt bad for not reading it but even though she repeat this several times she couldn't find it either, so then I talked to her supervisor makisha and explained her my situation and she said that I should have received and email after my order saying that I wasn't being bill for that until they actually have the product to ship it, that by law this is like that. Email that I did not received. She was very rude saying that I wasn't going to understand her or get her point across and there was nothing they can do and I should have been more careful and I should know how to manage my bank account! Very rude again!
It was the first time I purchased something from adam and eve. Very disappointed. I would not purchase from them again. And if you are going to do it you better know all the laws out there to buy products, (at least that is the way makisha see it or in any case that is how adam and eve see it)

If you thought they took the money, but they didn't until later, the money was still in your account. At least it was until you took it out, or spent it on something else. If you took it out, wouldn't you have noticed that the balance was higher than it should have been?

I have purchased things from this company and never get them, when I call I get told that they already were recieved and that I signed for them which I didnt, so that was over 2 years ago I thought I would try them again I spent over 130.00 dollars and got an email stating they were shipped on march 3rd, were to be delivered by today... I get all kinds of junk emails from them and never got a notice that my stuff was cancelled due to past compliants that I didnt recieve my stuff... i think that i bought from them 2 times, today i got my order one of the items were defective, i paid $10, 25 for the shipping, i called them and the female person over the phone, told me, a little nasty, that to return the item i have to pay my self for the shipping.wait, wait, the item is damage and i have to pay to returned? no, this is my last purchase, and my friends, too, are going to stop buying from this cheap, nasty, thieves.company.so. i lost money for nothing, go to hell, ADAM & EVE.
If this is the Adam & Eve company that sells adult toys, etc., I would be very careful if you order from them. I placed an order to spice up my nearly 40 year marriage. Then I started receiving catalogs from them which was very embarrassing. I live in a small town and have a P.O. box and know everyone at the post office and they see my mail. I finally got them to stop sending catalogs but, in my contact with them, they said they would also stop giving my name, address, etc., to other companies. (Actually, the were almost certainly selling that info.) Now I'm getting porno stuff in my mail! Today I got an envelope with a name on it that I didn't recognize. I figured it was junk mail but I opened it at the post office while standing at the counter next to the recyle bin. I pulled out the contents and there, for everyone to see, were big hardcore porno pictures! Some people may not mind that type of thing but I found it extremely embarrassing. Beware and know that if you do business with Adam & Eve they will be selling your address, etc., to other businesses. BTW, the product I got was less than useless. I just threw it away.
Indiscreet Mailings/Refusal To Stop
Bought from this website because they represented they were discreet. We now recieve indiscreet mailings about sex toys, lotions, and lingerie on postcards in the mail. I was SOOOOO mortified when my son brought in the mail. I called the company and they told me they will not stop these mailings without consent of my husband!
Neither of us will ever buy there again.
