On June 2nd we got our pool redone by Aquatic Pools. It's been a real bad experience. They dug a big hole in my yard (without askin' or even lettin' me know) to pump out the leftover plaster. Now we got roots stickin' up all over in that area, right next to where my kids play. They also messed up my patio and left big nails in my grass where my kids run around. After they filled the pool, they didn't give us any info 'cept to brush it every day. I tried reachin' out to 'em but got no response. A whole week later, they finally told us to keep the PH at 7.2. Then, 15 days AFTER they finished the pool, they gave us a care sheet sayin' how we should've been takin' care of the new finish while it cures for 30 days. 'Cause we didn't have the right info, we had to throw away a perfectly good pool filter and now our pool got yellow spots. We still got the messed-up patio and roots stickin' up in our yard too.

They didn't fix a leak and still charged me. They ignored my complaint and didn't give me a written guarantee. Last year, I had Aquatic leak detection company check my pool for leaks. They said I needed a new skimmer. On 11/6, they replaced the skimmer and made me pay them 1534.00 (credit card) for it. The next day, I texted them and told them I still had a leak. I called them to come back and check, and they sent "Murray". Murray couldn't find the leak. In fact, Murray checked the pool for leaks the first time without getting in the pool. After a year of checking my pipes, solar panels, and calling the referral vendor, A Reliable Pool, and still having high water bills (even though I live alone), I called ***. They came out and found the leak for 300.00 on 11/20. The leak was caused by the skimmer throat that Aquatic had replaced. I called Aquatic and he asked why I didn't call them. I tried to explain that I did, but Murray said I didn't have a leak and *** said it would cost 700.00 to fix. The guy at Aquatic said it was an easy fix and wondered why I called ***. He offered to come out, but then he got rude in a text. Don't use this company. I asked for a written warranty for months, but never got it. The owner has been rude to me multiple times and their work is not good. Who replaces a skimmer without cementing it in? Should I let them come back? I want all the money I lost and the high water bills for a year. It's worth paying more for a leak detection company that actually fixes things. ***Update***12/9, I finally had a real leak detection company come out and fix what was done, ***. What happened was they replaced the skimmer, but Aquatic leak detection never put any concrete around the skimmer throat. They just threw the skimmer in there. It was set up to fail. I plan to file a small claims case and report them to the ComplaintsBoard.com. They literally didn't cement it in. And the company that referred me to them, A Reliable Pool service, said they fixed it correctly. I've seen the pictures. I'm just waiting for the report.
