Beware - they will charge your credit card without authorization
In August 2022, I ordered and paid for the book service - $2,590.00. I regret ever doing that! In August 2023, I received an email informing me that my subscription would be renewed in 15 days. I immediately sent them an email explicitly telling them to cancel. A sales person called me to persuade me not to cancel and offered to extend the cancellation date to 11/7/23. At no time did I ever indicate that I would be renewing. On 11/3/23, I sent them another email - again explicitly telling them to cancel and confirm. On 11/8/23, they charged my credit card $2,590.00. This is nothing short of theft!
Recommendation: DO NOT give them your credit card information!

Alex is the very BEST! Do you want your Authorify books to represent you in the best way possible? Then you need to ask Alex to help you make them perfect. Not only is he friendly and easy to work with, but he is knowledgeable, thorough, meticulous, observant and able to find small mistakes that most people would never see. He pays attention to how each page looks. For instance: Is the font size correct and easy to read? Does the format look good? Are there any misspelled words? (These books are also sold in Canada. Canadian dont always spell words the same way we do in the U.S. Alex will catch that.) Do the numbers representing the prices of properties in the book also represent the prices in YOUR market? Very important. Alex will do all this and more. Ask for Alex ***!

This is an amazing program from top to bottom. They make it very easy to build your own thoughts for your book, so you can make it your own and stand out amongst your peers and to target a particular area you would like to focus on. Big thanks to my success coach. He made the intro meeting very easy and did an excellent job showing me all around the site, featuring the many tools that they offer to hit the ground running with your book. He was very helpful and had a solution to all my questions about marketing and just simply how to market it the best and most effective way when time to do so. I strongly recommend this setup if you are trying to launch and get you and your business out there by the masses!

I signed up for the trail period for 30days. I spoke with someone about this account and due to me not calling them to cancel they have been charging me 97 a month. The amount charging and no use of the services I feel are not ethical as well as understanding to the consumer. I requested some or all of my money back, they refused to provide any type of refund. I recommend reading or making sure you have money to waist. It has been a rough year for me and my company. I have not used the website they provided or spoke with anyone about this until today. It's just said they are not willing to give me any of my money back. Just isn't fair and I would not recommend *** to any of my fellow agents...seems like since the pandemic people love to get over on those who are suffering from this pandemic.

The system that Authorify has is very user friendly and easy to understand. They have everything that you may need to be successful. Everything is for you to succeed. *** is my coach and he explained everything in so much detail. Not to mention this is still the free trail period. Love the company!
Signing up with Authorify was so easy, and the process to set up your site/book was incredibly smooth with the assistance of their dedicated team that guided me step by step. Everyone was so patient and made sure I understood every part of the process. They ensured I was familiar with their site, from training videos to templates and live coaching.

Authorify's services offer a unique and fun way to promote agents online, the innovation of using books to advertise our consultation services as well as *** services is what excites me the most. I was so moved by *** friendly customer service, and listening ear. She gave me professional advice over all, besides offering Authorify's services, which which I still think about to this day. She paired me with Mr. Capos, who has been one of the most helpful reps I've ever encountered. He took the time to fully explain all aspects of the site, and services offered by Authorify. I was blown away at his tenacity and persistence in reaching me, though our schedules kept colliding. I recommend Authorify to every *** who wants to stand apart from the rest, and have access to an user friendly site, that offers great opportunities for lead generation.

Ary was fantastic
Ary was fantastic. She listened to my questions and took time for me and did not rush me in any way. Patience is one of her virtues. She walked me through setting up the landing page and how to set it up on *** She also went over how to copy the link and paste it into an email, text and SMS. also briefly went through email sequences, which she said we will go over more in the next zoom meeting. As well she made some helpful suggestions for my next book. She went so far as to say reach out any time I need her help. Digital marketing platform is great. So far the service and friendliness of *** and *** have been excellent. I can not wait to see all this in action and be able to help even more buyers and seller. Ary is truly an asset to Authorify. The other thing that I really really appreciated is that she is located in another country and speaks very clear and calmly. Thank you very much I sure do appreciate all you have done so far.

As a realtor I thought that writing a book about the impending Foreclosure boom would be educational and used as a marketing tool. 1- All the info I put into my book is not there. Authorify sent me 50 books with my name on it- INCOMPLETE- The discovery is shattering, to my professional standing and represents what this organization thinks of the consumers who will read this book right now i'm on the phone with Jess, She is the 6th person I've dealt with in the 9 month ordeal. She. wants ME to send her a copy of the last page of book which they have on the digital program ! This book is to be a consumer guide you can't leave the end of the book unexplained. I want all my money back. I'm sick of run-around and I intend to go to the Attorney Generals office with this complaint as the ComplaintsBoard.com does good reporting but it seems your siding with the Publisher. in the 13 complaints sent in on this publisher- I'm not happy - just as i'm starting a marketing campaign using the book. I give Authorify 4/5 stars. But, the only reason I didn't give Authorify 5 stars is I just finished printing my 1st set of books and haven't had the chance to get them out into the hands of potential clients. I am very impressed with the book including all the accurate information and research the ghostwriters put into it. I'm very impressed with the company, customer service, and training online. I believe as soon as I go to the 1st listing appointment, the seller will be so impressed that I will come back and change my rating to 5 stars. I believe this book will help me get those million dollar plus listings that I haven't connected with so far. The book was easy to revise and edit so I could really make the content mine. I have had a lot of training in real estate including certifications, designations and working in a company where top agents have always shared their secrets with me. Basically, the book before any revisions, would have been spot on. However, I wanted to make the book mine so I changed and expounded on examples and elaborated and deleted content to make it more consise b/c I really wanted to feel I wrote at least 50 percent.

I was surprised to learn about all the other book customized subjects, services, templates, coaching, and training available to me after I signed up to work with Authorify after my trail period. Especially the help offered to set up the *** My Business" profile to integrate into this. I would have signed up for the initial services I was told about in the real estate divorce seminar. My expectations keep being exceeded with all that is offered to me along with all the onboarding responsiveness and help. My first call was with ***, who was amazing to talk with for the above the clouds understanding about everything Authorify offers for *** agents. I skipped the trial period and signed up for the full membership so I could hit the ground running right away. My next call was with *** who dived into the onboarding details and helped me set up the *** My Business" page. I keep telling everyone I speak with that they are exceeding my expectations continually for what I'm paying and what I'm receiving! It's so rare to have a business do this!

These people have literally stolen money from me! I've been fighting with them for four months! The add was on IG (trial period for $1) signed up for the trial period... tried to create my books... talked to robots online because it wasn't working... than found out it was $5 not $1, so I told them go ahead and pull the $4 out! They said sorry too late for that promo. I told them OKAY than Never mind than. Months later I can see theyve pulled $129 out of my account numerous times! When I called, they said when I signed up for the $1 trial period, they automatically signed me up for a membership program that cost $129 per month! This is the first trial period product Ive done, so I dont that these companies try to scam and mislead people like this! When I called and informed them that week 2 of the trial period, I told them never mind... They told me they must investigate I told them thats fine because I used ZERO of the services. The manager called me back and said that I didnt clearly say the words CANCEL MY ACCOUNT that they are NOT going to refund months of the automatic pull! I have three kids and Im a new realtor. these people are frauds and do not respect good business practices... they keep putting me on hold saying someone will call me and nothing! Ary gives phenomenal customer service and advice. She is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and you can hear the smile in her voice. She is definitely the go to person. I also attend the weekly trainings on Wednesday with ***, also another phenomenal person. The live zooms are awesome. *** teaches so much and he interacts with us, not only that he give us a replay 30 seconds after class is over, but wait it gets even better. He send us an email of the replay. Who could ask for any more? Laughin is also one of the trainers with *** and she's right there with him. Another phenomenal person. Each week we are learning something new, getting knowledge, growing, interacting, meeting new people and networking. This company Authorify has so much to offer. !WARNING! Please note all of the fake reviews on this site from people before even using the product of this company. If you sort reviews from lowest t highest you will see the consistent poor business practices this company has. This business will do anything to get your money and keep it regardless of your experience. I was called about a $7.00 trial and told the representative I did not have time to set things up and may not be able to get to setting it up right away so was apprehensive about the trial. He assured me he would work with me on time. You can not even use the trial until you have a meeting with someone and have them set up your site and get books to you. I did not have time to set any of this up and tried to go online to cancel but could not find a way online. I then emailed and was written back saying I needed to make a call. When I was finally able to make the call, instead of extending my trial period, they charged me $*** and refused to refund that whether I had the trial experience or not. Their solution was to still give me the trial experience but now for the $ ***. Each person I spoke with just continued to repeat the same words over and over talk about the terms. Clearly this non-refund and no extension even if an unused trial, is a policy. This is a clear sign of not caring about customer satisfaction, and shows the lack of ability for the company to come to good solutions to keep peoples business. Any company that makes it difficult to cancel online in this digital age, is clearly trying to keep peoples money and stop them from cancelling. After talking to two people and them refusing to let me speak to management (it's a *** hour wait time), I had to contact my bank.

Before I wrote this review I started reading other complaints about this company, and for as much as I feel used, I saw other people lost a lot more money and funny enough, when you read their replies, it seems they are experts in turning things in a way that it looks it was your fault and your responsibility and not theirs for their bad business practices. I entered in a "free" one month's trial during one of their webinars, of course after giving them my credit card info. One of their representatives made a call the next day that for any tech issues I was not able to answer, and I tried calling them and sent them several emails at that same time, first 1-4 minutes, and all I got was an email later saying that I had missed my time (15 min) slot. I thought that was impossible since I was dialing the person's number back and she never picked up. Of course, I never felt compelled to schedule again. Then 30 days later when I check my credit card statement, I found a charge for 97 dollars and no explanations. I call and complain and they said it was my responsibility to cancel up to one day before the end of the free trial. I ask how could I, if you never called or emailed to ask if I wanted your service, and there was no way for them to remove the charge. Of course, I also had emailed them, it took them 6 days to reply to my email to tell me I should have canceled that it was not their responsibility. Then they called to offer me other services! Of course, I do not recommend or want anything to do with this horrible company that tricks people into false ads or services that only look nice but then they do not deliver or take any responsibility. They also said they would not charge again so I lost almost $100, and have to keep checking my statement because I do not trust them they will not charge me again without my consent.

I signed up for the free trial for Authorify because I thought the idea seemed cool. During the first month, I realized I was too busy to utilize the service. I requested an extension of the free trial when the salesperson tried to upsell me on their highest membership. I was informed they would get back to me. I received complete radio silence from the company from this point onwards. Authorify doesn't provide a clear way to cancel your trial or a clear billing date as actual reputable companies would provide. This is especially problematic when I didn't even know if I had an open trial going anymore. Given the silence from Heidi and Ary (two main points of contact at this point), I had every reason to believe that my free trial extension was simply denied. I certainly didn't have a way to check or even a person I could contact about this. Imagine my surprise when they recently blindsided me with a charge for their highest package. I first tried to just plead my case with the company, which magically became very responsive. I gave them every chance to make it right. Unfortunately, I received nothing but the utmost contempt from each person along the way. I was told that they would escalate my request to the member retention manager who would get back to me in 24-48 business hours. What great customer service. Ashley, the manager of member retention, had even more contempt for me than others. I was very respectful. I gave just enough details about my situation without being too wordy. I even made it clear that I wanted to do business again with the company in the future. Unfortunately, it was clear from Ashley's response to me that she did not even try to understand my situation. She told me that she won't read or reply to any response I might give. She even more or less told me to just go ahead and dispute it with my financial institution. Well, I did. Don't you worry. What a truly unfortunate situation. If Authorify had reasonable customer service, I would probably do business with them in the future. Their products are legitimately fascinating. It's way too bad that I can't possibly revisit them after my disgusting experience.

I only signed up for free 90 day service how ever with out the credit card information I couldn't sign up. I have never used this service but I realized that the company has withdrawn 147 every month from my credit card for over 6 months. this is disgusting that they trap you in to a contract. I decided this was not ethical and I wouldn't be continuing a membership. Without notifying me, they charged my credit card $197 for the next month's membership. I emailed right away and hadn't used any of their service after the trial period. *** clearly showed customer service is not important to her and that she would NOT refund my money. I would not recommend doing business with this company as they are interested in their profit only, not your success.

I signed up with Authorify in May . My profile was never set up and the posts were never posted, yet I was charged for their service for 2 consecutive months. I emailed requesting that I be credited back for those two months, and never heard a response. One month later I requested to terminate my subscription and mentioned that I still was waiting for the credit refund, and their response was that it could not be credited back! Beware of doing business with this company!

Signed up for a $7 trial for 10 books. Never received the 10 books. They make it seem like you will continue to get books each month. This is misleading. I never used their service and was charged 2 months at $97, plus the $7 trial. Company refuses to refund for unused services. Company tries their hardest to point blame at the customer, but the fact that they won't refund for services not used further explains what type of company they are running. After reading the other complaints, it's quite obvious this business runs a crooked scheme. They also bill you under different names so when you search for Authorify in your bank statement, it only pops up one time. At this point, I'm not even for certain that my service has been cancelled. But will continue to report until $194 is refunded.

In March, I saw an add on Facebook about help with my Real Estate Business. I watched a video and thought that perhaps this might help me since I'm just starting out. I believed that the price for the deluxe program was $1000 which was a lot since I'm just starting out, but thought that you have to spend money to make money. It was billed to my credit card which I never gave another thought to. When the bill came I didn't notice the charge because I had charged another item which I thought had landed on the bill. When the next bill came and I realized that there was $1000 on the bill then I had thought there should be, I did some investigating. Low and behold, there was a $1970 charge for the course. I called the company to request a cancellation. I said that I was willing to pay for the books and services that I received but was denied. That's why I'm filling out this complaint.

I signed up for their Smartagents monthly magazine in December. It is supposed to be delivered to 50 people (my clients) every month in the first week of the month. The December edition arrived in January, with the January edition. The Feb and March editions NEVER were delivered. My rep, *** was great, until this happened at which point he ignored every attempt to reach him. I paid $1489...and I basically got absolutely nothing and they refuse to engage me in discussions about a refund. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism and customer service. It has been one of the most frustrating experiences of my professional life. They essentially stole $1489 from my marketing budget, and then refused to take my calls. I have tried to reach them to discuss a refund and they avoid my calls, tell me they will call me back later, or have a manager call me back later...and it never happens. They are clearly avoiding me, and clearly trying to steal my money.

When I needed a bio written for a book that I purchase through them, which I was told that they do, I was informed that they don't do any writing like that. I'd have to write it myself then put it in the book. It took them 2 months to even help me with what they call "implementation". When I've called to complain and ask to cancel, they give me the run around. Authorify just keeps telling me I'm in a contract and they won't stop or cancel my account. I have stated over and over to them this is not what I was sold and they don't care. I stopped payment on their monthly fee, next thing I know is I was charged from a different Company called SmartAgents. Come to find out it is Authorify! Authorify is who I originally signed up with not SmartAgents. This company is fraudulent! Disgraceful!

I had a FREE trial to check out Authorify after participating in one of their webinars. Before my FREE trial ended, I contacted the company to cancel my subscription. In fact, I sent them 2-3 notifications of my option to cancel. I received a call and email back from one of their sales people, pretty much begging me to try the subscription. I told them after checking out their product, I was not interested in the subscription at this time, as it is not cheap. She (***) told me she understood my concern. I then got a call/email a day or so later offering me an additional 30 days FREE along with a credit for 8 FREE books. I told her that I appreciated the FREE offer, but I still did NOT want to pay for the subscription ($97.00/month), as I could not afford that at this time. She said that was fine. I just received my credit card statement today 04/21, and noticed that on 4/07 they submitted a charge of $97.00 that posted to my credit card on 4/09.

I took a webinar July 3rd. Talk about ways to advertise a book you could use as advertising. In the webinar it states you will get 10 books for $7. as a trial. I gave the $7 to see the book. I was told in a call that day we do not get 10 books but there are 10 credits for books and you have to be subscribed to a membership to received them. Lie I asked what the memberships were, she gave a $97 basic plan and a premium plan of $197. She said u sign an agreement for 12 months. I told her No that would not work for me, I asked for the book I paid for. I got the book Mid July. On 7/21 *** sent a text message which is attached asking me to subscribe and I stated No not at this time. I hadn't heard back so I called Sunday 8/1 they must be closed. Sent an email 8/2 and notice in evening a charge for $197. I didn't sign anything I said NO. Webinar did not send any email stating any rules I agreed to look at a book. If you can't send a copy of anything it didn't happen so I want $

I paid $1,497 for a 90 day marketing campaign by a company called Authorify for Smart Agents. I was to send them 20 "distressed homeowner" leads every month for 3 months and they would contact these homeowners on my behave and make appointments for me to list their properties for sale under what they call the "Done for You" campaign. I sent them 60 homeowner leads(Pre-foreclosures, Estate properties, Vacant properties, etc) over the course of 90 days. At the end of the 90 day "Done for You" campaign I had received ZERO responses from any of the Homeowner leads I had supplied. I called my contact person(***) at Authorify and she essentially tried to get me to purchase another 90 day "Done for You" campaign which I was not willing to do. I asked to speak with Customer Service and after waiting a few days with no response I called Customer Service myself. I ended up speaking with the person who originally sold me the "Done for You" campaign(***) who suggested a 30 day extention with an additional 20 leads(for a total of 80 leads) and I complied. After 30 more day(120 days total) I had received ZERO response from any of the homeowners. I called Customer Service again and asked for a refund because they hadn't delivered what they promised. I was told they don't give refunds. I feel like this company is taking advantage of consumers all across the country, please help. Thanks

I ordered 10 books to be published for $7 right after Palm Sunday, for a promotion they were advertising to have printed books made. After running across several snags, my published books got delayed, and also as a result of my business picking up slightly, keeping me busy. I've been communicating with *** on the issues and having to re-do the books via the link that was sent to me. After finally getting through all the bugs, I was finally able to complete the digital book, ready to be published. Prior to finalizing the book, I cancelled my $97 monthly subscription, so as to save money during this financial crisis. During my conversations with ***, it was never mentioned that in order to get the books, I would need to keep my subscription. On approximately June 3rd, my 10 books arrived, and as I'm getting ready to send some out on Friday, I noticed that the changes I made in the book that I put together, were not the ones that printed, and *** and I even looked at what I put together and confirmed that everything was correct. After contacting *** and Authorify, *** was going to look into what happened and let me know what happened. A few days later, I get a call from ***, explaining to me that even though they goofed with the printing, that because I cancelled my subscription, that they could no longer print the books unless I paid again, which I was willing to do at a discounted price, and she was even willing to print 10 extra books at no additional cost. *** did try calling me a couple of times after that, but I was on other calls, but when I tried calling her back, I was not getting any responses, and the next thing I know, I get an e-mail from her saying that "after further review, they were cancelling my initial $7 subscription, and unable to reprint the books."
