I had given my Mitsubishi Pajero car yesterday -19th August, 2023 to the Al Habtoor Motors in Al Quoz for the 27 point check and instead of the check up they broke my gear panel!
The service manager - Mr. Vincent mentioned that the part is brittle and it may have broken due to that! This is totally unacceptable. When I gave my car yesterday it was perfectly intact. There was no damage at all. The service center guys have caused physical damage to my car and what is alarming and shocking is their response is that the part is brittle so it broke! The staff have broken this during the service. I can’t believe such poor levels of service exists in todays day and age. At the minimum, It is the responsibility of the service center to return my car without causing any physical damage but they have failed to do so.
The team at the service center were unapologetic and unprofessional. They were trying to wash their hands off and did not seem to care about the damage caused to my car.
As of today, 4.30 pm on 20th August - They have taken a complaint and I am hoping that the Sevice manager Mr. Vincent will do something to coordinate and fix the issue . I have also spoken to Ms. Marina from the call center. I expect this issue to be fixed at the earliest.
