I agree with the last 2 reviews. Had the same experience. They make promises and take your money without results. I needed my pool opened and to replace a filter and chlorinator. They said they'd email me a quote by end of day, but it never happened. My pool still isn't working and they charged me over 700 bucks.

I used Pools of Fun to check out a pool before I bought it. They said it was all good, but I've had nothing but problems since I moved in. I think they messed up the inspection and it cost me a lot of money. I wouldn't recommend them for anything.

Pools of Fun opened our pool and made it look like a dump. They just threw all the trash in the pool. I told them about it and showed them proof, but they didn't care and said they wouldn't do anything about it. I had to go to the attorney general and small claims court because they didn't respect our stuff. I don't suggest using them at all.

I had Pools of Fun come to my place and close my pool up this year and I am so mad about the service and how they acted. They made me pay right away two months ago when I booked the appointment and said they would let me know what time they would come when it was closer to the time. They didn't do that and when I tried to ask what time they would come, I couldn't get in touch with anyone. They called me 15 minutes before they came and messed up my pool. They blew out the lines and put antifreeze in them, but they left my gate and shed open. They didn't even put the cover on my pool or winterize it. I called to tell them what happened and a lady said she would call me back after she talked to her tech. She didn't call me back and I called and emailed them, but they didn't answer. This company only cares about money and doesn't care about their customers or their brand. Don't use them, even if it costs more.

So, I gave Pools of Fun some cash to open my pool on May 18th. But they messed up and burned the pump. They gave me back the money I paid, but I didn't ask for that. I wanted them to fix the pump and open my pool still. But they won't answer my calls and it's already June 14th. I haven't heard anything from them since I complained.

I hired Pools of Fun, Inc. in September to build a pool. They started on May 24, and were supposed to finish in 6 weeks. They only worked on our project for 4 full days, which is only 8% of the time. The deadline is July 2, but they keep saying they won't be done and don't know when they will be. They blame the holdup on a liner we chose 3 months ago. I think they forgot to order it. We paid them for 90% of the work, but they haven't finished much. They need to finish the job right away.

Last year I hired Pools of Fun to put in a pool and a big ol' concrete patio. Most of the patio was okay, but there's this one part that's all messed up. They didn't finish it right and now it's got a bunch of ugly marks on it. Then, in February, they came back to fix some water problem and ended up cutting through the whole slab and messing up a gas line. They tried to clean it up but it didn't work, so they said they'd color stain the whole patio to cover it up. But then they only did the messed up part and used some weird sealer that I didn't even approve. Now the water just sits on top and won't dry, even when it's hot out. I sent them lots of pictures and videos and asked them to fix it, but they said it's not their problem. This patio looks terrible and doesn't work right. I want them to replace it or give me some money so I can hire someone else to fix it.

Pools of Fun (POF) put in our liner on 08/17, about 2 months after the first try. It was a rush job and not done right. Our pool started leaking 2" every day. The installer was mad and threw tools in the pool. He was in a hurry to finish. Leak Master came out and found out the leak was at the step area. The installer broke the molding that holds the liner in place. I saw him do it. He tried to fix it with screws and caulking, but it didn't work. We still lost 1" every day. POF didn't care and even blamed us. Leak Master came back 2 weeks later and said he did all he could. The liner started to pull away from the walls because the installer didn't put in bead lock. He said it was too hard and threw his tool in the pool. We put it in ourselves a week later. They didn't prep the walls or floor like they said they would. There are big ruts in the floor and the walls are uneven. They used screws on the walls that I asked them to cover with tape. They said no. Now, after 2 months, there are tears in the liner where the screws rubbed through. We closed the pool not knowing what will happen next year. The tears in a new liner are not okay. It should last 10 years. They will only get worse if we don't fix it. I have our contract, a letter to POF, and pictures of the work we did. I can't show the tears and bolts, but I can if you ask. POF has seen pictures.
