Hello,
I'm Joharris, Astro user account number [protected]. I want issue complaint regarding action from astro. I request few times to downgrade my package from monthly RM 150 to RM 60 but apparently astro customer service ignore my request or not doing the job by providing various reason which as below:
1) Called on 21/8- Astro personnel will submit requesting report to downgrade as he/she can't d do as under contract
2) Called on 6/9- astro personnel start to submit the report but the downgrade will effective on 6/10.
From above data, show that astro personnel ignore and not submit my application (21/8) on downgrade my package which cause delay and i need to make payment RM 150 again on /before 6/10..
Please look into this or i will take another action or possible not to continue using Astro anymore and inform others regarding this.

Astro technician came to replace decoder but after checking he inform me that the decoder still under manufacture warranty. So cannot replace.
Two week before manufacture technician came and replace the decoder but problem not solve ! We don't want same manufacture technician to attend again !
Wee need solution as soon as possible! If not we will discontinue your service!

A customer service personel called me this evening n told me that i hv a rm96 (Rm96, not rm9600) outstanding balance and asked me to pay the bill. For your information.i was thinking of paying the bill this friday since its payday. However, due to her rudeness, sorry to say, im willing to cut your service. I was your customer for about 10 years already. Due to her rudeness, now i dont want your service anymore. Please take a serious action on your staff. Attached is the nunber of the customer service personal [protected]. Maybe because she called me using her phone number n the call is not recorded, she can bw rude to me. Sorry to say. Im the customer not the other way round.

I have an account with astro however the complaint I raised has not been resolved for the past one and the half years till to date. They have wrongly suspended the account, made me look like a debtor and got third party collection officer to call me numerous times and sent letter to my house which tarnish my reputation within my family.when I called back they easily said that it's the agents fault and waived my charges but I ask them about my tarnish reputation they did not answer. The team manager and even the service manager did not do a proper follow up because they did not take my request seriously. In the event if astro going to take my case seriously I would like the CEO herself to call me at my mobile or write to me via email and if the CEO himself or herself does not reply this shows how much does astro value a customer. I have just spoke to a service manager by the name of Mr loh who read to me about the offer that which is being offered due to lapse of service from agents and managers but when being a customer I did not want to accept the offer and ask for it to be escalated further and to someone higher than him he said that he has the authority to refused it. I have all the prove and I am going to write to the press pertaining to astro poor services and even take it further.

I lodged a report last week regarding IPTV as we are unable to use our wifi but until now the problem is not solved. Sadly, this is not the first time this has happened. Previously, I had to wait for 2 weeks before the service resumes and still paid full amount which is not fair. When I was using TM wifi, they can solve this kind of issue in one day. I really hope you can solve this issue as soon as possiblr or else I am considering to terminate Astro IPTV for good. I am very much dissappointed with your poor service. I faced the similar issue.The internet service are really slow. Download speedtest at peak hours only achieved between 6 to 8Mbps. I'm having a 10 Mbps fiber broadband. Instead of solving the problem they just delay by sending email asking for this and that. Usual excuse is they didn't receive your email or your attachments, etc.
It's very frustration as I'm a Maxis fibre user for many years and I have not had any major issue. The problem start when I plot over to Astro IP TV.

Please check my decoder because while I m watching any channel suddenly the programme or that channel was pending and hang. It is take a long time for 30 min. What I see display on my to that my box is always starting. It's not about my bill.

I couldn't view any of the channel. It says "This channel is not available". But I could use the Astro home internet service. The same problem happened to my neighbours at the same time. I called Astro for 40min but didn't pickup. Some of my neighbours managed to get through and the technicians came but could not solve the problem. They said the problem was in Maxis. We have no idea how & when would it be resolved.

Have been calling Astor customer service since (25/07/17) @20:47 am regarding to bad services Astro and Internet issue and someone did told me that they will send tech guy call us WITHIN 48 HOURS (standard procedure). Again on 27.07.2017 i call astro customer service
@16:23 pm and again they ask to wait WITHIN 48 HOURS and their technical team will call us . [censor]. Today 28.07.2017 @13:22 pm already more than 48 HOURS still nobody technical team call us. Come on guys, please upgrade your communication system. Do i have to pay for the services that i didnt use? You guys can compensate me back on my bill for what i have lost but did you know that I lost so much for Internet service

I have been calling astro customer service since yesterday(18/07/17) regarding to my scna issue and someone did told me that they will send tech guy today(19/07/17) at 9am. But until now 4pm there is nobody coming and i have to call the customer service again and all they just said was asking me either the tech guy has coming or not. Come on guys, please upgrade your communication system. Ishhh not that lahhh." dude, if we know how to do it by our own definately we r not calling you asking for a help! I really hope, that astro team take this as a serious matter and this complaint board function. Felt so much annoying and regret all of sudden purchased this channel just only cause your agent/worker rudeness and helpless attitude. On April 5th, I've been contact by your telesales officer (you may refer email trail), to offer an upgrade of HD Service with a rebate of RM8.80 for A YEAR! I believe from the day I have agreed by phone conversation is on April. so the rebates should be from April 17 - April 18 and I have also ask is there any other charges for the upgrade, your staff just inform me only additional RM8.80 will be add to my current bill for a year and nothing else. Unfortunately for 1st month bill after upgrade to HD Service. I am shock that you charge me a normal rate for HD SERVICE RM 26.50 + UPGRADE FEE RM 15.39. so the total i need to pay for the FIRST MONTH BILL is RM 84.25. I am so upset as i never failed to pay the bill on time for the past 4 years subscription. I didn't see any rebate of RM 8.80 as being offered on my 1st HD upgrade bill. Please i need explanation on this matters and please contact me.

I am the existing Njoy customer and ask to convert as Astro customer since 3 years ago.
Today, I request to convert my astro account back to Njoy which contract finished 2 years ago. Astro mandate me to pay a fees of RM 500 ++ for the conversion. Inclusive of downgrade fees and decorder fees.
I feel unreasonable charges and logged a coMplain here and wish to get an explanation. I could not see any term and condition apply when agree to conversion from Njoy to astro ...
astro go advertisement
Dear Astro Advertisement Department,
We notice so far there are 3 advertisements shown whenever we open our Astro TV channels, the terrible and horrifying pictures came out with someone throwing away the televisions or use the hammer to break the TV screen made us feel very uncomfortable and angry.
Is there any other ways to show even no TV at all, you can see programmes by hand phones. Have you ever think, if everyone follow suit, then their eyes sights will be getting worse, also a faster way lead to blindness.
We hope you all can evaluate this and change to a more loving advertisements, we love to see a more harmonious advertisement instead of a violent one, especially came out from Astro. Thank you.

Got a call from a lady representing astro to give me discount for HD package. Had been charge normal price for the last 2 month. call astro customer service but problem not settle despite lots of assurance and promises. Almost every month has to call them. now fed up. such a big company built on lie and cheating. Bad for Malaysians. if i cancel they will charge RM10 for changing channel. What to do?

We found the Astro Go advertisement is very disturbing and violence.
And its was airing all the time. Even my daughter and my grand parent found it annoying.
Is it your creative team run out of idea?
What is the message you trying to bought to your audience?
Shouldn't the advertisement be safe/comfort to everyone viewing?
By bringing such violence advertisement/message, what respond you intend to get from your customer?
tara hd channel 108
Why don't the hindi serials in tara hd - channel 108 have subtitles most of the time... Getting very very irritated at your service... V were getting subtitles for the hindi serials n y did it stop... Paying promptly but not getting our dues
Is this the kind of service v are supposed to get in spite of paying so much... Nid an explanation and pls provide the subtitles immediately...
Pls include better hindi movies in channel 108 too... Too many repetitions...
i would really like an explanation from the astro why are the movie serials not following the seasons and it stops abruptly...
Example: The serial 'Suits' started with season 6...n now showing season 5..what is happening with astro staff..aren't they aware that v should watch season 1 -5 before watching season 6...ridiculous...
Next is Alias...finished season 1 and nxt week season 2 is ending but theres no continuity for season 3- 5...any explanation for that...
And the same goes for the serial 'Castle', my gal was complaining that the so-called efficient astro didnt continue with season 3... .v astro subscribers really nid an explanation for this...its either u start a serial n finish showing all the seasons or not show at all...its really dumb...
And as i complained earlier, TARA Hd channel, doesn't provide subtitles for the hindi serials most of the time...how can this happen n is this the way to treat yr subscribers...before was the zee tv n it was free and now remember v r paying for all the channels and this what v get...even today n yesterday the hindi serial 'Madhubala' did not have subtitles...at least repeat the episode with subtitles if possible...yeh hai mohabbatein doesnt have subtitles most of the time..wht r yr staff doing
vaanavil 50 show at 9pm thursday a humiliation and disgrace to tamil audiences
Vaanavil channel showed a documentary highlighted an episode of Isha temple where Hindus praying there, a great video but the host was a disgrace as he talked 75% English mixed with 25% Thamizh whereby 100% of viewers are Thamizh, this type of language mixing host is a disgrace and embarrassing the Astro station programs as a whole. If Thamizh program why do Astro encourage useless joker's who don't have Thamizh language proficiency to host the shows? If Astro keep on keeping idiotic host who mix English in their Thamizh then audiences will start to blame Astro lack of competency or handicapped to prepare good programs.

A/c number: [protected]... I had reacieved a pre-recording call continuity 4 days to ask me make payment when I am confinement period. I can't arrange my payment since is a recording call. So the line interrupt yesterday and today I received a call again and I request my astro account number and customer careline 03-[protected] for me to make payment. I started to call the mentioned number from 15:14pm 3 minutes, 15:18pm 8minutes, 16:46pm 4 minutes just keep telling me I will be serve asap until line auto disconnected.. Finally 16:50pm 5minutes, that's a lady staff answer my call, I request to make one month payment to reactivate the astro line fisrt, she ask me to hold the line, I hold it for around 2 minutes the line suddently cut off to cause me failed to make payment. And the staff never call me back as well. I am so angry about this. I am feeling that astro annoying me, wasted my time, wasted my phone chargers. Please do something to solve and upgrade the problems I mentions.

Good morning...im Ghafar from melaka. My astro account number is [protected]..I want to make a complaint about the problem occurred to my decoder where its interrupted with error S1 (sila pastikan kad pintar astro anda dimasukkan dengan betul)..it sound something like that. Its happened frequently when to switch on the decoder and the error notes pop up for a long time...
