I requested the bank to cancek my credit card on 28th September and was told it will take 7 working days to cancel. Since not much action was taken in the intial week, I started calling and making several follow up daily to make sure that my card is closed in due time. Almost every call I did daily which were twice or thrice I was told that once the card is cancelled I will reaceive a message that the case is closed and then I can proceed to the branch and fetch a clearance letter. Upon going to the branch after the cancellation confirmation over the phone today, I am told that I need to wait 45 days for clearance letter and the bank camt issue neither can they confirm by email or message that the card is closed. The customer care team has no knowledge of the process at all and cant help us with the status. None of the staff has the ability to solve the issue infact they just wash their hands from it by repeating the same statement. Worse ever experience I have had and will never get involved with their deals ever.
