Allstate Insurance Home Owners insurance

I am A first time home buyer and was very excited to move into my Freshly renovated home on May 27th, 2022. Unfortunately, a pipe busted in-between my downstairs bedroom and bathroom in June, and this resulted in the entire in-law suite being flooded, as well as furniture and many electronics being declared A total Loss by several reputable loss prevention, electronics repair companies. The restoration estimate is over $10,000 and was quoted to me by empire flooring and other licensed home restoration companies whereas the quote was sent to Allstate. I was offered a check for $1,700. Despite the vinyl flooring being flooded, the adjuster stated they would rather Re-Install it rather than replace it, he stated this multiple times with me over the phone even though I had the water mitigation specialists tell me otherwise. The vinyl flooring is completely unsalvageable and Allstate's Claim Adjuster at the time refused to replace it, until his manager was notified of the problem. Currently the piping in between the sheet rock which was damaged by the burst pipe are exposed through a huge hole in the wall caused by the water. According to my homeowner policy provided to me by Allstate, anything that was damaged by the water would be either replaced or fixed. It is now well over a month and my claim adjuster has been in search of personal contractors that they would rather have quote him personally for the work that would need to be done to make my in-law suite whole again. The issue! no one has yet to contact me, and my adjuster still believes that the work can be completed for $1700 with the vinyl floor being replaced for a similar quality vinyl floor. Now I’m certainly no logistic guru but, I would love to see the licensed company he approves to do all this work for $1700 filmed and documented for quality purposes for claim# [protected]!

My adjuster hardly ever responds to my calls and neither does his manager anymore, both probably frustrated with me for calling them every two days asking for an update on my case or informing them that their third-party contractors have failed to contact me still. It is the adjuster's job to deny or come in low, but the homeowner should still be adequately protected, but I could be wrong on this too, it may possibly be my responsibility to take care of my own losses while paying a company to carry on the “persona” of providing me home insurance. Either way I have had some great insurance companies that treated me WAAAY better than Allstate, guess this is what I deserve for believing in the “you’re In Good Hands” slogan. This by far has been a horrible experience, and I will be informing my future homeowner friends and family to “STAY AWAY” from Allstate!

I am in the process of selling a few of my working possessions to resolve this issue myself, Allstate if you could please return my past month payments that would be greatly appreciated THANK YOU!

Allstate Insurance You are NOT in “Good Hands” with Allstate - Water Damage

Our 2nd floor AC unit caused damage on June 13th, 2022.  This resulted in damage to the floors upstairs and downstairs, as well as the ceiling.  The restoration cost over $4000 and was sent by Allstate.  As a result of my high deductible, they were unable to cover the costs.  Due to this, I would have to pay them.  I was offered a check for $1,300.00.  Despite the carpet unraveling, the adjuster stated they would steam clean it instead of replacing it.  Moreover, the Restoration company cut the carpet in the middle of the room with a large leave seam to remove the padding.  The carpet unsalvageable and Allstate is refusing to replace it.  The piping and vents in my ceiling are exposed through a huge hole in the ceiling.  It is my prayer that nothing falls and hurts anyone in my home as they are likely to deny that claim as well.  It is a dangerous area.  As long as the hole in my ceiling is not covered, I cannot live in the house.  I have a month to prove the damages are greater than what the adjuster quoted for claim [protected] after the damage occurred a month ago.

Clifford, the adjuster, takes a long time to respond to calls.  It is the adjuster's job to deny or come in low, but the homeowner should still be adequately protected. There are some insurance companies that treat their customers better than Allstate.  It has been a horrible experience.

I am in the process of having an independent contractor provide me an estimate of repairs that I will be submitting to Allstate for a true estimate for repairs.

Over the past nine years, we have had Allstate homeowners insurance.  They claim to be in "Good hands," but that's not true.  This needs to be removed from their logo. When your home is damaged, homeowners insurance is supposed to ease your financial stress. In spite of this, our claim settlement offer for the June 13, 2022 water damage incident falls far short of our expectations, leaving us more frustrated than ever.  My recommendation is not to use Allstate Insurance.  As a result of talking with friends and contractors, they state Allstate has the least payout and the most hassle.  Now that we are witnesses, we are looking for a new company to handle our homeowner's issues with the utmost consideration.

Desired outcome: We need a fair reimbursement for the repairs caused by the damage of our AC unit by a 3rd party contractor.

Allstate Insurance Unauthorized payment

I was policy holder of all state since Feb 2022, after 2 months by monthly payment increased to double without i signing up for anything.

I am trying to contact my agent for months and he did not reply back.

I am looking for my refund but nobody replies as soon as i talk about refund.

My agent was Syed Raza and he is not replying back.

Please help me to get my refund back.

Allstate Insurance Road Side Assitance

I am writing this complaint regarding my experience on Thursday, 30 June with All State Road Side Assistance. I made an initial call @ 3:57 PM to the assistance number [protected]). I was directed to download the APP for faster. I did not want to do that so I stayed on the line to speak with a PERSON. My call was dropped. I tried to call again and after multiple times and almost 20 minutes later, I was able to speak with a PERSON.

I began to receive a text message around 4:26pm to track my location. The next text came @ 4:30 pm to track the road side assistance. I received at text @ 4:30 pm stating, “We’re finding the best nearby rescuer. At times, this can take up to 15 minutes. We appreciate your patience and please stay safe.” I was also following online with the tracking link that was provided.

At 4:37pm, I received another text message stating, “Due to labor shortage in your area, finding a rescuer is taking longer than normal. Rest assure we will provide details shortly.” Around 5pm, I clicked on the tracking link to get an update and request to chat. The message was similar about the labor shortage.

@ 5:13 pm, I decided to call the 1-800 number again to get more information. This was another frustrating and disappointing call. I was told that I was allowed $100 for the tow and the only company that was available was charging $175. I would be responsible for the additional $75. Really?

Really? Since All State has a labor shortage, I am too be penalized for your failure to plan. I thought that I was planning ahead by purchasing this emergency service.

At this point, I realize that this point is moot. I have been on the side of the road for an hour. The quickest time that would have a tow service was an estimated time range between 6:35pm and 7:05pm. Wow! This means that I would have been on the side of the road for more than 3hrs before a tow truck came to assist me.

This is unacceptable customer service. I have worked in customer facing careers and when you value your customers and their business you eat certain things. Meaning, you take the additional cost or charges on and not pass it along to your customer.

Actions speak louder than words. Your actions demonstrated that All State does NOT value me as a customer nor do you value my business. I have had my home insurance with ALL State since 2017 and my car insurance since last September 2021.

I will be looking for new insurance for both my car and home. Even though my home insurance was paid on 27 June, I do not want to do any business with you anymore. And, I will be transferring my home insurance over to a new company as soon as I possibly can.

Allstate Insurance Drivewise

Supposedly this app will save you money. But, when you start to save more than 12% the program will "make up" data.

Supposedly 2 weeks ago I drove 147.7 miles between 11:00 pm and 5:00 am. I went through every logged trip for the last 2 years, and in fact I drove exactly 9.7 miles during those hours. So the analysis says I made this trip, but the actual trip logs show I didn't.

Further, I haven't driven anywhere over 100 miles in a single day in the last 3 months, so somehow my phone magically went on an overnight trip of over 100 miles in duration.

And, of course, my "rebate" went from 15 to 12%.

Complaints to the company resulted in being told how the program works (40 years in IT, I could write the program in 20 minutes). No acknowledgement of the problem nor any attempt to fix.

On a small positive note, for the last 3 months I haven't managed to record any "sudden stops" while my phone was in my pocket at home. After a month of complaints that was finally removed, though the rebate level was never restored.

From my perspective, it looks like a scam. My higher rebate, just by coincidence, went down right before my insurance renewal. Second time this has happened.

Desired outcome: Remove obviously false data (if there's NO trip, I can't have driven 100 miles). And restore previous rebate levels.

Allstate offers a discount to use Drivewise but their app is totally defective. If you look at Google play it has multiple one star ratings listing all the issues. It rarely if ever logs in my trips but seems to log in ONLY when I may do something wrong most of time false information re I was using my phone when I was not. It is very deceiving to offer a discount and then provide an app that rarely works. I have complained multiple times to my agent and directly to Drivewise and they blame me! I am very tech savvy and have loaded reloaded multiple times. THE APP DOES NOT WORK. It feels like fraud to me or at least a very, very deceptive practice.

Allstate Insurance Purchased a paint and appearance policy on a new harley and they have denied my claim after being a loyal customer for over 30 yrs.

Went to wash my 2021 cvo harley which ihad only owned for 4 weeks - went to wash it and a bubble formed on my fairing - I stopped and dried it off and saw that there was clearcoat that had came off - took it to the closest dealer and turned it in - guy came from allstate and claimed it was a rock chip and denied the claim - called allstate and they didn't want to talk about it.

Allstate Insurance Car insurance

I had the worst experience with Allstate insurance, someone hit my car, but allstate changed my information and used my wife information, even the police report did the same at the end I found out they're works together Allstate is paying money to some authorities to manipulate the claims in other words, the corruption is the factor number one, they make some payments to people who doesn't exist to protect the corrupt agents im still waiting for one answer about my claim but I contacted the claim manager and had answer was she knew they made a big mistake but can't pay the same claim twice even if is the admitted the error, I los everything passport, money, work equipment, there own workers disagreed about that.

Desired outcome: I asked them $50,000 thousands because in their shop stole everything if they don't paying me we already talking about .

Allstate Insurance Vehicle insurance claim

COMPALAINT AGAINST ALLSTATE INSURANCE: CLAIM # [protected]

My son was involved in an accident on 5/12/2022 while driving my Honda Accord 2009 with my permission. The lady driving the other car thought she was hit by my son and said she would call the police to the scene. My son was agreeable since he knew I had insurance with Direct Auto. For some strange reason she decided to leave the scene heading to Mercedes Benz auto shop before the police arrived, My son stayed hoping the police would show up till he decided to get the car towed away to our house. The other driver never returned despite the offer from the store owner who witnessed the accident who offered to call the police. That was very suspicious,

Fast forward my son was interviewed by an agent from Prudential to account for what happened. He described everything and advised the agent about the “call o the police” that never happened. The other driver claimed she had called the police. I received the letter from Prudential followed by a telephone call that was answered by my son. He again narrated his story about the accident.

On June 7th, 2022, I received a call from Shanese Baker asking me questions about my car. I explained that my son already told his story and I was not there and therefore cannot shed any more light to the story. Then I asked about the telephone call by their client if it did happen and if there was a record of the police refusing to attend the scene of the accident. Surprisingly she told me that the police refused to attend the accident scene. I told her that was unheard of and happens in very rare situations and not in car accident. I aske if she had a record of the call but said that is up the complainant. I told her the client lied about the call and left the car accident scene unceremoniously which was a red flag to me.

Allstate based their decision not to pay for my car damages based on their own assessment of the pictures presented to them and NOT from the police report. There was no report made and the client misrepresented the facts, and we assume that is the reason she left the accident scene.

That is a bad way of making decisions if drivers remove the cars from the scene without calling the police and then file a claim. We need to see the record of the call the police refused to respond to and probably get to the bottom of this case, A possible fraud was committed by your insurance agency, and we will hire an attorney to help us get counsel on this case. The defendants are the other driver named ACE THREE LLC and Allstate Insurance.

Most likely present this letter to the local news and other local station on the ,malpractice by Allstate Insurance. People need to know that at times the law us broken by the same insurance companies meant to cover us in the event of such accidents.

Kindly reply and advise how you intend to handle this complaint.

Allstate Insurance homeonwers

Under the Allstate Homeowners Deluxe No. 2 I am covered for catastrophic perils which Allstate has indicated to Lexus Nexus that this is the case.

Almost a year, gone through Illinois Department of Insurance hearing and post briefing(curiously the director of DOI is former Allstate exec for almost 20 years-she signed off on both). I am getting sicker every day from black mold infestation, my dog died because of it. They are supposed to evacuate, provide temporary housing, repair or relocate me.

All they have done is choose to non-renew, with two black marks on Lexus Nexus against me(one is simply called "suit papers," can not get any explanation of what this means. Even under last chance Illinois FAIR I cannot get coverage. Next steps...more litigation-I will be dead before this is settled.

CC's to CEO and chief claims officer in Northbrook, IL presumably received as haven't been bounced back to me.

Need help, please!

Allstate Insurance Allstate homeowners insurance claim

Filed a claim about a leak in my roof last year, was denied. Said roof was fin, resulted in me spending $2700. for a new roof , guess it was not fine. Have considerable water damage to ceiling, asked about having that fixed. Joann would call within 48 hrs., didn't happen. Called again, Joann turned it over to Manuel who would call within 48 hrs. Did not happen. Two weeks and still out 2700 and a ceiling in need of repair.

You would think they would at least have the decency to call, text, smoke signal, e mail or write. My job for today is find a better insurance company.

Allstate Insurance Most corrupt company now - rated worst in usa of all ins. Companies

On 5/30/2022 severe wind storm thru soffits on back of home, blew off commercial grade (20-40 yr.) rolled tar roof installed 2009/10. Whole roof covers approx 12'x36' of home (spa room+patio), was peeled back exposes 12'x12' of covered patio, destroys soffits this area. Allstate Chaos/delays caused $6,000 to evolve into >$30k damage.

5/31 file claim. I'm disable, run over by drunk driver as teen, as adult caused knee replaces, hips needed, femoral plate, fusions in spine, many surgeries. Disabled since 2009, unable to work. On pain meds (Methadone) 28 years under monthly Anesthesiologist care. Significantly limits daily mobility+care for self. Also caretake for 94-yr old mother, she was very sick at this time, signed document to provide Construction Contractor, Roberto Brito of Vantage Point to work on my behalf with Allstate. Allstate approved, sent someone to take pictures, Roberto and I both met them, adjuster says on Sunday will get pics from Roberto Monday and claim is finished. 3 wks later, Roberto sent pictures twice, response from adjuster, is same as 3 wks prior, "waiting for pictures, claim almost done". 5 weeks after claim filed, still lno pictures. Call my agent, internal claims team fired, new team assigned. Adjuster is Chris Sherrer. Says has all damaged covered except roof. With me on phone, told me he is looking at pictures as far back as Aug 2016, says he can see edges of roof flipped up, because of lack of maintenance, may not cover roof, but definitely will cover garage, patio interior home damage. I told him I had a claim exactly Aug 2016 Allstate approved, he 1st not find old claim. Was using this old pic against me. After found the claim showing I had 3600+ sf of roof + Allstate only cover 3100 sf, he saw Allstate approved this 20-40 yr roof back then and it hasn't changed since. Occasionally metal stripping comes loose and I nail it back on. He has a pic of 1 wk it was hanging so says lack of maintenance, not honoring claim.

Desired outcome: I want full repairs. A picture they try to use to deny claims is proof they approved its condition from a claim the same date.

Not much room allowed to tell your story, but I understand it needs to be limited. There's a lot of water under this bridge. Bottomline: Allstate tried to use an old picture to say my roof was damaged in 2016 and didn't know I had filed a claim they paid for everything except this commercial 20-40 yr rating flat roof that was only 12-13 years old. After he was able to find this claim, he now says he won't cover any of the damage. Their delays caused an $8k job to balloon into over $30k. I will get a lawyer if they decide not to be honorable in this and will win.

Allstate Insurance Not covering our car once we made a accident claim

This is the worst customer service ever we pay full coverage and they don’t even fully cover my expenses or my vehicle once we made a car accident claim, the adjuster Jose Ayala forcing my wife to take a check and not even giving us an option to fix our car when it is DRIVABLE and acts very unprofessional and don’t want to work with you and while we trying to talk to him, he ends up hanging up on us because of our disagreement over the pricing our car to get it fixed. This is the only insurance we have ever had problems with very unprofessional to hang up on us and they took a whole month to contact us for the claim our rental is up and won’t even want to extent our rental when it’s there fault no car no check and have 2 kids! Just horrible! Idk why we switch over we are definitely switching to another company! To top it off we can’t even get a supervisor to contact us and we asked to speak with someone else no one still has not contacted us what a shame! Very disappointing

Desired outcome: We would like to speak with a supervisor about the unprofessional adjuster disrespect and disregard for anything we had to say and settle this claim and extend our rental till we are able to get the check so we can get another vehicle

Allstate Insurance Drivewise

I was told that, as soon as I downloaded Drivewise, I would receive 10% refund on my present $600 policy. I wanted to do this because my new six month bill was $710. It never appeared, so i kept asking and was told the 10% refund would not come until I renewed my $710. when that money never appeared, i called again and was told it would be a credit on the future bill. That means if I change insurance, i will never get any money back.

Allstate Insurance Kenneth Clarks Allstate Agency and Lindsey Britt Conduct

This agency owner, Kenneth Clark is not only never present at this location but is trying to put the agency in his step mothers name but he will keep control of the agency while holding his realtors license and operating other companies like a Goosehead Agency he purchased in his son's name. Not only is this happening but his only agent in the office, Lindsey Britt is selling for Eric Phillips, a local broker under the table and he's paying her outside of the Allstate agency as well. When they can't write a policy she is writing these policies with the use of her personal iPad that she keeps in the agency. She has left the office to take people to Eric's office for payment and get these policies written. I know for a fact this is not acceptable by Allstate. Mr Clark has been told to sell this agency and he still has the doors open when Lindsey is there. Lindsey leaves this office many times a day, takes an average of 6 smoke breaks at 10-15 min each out back, leaves daily to pick up her son from school at 2:55 and gets back roughly at 3:35 and hides her son in one of the offices in the rear of the building. BOTH of these folks are not running this agency properly nor are in compliance with Allstate. I know these things because I worked there and since I didn't agree with how they were running it I was fired! I want to remain anonamous but the Dept of Insurance needs to be aware. They both need to lose their insurance license. Mr Clark not only made false promises to me to get me to move here from my home state in Colorado in September 2021 but he also sold me my home which is also not allowed by Allstate I'm told. I am now looking to return to Colorado but I was made promises and when I asked him about his sneaky business and her's I was fired. Unacceptable and I was told by other agents to report this using iReport but I couldn't find the correct link so I do hope you will look into this. Mr Clark is very sneaky and he's used to getting out of situations like this but he IS doing bad things and he's not in compliance nor is Lindsey Britt.

Desired outcome: I feel Mr Clark should lose this agency and Lindsey Britt should lose her Insurance License due to them selling for other companies while in an Allstate Agency

Allstate Insurance Withdrawing money/claims

I was referred to Allstate due to my premium increase. Thought I would give them a try. Never again will I do business with Allstate. When I took out the policies I was quoted a monthly and a 6 month for auto and a yearly for homeowners. They withdrew a monthly premium and a 6 month premium. When I emailed my agent she said she misunderstood thought I wanted monthly payments. Okay, understandable. Took awhile to have the money returned to my account. Well we had very high winds and I found shingles in my yard so I called my agent and asked if someone could come out and inspect my roof. That took forever, when he finally came I have him on my ring camera getting out of his truck walking towards the house (a ranch home) with his hands in his pocket, he then backs up gets in his truck and leaves. I get a call an hour later that he needs to come back and inspect it. And then of course it snowed again. I think your service and your motto is very deceiving. I finally gave up and decided to shop around for other insurance. I emailed my agent on 5/4/22 and cancelled both auto policies and homeowners. She got back to me within 30 minutes inquiring as to why. Well in the transition Allstate withdrew $386.73. I contacted my bank and explained to them everything and they said I should do stop payments, which I did. That cost me $28.00 x 2 = $56.00 due to Allstate withdrawing under 2 different names. I then emailed and asked that the full amount be refunded back to me. Didn't hear back from her, emailed her again on 5/6/22 @ 2:43pm, I finally received and email from her on 5/9/22 @ 2:49pm that I will be refunded the unused premium. I then emailed her back on 5/10/22 @ 7:42am asking about what unused premium I am not using your insurance. She then emailed me back on 5/10/22 @ 11:21am "Yes, you did cancel, you will get the money that was taken out, is the moral of the story". I was then refunded $23.50 and $30.78 on 5/12/22. Still waiting for the balance of $332.45. I don't want any excuses as to why I am only getting a portion of my premium returned and there is no excuse as to why the full amount isn't returned in one transaction you withdrew it in a single transaction. I wish I would have read the reviews about Allstate before I did business with them. Very similar issues... Nobody should be doing business the way Allstate does it is terrible...

Desired outcome: I want my full balance returned ($332.45) in addition to the stop payment fees ($28.00 x 2 = $56.00 since they withdraw under 2 different names)I paid to make sure that Allstate wouldn't withdraw from my account again.

Allstate Insurance Auto insurance

What a bunch of crap! So I pay my auto insurance on a monthly payment plan and last month I paid 135.00. For no apparent reason other than, (let's screw this guy and make his insurance bill higher) my latest payment went up to 163.00; nope! I didn't have any accidents or new tickets, I even called my agency and they even said it had nothing to do with me. Nice job allstate! You decided you needed a bigger paycheck from me; well guess what? My paycheck never went up! So this is how you reward people who are trying their best to be safe drivers!... Wow! I don't appreciate getting bent over! That 28.00 is just as good sitting in my pocket! I guess that's how you do business now, just charge people more just because you can!... Not happy!

Allstate Insurance Insurance on vehicles as married couple

Was going thru a divorce last year and never worked during this marriage and then was told by judge not entitled to any support and husband was allowed to shut things off including insurance on my vechile, I got insurance thru state farm and paying it then he was allowed to add me and my truck baack on this policy and was charged for it while I had my own insurance. Divorce never happened but we went to state farm instead of allstate and now have a 380.00 on credit report showing we still owe them money. Have called main office for supervisor and still nothing. This is wrong and unethicial in so many ways, but since conway county ar showed me I never had any rights just shows how bad this country has become. Paid my own insurance from july 2021- nov 2021. Have emails and so forth if needed. Also mr hervey informed me in june I couldnt take him off or the truck but he was allowed to do it. Also gonna contact the better business bureau

Desired outcome: will not pay this 380.00 and want this resolved asap, think i should get the money for the months i paid my own ins while he was aloud to take me off and add me back.

Allstate Insurance Homeowner's Insurance Claim

On March 21st I filled a claim for a pipe bursting and flooding my basement. The claim was honored and the mitigation company proceeded to rip my floor out. They got their money from Allstate. I was then told to hire a reconstruction company to fix the flooring and the walls from the water damage. The company send a quote and nobody has gotten back to us. Allstate has changed my agents 2 times and I am sitting on debris, for close to 2 months. Unacceptable Allstate! file number starts with 06634

Allstate Insurance Water damage from the upstairs neighbor. Being ill from the mold that must have washed downward when washing machine was faulty connected.

He, Mr. Reison has Allstate Insurance and admitted to Allstate that he connected his washing machine the wrong way. Thus, flooding my downstairs condo with a high water pressure for days, filling up my inside of walls, and left his empty condominium he had for sale.

All the water was sitting inside my washer - dryer cubicle for who knows how long. I got very ill and could not leave my home for 10 month because I could not hold my food down and Lost 40 ponds. I actually thought I was dying. My son who is an Anestisiologist came from Texas. He examined my computer and told me it has an electrical short out. That was the reason my Picture Email was not working. Allstate call't me stupid and being a retard because I was crying because they belittled me so badly. They follow a belittling scheme that makes one cry. That alone is an Class Action Suite just waiting, making people have an emotional episode them thinking they are not worth anything and are a looser.

Than the second in comment Mr. Jason Ladner of Allstate callt, personal phone # is [protected], and promised me to me get me payt. That is now 7 weeks ago.

The condominium crew that came late at night in July to tear down the inside walls call't me after, that I had to move out of my home and stay in a hotel, because of toxic Mold. My Physician tells me I have the mold illness and is sending me to a specialist. (appt. is on June1.22) I wonder how long the washing machine was faulty connected to have water gushing true a hole on the second floor, down to my ceiling and in to the garage true a small hole for who knows how long. The garage floor was flooded just the same. Again a crew discovered this and again Mr. Raison from above me admitted to them that it was his fault that he did not know how to do connect a washing machine.

Desired outcome: My neighbor had water gushing down my place for days. maintanance told me I have toxic mold. My Dr. Tells me I have toxic mold, is sending me to a specialist. Was ill for 10 month and lost 40 pounds, plus could not leave my home.
