I started working with Aerotek for a job in Richardson, in September 2014. I should have transitioned over by now with the company but I have not. It took only two weeks for my direct deposit to kick in then. In November I left and took a permanent position which I worked 3 days and left because the position I was offered and the amount of pay was not what...

Aerotek lack of professionalism

Devin Stewart hired me in Aerotek Phoenix and I worked for Alere Health and they did not provide employee's with a time card and I was asked to step off the assignment and they did not pay me and I am not sure if i will have my 48 hours of work! Lack of professionalism both companies and no respect for the people they are hiring on. I have contacted the Department of Labor regarding my pay.

Aerotek unprofessional interview

I went to their office located in Miami Lakes to receive and apply for a Job that was offered to me by e-mail. I was received by a recruiter named Jasmine Villacis and she started a very rude and unprofessional interview. She wanted to know with details all the places I had applied before and wanted me to sign a document saying that If somebody else called me about that position I was not able to negotiate only with Aerotek. I refused to sign and the interview was done.
I drove from about 25 miles to apply for this job and I feel I was not treated with courtesy and professionalism. I already applied to other companies and I was never had been treated in this way.

Aerotek unprofessional and lies to your face

Worse employment staffing service out there. I was interviewed and hired by JESSICA SHEEHY (AREOTECK APPLETON WI ). I went to the orinetation, got my badge, was ready to start work, only to be told that I could not start till I had a drug test. I have no problem with that, what I have a problem with is I was told by Jessica sheehy that I could start the job then have the drug test. I was sent home. I called and called and even emailed her about this. NO RESPONSE till a week later. I get an email from her saying the company decided to go with someone else. REALLY ? She messed up, and now I'm out a job. Also she was so rude and unprofessional, I should of known this was all some kind of scam. Again, her name is jessica sheehy, appleton wi office [protected]. If she contacts you RUN

Aerotek horrible horrible agency

Wow... Where to begin! This agency's owner must not care about who they have representing them which in turn means they must not care about sustaining a positive reputation as well! I am a human resources professional & have worked with many staffing agencies... Aerotek by far is the absolute worse agency every created & I find it hard to believe they are still in business at all! I relocated to the portland area & of course most of the opportunities are now being pushed through these "agencies" so I too have to "go through them" to find opportunities. Working with many agencies in my profession, aerotek was definitely not one I wanted to use having had horrific experience from them in the st louis area but unfortunately the position I found appealing was being offered through these idiots! So, i'm going through the process... & the company (not aerotek) liked me as much as I like them... Yah! It never happens but I instantly loved this company & they loved me — win win! Unfortunately aerotek is just as challenged in portland as they were in stl but I got through it. After working at the company I almost left because of having to deal with andrew & illina at aerotek! Andrew is supposed to be the "head guy" which is who I reached out to because illina (a staffer) has been repeatedly rude, demeaning, judgemental & ignorant. She had the audacity to get irate with me because I was trying to get a hold of my staffer who had left me a voice mail... Long story short it was so bad I had to resort to recording my calls with her. After advising andrew of this & playing these conversations... He was remarkably shocked at her behavior & advised me that he would take care of this immediately. Needless to say he did nothing, no follow up, no reprimand, nothing! I was so appalled by their treatment I went to the company I was working through them at & put everything on line. I told my supervisor there that I will no longer feed the hand of aerotek and unless they terminated the contract and hired me themselves I would quit... It was that bad.in this day in age to walk away from a "job" may sound ludicrous but this agency left me no choice... I could not & would not continue any relationship with them for my own sanity. As most of you know, agencies make it difficult to "get out of a contract" but due to another "temp" working at the same company they pretty much made a deal & the company hired me out from under this nightmare. I'm nearing the end of my first year & couldn't be happier with the company that fought for me. As you can imagine, aerotek is no where around this company anymore. I do, however, enjoy educating many about aerotek & i'm happy to report that many of my professional contacts nationwide refuse to work with them (most of them too had horror stories involving aerotek) and I advise employee's of the same. It's a wonderful feeling when you can not only help others by warning them of the dangers of dealing with aerotek (too many negative instances to spout here!) as well as hopefully being a part of the team to get them out of business! Feel free to join this team with me... Membership is growing each day! :) thank you very much for taking the time to read this and remember to heed my warning or you'll be the next member of this team! :) take care all!

Aerotek poor professionalism

I had an interview with Miss. Rozlin Harris of Aerotek at 1 P.M.. The afore mentioned Miss Harris did not show up (back from lunch) until 1:15 walked in and addressed me. Told me wait one more minute while she went to print out my resume. Ten minutes later she walked back out and said "let’s go to the conference room" and then turned and asked "do you have a copy of your resume?"
We went in to the conference room and went through the interview Miss Harris never asked about the job I applied for. Miss Harris just kept pushing with your experience we will submit your resume for these jobs. I did not receive a phone call for two days, and then I received an email stating there is a problem with your resume. I have never found out what that issue was or is with my resume. I received another email to call her; this was four days later. Miss Harris then began to tell me that with 30+ years of experience as a technician and Engineer that I was under qualified. This was for a position that I had worked at for 6 years with the same company, but left to go back to school. I did note even qualify for my previous position. I spoke with the hiring manager and my resume was never even submitted to the hiring group. The manager was the one who suggested I apply for the position.
I cannot speak for the company as a whole, but Miss Harris has no business being in her current position. I have 30 + years of technical experience and I hold Five A/S degrees, one 2 year certificate and a bachelor’s degree. Yet I do not qualify in her opinion for my old position.

Aerotek horribly unprofessional

Lindsay Leddy Piscataway, NJ rep
I had applied for a position that was posted on one of the career websites. Went through the whole process for the application. Received a call from the above named rep to make an appt for an interview. The intial job that was applied for was no longer available which was communicated to me that this was known. A second position was proposed which was similiar to what was being sought. Contact was made the following day confirming the interest in the position the was proposed". A follow up call was made the next day upon which a voice mail was left'. No callback was made from the rep for the rest of that day or the next?. Another call was made as a follow up with a voice mail also being left/. As the day was almost finished another call was made upon which voice mail was reached again;. Proceeded to immediately call back through the switchboard and the phone was amazingly answered:. The conversation was left that I was to be informed regardless if this was a go or no go/. Now that it has been around three weeks since no calls, no emails and basically no nothing from this rep!. Highly unprofessional, clueless and has absolutely no common decency

Aerotek - Female Tele marketer f-a-r-t-s like an elephant

Tele Marketer Cindy Suspended For Passing Gas

Girl's Family Says Punishment Too Steep

Springfield, Massasschuets -- A chubby 300 pound female Aerotek temporary staffing
employeehas been suspended from work because she intentionally passed gas and
refused to stop eating refried beans and drinking cold beer in the lunch room,
according to the unnamed call center management. Cindy was also seen bringing to
work "balut" by the dozen which is chicks still inside the egg shell for snacks,
we beleive that this is how she won over Paul another Aerotek temporary staffing
employee by sharing her "balut" with Paul, later that week co workers said that
they saw Cindy's phone number next to Paul's coffee cup, Paul being a married man
began playing hard to get and this is when Cindy began passing gas to win him over.
This was the first time we ever seen a black skinny anorexic man turn blue all 6ft
and 88 pounds of him.
The call center manager reported that Cindy a veteran short 300 pound Aerotek temporary
staffing employee was suspended from the call center under a company rule against
disruptive behavior and eating beans and drinking cold beer in the lunchroom and also
eating "balut" grossing out the other co workers by pulling the whole chicks out of the
egg shell before eating them.
Supervisors and co workers said Cindy repeatedly passed gas to make Paul laugh, but
instead Paul passed out from the stench and collapsed. Emergency paramedics had to be
called in to bring in smelling salts and oxygen mask to revieve Paul. Simon, the manager's
right hand man who sometimes uses his left, in the mean time till the ambulance arrived
Simon didn't hesitate to volunteer with a big fat grin on his face and huge lump in his
pants to give Paul mouth to mouth resuscitation with an occasional slip of the tongue.
They said the smell of Cindy f-a-r-t-i-n-g also made it difficult to breathe making the
other tele marketers and co workers turn blue in the face and gasping for air.
The manager said that when he heard Cindy f-a-r-t-i-n-g it was like music to his ears like
a wild herd of elephants trumping and blowing their trunks.
Cindy's family said their daughter isn't perfect and they're appealing the suspension,
saying the manager went too far with its punishment. The manager did say that he enjoyed
the smell of Cindy's passing gas and that it reminded of being back home in the Phillipines
when he lived in tents and everyone used to poop in the corner of the tent.
On the brighter side the manager just announced that Cindy will be re instated for training
purposes and will be allowed to eat all the deep fried beans and drink all the cold beer she
wants at work at her desk and that all tele markers with less than 12 leads an hour will be
sitting next to Cindy till their production improves or are carried out on stretchers by
paramedics.
Smelling salt and oxygen masks will now be supplied in the emergency kit next to the band aids,
which for some strange reason Simon, the manager's right hand man who sometimes uses his left
has been going through a box of band aids every other day, Simon claims its from wood splinters
chopping wood on his uncle's farm, but we found out that his uncle sold the farm 10 years ago,
we always wondered what a right hand man who sometimes uses his left does with his right hand.

Aerotek the guide to taking a dump at work

- Aerotek - The Guide to Taking a Dump at Work

Originally published in 2011 as "The Aerotek temporary staff empoyee guide

to taking a dump in a call center"...this document is a living tribute to something

we all have to do at our jobs from time to time. Foul smells, rude sounds, and bad

reputations are the stuff of legend or nightmare for many a minimum wage worker

tele marketer. With this "Guide to taking a dump at work" we will "show you the ropes

and help through a difficult learning time for many, and a happy place for others...

Escapee -- A f-a-r-t that slips out while taking a leak at the urinal or forcing poop in

a stall. This is usually accompanied by a sudden wave of panic/embarrassment. This is

similar to the hot flash you receive when passing a police car while speeding. If you

release an escapee, do not acknowledge it. Pretend it did not happen. If you are standing

next to the f-a-r-t-e-r at the urinal, pretend that you did not hear it. No one likes an escapee,

it is uncomfortable for all involved. Making a joke or laughing makes both parties feel uneasy.

Jailbreak (Used in conjunction with escapee) -- When forcing poop, several farts slip

out at a machine gun's pace. This is usually

a side effect of diarrhea or a hangover. If this should happen do not panic, remain in

the stall until everyone has left the bathroom so to spare everyone the awkwardness of

what just occurred.

Courtesy Flush -- The act of flushing the toilet the instant the nose cone of the log hits

the water and the poop is whisked away to an undisclosed location. This reduces the amount

of air time the poop has to stink up the bathroom. This can help you avoid being caught

doing the WALK OF SHAME.

Walk of Shame -- Walking from the stall, to the sink, to the door after you have just

stunk-up the bathroom. This can be a very uncomfortable moment if someone walks in.

As with all f-a-r-t-s, it is best to pretend that the smell does not exist.

Out of the Closet Pooper -- A colleague who poops at work and is damn proud of it. You

will often see an Out of the Closet Pooper enter the bathroom with a newspaper or magazine

under their arm. Always look around the office for the Out of the Closet pooper before

entering the bathroom.

Pooping Friends Network -- A group of coworkers who band together to ensure emergency

pooping goes off without incident. This group can help you to monitor the whereabouts

of OUT OF THE CLOSET POOPERS and identify SAFE HAVENS.

Safe Haven -- A seldom-used bathroom somewhere in the building where you can least expect

visitors. Try floors that are predominantly of the opposite sex. This will reduce the odds

of a pooper of your sex entering the bathroom.

Turd Burgler -- A pooper who does not realize that you are in the stall and tries to force the

door open. This is one of the most shocking and vulnerable moments that occur when work taking

a dump at work. If this occurs, remain in the stall until the TURD BURGLAR leaves. This way, you

will avoid all uncomfortable eye contact.

Camo-cough -- A phony cough which alerts all new entrants into the bathroom that you are in a

stall. This can be used to cover-up a WATERMELON or to alert potential TURD BURGLARS. Very

effective when used in conjunction with an ASTAIRE.

Astaire -- A subtle toe-tap that is used to alert potential TURD BURGLARS that you are occupying a

stall. This will remove all doubt that the stall is occupied. If you hear an ASTAIRE, leave the

bathroom immediately so the pooper can poop in peace.

Watermelon -- A turd that creates a loud splash when hitting the toilet water. This is also an

embarrassing incident. If you feel a WATERMELON coming on, create a diversion. See CAMO-COUGH.

Havana Omelet -- A load of diarrhea that creates a series of loud splashes in the toilet water.

Often accompanied by an escapee. Try using a CAMO-COUGH with an ASTAIRE.

Uncle Ted -- A bathroom user who seems to linger around forever. Could spend extended lengths

of time in front of the mirror or sitting on the pot. An UNCLE TED makes it difficult to relax

while on the c-r-a-p-p-e-r, as you should always wait to drop your load when the bathroom is empty.

This benefits you as well as the other bathroom attendees.

Fly-by -- The act of scouting out a bathroom before pooping. Walk in, check for other poopers.

If there are others in the bathroom, leave, and come back again. Be careful not to become a

FREQUENT FLYER. People may become suspicious if they catch you constantly going into the bathroom.

Crack [censored] -- A c-r-a-p-p-e-r that has seen more ### than a Greyhound Bus. Tell- tale signs of a CRACK [censored]

include pubes, p-i-s-s stains and s-h-i-t streaks. Avoid CRACK [censored]S at all cost. Try finding out when the

janitor cleans each particular bathroom. Don't forget, a CRACK [censored] can become a SAFE HAVEN

Aerotek totally unethical

Brware of this agency.

Hired by Aerotek for a temp-to-perm job at a large financial institution as an administrative assistant. Was on the job for 22 months and there was no permanent job to be had - the position I was in had only been staffed by temps for years prior to my being placed in the position and I was replaced by another temp.

I've worked for a lot of temp agencies over time and this company is totally unethical. Not only do you not get paid holidays or any accrued vacation time based on number of hours worked (read your contract carefully because they will “mislead” you during your interview), but sometimes they neglect to pay you. When they do neglect to pay you, it can take days of phone work trying to reach a person (in my experience, they don’t respond to voice mail messages) and sometimes it takes over a week to get your missing pay, but only if you manage to reach a human so keep trying. Even calling their corporate headquarters in MD will only get you voice mail and your calls aren’t returned.

Aerotek exploits the unemployed in these hard times by paying slave wages and dodging any contact with you, their employee, once they place you at a job. Most “quality” agencies offer paid holidays and accrued vacation time after you work a certain number of hours. Aerotek will tell you that they do, but if you carefully read the contract, there is no mention of it.

If you decide that a low paying job with no benefits or perks is better than no job (that’s the position I was in when hired by Aerotek), be aware up front that you will never receive holiday pay, accrue vacation time or get a raise.

Find another agency, one that respects their employees and treats you with dignity.

I am recently having a very difficult time with Aerotek (Providence, RI office). They required me to provide them with 3 supervisors for references which is not a problem with the 20 years of solid experience I have. What they are doing is using "my" foreman/supervisor references to recruit "them"! They offered "them" jobs! Aerotek has told me (for 2 months) they do "have" open positions that I am "more than capable of" but haven't put me in for any of them. They are just using my contacts for "their" own gain. Luckily my supervisors have warned me! Aerotek in RI are extremely unprofessional and ethical. Do "NOT" make the same mistake I did!

Aerotek full of cr%p

I registered with Aerotek, two hours later had an interview, thirty minutes later had an offer. I was so stoked! Worked my butt off at a job I loved for four months, my manager advised me they were going to hire me in, the next day my Aerotek rep called me to advise that my position was terminated because the host company was terminating their contract with Aerotek. Two days later I talked to a friend who worked at the same place through Aerotek, and was still working. I called Aerotek and they said the reason I was terminated was because of attendance issues. I never missed a day and was never late. When I told them this they said it was disciplinary issues. When I responded that I never once had any problems, they just responded that the host company was unhappy with my performance or conduct. I called the manager who responded that it was an outright lie. Aerotek advised the host company that they had found I had lied on my application and that is why they had terminated me. It was complete BS!

I applied for unemployment and found that I am one day short of eligible, and was told by the agent at the unemployment office that Aerotek has a reputation for this because they get a percentage of their placed employees wages from the host company, higher waged employees are terminated without cause before they are eligible for unemployment so Aerotek can bring in another employee and keep getting paid, and it is all legal.

Thanks Aerotek, hope that little bit of money you're getting is worth taking the food off my kids' plates!

Aerotek totally unprofessional

Was brushed off and insulted by recruiter/ unprofessional ryan horton whom rarely returned my calls, told me inaccurate information pertaining to job start dates, and Mr. Horton also seems to get offended with contacting other recruiters relative towards other positions. If Ryan does return a call it's 2 weeks later and at the end of business day on Friday. His responses are "What's going on now, what's the problem now, you've talked to every other associate in my office." In a inclined tone with sighs. I am only trying to pursue occupation/employment, I am directed to his associate/ aka partner in crime- Trevor and he has me on speaker phone while ryan is immaturely yelling in background like an adolescent child. I asked for the contact to corporate and Trevor refused to assist. Good luck working with such professionally inclined people.

This week alone, I have sent one email and left two messages to get a status update. No one has returned my call. My former recruiter Jeff O'Hara was great and I could get him on the phone or email quickly. He got promoted and now I'm not even sure who would be my recruiter. Very unhappy with the Aerotek office in North Charleston, SC. Very, very unhappy!

Aerotek calling/employment

What I want to know is why do they call you, leave a message for you to call, then they dont return your call? You called me, if you changed your mind about my resume or the position has been filled, say so. Dont make me return YOUR call 3 times and no response. Joanne Alamguer and Justin ? Have done this 2 times to me already. That is not what a professional recruiter should do .

Aerotek bad service

I met Mr. Barish at a job fair at a local community college. I am an electrician and a very big company was hiring and holding their own job fair the next day. Aerotek was not representing this company. But Mr. Barish said he had an in and would get me an interview. He scheduled a meeting between us during this big company's job fair, and told me not to attend; he would take care of things.

A few weeks passed and I had not heard anything. Upon several attempts to contact Mr. Barish he was never available. However, the first time my girlfriend attempted to call him, he answered, then denied all of the "advice" he had given me. He told her his company was no longer representing this other company, that they were now handling their own applications (obvious by the fact that they had held their own job fair!).

I missed a golden opportunity to apply with this company. Though I have sent my resume to them several times, I know I am just going into a pile, that they were considering all of the pre-screen applicants who attended that job fair. Who showed interest. I credit Mr. Barish at messing this up for me. And while I have complained to the company, I have not heard back and I know he still works there. It is apparent to me that he saw his own golden opportunity to cash in on a commission by selling me to this company. Only they weren't interested. If you use this job agency, please request that Scott Barish not assist you.
