I have been a customer of Astro since 2015. In February 2022, i decided to change my decoder to ultra box because that would give me better viewing of Astro programs whenever the weather is not good. And i had to sign up for a 24 months contract which will end on 12/2/2025
Since using the ultra box, i find that Astro has been repeating its old programs over and over again. Sometimes the same program is being repeated for weeks continuously. There is no new content or programs at all for the package that i took which is premium pack 1 at RM165.30 per month.
I am truly disappointed with Astro. I wrote to [protected]@astro.com.my on 2/12/23 to request to cancel stating my reasons. No reply.
Today, i decided to call 03-[protected] and spoke to customer agent Lalitia. I was told that i may be subjected to pay penalty of almost RM1,000 for early termination failing which my name will be blacklisted in Citos.
I would not consider this early termination if i am happy with Astro. Please accept my early termination without any charges being incurred
