Membership that was not authorized
May 12, 2023 charged $20 membership fee, site does not recognize my email and I cannot use this service nor do I want it. I cancelled this and I demand my $20 back. I have emailed at least 6 times, called and left a voice mail twice, disputed on my Paypal account and reported them to the Better Business Bureau. I want my $20 refunded this is a Scam, a Fraud and they refuse to refund my money. I received Nothing for this $20 and they claim to represent my high school's Alumni which is False. They correspond using Altoona high schools name when the school is not affiliated with them.
Desired outcome: Please refund my $20, there is no agreement if the customer cancels the service and if there is no service even provided
Unauthorized charges on my account
I saw a $30 charge on my account on 11/11/22 and realized that I had canceled this account two years ago. So I did a search on my bank account and found more charges on 11/08/21 for $30, another on 10/28/21 for $18, another on 07/29/21 from $18, which I must of missed 2 years ago while I was caring for my husband as he was recovering from a stroke and broken hip. He has now passed and I’m finally trying to get my life back in order and saw this these charges.
I do not know what these are for because I haven’t and cannot even access anything besides see your email that someone visited my site without paying another fee to see who it was. I canceled for that very reason. Obviously you’re still taking my money but not allowing me to utilize it. Please, I repeat, cancel and refund my money or I will have to dispute this with my.
Truly,
Betty Castellanos

Charge of $20 for which I have no knowledge about what it is
A $20 charge was taken from my bank account on 02-16-2022 from AlumniClass.com. An ATM number was 570674 listed on the checking account activity. Please refund our $20 and cancel whatever service this was supposed to be for. I would appreciate knowing why I was charged this amount.
I received no information in advance that this was occurring.

Desired outcome: Please refund the $20 from 02-16-2022 back to my bank account.

Desired outcome: REFUND
Unauthorized credit card charge in the amount of $75.00
On Saturday, January 23rd, I went onto the FB account: Ottawa Hills Alumni Boomer Edition (located in Toledo (Ottawa Hills, OH) to post a message about the death of a former classmate from 1961. There was never any message that indicated there was a fee for this service and I never did post anything.
On Monday, 1/25 I noticed there was a $75.00 pending charge (out of my checking account) from "Alumni Site Member [protected] WA". Subsequently on Wednesday, 1/27 the $75 was deducted from my account and paid to the name mentioned above.
I wrote an email on 1/27 to "Sylvia" who was the alumni "customer service manager" ([protected]@alumniclass.com) disputing the charge and asking for the backup documentation whereby I approved of this charge.
On 1/28 @ 10:24 a.m. ET, she responded that this was a "payment for your upgraded membership on the Ottawa Hills high school alumni site that you submitted". I verified with the Alumni Board Chairman at Ottawa Hills High School that there is NEVER a charge.
I contacted my bank and let them know this was a fraudulent transaction and my card was cancelled. According to other complaints on this site, I'm definitely not the first person to be scammed.
Desired outcome: I would like my money back - I'm 75 years old and on a fixed income. I did nothing wrong!
They are charging $20 a year for my sister to connect to classmates. This service does not do that.
One year ago, my sister, Kay Hiatt, signed up with this organization, thinking it was run by her high school. She has been charged $40 for two years of service. They have her debit card. The charge on her card was to Alumni Site Member [protected] WA.
She is Bipolar and I am responsible for her money. She was misled to believe it was tied to her high school classmates. She has never used the service because it doesn't do what was represented to her.
Desired outcome: I would like the company to take her name off their list and refund $40 to her for the two years they have charged her.
Credit card charge
I have NEVER subscribed to Alumniclass.com. I participated in a trial for Classmates.com a few years ago, but I have not renewed that one either. You were not authorized to use my credit card at any time for any reason. I have now been charged $30, and I want a credit for that amount immediately. I have read many, many of the complaints against you, and it certainly is a habit for you to charge people without authorization.
Take that charge off of my credit card and do not do it again.

Unethical behavior regarding credit card charges
In 2019 I created an account with AlumniClass.com because it was required in order to attend my 50th high school reunion. What I didn't know was that I was signing up for an annual renewal agreement. Didn't see that anywhere in the fine print. So I was very surprised to find a $30 Paypal charge to my debit card earlier this week. I immediately researched it...

After submitting a credit card payment and getting access, I realized that this site is of no use and is a come-on. I immediately submitted a message asking for cancellation or refund the of the payment of $75 for "lifetime membership". Sylvia sent an email response that the payment is non-refundable and referenced Terms of Use. This position is unacceptable and does not value customer satisfaction, which indicates this site is more fraudulent than an honest business. It has no affiliation with a school and adds no value versus available alumni pages on facebook and linkedin. Recommend the attorney general look into the company's business practices.

I have paid twice for membership and unable to log in. No one to help or assist. Changed my password, still no ability to log in. I've paid twice $70) for lifetime membership and it gets you NOTHING. i am not aware of what this is about. I am not involved with any AlumniClass website
unauthorized debit charge
On 6/29/2019, our bank account was charged $20. Neither my husband or I have authorized this charge to our account. This charge will be reported to our banking institution as well as this agency to be resolved. When I called the number given on our statement, it referred my to an e-mail of Sylvia alumniclass.com, this information proved futile, so I am contacting you.
unauthorized charge
My Visa card was charged $20. I did not authorize this or want it to continue. Please remove this charge ASAP. If not I will change my card number and have this charge removed. The charge appeared on May 3rd pending and finalized on May 6, 2019. i did not go to college and I do not belong to any civic organizations. This never happened before. I am 73 and lived on a fixed income. Cannot afford this.
unauthorized credit card charges
My Discover credit card was charged $20.00, on Sept. 15, 2018, for "alumni site member. I did not sign up for this. I've tried calling the phone # listed on my Discover
statement [protected]), &I what I get is a recorded answer to go to this website. Please help me. Like I said, I did not apply to become a member of this alumni place. I am 75 yrs old and I don't have a lot of money to be joining anything. I am on a fixed income, and can't buy or join, anything extra! Please issue a credit of $20.00 to my Discover card. Right away please.
phony charge for $20.00
online website
There is no way to unsubscribe or contact this company. I did not give them my bank account info but I worry about them having too much information about me anyway.
Nothing on their constant bombardment of emails works. None of the buttons for 'unsubscribe' 'contact us' function.
When I try going to AlumniClass.com I get a message saying that website address is available. So, they don't even exists except to try to extort money. It is continuous SPAM every day and I cannot stop them. They are always asking for money.
phony charge for $30.00
I've been requesting this refund for two weeks and I still haven't received it these people are crooks WHAT EVER YOU DO don't send them any of your information for AlumniClass.com once they get your charge card number you are on their sucker for ever list and you can't get your money back and their is no way to contact them to get your money back!
charge for something did not request
Requesting a refund for a 2018 listing for the Evergreen class of 1959 in Seattle. The charge was for $30.00 and was thru my PayPal account at the beginning of May.
So what is the problem as this is the third time I've asked for the refund so what is the problem.
I never asked to be in this listing and want my $30.00 refunded to my PayPal account.
I'm still waiting for my $30.00 refund from Alumniclass .com which I have requested 2 weeks ago. These people are CHOOKS. I see I'm not the only one who has been taken by these people.
I'm requesting a refund for the second time of $30.00 as I didn't request to be added to the new 2018 class form for Evergreen class of 1959. Charge was made on the beginning of May. This was done thru my PayPal account and this is the third time I've requested refund so what is the problem!
don't trust alumni as they charge a yearly fee even if NOT REQUESTED to be in this form. Getting a refund is impossible. I would give ZERO stars to this phony business if it was possible.
high jacking their website to another host on facebook
I thought I was registering with Arts High School alumni class of 82 advertised on Facebook, instead it was with alumniclass.com. They, AlumniClass.com piggybacked my registration on Facebook. Also alumni Class & alumni class reunions refused to contact me concerning this matter.
Their website, somehow connected with Arts High School on Facebook, it then prompted me with a $25 discount and lifetime membership.
After registering I realized my name was incorrectly spelled, and I registered with the wrong website. AlumniClass.com is not associated with Arts High School in Newark, New Jersey. Also I contacted the real individuals in charge of the Arts High School Alumni association site and they also confirmed that I had not registered. This is a sham at its best on Facebook allowing piggybacking and high jacking consumers. Facebook does not have a direct link that allows reporting this type of abusive behavior. [protected]@FakeBook
