My supervisor Dale Campbell called me today after i called out for my own reasons and when i didn't answer my phone he proceeded to text me and i told him why i wasn't going to be there out of respect but then he text me again and tells me my reasons for calling off is not worth of a call off. they are my reasons. if he wanted to talk to me he could have waited until i was back at work. the way he went about this is very unprofessional.

Allied Universal / Aus.com theft of property by security guards.

Over a period of time our Cafe was being systematically robbed from as small as a banana to bags of prepared food from various security guards employed by Allied Universal. Our cafe is located in a business building with 24 hour security that has access to all the offices but are instructed to never enter a tenants premises unless in case of emergency.
We reported the observance of missing food stores to the resident supervisor and was insured that he would review camera footage and then speak with his staff. He reported no occurrences were recorded on the security cameras but did talk to his staff. After talking to the building manager she replied that nothing had been reported in the logs about any complaint of theft which is strange as I thought that would be a priority log entry when a tenant reports a break in and theft of property.
With the help of the building manager a camera was placed in our area unknown to the security staff. Within 24 hours a security guard was caught on tape as was bagging meat from a cooler into a plastic bag.
This has been an ongoing problem and after piecing together and talking with the chefs and workers a clearer picture of major losses of meats, breads, produce and prepared product intended to be sold to consumers. In addition wages lost of have to clean up messes and remake prepared foods to replace stolen items.
It seems to have become rampant as the security guard that was caught on tape reported that he was told by another security guard it was okay to enter or cafe at night with their pass key.
It has been 2 weeks and not once did the local area supervisor reach out to offer apologies or compensation so we have decided to reach out above the local supervisor and talk to someone higher.
I email the local supervisor for contact information and hit a brick wall as he would only say he was the one to contact and not answer if he was authorized to compensate us for our losses from a security company being paid to prevent such losses.
We would like to settle away from any legal and/or media participation but I need to talk with someone authorized to finalize any agreement.

Allied Universal / Aus.com tony nelson

Tony Nelson is slandering my name he works in San Diego. I'm receiving calls from my former co workers that Tony is slandering my name and character. I filed a 6 page harrasment letter to HR and he still continued the harassment. I worked over 10 years with Allied and I was treated very unfair by Tony Nelson and his unprofessional practices. I worked as an account manager for 7 years with Allied before recently moving to Texas

Allied Universal / Aus.com poor treatment as an allied universal staff

I apologise for any inconveniences I may cause, my name is Devante Washington...I'm a rover with Allied Security...been having many issues with the company like today have been trying to work with the company for about two months...even through all the employee emotional abuse that I'm terrified of even exposing and no longer feel comfortable working with the company due to the fact that my issues with being with allied is never resolved in a satisfiable nor professional manner, so I'd like to resign as of today for Allied Universal. I'd like to personally thank you guys for the opportunity to work with your company even though this is a very uncomfortable post of being at.
Sincerely with love, Devante Washington, former Allied Universal security. Employee number 9032512.

Allied Universal / Aus.com unethical behaviour

On May 29, 2019 at 9:39pm. after trying to reach my supervisor Ms Buxton at Wyndham Kingsgate property in Williamsburg, VA by phone I text message her to inform her that I was unable to come into work the 8x4 shift for the next day. I called the security phone at Kingsgate at 9:48pm and notified the "Team Leader" who was on shift. I was informed that they attempted to reach out but got no response. This is also not the first that she has been unreachable for work related situations. On a separate occasion when I witnessed a conversation with Ms.Buxton and another employee, she was advised that there was a power outage and the shift tried to reach her. She responded by saying "I have a life outside of this job."

On May 30, 2019 at 6:32am, I received a text from Buxton informing me that I needed to come in to work my shift. At that point I felt my job may have been at stake and came to work anyway. On page 16 of the handbook, It is stated that proper call out procedure is at least 4 hours before the designated shift begins. The following week, I was cut down to 32 hours, while other employees were schedule to work 48 hours putting them in overtime. While working with Buxton on June 3rd between 1:30 and 2:00pm, She left and went home early do to personal reasons. I can't recall if she clocked out or not, but I was left to run the site by myself and just hoped that activities center didn't call for anything.

On June 15, 2019, I reached out to Buxton on regards of the schedule. I noticed that there was no 2nd person to work the 4-12 shift. I informed her that I would do the 4-12 shift if she needed me to. buxton stated that she left the shift open because she planned on taking the shift if she couldn't find anyone. She stated I would be working pool duty even though she had somebody scheduled for that position. I informed her I would be losing an hour doing that duty because I was already there doing an 8-4 and pool duty is 8-11. She responded saying she know what she was doing. I was still going to get paid doing 16 hours because it was based on shift work and not hours, and to "stay in my lane." She also told me not to text her phone if it's not work related. Overall being very unprofessional while I was being nothing but professional. She has taken a day from me which was a thursday for which I always worked since I started this site. When I asked her about it, she stated that she didn't have anywhere to put me. Prior to this, I was always scheduled off Tuesdays and Wednesday. She has now included Thursday after this situation. This has become an on and off issue with Buxton and at this point I just want to bring it to your attention because I tried speaking to her privately to resolve any issues as well as with a co worker present. On those occasions, she stated that there were no issues, but afterwards my work schedule is always affected. On page 30 in the Handbook, it states that Work place retaliation is frowned upon. This has become a very hostile environment due to Buxton. I have reached out to Sara Sherman and William New and haven't received a response from either of them.

I started working for Allied Universal in March of 2018. I noticed in the system it shows my payroll checks started in June of 2018, there's a 2 month gap. In the system. In the past it was correct in showing my checks started in March of 2018, which in turn would make me eligible for a 1 year anniversary bonus, but unfortunately I haven't received yet and...

Allied Universal / Aus.com non payment of hours

I started with the company February 22 this year. First check correct payment for one day . Second check I was shorted 9.75in hours. I spoke to supervisor, service manager, and District manager . Everybody has been constantly saying I got you. To me this is very sad and unprofessional to old an employee pay since March and this is June and to know that you still have not paid the employee. I've been told if I go through department of labor relations I can be terminated. But why these are hours I worked and I have proof and the do too so why not pay me. Holiday pay is a joke with this company. I just want my 9.75 hours owed to me. Can't call office they hang up on me so professional. Call service manager no longer with the company.

Allied Universal / Aus.com front desk guard

It's legal to photograph videotape anything and anyone on any public property.

On 5/22/2019, at 4:51PM, I entered the Health Department in Delray Beach, FL.
Once in the lobby, I announced myself to the Allied Universal personnel and a unknown employee seated at the front desk, to say that my purpose for being there was to film the lobby. He responded by quoting policy, saying I needed permission, and said "NO". I then responded by asking him what law was I violating. 'Being that the building closing in 5 minutes- I began filming. He then threatened me with arrest- saying he would call the sheriff on me. In addition, As I was gathering B footage, I could hear him harassing me loudly, shouting "He's Crazy for filming the building. These insults could be heard through the entire lobby. I didn't insult him. I simply relied on my Freedom of Press 1st Amendment to protect me and my liberties. He did not have a visible name tag/ plate. He's a heavy-set African American male, boarding on obese. I believe he deprived me of my right to gather information in public, freedom of press. For posterity purposes, I'm now interested on knowing the training of Allied Universal guards with respect to media/ public photography.

Since Allied Universal is contracted by the County of Palm Beach, your standard of professionalism can be vetted, and put under critical examination. Your employee did not treat me with "care" and respect- which are words directly from your mission statement.

Allied Universal / Aus.com taylor roberson

This matter is concerning a security office by the name of Taylor Roberson. This employee was very rude and disrespectful when I asked her a question. I tired to remove myself from the situation and walk away, but as I was doing so Ms. Roberson began cursing at me and calling me racial slurs. I'm feel very disrespected and and quite frankly shocked at the actions of this employee.

Allied Universal / Aus.com mistreating employee

I have been with the AUS for about 8 months and at the beginning everything was good. I loved goin to work, recently I took leave without pay and I told them I will be back to on the 13th of this month. Upon returning, they didnt put me on schedule for a whole week. Secondly, they changed my site to somewhere I never agreed to go to. Lastly they went cut my hours from 40hrs per week to 16 hrs per week. I really dont understand why they would do something like this . Field Supervisors dont care about the guards, they only act nice to the guards when they need help covering for other sites. They lack communication within their team and also with management. They ignore calls when the guards call for help. VERY UNORGANIZED AND SLOPPY PEOPLE. They do favortism and it shows through the unfairness of what they do each day and night.

Allied Universal / Aus.com employment pay

My name is Michael Young and I have been an employee of Allied Universal out of the Woodland Hills branch for about 7 months now. Though it wasn't an easy start at the company considering they barely accommodated me with hours that worked with my schedule; I have two permanent posts now that I have been working at for the past 2 months. Allied doesn't pay very well so I have to work every day of the week (no days off) in order to support myself and my family. I'm able to tolerate these hours knowing I am going to get paid for them. However, the past two paychecks did not deposit to my account. When I addressed it the first time with my field supervisor she took a while to get back to me and assure me that the matter was being handled. They then had a physical check written up for me to come pick up and assured me that this situation would not happen again. The next following week rolls by, and I checked my account and noticed I did not get paid again. You can understand my frustration after working everyday day of the week and not having any paycheck to show for it especially when I have bills that need to come out of my account throughout the month. When I addressed the issue, yet again, my field supervisor ignored my calls and my texts until I repeatedly called the office and they finally put me through to her. Still not giving me any explanation for the reasoning for this mishap, she informed me that they can't write another check, and that I will have to wait another 5 days for my paycheck to deposit. I explained that I have bills to pay, and she said unfortunately there wasn't anything else she could do.
Now I'm a very understanding person, and I can understand that mistakes happen, but when the same exact mistake happens 2 weeks in a row with still no explanation to me as to why, my patience starts to grow thin. And when I ask the office for the contact information to Human Resources, I should be provided with that information.
I checked my email and saw an Exit Survey and I realized what their mistake was. They took me out of the system as an employee as if I had quit.
I am still an employee however, and I want to inform you of this situation so it can be addressed professionally, and I can be assured of better working conditions.
Thank you and have a great day.

Thank you,
Officer Michael Young (employee I.D.#847774)

This is the second time in 1 year that my pay has been wrong. Not missing 1 or 2 hours, but 36-40 hours each time. I'm tired of it. It causes late fees and headaches. Not to mention that I get taxed twice when this happens. Notice that there's never a discrepancy with management's pay. Then have the audacity to tell you that you have to wait until the...

Allied Universal / Aus.com mistreatment from a security officer

Hello,
I am an employee at a Patrick Henry Mall located in Newport News, Virginia. The Mall has a security department that is associated with Allied Universal. One of the mid- aged female Lieutenant officer have made me feel very uncomfortable after a mistreated gesture that felt like a threat. I do not personally know her to be pointed by a finger treating me as if I was her child and the conversation, almost like a statement she made was very rude and disrespectful. Again, I do not know her background but she was a recent hired member that was promoted after few months. If she is capable of being promoted by her work ethics, I can't understand why would she treat a person with rude and disrespectful manner. I am very disappointed by the treatment and feel discouraged to come to work. Thank you for reading my complaint and I hope you have a great day.
