Ordered a 9' LIGHTED Silverado Christmas tree. Used one year, still under warranty and lights in certain sections do not work. Called Customer service on November 13th, 2023, a few weeks before Christmas, only to be told we would need to have separate lights sent to us. These would be lights that would need to be strung as if we did not pay $900.00 for a prelit tree. Then when the curt representative ended the call he advised us that the lights are backordered. So now we will not have a Christmas tree. The reason we ordered from Balsam Hill was because of the great reputation we THOUGHT this company had.
We requested a new top section of the tree, which is where the issue seems to be and were told absolutely not. The cost of this defective tree ($900.00) may not seem like much to some, but for us, a retired couple, it is HUGE! Balsam Hill seems to have sunk to new levels and their customer service leaves something to be desired. We are sick about this. They have not only destroyed our confidence in their company and products but our Christmas as well.
Claimed loss: $900.00 plus tax and shipping
Desired outcome: We would like either a replacement that actually works or our money back!!!
