I applied for a mortgage loan on 1/4, I have only received one document in the mail advising me my credit score will be used to qualify fir a loan. I have tried to contact the bank 8 times and have waited on hold for 2-3 hours at a time before I leave a voicemail. I have not received any call backs or additional information. I can see the status of my loan online and all it says is in progress.

I am not behind in my payments and the check would pay my balance down to 1100 dollars. The bank has now said I have to fix the truck and they will pay interest before any is applied to my balance. The bank has also filed a 30 day late notice on my credit for may. *** has said the check was cashed on April 9. The truck has more issues than just the damage from the wreck. The engine requires a 12k dollar fix. Holding this check is just making me pay interest. I still drive the truck and the truck is worth far more than the 1k dollars the balance would be if they paid it.
I went to an ATM located on Fort Dix NJ in the ***. I attempted to withdraw $200. The money was not dispensed, but my account was charged. I was on the phone for over an hour to attempt to resolve. The Bank was not helpful or understanding of my situation. They stated the ATM was serviced by a 3rd party company Brink...and I would have to go through them?
This was my 2nd car loan with Andrews FCU. My first car loan I had an issue where after the loan was paid off they still took out the monthly car payment. Having this previous issue, whenever ever I talked to someone I told them this can't happen again and I was ensured it wouldn't. On 1/29 I contacted Andrews to pay off my car loan to the sum of $15,603.05. I spoke to 'Shicoda', then 'Allison' and then 'Cathy". Of course I was not able to pay it off that day as they only take one day payments of $5,000. On 2/4 the loan was paid off. On 2/5 we contacted Andrews to make sure the loan was paid off and that both our savings and checking accounts were closed. We spoke to 'Sandy' who ensured us the accounts would be closed and ensured us that $1,00 wouldn't be taken out in February. On Feb 9th we talked to 'Sophia' requesting a paper title. On February 16th we received the paper title for the paid off car. On February 17th, $1,000 was taken out of our account to pay on the loan we no longer owed. On February 19th we called Andrews and spoke to 'John' in the escalation services department. John saw that our loan was paid in full and that the checking and savings accounts were not closed. Apparently the title person 'Sophia' closed out the requests not ensuring that the checking and savings accounts were closed. John assured us the accounts would be closed and he would wire us the amount of $1010.54 and ensured us that there would be no wiring fees. I checked our local bank's checking account on 2/20 and see the deposit of $1010.54 plus a wiring fee of $15. 2/22 I called Andrews again and asked to speak to a supervisor. We were put on hold for 30 minutes to be told there was nothing they could do to reimburse us the $15 charge from our bank. When we were told by 'John' that there would be no wiring fees, we expected NO wiring fees. I am very unhappy with Andrews Federal Credit Union. This is no way to do business.

Hello to whom this concerns. Recently I have been attempting to use my debit card for online purchases and have been notified that the many places I were frequenting were telling me that my card was declining. I then took it upon myself to verify if my card was on a hold do to fraud detection by calling my bank, Andrews Federal Credit Union. With about a collective amount of 40 minutes over a 2 hour time span on customer service hold without talking to a single human. Unfortunately I do not have the fortune of walk-in due to my distance from the bank, but without explanation as to why there was not even a call back option is beyond me. I just need to get in contact with a real person to help resolve any issues I may have with my card. The sooner the better honestly.
My account at Andrews was compromised, and someone attempted multiple times to access it. Despite informing Andrews on each occasion, their response was disappointingly indifferent. When I first reported the suspicious activity, they insisted I pay $25 for each company to prevent unauthorized withdrawals, rather than proactively blocking those companies. Additionally, when I requested a replacement for my compromised debit card, they charged me $10, as if I were to blame.
As a customer, I am frustrated. I reported to Andrews that I was missing over $2,000 from my account due to the security breach, yet they have neither refunded the money nor addressed my claim. At one point, my account balance exceeded $12,000 before my card information was stolen and unauthorized transactions were made. Despite filing a fraud report, Andrews has not been responsive or issued a refund.
Today, I spent an hour and 15 minutes on hold, only to have a brief 7-minute conversation with someone who said I would receive a callback in a few days regarding the issue. It has been over a month, and I am still awaiting a response or refund. It seems they are indifferent to companies making unauthorized withdrawals from my account.
I urge that Andrews be held accountable to refund my money so I can close my account and bank elsewhere. This is not the first time I've faced such issues with them. Previously, someone used my card at an ATM while I was out of state for three months. Even with ATM footage of the perpetrator, Andrews claimed it was my fault and refused to refund the stolen money. I am utterly exhausted with Andrews Credit Union's handling of these matters; it feels like they simply keep people's money without justification.

On May 7, I completed the applications and was quoted a good interest rate for a 15 year term. I called the same day to lock the rated in. On May 8, I get a call stating they can't give me the rate. No explanation. They then gave me another rate instead. Since it wasn't to bad, I locked that rate in. I submitted all the requested documents to get the refinance underway. I was told the closing date would be June . That month came and gone. I kept calling, emailing, submitting paystubs and all other requested documents. Today, December 21 I still do not have a closing date for our mortgage refinance. Two hard inquiries were done on our credit report that doesn't come off until 6 years. We paid for an appraisal and we still have no closing date. IT HAS BEEN SEVEN MONTHS NOW AND NO CLOSING DATE. This is unacceptable! I would like for AFCU located in NJ to complete the mortgage refinance of our loan and make sure the numbers are correct Especially since my principal balance owed is much lower than seven months ago. I called to file a dispute against an account that was closed without me knowing. As well as transactions on my checking account. I was told I have to satisfy the account balance first. I satisfy the account balance and was told I could not dispute any thing about the account. The supervisor at Maryland Andrews federal credit union called me and denied me my dispute. I asked to speak to her boss she said she didn't have one. I asked her to check her recordings for my previous calls. She said the account was closed. I was denied opening another I asked why she said it is in the terms and conditions. I asked can you tell me why you denied me as an individual specifically. She said it was her right. I asked for paperwork stating why she said terms and conditions. I told her I was a client for 15+ years. I hung up the phone to call and get help.

I have an urgent need to change checking accounts and have been trying for 1 week consistently EVERYDAY to get this resolved with Andrews Federal Credit Union which has my auto loan. I have gone to the website and attempted to add an external account and waited for my verification deposits in my new checking account. I have inputted the amount - 2 of them - through their website and they STILL cannot verify. This is the ONLY account out of about 20 that i'm having issues with. I have called four times and been on hold longer than I have talked to someone. as I speak, I'm STILL on hold after one hour - with the longest "10 minutes" wait time. I'm so tired of them not being able to help and provide customer support. I need to switch out my checking account due to other reasons related to a job. Please assist! Thank you for your help. On 8/28, I'd discovered (2) fraudulent transactions on my account ending in ***. I would then file and signed documentation regarding this fraud on my account entered by ***. I have no associations with this service, nor do I have any account/s with this fraudulent company. I was informed by the rep at AFCU that my paperwork would be submitted and I would see the refund of the (2) withdrawals in my checking account within (***) business days. It has been over a month, and I still do not have my money refunded into my account. Additionally, everytime I call AFCU for some resolution/or answers they continue to either hang-up the line, transfer me around to several different reps that are giving me inconsistent information, as well as circling the phone call around after I had requested to speak with a manager! I am demading that AFCU refund my money immediately! I am very frustrated with their customer run-around and NO RESULTS! They also need be investigated!

I'm submitting this complaint against ANDREWS FEDERAL CREDIT UNION due to their disregard for my consumer rights under the FCRA/FCBA/FDCPA. I've been disputing inaccurate and unverifiable information showing up on my credit report by this company. I have requested intimate information about the alleged accounts, including a copy of an agreement with my signature on it, but I have yet to receive anything. This company continues to electronically verify this "ghost" account without providing any legally binding evidence, such as a signed contract and complete accounting of the record, as required by law. I'm asking for proof; however, this company refuses to provide it, which is not compliant with the FCRA/FDCPA. It is causing me enormous mental and financial distress, preventing me from getting approved from credit that I am rightfully entitled to. This has brought a great deal of harm to my family as a whole as well. I've just had enough! Please help! I hope to hear from you soon.

My account at andrews was compromised and someone tried numerous of times to access my account. I informed andrews every time however they have a nonchalant approach to handling things. I have a debit card with Andrews Federal Credit Union in Suitland MD, with both a checking and savings account. Recently, May 15, my account was compromised due to work from home/job scams and I received a call from Evelyn (wasn't given a last name or extension number) with risk management, who went over everything with me in regards to my account and the process I would have to go through to fix it. She told me my account would be locked/restricted and I would not have access to it, and she would call me to give me updates on what was going on with it or what I would need to do. It was not until June 19 when I called looking to speak with Evelyn, that I was able to get in contact with her, and she tells me that the bank handled everything, but she still has it locked so I can't take my remaining money out just in case something comes up and they still need access to it to fix the past issue. I was never given a call or email with an update on my accounts or what they were going to do to keep it secure, I had to call to find out, and receive answers a month later at that. She also tells me that she will give me a call the coming Monday, June 22, to make sure there are no other pending transactions and to go over the process of getting a different routing and account number. Another week goes by and I have not heard from her and still do not have access to my account or my remaining funds. I called yesterday, June 29, and today June 30, with no luck of speaking to Ms. Evelyn or getting any helpful information on my account. I have spoken with other workers from the branch, but they can not do anything until Evelyn unlocks it or does whatever else needs to be done to it. I have another job and the orientation is Wednesday, July 1. I will need access to my funds and an account so I can receive direct deposits and make other payments. I cannot go to the office to speak with someone directly because I no longer reside in Maryland and there is no AFCU here in Conyers, Georgia.
