Autos 2 Rent FL Rented a car for August 6- August 10

Rented a car for August 6- August 10. Had my deposit held for one month and still haven't received it. Called TWO numbers XXXXXXXXXX and XXXXXXXXXX. The first number sent me straight to voicemail and finally spoke to someone with the second number on September 11 who name is ***. This business place needs to be investigated because they're spammers!

I had a rental car booked through a third-party service, from September 2nd through September 5th. Upon arrival, I realized that this was not an airport rental car location. The online advertisement did not mention anything about additional supplemental insurance. I have pictures of the advertisement from the internet. Furthermore, they required a $30 hold in case the rental car passed through a toll booth without paying, which is ridiculous.

Additionally, on the morning of September 5th, when I was scheduled to return my car for a 7:30 AM flight, there was no one at the rental office. This caused me to have to find alternative transportation to the airport since the rental service did not offer a shuttle. Upon reaching the airport, I called the rental office and was informed that the employee was running late to work.

Deceiving and unethical business practices are rampant with this company. They advertise enticing package deals on car rentals and then find loopholes to retain the consumer's deposit or impose unjustified fees. The pattern is evident in their online reviews. I returned my rental car early in the morning at 5:30 am due to an early flight at 6:15 am. The drop-off location was at a beachside city, where I had enjoyed the weekend in a rented convertible. Despite returning the car punctually and in good condition, with only a minor presence of beach sand on the floor mats, they accused me of smoking in the vehicle. I am a non-smoker, and I had the top down throughout my use. They slapped me with a $252 cleaning fee on top of the $260 rental charge, which was a significant increase from the initial quote of $180. When I attempted to contest the fee, I was met with evasion and ultimately dismissed. I was already en route back home when this occurred. My efforts to resolve the issue, including discussions with various representatives and enduring long hold times, ended with an insult from a company agent and a disconnection. In response, I have reached out to my bank to halt the payment, involved the police, sought legal counsel, and am now writing to you. A trip that was supposed to cost $390 has escalated to nearly $700, which is money taken directly from my family's budget. I am determined to seek justice for this situation. The number of similar complaints raises the question of why such practices have been allowed to continue unchecked. Immediate action is necessary.

The location was a popular coastal city, and as expected, I enjoyed a drive to the beach in the rented convertible. Despite returning the vehicle punctually and in good condition, with only a minor presence of beach sand on the floor mats, they accused me of smoking in the car. I am not a smoker, and the vehicle was a convertible, which I drove with the top down throughout the weekend. Autos 2 Rent FL I had a rental car booked for Sep 2nd-5th, but at pickup, realized it wasn't at the airport.

I had a rental car reserved for September 2nd to 5th, but upon pickup, I discovered it wasn't an airport rental. The online ad didn't mention extra insurance. They also held $30 in case of tolls without an EZ Pass, which is ridiculous. On September 5th, when I was to return the car for a 7:30 flight, no one was there, forcing me to take a taxi. Later, I called the rental office and was told the employee was late to work.

Autos 2 Rent FL Rented a *** on August 6

Rented a *** on August 6. On August 11 got a blow out tire on the freeway going 65-70 miles per hour, made it over to the side safely, which looking at he condition of the tire, I could have easily gotten into an accident and killed myself, my nine year old son in the car and who knows who else. I call my insurance company for roadside assistance, they come in 30 min or so, they take the donut tire out of the trunk and say it is flat which they have to fill before putting it back on. I am on vacation, I drive back to my resort which is 5 min away, call the Green Motion Rental Car Company (Green Car International) and the agent takes my phone number and says she will have someone call me back that night or the next morning. No one calls, so I call around 11:30 the next morning, I had plans I Wanted to do that day. No one answers when I call and I leave a message. About 30 min later, someone calls and said they did not listen to my message and start explaining what happened, they said the did not get the message from the day before, I stop and ask for the manager or supervisor, they say there is no one there. I go through the situation of the say before and tell them I need a new tire or another car to use since the donut is not safe to use and still have several days left of things I wanted to so with my son this week. He says to bring the car in and he can get me another car. The car rental place is 20-25 min away, I get there and they refuse to replace the tire without charging me $90 for a new tire. I told him that this is not right. The other three tires are good. THe one that blew was well worn and in need of replacement. Informed of the replacement tire being flat and they did not care. The manager called me back later and told me the same thing! I paid for an unsafe car and that is not right. THey put the safety of myself and child in their hands knowing they had a bum tire on that rental car. I have pictures on my phone I can sent to an email address.
