I ordered a spa cover. I paid 500.00 dollars and they never sent it. After a year of back and forth I asked for my money to be returned . I filed a complaint with BBB but it seems nothing can be done . They have had my money for over 2 years now. I have over 19 emails documented . They originally told me it would take 6-8 weeks. They blamed it on the shipping and trucking industry but assured me i would receive it. I never did, they have since stopped answering my emails and phone calls. It has been going on over 2 years andI have not received a refund or the product.

Same as everyone. I ordered a spa cover and was scammed. The credit card company will not refund due to length to time. The FL Attorney General, Ashley Moody, has filed a complaint:

I submitted all of my correspondence to the Attorney General's office. We shall see...

Ordered a custom cover for $495.00. Was told it was going to take time to make and deliver. Ordered confirmed 09/27/2022. It’s now 4/5/2023. Order number 159932 payment was taken out. No eta or any shipping information. Calledand emailed to ask about expected time frame. Haven’t heard anything and have not received any emails or replies. When called I’m on hold for 30+ mins with nothing. Now the website is gone and there is no way to contact them. With the number of complaints I’ve seen I’m thinking I’m not going to be getting my order. Refund or my order would be appreciated.

I ordered a spa cover on May 21, 2022; PAID $335.00, and still have not recieved it. I have emails from the company stating delays "dus to covid and supply chain" and "guaranteed" for March 2023 delivery. Here it is, April 3, 2023 and NOTHING

I ordered a hot tub cover on November 8, 2022. Money was withdrawn from my account. Only got one response asking if I wanted to upgrade on November 10th 2022. I had used this company before with no problem. Tried calling with no answer several times. Then found out about the lawsuit in December when website was taken down and phone line was suspended. I paid $375.

September 6, 2021, order number 131382, order a spa cover, they stated I would receive in 6 weeks, 6 weeks here and gone, spoke with representative, due to shortage of material was back ordered till February of 2022, than back ordered till May 2022, requested refund, did not receive, called and sent emails no response, than I received email will be sent out March of 2023, called for a delivery date no response, sent email and once again no response.

I ordered and paid for a hot tub cover on 9/1/2021. When it was not delivered by November as promised I called the company. They stated it was delayed and would be delivered between Jan and April. It never came. Next call and they said it would come in September a year later. I asked to cancel my order for full refund. They said money would be sent in November. Never came. Called and emailed and they stated it was delayed because their bank account was hacked and once resolved they would send check. Obviously it never came and was going to call today to check when i saw that there is a lawsuit against them. Good. I would like to get my money back for order #131000

I ordered a spa cover - Order #161187 on 10/14/22. Indicated 6-8 week delivery. In February 2023, I started contacting Affordable Spas through emails and left many messages as wanted estimated delivery day - neither ever returned. Contacted my credit card company and attempted to get refund - they indicated it was not reported in 2 months so no refund. Interested in lawsuit against these people!

I ordered a spa cover last year 3/18/2022 my order I’d is 146074. I didn’t receive it so I called back 8/3/2022 I was told that it would leave there facility the month of nov 2022 if not sooner due to a shortage of supplies this was sent by joanna v on 12/17/2022 I wrote a email to the company stating I still have not received my cover with no response.

We ordered a spa cover on 5/2/2022 expecting delivery within 3 months. I was able to speak with a person on or about August 2022 who said it would be November before it was in production. Since that time, I have been unable to reach the company via phone or email. My last communication from them was received on 12/9/2022 when I received an email saying the product would finally be delivered at the end of December or early January. Now March and no response from the company. (order #149895)

I ordered my cover 8 months ago. I called and they said it would be a little longer to get the material they needed. I called and again she said it would be in March. I called again and their phone number is not excepting calls, and there web site is down. I can not look at my account to change my address nor request a refund of over 455.00 dollars. I saw were the attorney generals office is looking into this company.

I ordered a hot tub cover and hot tub cover lifter on 3/16/22 with order number 145869. The website stated that it would be delivered between 12-16 weeks. After contacting the company several times over many months, I received the hot tub cover on 10/20/22. They did not send the hot tub cover lifter and I paid for both in March 2022. I sent an email on 10/21/22 stating that my hot tub cover lifter was not included in the shipment that I received on 10/20/22 and they told me that it was not in stock and would take 3 more weeks to deliver. I responded that I found that hard to believe that it was out of stock for over 7 months and they could not order it to send it with the cover. I asked them to order it immediately and ship it. I still have not received it and it looks like they have gone out of business online. Their phone number is no longer in service either.

I place $669 order for hot tub cover on-line April 8, 2022.
16 week delivery came & went
I finally got thru to someone in August and was told 16 week was expedited delivery and mine wouldn't be delivered until October
No delivery in October so I began contacting company in November via e-mail & phone messages.
When I finally heard back they said end of February delivery.
I said no, full refund. They said refund check would be sent in 3-5 weeks
Never received.
Complaints with BBB & Florida AG office offered sympathy but nothing tangible
Fraud protection thru Capital One Mastercard was useless
Now I'm going to try AG lawyer referal and Small Claims Court
Not much hope as website has gone away

I followed up with a phone call 3 months later and talked to a rude and somewhat abusive woman. At the time I shoaled have cancelled the order and started legal action to recover my payment but thought I'd better ride it out to get the cover. I followed up again With a request for information on my order and received the following response:

Hello, we are sorry for the late response.

Your order is expected to go out from our facility between JAN-FEB, 2023. Due to shortage of supplies, we have fallen behind on our production times. Please be aware that we are doing our best to get your cover ready and send out to you as soon as possible. You will receive a tracking number once your order is on its way. Please follow the shipping instructions listed below as to how to handle the delivery of your cover. Should you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

VERY IMPORTANT. After you get the shipping notice and you see the cover is in the local terminal, schedule the delivery with the carrier. When they bring the cover, take it out of the box and inspect it for damage. If it is not damaged, sign for it and keep it. IF it is damaged, reject it, give it back to the driver, sign the receipt Damaged refused and give us a call. There are additional instructions and in your delivery information below. Please read it carefully. If you have any further questions, please give us a call.

If it does ship with Forward Air, they will deliver your cover with no signature required. If the cover is not damaged, keep it. If a forklift has damaged it on the top or bottom of the cover, send us pictures right away, and we will contact Forward Air and send you a new cover.

Further attempts to communicate with this vendor have been ignored and I see now that the are in litigation with the State of Florida.

I purchased a spa cover on 8/22/22 and never received it. Payment of $469.00 was taken immediately. Based on the site at the time it was free shipping and fast delivery. I placed a call to Affordable Spa Covers at the end of September and was told it would be delivered in February based on the availability of product. I placed a call on February 27 to find out the number is temporarily unavailable. I went to the site to find out it was gone. Now reading the complaints I understand why. Not money well spent. should have done more research.

I used this company in 2015 and I had a great experience. So I decided to order again as covers do need to be replaced every 5-7 years. I ordered online but called to confirm the expected delivery date as I had some upcoming travel. I was told it was 12-16 weeks for delivery. I called a few times during that 12-16 week time frame to check on my order. I never got a call back from the company and I began to think my order was delayed by hurricane Ian that caused much damage in the Clearwater Florida area where I believed their factory was located. I did in the meantime speak to my credit card company and started a dispute on January 3rd.2023. I have not received a credit from Comenity Bank as they keep saying they need more info that I am providing to them in full this week. I still have not received my order. The company’s phone number is disconnected now as well.

I ordered a spa cover from Affordable Spa Covers on 4/15/22 and paid $385.00. I was told it would take 16-20 weeks to get it. I called in June and was told there was a foam shortage due to COVID and it was delayed due to that. I emailed in October and was told I would get it March 2023. I have not gotten it and now their phone and website is down. I also see a lot of other complaints about this company. How can I go about getting a refund?

Ordered spa cover on August 30th, 2022. No spa cover delivered to date (February, 21st, 2023), no response to my last four emails other than my first request on November 25th, 2022, no answer to any of my calls, their website is not working... I assume shutdown. The November 25th request for infor just pushed me off another 12 weeks. I will be disputing the charges with my credit card company tomorrow.

I Placed my order in May of 2021. They said six months, after 18 months of excuses after excuses, I canceled my Order in September 2022. They said that they could not refund my credit card, and would mail a check in a month. Again, I got the run around, they said that their bank account had been compromised, and that I should expect to see the check in January 2023. Now No one answers the phone, you can't leave a message, and my e-mails go unanswered. $485 just gone...I would also like to be apart of this class action lawsuit.

Ordered my cover May 2022, called July 2022 and actually got someone on the phone, She told me delivery would take 6 months, which would have been November 2022, started calling in December 2022 through February 2023 no answer and now the WEB site is down. Is my $469 gone. how is it possible that the exceptional America could allow this con game to go on..
