Aerotek unprofessional behavior/poor treatment

I got a job through Aerotek working with ADP. I was only there two weeks when a bad situation turned into my being let go under very unfair lies and accusations. There was about 4 or 5 people involved in the situation and I was the only one who got suspended, I didn't get any chance whatsoever to defend myself. There were numerous lies told about me including one where I so-called started a riot in class involving another employee who was crawling on the floor under the desks, passing notes, and being immature while the teacher was teaching a lesson. After talking to the Aerotek person on site about the situation she gave me the warning and told me to go back to work. I did just that. I stayed to myself, did my job and let the whole situation pass, until a few people asked about why our rep was pulling us out of class. All I said was that it was about someone passing notes. And that was the end of conversation. Next day I was getting called out of class and told my assignment was suspended. I didn't understand why I was the only one being accused of these lies when others also were involved. I have never been treated this bad by a company before and I am ashamed to even say that I was associated by them. I wouldn't recommend anyone to work for them ever again, and I would never work for them as well again. This type of unprofessional-ism is why people hate to go to work everyday. Just bad company and hateful people. They don't care about anything but themselves. I hope they enjoy working with that immature high school childish person and those lying individuals. They will fit right in to the ones at Aerotek.

Aerotek poor buisness

I was offered a job and I accepted. I had given a two week notice at my previous employer. On my last day I received a call that the company I was going to start with 2 days later no longer was offering the position due to their budget. I just so happen to have the email of the person I Interviewed with and she informed me that the job was still available and they didn't have a budget issue the problem was aerotek and how they handled their buisness. So no I have no job and no Insurance. I am a single mom and I'm on cancer medications I cant afford without insurance. Aerotek is the worst. They dont give a [censored] about anyone they only care about money. They totally [censored]ed me over a contract issue I had no part of. Complete bs

Aerotek lack of help

I spoke to a recruiter week ago about helping me search for a job, but have not heard from her. She did this previously where she said she would look for work, but never called back weeks later. So I called this last time and she said the same thing. Also, she will not find me any opportunities down south because of the distance to drive to work is too far. However, I told I don't mind the drive because I just need to work. She refuses to help me. So my complaint is do to my working record last year. I abandoned my last job, which I regret to the fullest. So is this the reason Aerotek or this recruiter refuses to help me? Is there community service I can do to redeem myself a second chance to work with Aerotek?

Aerotek aerotek ends your health insurance the day after your assignment ends.

My assignment ended on a Friday, and I was under the impression the health insurance payment deducted from my check the payday before was covering me for the following week, so I went to the doctor to finish the lab test I was needing. A couple of weeks later I got a bill for over $1700 dollars. To my confounded surprise Aerotek - an apparently professional company - stops health insurance coverage as soon as an assignment ends, leaving the employee high and dry. This type of policy tells me that Aerotek must benefit from the health insurance payments and stopping the coverage so abruptly saves THEM money. ..|., YOU Aerotek!

Aerotek lost onboarding paperwork

I've worked with Aerotek for on a CPL assignments each one has gotten worse! This current situation is they LOST my onboarding paperwork. Never entered my W4 marked me exempt and now I have to repay 3600 to the government! Best part my assignment is ending in two weeks! I'll be jobless! And I get a "Sorry" This company and it's recruiters only care about you making them a ton of money! The one recruiter showed up on site with lunch. He spent the entire time snoozing my boss. Could of cared less about the one person making them money...it was more oh please give us more of your business! He never even said bye to me as he left! It's no wonder they lost my paperwork. They could careless about employees!

You responded, "No thanks I'd like to delete this account asap!"

No question. Anyone who owes the government money would like their account to go away. But, again, ignoring the debt is the worst thing to do. Contact the IRS. Approach the problem head on. You'll have to pay them back, possibly with penalties, but they'll work with you. Just be prepared to revise you budget. They really aren't mean people -- they're there to help.

If the could care less about an employee, doesn't that mean they do care?

I believe the issue is combining the term, which should be "care less, " with the aforementioned "could." If one could care less, that means one cares. The correct expression is, "couldn't care less" meaning one has no care or concern at all for the issue at hand.

It's a common mistake by people who are not educated about the expression, but creates a rather opposing spin on what is otherwise intended.

I appreciate hearing back from you. I mean no harm. It sounds like you're going through a rough time. Believe me when I say I can appreciate the anxiety you're experiencing. Stay positive and everything will turn out fine.

I make sure any corrections are very much constructive. We all experience typos, especially with auto correct. Hopefully, if you'll accept the comment as intended, you'll learn from it and refrain from making the same mistake again.

Have you had any luck finding further work? You may want to consider temporary employment, even at minimum wage.

Aerotek payment not received, false statements

I was hired to work for Aerotek on a temporary oil & gas project. When I was hired for the assignment I had 1 project to cover. Upon commencement I quickly realized I would be responsible for 3 projects while all others in my position had 1 and were equally paid. Over the course of many months I completed all necessary work. When a gentleman and lady on another project quit and were fired respectively, I was tasked with taking on their project as well. Leaving me with 4 projects and the same pay as everyone else with 1. I reached out to my recruiter and direct supervisor and asked for a raise. After being given a run around for a couple weeks I was offered a bonus that would be paid out partially at the time and the other part upon the completion of the project. I had to wait almost a month to get the partial bonus. Over the course of the next couple months I completed all of the work I was required and had 2 of my 4 projects at 100% completion. I worked a lot of unpaid hours (by choice because I couldn't stand to be behind whether it was my fault or not) and never complained. I received another job offer and accepted it and provided my notice. After going out of my way to do as much as possible before my final day while everyone else wasn't even coming to work and were paying themselves anyways (the lady we reported to was halfway across the country and never checked in on us), I sent over the finalized aspects of my work. I submitted my final paycheck (which was paid to me wrong at first) and requested a date that I would be receiving the bonus. Again after a run around for nearly two weeks I was advised via email by my recruiter that I would not be getting the bonus because I did not complete my assignment through 3/1. I immediately grew frustrated because my assignment was only slated till 11/1 of the previous year. I had already been there for 3 months longer than what I agreed to be. I tried to call and received no response.

I am upset for many reasons. I did the work and completed the assignments that earned me the bonus. I shouldn't be held hostage until they decide to lay me off (probably only a month or so beyond the time I left.) That's ridiculous! During my time on the project I was also tasked with supervising another employee.

It was a complete joke from the beginning both because of the Aerotek staff and the client manager. They were absolutely terrible. My recruiter called me once (without my requesting her to do so) throughout my 9 month assignment- and when she did it was to ask if I had any referrals for another opening they had.

All that work, all the extra effort while other employees were committing fraud. No thank you, no bonus as promised, 0 appreciation whatsoever. I genuinely wish I had spent my remaining days there doing absolutely nothing just as the others were. I made both Aerotek and my manager aware of the situation and it is safe to say that nothing has been or will be done. But Aerotek doesn't care because they are still getting to bill for these people, and the manager doesn't care because she is incapable of doing her own job and certainly wouldn't wanna let any of her support staff go until she is ready.

Complete joke. Misconception, lies, lack of payment, fraudulent employees, poor Client management, and terrible/complete lack of communication. I will not, have not and never intend to recommend this staffing agency, my direct manger or anything else to anyone that I encounter throughout my career. That is absolutely no way to do business. Honestly have to wonder if they received my bonus and just wanted to pocket it at this point.

Aerotek I was employed by aerotek.

I was recently fired through via text message by my recruiter laura lybrand from aerotek in columbia sc. She misinformed me of my performances and there was no communication of my progress from the time I was concerned on august 5, 2017 until the time she texted me that I was fired september 14, 2017. Back in august I was concerned about my progress because I got no feedback and was wondering why I was not moving to step in the department. So I got in touch with my her and told her to ask my manager what I was doing wrong. Ms lybrand assured me that I was doing a great job, "that I had nothing to worry about and that the manager said I was doing a good job". That statement was made to me august 5, and didn't get anymore feedback from her on progress until she texted me and told me the manager didn't want me to come back because I wasn't a fit for the department in a text message! I was taken by shock because no one from the recruiter on down to the manager never discussed with me my progress again after august 5, 2017. I thought recruiters check with their workers weekly on their progress. Ms laura never spoke with me again about my progress. Here is my text message from her. I copy and paste it to my email. Then I copied and pasted it here:

Hi tabitha. I hope you're feeling better. I am on the way to rock hill for a visitation with family, otherwise i'd call.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but joycelyn gave me a call today and said that she's given this a lot of thought, and she just doesn't feel like you are a good fit for her department. She really likes you as a person and it is nothing personal, but she doesn't think you've caught on quickly enough. She mentioned that your focus or drive just doesn't seem to be there. I had to give someone else at adp this same news yesterday.

Joycelyn doesn't need you to return tomorrow, and I will get her to gather anything you still have at your desk together. I will ask her tomorrow how she'd like to get your things back to you. If I get any other positions in in florence, please know I will reach out to you. You know I mean that!

My name is tabitha mcdowell out of florence sc. My email is [protected]@yahoo.com

If you don't make the cut with a company and you have only been there 4 weeks, it's a sign that there are other opportunities out there for you. With that being said, do you really think it is going to look good for future employers that you were cut after 4 weeks? Not to mention, that you posted a complaint on the internet? You have potential, but after finding this review, I cannot say I would feel good about hiring you.

Aerotek arielle soriano, bellevue, wa recruiter

I had worked with Arielle in the past, however I could not believe how I was treated in the way that I was treated with this most recent incident that happened yesterday 09/14/2017. Arielle had worked with me in the past, and we had a good experience. I contacted her again and told her I was looking but I was keeping my options open at this time. She said she had a job that she wanted to submit me for with a local health care organization. I told her that was fine, and to go ahead. I never confirmed an interview or anything. Throughout my day yesterday, 09/14/2017, I had developments for full time job opportunities that came about. When Arielle contacted me later that evening around 5:40 p.m., I was unable to answer the phone. I sent her an e-mail letting her know that I wasn't interested in that particular position at this time as I had other developments. She already knew I was looking with one other employer, and I told her I had my options open. She said in a rude, loud tone, "WHY!? WHY ARE YOU NOT INTERESTED!?" I explained to her that I am interested in that type of position that she submitted me for, but when better opportunities come along, I like to keep my options open. She said loudly and unprofessionally, ' I DON'T UNDERSTAND! Well, what ARE you looking for then!?" I told her I was looking for a position like hers but in a job search, it is professional to keep all options available and to search. I told her I never made a commitment to an interview. She said OK! and SLAMMED the phone down. So unprofessional. I have never, ever had a recruiter treat me like that. Everyone I have dealt with is professional, and understands if I turn down a position. Not everyone is super desperate to take a job the next day! I was so mad. I have contacted corporate and no one has contacted me as of yet. Do they not care that this unacceptable behavior is going on!? They must not. It sounds like all these people care about are their commissions and paycheck. So much for "we care for our people" or whatever. I would avoid this employment agency at all costs, honestly.

Aerotek they don't really look out for the person who needs work but the employer

It was my first time working with Aerotek. I haven't heard too many negative things about them with other people, but I when it came time to use them it was a different experience. Their staff of unprofessional and very rude without cause. They want you to literally bow to every demand and when a employer cuts you out they will do a 360 turn and treat you like horse crap. They should have their contractors back if they are hard working more so, but they like to boot lick the employer. They forget the people who need to work are working for them and without temps there is no recruiter. They knowingly know if the employer is horrible and has a high turn over but won't disclose that information to begin with and when you get axed they make seem like it's your fault and talk down to you. Rather go to Maxim and then this place . This will be my first and last time using them for looking for a job.

Aerotek recruiter

Giving I've worked for Aerotek since Dec 2016 & i loved my first recruiter. I must say Samantha at the Hurst location is a terrible recruiter she acts as she cares but when things might get real bad with you she blows up...I lost my baby bother not even 2 months ago on mother's day and since then I've been having bad luck. But I still made my way to work I missed 1 day a week due to things I couldn't control and get told 'I'm the worst employee she has had since she has been there' what a great way to talk to someone who's really still GRIEVING a close death. I wonder how soon she would go back to work if her immediate family died people have no respect. I love the company but I dislike this recruiter fully for how she handled me all the other Aeroteks are great with great recruiters.

Aerotek six month suspension

Hello,

I am coming to you today because I was given a 6 month suspension by Aerotek and feel that the actions taken were unfair and discriminating. Aerotek has labled me as a person who failed a drug test for not accepting the job that was offered to me.
I feel discriminated against because I refused a job offer. What Aerotek is doing to me is wrong and someone has made a mistake. I have never failed a drug test.

I was NOT given an orientation and all the information about the job was explained to me that same day only. There was several issues that was making it impossible for me to start the job offered to me. After going home and thinking about the job I came to the conclusion that I was not ready for the Job. I let them know that I could not start work at 8:30 because my three children all started school at different times. I was hoping for a job that started at 7am or earlier. At the time I was juggling with only one car and that made it very hard for me to do anything.
The Job offer was put down, therefore a drug test should have not been processed and written down as a failure for me.

The Recruiter is Kelsie Mellor and her Manager that gave me the 6 month suspension is Jose Correa and they are located at Aerotek, City of Industry, CA 91746.

Aerotek person "handling my job search"

I have a lady that at first we hit it off. She guaranteed a position for me in 3 weeks that was a PERFECT fit. Its now been nearly 2 months. I have had many people from aerotek call me since I was promised this job. When I bring up I am already working with her, they act like they cant help me and rush off the phone. I was promised a job. I want to work. I will make your company and the other company I work for happy to have me. She isnt the first person at Aerotek to do me like this either

Aerotek unprofessional, disrespectful

Very unprofessional the recruit Jose will never give fallow ups. You will get terminated for no reason even if you have good work ethics and are educated. Will not give a valid response as to why your assignment was ended and respond with you quit when that is not the case. Asked for another rucruiter which was Edgar and he's just as unprofessional as Jose or worse. Will never call you back to see how the job is going or about if your saposed to go in to work. Also gets mad when you point out the flaws in their unprofessionalism. Had to talk to their manager to solve the problem which was the same person who started me off with a job and she is very professional. Very disappointed with this agency, also everyone was trying extremely hard not to contact their manager nor kept her updated to the big problem I was having with Spatz laboratory. Besides the manger all the the recruiters Ive dealt with are extremely disrespectful and will not help you if they feel intimidated by pointing out their flaws and unprofessionalism. I've been with this agency for 7 months and am extremely disappointed the way they treat their workers.

I was just terminated with a lie from the client just before my 90 days probation was to be completed, their is something up with this company. When I came to Aerotek to let my recruiter know what had occurred they promise me they would get back with me before the end of the business day and it's been 3-4 weeks no one has even thought about calling me. I asked Kaley for the email she said the supervisor sent at 3 in the morning on Easter weekend stating I had made too many mistakes she claims she had to get it from another recruiter. Aerotek and these other companies are in some kind of scamminG ring to under pay employees to keep them from obtaining benefits so they can keep pocketing money off new clients I think we need to file a class action suit against Aerotek and the contractors who use them as a staffing service I was discriminated against as well as lied on and treated rudely and unfairly if anyone would like to join me please contact me risran612@hotmail.com

Aerotek christian rosa, my terrible recruiter

I had met with Christian Rosa in the Pensacola, Florida branch of Aerotek and he was a horrible recruiter. He hasn't work there very long, from what I was told but, he likes to answer the phone and give people the wrong name for himself. I called and he answered the phone as Christian Anthony not Christian Rosa. This I feel is very inappropriate for work and when there was a job that looked like a great fit for me on paper, he simply told me he didn't think it was something I would be interested in after talking with me for a half an hour. I told him that the description of the job was something I had done before and would love to do it again. There is a job in the future at Hatachi, Christian had no idea when they were going to start hiring again, that was doing similar work as the previous position at Williams Electric and at the same pay, but he wouldn't let me interview at the first position because he wanted me to wait till Hitachi is hiring sometime in 2017. He has no idea when Hitachi is going to start hiring and seems to only think this job is a fit for me. I need a job as soon as possible because I moved to Florida to be near my wife's sister who is terminally ill. I really don't need the added stress of a recruiter who can't listen also. When a job sounds like a good fit for me, he shouldn't have told me about the job because it was a position I was very interested in. This made me very mad because he went ahead and sent two other people over for this position at Williams Electric and told me I had to wait for the Hitachi job that he has no idea when they will be hiring or even if they are hiring. I don't have the time nor the money to wait around for what the recruiter thinks is my perfect job. I feel I should have some say in what I would like to do for a living, especially when I am a great fit for a job that was almost doing the same type of work and pay as Hitachi. I would still like to hear the opportunities at Hitachi, I just do not want to work with Christian Rosa or Christian Anthony orwhatever he is calling himself. This looks very unprofessional for Aerotek. I worked with aerotek in Kansas City and never had a problem, but the first two days I worked with Christian made me never want to use Aerotek again.

Aerotek payroll

I am one of hundreds working in South Carolina on a FEMA hurricane clean up project, These two companies are constantly incapable of giving employees a pay check, a pay check with the correct hours worked, a pay check with correct hours of overtime and it's not a big deal to them. Excuse after excuse very unprofessional .They advertised $12.00 an hour and ability to work 12 hours a day, so after 40 hours you earn $18.00 an hour. All would be great if the payroll was not constantly wrong. Everyone on this project is having the same payroll issues.

Aerotek Racism

I have become the victim of rascism by Kayla Dormer who is emploed at Aerotek recruting which is a recruiting firm. I met Kayla for the recruitment process and was treated very badly.

I am Asian by race, in search of a job I went and met Kayla and discussed about my profile and the kind of job I was in search of. She first looked down at me and wasn't responding well to my questions. She made me wait for a very long time, was waiting when she would attend me and discuss about the vacancies. I have 5 years of work experience and knew I would get a good job somewhere, though I was new to the place. Kayla wasted my time and made me come to the firm several times.

She always kept saying we are still waiting for vacanices that would be suitable to your qualifications, whereas she favored the candidates who were less qualified than me. This was so ridiculous just because I was from another country she treated me this way. Three weeks I have been going to Aerotek and wasting my precious time! I want everyone out there to be aware of the kind of people are employeed at Aerotek recruiting! she should be fired for not attending to her candidates.

Aerotek kayla dormer – employed at aerotek recruiting and staffing

I was in search for a job in the banking sector. It was very difficult for me to find a job soon. finally I got to know about Aerotek Recruiting and Staffing and went to that company. I went and met Kayla Dormer who was working as a recruiter there and discussed about my profile and the kind of job I was looking for first she charged me $200 for finding the right position, I had give her the fees. The way she responded was with great attitude and said since I'm new to this city it's difficult for me to find the job at a desired position. How could she decide and be very rude with the candidates after taking money specially?!

She asked me to come after a few days so she can try to find vacanices for me. I went to her next week and spoke to her she said there are two positions which are vacant and she would schedule the interview for me. I said ok and the interviews went fine. I asked her what was the next procedure. She said I got selected for one of the company. I was happy about that and then asked her about the joining date. But again she said that Aerotek would be charging me $600 so instead asked me to give her $400. I was completely shocked! What the hell was this company upto or what was Kayla Dormer upto!

Kayla is a CHEAT and FRAUD!. Taking money and charging with huge amount! I still can't believe what was happening. I knew the company never charges any fee after the recruitment takes place it was all done by Kayla. She is the one who is a big time fraud taking money from people just to fill her pockets! This is something illegal that she has been doing! I am reaaly angry and pissed at her behavior I would want the company to know what she has been doing and practicing so far!

KAYLA DORMER IS A FRAUD!

Aerotek sexual abuse

Please take a minute and read my experience with kayla dormer from roseville, ca who's employed at aerotek recruiting

And staffing.

My name is pearl white who's employed at forbes inc. I was doing good with my work at forbes until I met kayla dormer at

Aerotek recruiting and staffing. One fine day I got a call from her saying that they have a opening at some big multinational company

And the pay would be 2 times of what I am getting paid at forbes and everything willl be on papers and a bond will be signed which will

Confirm your employment but the company's name is private & confidential as you are the only person who will be hired by the inc.

Oh lord! Her pitch was so professional as if she's hiring me for some intelligence angency. Kayla gave me a call and told me meet up

For exchanging documents physically because she wants to get it certify and the person certifies only when the document owner is

Present otherwise who hands over documents in usa we email it. I met over and once she told me to come over her place as she's busy

With some personal work and not going to work place.

I went to meet her at home and she wasn't doing any work, she was waiting for me in her "bath robe". I went and sat down for a while

She told she'll take a quick shower and brb. I was waiting for her and from no where she came from back and grabbed me so tight i

Wasn't able to move and she was drunk too. I tried to set myself free but her grip was so strong I wasn't strong enough to do that. She

Lift me up and took her to her bedroom and throwed me on the bed, I tried to hit her but she saved herself and started touching me in

Appropriately. I can't explain how you feel when someone touches you without your wish. I was screaming help! Help! Help! At the

Top of my voice but of no use and she started hitting me with a wooden stick to make me quiet. She thereatned me to stop screaming as

There's no one to listen my voice and no one will save help. I was helpless I had nothing to do except what she did with me and made me

Do. She took off her "bath robe" and approached towards me. She had a knife too by her side to scare me and she started taking off my

Outfits forcibly it was like I had no option rather than staying like a puppet and let her do whatever she wants.

I was helpless screaming for help! Help! Help! And she did which I never experienced before in my life. I lost my work too due to

Depressed state of mind. I wasn't able to concentrate on anything. I went to interview but there was no point where I could crack any of it as

This feeling always scared me that someone would do the same with me and i'll become their time of fun. It took me several months and all my

Savings were utilized after ani-depressants due to that shocking incident. But jesus is with me and she will pay for it. I am out again and

Pasting this blog as much as I can to warn those canditate incae they get a call from her as she's interested in men & women too.

Never ever go to meet kayla dormer as she'll never help us getting a job but we'll lose our job though for sure.

I want everyone to beware of kayla dormer as she's a women with pervert intentions and all you'll live on after a meet with her is on

Anti-depressants

Aerotek experience with recruiter d'angelo

I generally do not post complaints about a service online since I would rather resolve the issue with that individual or his/her superiors but cannot let this slide on the account of so many people like myself are dependent on the recruiter doing their due diligence to get them positioned with their next employer. I have dealt with Aerotek & Robert Half in the past and never received the most absolute poorest service from recruiter, D'Angelo Harris. To make a long story short, I was well qualified for the position advised by this recruiter and seemed like a perfect fit according to my background experience. I was told that this employer was eager to hire and needed positions filled quickly and was assured Id be a priority to get my info on their desk sooner than later (approx. week). After no response to my phone calls and emails I finally get a response from the recruiter asking if I was still interested in the position ( of coarse I'm interested and ready to start) 3 weeks later, no interview. After providing him letters of recommendation, I was able to get the interview (1 month later) and the recruiter sent me the information prior to the day of our meeting. Despite the poor experience, I was ready to forgive and forget since I now have the interview and I'm in control and all is RIGHT ...I was so WRONG... the recruiter did not put the building # of the office and my 20 minutes early turned out to be 30 minutes late since I had to ask bystanders and go to each building on that street for assistance to locate the interview whereabouts. I left messages for the recruiter with simple instructions ( provide the building #) and just as I expected, no guidance along with no answer to my simple request. Interview went great and I apologized for arriving late and thanked them for taking the time out to meet with me. The recruiter called me back later that day with no apology due to the lack of information he provided and was concerned since I arrived late and did not start off on a good note with the employer ( as if its my fault) and than asks if I'm totally committed to landing my next career since he is 100% committed to my success. I could not believe what I was hearing and advised him this experience was not as I expected nor have I encountered with other recruiters. Lack of communication & guidance played a role and he needs to own up to these mishaps. Despite the issues I let him know I was interested and ready to move forward with next steps for hire and was assured that I would get a call the next day...CALL NEVER CAME. 3 weeks later I'm left in limbo not knowing if he even spoke with the company. He also advised that I do not send a thank you letter/ email to the interviewer since it will bog up their busy schedule taking 3 minutes out of their day to read it. D'Angelo Harris does not represent Aerotek to the highest standard and paints a bad picture of the company due to his poor work ethic. If I replicated his service at my prior job I would be fired or giving warning with a write up. Nobody deserves this type of experience especially if they are in transition from job to job and are soley relying on the guidance of their recruiter. Get your staff the proper training needed or simply look for the right candidate to represent your company. I am blessed to have a career lined up and wish all the jobseekers luck in finding employment via Aerotek. Hopefully they will have a recruiter fully committed and makes it a priority to set them up for a successful interview.
