Allstate Insurance My complaint is that the subrogation department of Allstate has settled my claim and I would like my $5,000.00 deductible returned to me.

I submitted a claim to Allstate Ins. (claim #[protected]) for damage that was done by a plumbing company, EF Winslow, in South Yarmouth,Ma. on 7/9/2020 The claim was honored and paid to me for the damage. The damage has been corrected in total. The case was turned over to the Subrogation department and Preston Smith was handling the claim. Over many correspondences with him I could only determine that the apposing insurance Co. Arbella(claim #601L192569) had agreed to pay a certain amount and that Allstate was continuing their pursuit for the rest. The claim then was transferred to a different department of EXL Services. I was given the name of Brett Maher that was supposed to be assigned my case. After writing to him twice with no response I decided to file this complaint. I am looking to receive from Allstate insurance my deductible of $5000.00.

Desired outcome: I would like to have Allstate finalize this case and return to me my deductible of $5000.00.

Allstate Insurance Allstate Collision victim, Laughable online estimate.

Accident occurred on 3/31/2022. Allstate insured driver pulled out from parking spot on side of road, and without looking, hit the side of my car. I received 2 "on-site" estimates in which were within $50.00 of each other ($2200.00). I submitted those to Allstate. Allstate requested pictures for their in-house estimators in Texas (I live in Seattle) They decided that the damage was $1200.00 less to repair, on top of that joke, The estimated parts to repair (Because of their discount) were not only Free, but they are receiving a $5.00 Credit on parts! You can't make this stuff up! Today is 04/21/2022, And I've racked up 26 back and forth E-Mails, 11 Phone calls with the Allstate Rep. Today, I received a check from Allstate for the lesser amount ($1200.00) to close the claim! B.S. I'm not spending $1100.00 out of pocket to fix my car, I've taken 2 day's off work to get estimates, the repair facilities say 10 days to repair (10 days of rental car) If you're not with AllState, then your hands are tied! I think not, I'm a man of principle, and will not settle for this. I don't care how much I spend out of pocket to take this to court, I know I'll win and get reimbursed. We the people have to take a stand, and not be screwed by the giants. Let's band together and not let them control us!

Desired outcome: A fair outcome, not one that effects Allstates profit margin to investors. For every 1 bad consumer experience, Allstate loses 20 (Estimated) members.

Allstate Insurance Cancellation of insurance policy (Policy # [protected])

I am a long time customer of Allstate and have always thought it superior to any other Insurance Agency. Over the years, I have insured both homes and autos exclusively. I am writing to speak with someone regarding my latest insurance policy ([protected]). On 4/18, I called to have a vehicle I had recently sold removed from my policy and was told by customer service (Gabby/Cara) my policy had been cancelled on 3/28/22. When I asked why, I was told she said it was a policy rewrite and I must contact my Agent (Michael Buchanan/Sherrie James) for additional details. I called my agent on 4/19 and they advised they did not cancel the policy and would have to request an investigation. Ms. James also told me that I had a credit balance when the account was closed and these funds were transferred to another policy. I asked if I could just request a new policy and was also told if the policy lapse had been under 5 days I could. However, too much time had lapsed in my case and I needed to seek insurance elsewhere (Sherrie James). I am truly shocked. I received no notification (email, text) and had been driving three vehicles for almost a month without coverage. I called customer service (Richard) again last night to inquire what could be done and he told me "there was a glitch in the system and underwriting had performed a contract rewrite". How can this be I asked? He said he didn't know but he would request a reinstatement for me. You should hear something in 72 hours. Just don't drive your cars, you’re not covered. This is not the Allstate I used to know. Something has changed. A continental shift of some form. You cancel a policy without notice and force the customer to reapply at a rate astronomically higher than their previous policy. Is that it? He told me his own rate had went up $40 and that inflation is everywhere. This is insane. I am dumb founded. I can't help but think that Ashton Kutcher is going to come from behind the bushes at any moment with cameras and lights blaring. Or maybe Rod Serling will suddenly appear and advise me very sternly "I've entered the Twilight Zone". Has your policy changed? Is this how Allstate's insurance policies are managed now? Did I not read the small print? I am requesting reinstatement of my policy at the original rate and reimbursement for remaining funds on policy that were transferred, cost of new policy. Allstate Insurance negative item on credit report

Allstate had placed a negative item on my credit report. My wife happened to review our credit reports and she came across Credit Control Service to which Allstate Insurance Company reported a non-payment of $213.00 on an Allstate bill and went into collections.

First, they had the wrong Royce L Pelkey. I am a junior, nor do I even carry Allstate Insurance. They were looking for my son Royce L Pelkey III who does live at the same address. He did not pay his Allstate bill.

I talked to Credit Control Services list on my credit report to investigate. They gave me the date of birth which does not even match my son nor myself. Also, Allstate was absolutely NO help in resolving this.

I am very upset that Allstate just assumed it was me and attached this collection on MY credit report which as you know has detrimental effects to a credit report. How did Allstate even find my social security number to even attached to my report?

It has taken months and fees( with a third party to get this negative item off my credit report.

Allstate Insurance Honda Acord 2013

My name is Miryam Pinilla, police number # [protected] about yesterday they called me from All State, to let me know that they had deposited another amount in addition to another deposit, made earlier. When I spoke with the person who called, I asked her to which account she had made these deposits, and she said that to a visa card, well, I currently do not have a visa card, I called my bank, and this money does not appear

nowhere. wish they would give me more money to replace my mirror, but after endless discussions with three people from All State, they are paid for a piece of junk, despite having told them that I was willing to put up some more money, outside the deductible, to replace my mirror with something decent

Allstate Insurance Claim

I purchased a policy from Allstate about 2yrs ago; for 2 cars. I wanted full coverage plus rental on both vehicles... didnt happen! Didnt find out that i had no rental until i totaled my car on March 26 @ approx 8:30 pm. SO I contacted Allstate to start a claim and wait for a tow...NEVER HAPPENED! Allstate left my vehicle where i totaled it for over 19hrs! ( they dispatched a company that wanted $300 out of pocket fees for the tow! Really isnt that what i pay you for? ) SO after i realised that they were not going to help me; I contacted Triple A (moms insurance ) and they were out in less than 30 min! Now Allstate is not wanting to pay for my LOSS! But Ive been PAYING THEM!

Desired outcome: I would like to be paid out so that i may purchase another vehicle! I have 3 lil ones that needs special attention and Im stranded!

Allstate Insurance Handling of a claims payment

I was driving to work at the Titusville Mall when an Allstate insured elderly gentleman pulled from a side road & hit me in the driver front side. A police report was written & full blame was put on the Allstate driver. GEICo sent out an adjuster to do my estimate. I was able to drive the van but the driver door would not open nor would the window roll down. When driving to work about a week later the engine started smoking. I had to have the van towed to the repair shop that the adjuster recommended. I procured a rental car from Enterprise. At the end of the first week the adjuster called & said the repair shop needed to order another part & would need the van longer. I contacted Enterprise for an additional week. At the end of that week I contacted the repair shop & was told my van was not ready, yet. They called me at 2 weeks & 4 or 5 days & said the van was ready. I could not pick it up until 2 days later (was not in town). I paid the full rental bill myself. I then sent it to Allstate & GEICo. Allstate sent me a check for the one week originally required. I have not cashed the check & of course, it is now void. Since that time I have contacted my claims person at GEICo & left numerous messages (both by email & by voice mail), I contacted Allstate & was told they would not pay the additional 2 weeks unless GEICo approved it. I even called my claims adjuster & left him a message about the issue but he would never answer nor return my calls. He was the person that told me the repair shop needed the van for the 2nd week so he had knowledge of what was going on. After numerous calls to several different people I tried the repair shop to see if I could get some info from them about the additional 2 weeks. The lady that answered the phone told me the shop had been sold. I asked her for the owner’s info & she said they did not have any info. I asked if she could assist me in contacting the original owner & she said she could not.

I finally spoke with an attorney. He suggested I take GEICo & Allstate jointly to small claims court since the value was less that $700. I am not a rich person & certainly would not have kept the rental that long if I knew I was going to be stuck paying for it. I was required to leave the van at the repair shop for almost 3 weeks so with that requirement there should have been a rental for that same period of time. It would have been a hardship for me to find someone to take me to work for those 2 extra weeks but it is a bigger hardship having to pay that additional $400 something for the 2 extra REQUIRED weeks rental. Keep in mind I am out the full rental cost since I have not cashed the rental reimbursement check.

When I changed my insurance from GEICo earlier this year the representative asked me why I was canceling & I explained what I just wrote here to her. She said she would look into it & have someone contact me. That never happened (as expected due to my previous experiences)!

I sent the above info in an email to the president of both insurance companies & a rep from GEICo called me to say they had sent the info back to Allstate in April 2021 but Allstate still did nothing.

Desired outcome: I would like a check for the $600 something I paid for the 3 weeks of car rental required for the repair.

Allstate Insurance Allstate has refused to put in my mother's claim for hurricane damages 4x

My mom, Lorea Stokes, has had Allstate insurance since 3/2015. She bought her house in 4/17/2015. Hurricane Danny came and cause roof damage in August 2015, not even 6 months after she bought her house. She called Allstate in Atmore Alabama to place a claim on her roof, due to a new leak, and Allstate told her that there was no storm. No claim. Hurricane Bobby came in 2019, Allstate refused to put in a claim. Hurricane Sally and Zeta, both in 2020, and still nobody from Allstate has come to assess the damages. Allstate is discriminating on this 79-year-old black woman. Allstate lies about not seeing her policies, and I am able to pull them up from 2015. This is neglect and prejudice ethnic discrimination. Now, her entire roof needs to be fixed. My mother will not go back to her house due to the mold, and the leaky roof. This is the second complaint I have placed against Allstate. Anger cannot describe how we are feeling.

Desired outcome: The roof at 211 Greer Ave, Atmore, Ala needs to be replaced, and at this point pain and major suffering payment should be on the table.

Allstate Insurance Wrong effective date on policy

I purchased an automobile policy with Allstate on January 3, 2022 online with the belief that my policy effective date would be the same day I purchased the policy. I called and cancelled my previous insurance the same day as purchasing the policy from Allstate. I enrolled in drive wise and chose the option to have the money automatically taken out monthly for the bill.

Fast forward to February 19, 2022. There was an accident. Not until then did I realize that somehow my effective date wasn’t until 3/3/2022. Have spent the last 3 weeks since the accident trying to get the effective date corrected and have been denied each time. Only to be told that I chose that start date which is completely false. I have sent proof where I cancelled my previous insurance the same day as purchasing the new policy. Which is proof that I had no intention of it starting two months later. That would mean a lapse in coverage and I definitely didn’t that. Still denied!

Desired outcome: Correct the effective date on my policy.

Allstate Insurance Fix my siding

In 12/2019 we had a snow storm that was very windy. It took off 1 piece of siding approx. 6 feet long and about 12 inches high. I spoke with my agents office in Castle Rock, CO asking him what I should do. He informed me that the damage was going to be less than my 1000. 00 deductible and filing a claim wasn't going to productive. The siding is made by a Canadian company called Kaykan. Kaykan is no longer available in the United States due to supply issues. I have taken several days off work and countless hours on the phone with Kaycan Rep out of Spingfield, MO who told me they no longer sell to consumers. His name is Brent Rushin P: *******075. Brent Rushin informed me that the closest thing to Kaycan siding is Royal Building Products. I have tried to hire 10 "handy men" who couldn't get the materials to fix the issues. Along with the 6' by 12" piece of siding, I also need approx. 10 linear feet of J-channel. Again, you cant get this either. I have been to at least 5 wholesalers in Denver. All of which stated that Kaycan cant be obtained anymore. The siding color is Cobot Brown. Being I was told that Royal Building Products was the closest thing, I had 2 samples sent to me. Neither will even come close to color and physically connect to the Kaycan siding. Even the inspector that Allstate sent out to my home stated that Kaycan couldn't be obtained. The insurance is denying the claim because the insurance believes the limited damage to siding is the result of defective material because the damage is only piece. The Allstate insurance claims agent stated he would send my siding to ITEL to see if ITEL can provide a match or even a close match. Now that the insurance claim is denying the claim, my house went from worth approx. 520k to 0 because a lender will not approve a loan to purchase the home from me. If my estimates are correct I have about 3600 square feet of siding on my home. If that is the case then I am looking at approx. 27k to fix because I will have to put vinyl siding on the entire home. I am considering legal action. I have recorded my calls with my insurance agent as well. These recorded calls will be provided to an attorney. I was told by the Allstate claims agent that even if ITEL finds no available matches then the claim will not be paid.

I want to say that my insurance agent (Dave Lowrey) in Castle Rock, CO is fantastic and his service is great. It is the company Allstate that is trying to push this bill on me.

The Kaycan siding is 5.5 inch lapping. Per multiple wholesalers in my area no US Company makes siding with 5.5 inch lapping either. They are mostly 5 inch lapping. I will be contacting an attorney on 03/07/2021.

Allstate Insurance discrimination!!!

Atmore Alabama Allstate refused to acknowledge my mother's claim after two separate storms. She has roof damage from two storms and your AllState company in Atmore Alabama denies the storms and replacing or repairing the roof. She is a 78-year-old black woman and was taken advantage of due to her age and ethnicity. My mother, Lorea Stokes, has never been late or missed an insurance payment. Most of the older black people in Atmore Alabama has had the same issues with this Allstate insurance company. Please repair or replace her damaged roof.

Allstate Insurance Producer License Termination

I submitted for resignation with this Agency before moving to another company. However recently I found out that my termination with Allstate companies has only dated by July, 2021 when this agency terminated her business with Allstate. And in my record with Texas Department of Insurance, it was written that my license has been terminated by Allstate Insurance companies for cause? How can I file a claim in this case to remove this status.

Allstate Insurance American Modern Homeowners Insurance

Wrote check for yearly premium for $890.00 on 1/8/22. Received letter on 1/20/22 stating premium wasn't paid. Called American Modern and had electronic check debited from our checking account. Original check cleared bank on 1/24/22, electronic check cleared bank on 1/26/22. Refund check was supposed to mailed out on 1/20/22. Later told that refund check was mailed on 2/10/22. No check received as of 3/2/22. American Modern claims we don't have an agent. Who do we contact? Samuel has talked to 7 different people at American Moderm.

Allstate Insurance Aoc insurance agency corporation

Back in fall of 2021, we have been trying to get our policy updated, with hector cruz our agent at [protected]. He never returns calls or emails. We drove out of our way to his office and it took him one hour to let us into his office because he wouldnt open door. The allstate office had to contact him that we was outside his door to get our policy straight to add rental and tow to our vehicle. Our vehicle is in shop right now finally after all these months and we need a rental vehicle and no ressponse from him or the commercial people. He is the most irresponsible agent. We just want rental and tow added to our policy the agent and commercial people with allstate to our policy.

Desired outcome: We want rental and towing added to our policy and it to be effective as of last august when we contact Mr. Cruz and also went out of our way to his office.

Allstate Insurance Homeowners Insurance

Allstate denied claim for hail damage even though I had pictures from several companies who inspected the roof. Almost everyone on my street had roofs replaced due to hail storm damage. Allstate claims sent contracted adjuster from Hancock who reported damage was blisters. Research indicated this Hancock had low BBB ratings due and resulted in denial of claims by Allstate.

After I sent pictures, Allstate claims contact indicated he would send different adjuster for second opinion. The same adjuster, from Hancock, contacted me to come back out. He also said he would just send the same report. I sent email to Allstate about the issue and received no reply from the Allstate Claims contact. I did receive a form letter from Allstate denying my claim citing several paragraphs from the policy. After over 50 years with Allstate I can no longer defend to my friends the reason I stay with them and pay more. They are not the company they used to be and have always had good results from the few claims I have had over 50 years. I will be looking at all options to see how/if I can get this paid, or partial payment. Based on what I have found researching the issues, roof blisters is something they are using to avoid payments. It is usually an opinion and cannot be proved as hail causes same problem. Lived in south all my life and never heard of this before.

Desired outcome: I want the damage covered by homeowners policy. The pictures show hail damage and it is documented as to when.

If you think you’re in “Good Hands With Allstate” you better think again. We experienced a level 1 tornado in June causing a great deal of damage to neighborhood. We incurred roof, siding, tree, as well as personal loss. Most neighbors as of the end of September have had roof and siding replacement. There are 4 Allstate customers within neighborhood who have yet to have anything done. Unfortunately, we all have Allstate. In my opinion, Allstate is the worst company you could deal with. Seems their purpose is to do everything except meet claim needs. Hope this helps others searching for home insurance.

I always read complaints before switching insurance companies, I had Allstate 30 or so years ago, they paid out two claims (roof, water damage, from icemaker, ) I switched because of premium hikes exceeding what others were charging. Currently with Amica, but thier premiums are rising also so ill be shopping around again.

Allstate Insurance Unauthorized drivers added to auto policy

I have an auto policy with Allstate that covers 2 cars for myself and my wife. Several weeks ago I noticed that a third person had been added to our policy. This person has never been a member of our household and has never driven either of our cars. Apparently this person had been receiving coverage under our policy for a number of months.

I called Allstate to have this person removed from the policy and to receive a credit for the extra charges incurred. Allstate claims it sent me both an email and hard copy notice of their intent to add another person to our policy and stipulated a date by which I needed to respond. I never received an email or a letter and, of course, missed the stipulated response date, so the third person was automatically added to our policy. Allstate so far is unable to provide proof that such an email or letter was actually sent to me. I've spent hours on the phone with Allstate trying to remedy this situation. Weeks have gone by and this third person is still on our policy.

Is this a new scam to increase revenue? Is Allstate adding other drivers to peoples' policies hoping that the policyholder won't notice (particularly those who pay through direct withdrawals from their bank accounts)? I'm curious to know if other Allstate customers have experienced this situation.

Desired outcome: To have the unauthorized driver removed from the policy

Allstate Insurance Denying roof hail damage claim

Allstate has denied my claim stating there is no evidence of hail damage. I have had 9 different roofing companies inspect my roof over the last 3 yrs. and all 9 companies have photographed and documented hail damage. Allstate has had 3 "PAID" Companies inspect my roof and declare there is no hail damage on my roof all three times. Every neighbor in a 1/2 mile radius from my house has had their roof replaced due to hail damage. All 9 roofers have submitted pictures of the hail damage and Allstate still denies any evidence of damage. The Claims processor was absolutely disrespectful as well as very hateful and said his job was to go out of his way to make sure a claim is denied and the roofers that looked at my house was only trying to sell me a new roof. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB also. I have been with Allstate for 12 yrs and never filed a claim and never missed a payment. My roof has hail damage as you can see in the many pictures submitted and I am fed up with Allstate.

If this problem has not been resolved you should invoke your right to an appraisal in writing. I would find a local roofing contractor that can help you with this process. We have dealt with Allstate many times. And you unfortunately are in the majority. You are certainly not alone. Most insurance companies would approve your roof going off the pics you have provided. The appraisal process is as follows. You will invoke your right to an appraisal, as I previously stated. Allstate will have 15 days to respond. A roofing contractor should be able to hire an independent adjuster to come out on your behalf. There will also be an adjuster on Allstate’s behalf. There will also be a third party unaffiliated contractor to serve as a referee. The contractor you have hired or plan to use on your project can not be present. We have to do this almost every. Single. Time. With Allstate. They are terrible. They are the worst insurance company in America. A legitimate title they have earned.

i can see how they "claim" no hail damage. I'm no roof expert but from what i see its negligible and dismiss able. Again not a roof expert so i am not positive if this negligible damage is in fact a problem for home owners. THOUGH i do see it does exist the damage. though they should come out themself and see the damage if they want to make the claim of no damage.

Only damage i see here that is clear cut is how they are not living up to their motto "are you in good hands?" id say not with Allstate from what i see here. from what i DO know hail is no laughing matter. they can get as big as a softball and beat up a Vehicle just by falling on it. I once heard that a insurance repair for a golf ball sized hail nicking a side view mirror on a small car was $25k [it was a old car]. a GOLF BALL SIZED HAIL nicking a mirror.

they should consult experts and get 3 opinions [including your estimates] then deliberate on your claim.

Allstate denies any hail damage after 9 different roofing companies inspected and found hail damage on my roof . Also, Allstate stated to me after they denied the claim that it was there job to go out of their way to deny claims and that the roofers were only trying g to sell me a new roof .

Allstate Insurance Home insurance policy

I'm not sure where Allstate got my information from but I never signed up for service and all of a sudden I get a bill with my name misspelled and they added the name of someone else who is not on my deed. What in the fraudulent scam is this? This is completely unacceptable and when I called the local agent that is listed on the bill all he could say is I will call you back but before that I got a customer service rep that was asking about my SS number. I'm not giving you my SS number when this is already fraudulent

Desired outcome: Delete this policy that I did not ask for

Allstate Insurance unethical behavior by allstate

Tiffani Sanders who is supposedly handling my claim against your insured has been totaly unhelpful in handling this claim.
She has refused to call in a reservation for my car rental and still refuses to do so. Accident happened on 22nd of december and adjuster has still not been sent out after many calls to her.

It is the responsibility of allstate to call in a rental reservation when their insured is at fault . I was forced to pay a 20% fee because of the reservatio0n not being called in by Allstate. I am tired attempting to call this in and will now file a complaint with the Insurance Commisioner and will now hire attorney to handle this which will cost you a good bit more that was necessary.
I have been trying to keep this out of attorneys hands but it seems that this does not matter to you. My experience will be posted all over social media because of this which will not do you any good.

unless this is resolved by Monday the 10th, I will proceed with the law suit and the complaint with the Insurance Commisioner.

Desired outcome: Immidiate call to rental company with resercation number and adjuster being sent out.

Allstate Insurance The complaint is about your commercial on Television .

the commercial says you have New Lower Auto rates. If this is true then why did my auto renewal rate go up 40.00 . I have had No claims No tickets and drive less than 100 miles a week, I have been a customer for almost 3 years. I have always paid the full amount before the due date, my agent said its because of inflation in the economy. so how can you claim new Lower auto rates if you raise the rate on renewals. I think you have a false and misleading AD. Richard Durden Policy # .[protected].

Desired outcome: Change your AD or Reduce my premium.
