I ain't gonna lie, I was pretty skeptical about Backstreet Surveillance at first. I mean, the prices seemed pretty steep to me and I wasn't sure if it was worth it. But boy was I wrong! After talking to Mac and his daughter, I realized that the quality of their products is top-notch and totally worth the investment.

Sure, there may be some issues here and there, but what company doesn't have those? And honestly, the customer service at Backstreet Surveillance is so great that any issues I did have were quickly resolved. Plus, the peace of mind that comes with having a reliable surveillance system is priceless.

Overall, I would definitely recommend Backstreet Surveillance to anyone looking for high-quality security cameras. Don't let the prices scare you off - trust me, it's worth it in the long run.

I had a pretty bad experience with Backstreet Surveillance. I had to return a dvr that was defective, and it was a real hassle. They sent me the wrong replacement dvr at first, and then when they finally sent me the right one, it didn't even have a hard drive in it. What's the point of having a dvr without a hard drive? It was really frustrating, and I had to wait for 3 months before I finally gave up and bought a hard drive from Amazon.

To make matters worse, they charged me $300 for the dvr, even though it was defective and they didn't even send me the right replacement. I'm currently disputing the charge with my credit card company, because I don't think it's fair that I should have to pay for something that doesn't work.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend Backstreet Surveillance. Their customer service was really lacking, and it was a huge hassle to deal with them. If you're looking for a reliable surveillance system, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

I gotta say, I've had some issues with my Backstreet Surveillance cameras. I had two of 'em where the night vision just stopped workin', and another one that was just plain faulty. But when I called 'em up, they tried to tell me it was just hot spots. I ain't no expert, but when I replaced that camera with a new one, those hot spots magically disappeared.

And don't even get me started on the installer they sent out. He did a decent job with the installation, but when it came to runnin' the software, he was clueless. I had to figure it all out on my own.

And let me tell ya, their system is way too complicated. They assume you know how to do all these simple things, like copy a small portion of your video or change your password. But I ain't no tech whiz, and it took me forever to figure it all out.

Overall, I ain't too impressed with Backstreet Surveillance. They need to step up their game if they wanna keep customers happy.

I got myself a 4 camera system from Backstreet Surveillance about 11 months ago. Unfortunately, I had to return and receive 4 replacement cameras since then. That's not a good track record, if you ask me. A camera should work correctly for at least a year without anything going wrong with it.

I believe the root of the problem is that the cameras and parts are made in China. The reputation of Chinese-made products is that they use cheap parts and slave labor, especially since cameras are complicated. Backstreet Surveillance needs to check that their cameras work correctly before sending them to customers.

Tech support in the USA is a good thing, but they can't remotely fix defective parts. It's important to have a reliable product that works as intended, especially when it comes to security cameras. I hope Backstreet Surveillance takes this feedback seriously and improves their product quality.
