I sent my complaints to BDO's 'contact us' email page thrice and got an acknowledgement receipt for them both on June 17, 2018, June 13, 2018 and June 9, 2018.
Beyond the acknowledgement however, I did not receive any information on what will be the positive actions that BDO will take with regards to such concerns that I mentioned in my emails.
Please note that my said emails were just to follow up my call on May 25, 2018 with reference number [protected].
I paid my credit card again two days ago without seeing my account balance. since I have not been receiving my bills/statement of account since February 2018 and the call center service has confirmed this to me.
I am traveling in Africa where there are no available toll free call numbers.

Please teach your staff that when someone is opening an account, you do not be cold and rude. If we are opening an international account, why do we need to line up to deposit the money while the person before us didn't.
My mum and I went there expecting a good service, and was very disappointed. The Makati-VA rufino branch was better than this.
I would blame the manager more than the staff as he isn't doing anything about it. He can see what is happening and just turned a blind eye.
Do something. Follow your motto. It's very disappointing and doesn't make me trust BDO.

I am in Thailand, i have money in my debit card but could not withdraw today. Card reader also do not recognize. I was so embarassed because I was already in the place of purchase. I tried calling the international hotline numbers for more than 2 hours! But no answer!
I asked my brother in the Philipiines to transfer money as last option through mobile banking but it is under maintenance. BDO is a garbage!

I tried to withdraw today May 29, 2018 at around 6:30am at BDO located in banawe st corner n.s. amoranto but unfortunately after i had input the amount and my pin number then wait for the cash the machine hanged up and me and my sister informed the guard and the guard told us to just wait but the machine reset after almost 5mins of waiting. Upon checking the balance with other atm machine (pnb) the said money that i was going to withdraw was already deducted (10k) what should i do? Can i get my money back? Im from night shift duty and i cant wait til 9am for the bank to open. But im going to go back this afternoon to report what happened

I tried to withdraw 10k (10, 000php) today MAY 20, around 11AM) in a BDO ATM Machine right outside Savemore Supermarket in Suki Market Dapitan, Manila, but the ATM Machine did not dispense cash. I called the attention of the guard on duty and he referred me to the customer service lady of Savemore. The woman, whom I was not able to get the name, then, tried calling the Call center hotline. After several attemps she told me the line was busy. I told her, that it is the problem with the call center hotlines that services local business, its difficult to contact them. They make you wait for hours until you just give up.
i am kinda aware that the money will not be credited back to me anytime soon, based on what my friends had told me before. The thing is what if I am totally reliant to that money, and what if the person really needs that money asap. Today is Sunday, which means, banks are closed today except the ones inside the mall. So I since we could not contact your hotline, I went to to the nearest mall SM San Lazaro BDO, they were open but the guards on the door informed me that the "SYSTEM" is down. What kind of a [censored] was that! I got in, told the teller about my situation, and offerd to call the hotline. She got thru immediately, apparrently there's a number you can call, a directline, wherein, waiting time is less than usual. And again the SYSTEM is down, and they could not check my balance or transaction history. What the [censored] BDO! WTF
What frustrates me is that no one ever attempted to get my full name, and other details pertaining to the complaint. Losing 10, 000php is not a joke, it is a a months salary of some people. I did call your hotline, and as always, I got the same answer The SYSTEM is offline, can't do anything about it! And I say [censored] give me your manager! After few minutes, the CS came back to me and offered to get my name, card no., acct no etc., you know why? because I insisted that she should get my details, write it down on a piece of paper, if you don't have MSWORD on your computer, then as soon as the SYSTEM goes up, type the freaking report, assure your customer that they will do every [censored]ing thing in their power to MAKE THINGS RIGHT! That is how GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE WORKS! Our country the PHILIPPINES is the littered with call center companies that services top business abroad and they were GOOD! Now why can't you do the same. Do not let the customer feel like she can't do anything when that customer just lost 10k and it would take quite sometime to recover that money, worst is make them call again, we don't have the whole day to to attend to your whims.

I tried to do the cash availment for installment card but it was declined from the branch that I visited, I was advised to go to another branch and issue occured. I called bdo contact center and I had the worst experience ever being on hold for too long and provided with mis info. I talked to one of the sup on shift named ronnie dimaano and he was not helpful at all. He just merely repeated the info her damn agent is giving and he dont know how there process works. He was not updated with the info he provides without checking... I was so dsappointed with how you treat your customer.
my saving account was used for paypal purchases april, 2 2018
Yesterday April 2, 2018, when I check my online banking, I found out that there is 9, 417 Php deduction on my saving using PayPal and it was used on the same date April 2, 2018, with the details: POS W/D SV PAYPAL (CI [protected] MC SGP [protected].
I never use this DBO account for any PayPal transaction. This account is only used for transferring remittance through other BDO accounts.
I need this amount to return back to my account. And please provide a proper hotline or more hotline numbers since you are having lots of inquiries and problems with your services.
Calling from Doha Qatar, your international customer service line does not provide IAC.
I have attached the screenshot of the details of my complaint showing the amount used from my savings account.
I also send email from yesterday the moment I found this fraud activity in my account to your Call Center ([protected]@bdo.com. ph) but no response up to now.

Hi, I would like to raise a complain to the debitted amount of 6000 on my account. I tried to withdraw today and was prompt a message that transaction cannot be process..so I was under my understanding that it won't be debited to my account since there is no dispense cash and because of the prompt message. And upon checking my bdo online it shows that 6000 has been debited to my account. Can you please look into it.

Okay so I request for a copy of my bank statement originally last Feb 4 thinking that I could apply for the Korean visa at the end of Feb since they advised me that it will only take 10 business days. So 10 business days has passed and after several follow ups, I still have not received my card statement. The subsequent follow up calls I made, I was given different information each time. Last week, the rep told me it takes 12 business days and she also told me I can get this statement plus the certification via the account branch and she was arguing with me about this and doesnt seem to believe me when i told her that the first thing I did was go to the BDO branch and request for this but they told me I have to call CS. The last rep I also talked to also said I can only ask for this over the phone. I called again today, and the advise was that I had to pay for 100pesos so they could send me this certification via email, Im like I need the actual letter from BDO or whatever because the Korean embasyy only accepts the actual letter and actual statement from BDO not a printed statement. Also, after so many phone calls, why was I only being told this now after 1 month. She even told me by mistake that the statement was only released Mar 7 that really made me angry, that they would send the letter after more than a month of my request. Anyways she corrected herself and said that it was released last Feb 7. Me and my friend requested for our card statement from BDO at the statement she got hers last week (note we live at the same place) and she wasnt asked to pay for anything so why am I going through this hassle? My request is very simple. Its not exactly rocket science is it? I only want one thing, my card statement so I can finally apply for my visa before our trip. How difficult is this?

Rude customer service for that staff in bdo espana blumentritt branch. I know they are busy but for inquiries I hope they could talk to their clients in a nice way. It's just too bad I did not have the chance to get the name of that lady. I know you are a big bank but I hope big or small clients you'll have the politeness and courtesy to talk to us.
The WORST customer service ever! No action even after a month of follow up. No procedures at all. My teenagers can do a better job.
Same thing happened to me just today. I was going to get my cash card supposedly today also (i already ave a savings account with bdo tho in a different branch.) but i work far from the branch so i asked if they are open on weekends. She could just simply answer yes or no but instead she said "this is not a mall darling we're only open mondays to fridays". I asked because i wanted to make sure so when i file a leave it would be valid because she said i have to get the card personally. It's just [censor]ing rude. Good thing i was in the right mood. Sadly. i wasn't able to get her name too.
Also, i opened a cash card in the same branch 2 years ago because my employer before needed only the card number for our salary. I am currently working in a different company but my cash card is still active because i save money there. Till March 1 2018 came and suddenly my account is inactive without any notice why. They told me i can't withdraw my money in that account over the counter because it is a cash card only so i have to open a new one so they can transfer the money from the old to the new one. BDO is just a [censor]ing pain in the [censor].

I used my metrobank atm card to withdraw money from the BDO ATM at Cybergate, Pioneer. It took a long time before I got my card back from the machine and it did not release any money.
I checked my metrobank online account and found out that the withdrawal amount was indeed deducted, 2400.00php.
How can I refund / get the money back?!

loan status slow process
My sister, Mary Ann C. Galamgam who is an OFW applied for a home loan last year to BDO Newport Office and she appointed me as her Attorney-in fact. Last year we were able to complied with all the requirements and paid the necessary bank fees except for the 2018 Tax Clearance because Registry of Deeds doesn't want to issue one so we have waited until 2018. Last January 25, 2018 we received acknowledgment receipt for all the compliance that are lacking and confirmed on the additional documentary stamps tax due to Tax changes. I was able to confirmed in the e-mail came from Ms. Maria Theresa B. Reyes. However from then on I haven't received any information or what on the status of my sister's loan. No one from the group could even bother to reply my e-mail except to Sir Christian Carpio (who has giving false hope). I have been calling Ms. Reyes but not one did she bothered to answer my call or e-mails to her. Please help us. Give us at least verified information on the status of my sister's loan or at least give us the waiting time.

Hi gusto ko lang po sana mag complain regarding sa transactions sa BDO I have multiple transaction (4) 11:56 am ako pumila apat lang ang nasa unahan ko pero imagine po natapos transaction ko ng 1:36 pm ganun ba talaga katagal ang process nyo? kasi kung icocompare sa ibang bank na napag transactionan ko never ako umabot ng 1 hour halos mag kwentuhan ung mga teller sa branches niyo ung override inaabot ba talaga ng 30 mins bago lumapit ung officer or ioverride ung transaction. Napaka inconvenient naman ata nun tapos the way na mag approach mga teller niyo walang ugali parang nakikipag usap lang sa TAMBAY. never bumati sa mga client ng good afternoon or good morning tama ba naman un?
Next time paki ayos ng services niyo! nag open kami ng account kasi akala namin convenient ung transaction sa Company nyo.
I hope the next time na vivisit at mag tratransact ako sa branches nyo sana naman mabago na ung makupad na sistema ng pag proprocess ng teller kasi masyadong mataas tingin ng mga teller sa sarili nila after all client parin nila kami.

Kahit saan branch ata, slowest bank ever tlga BDO. Sa Ibang Bank never ever din ako umabot 30-1hr. Mga mas nauna pa na bank kesa sakanila ah.

I sent my sister in law to BDO in order to pay for a ecensus application due to the ecensus credit card payment online being down. ecensus told me to provide the application number for the birth certificates to the relative or representative who would pay. She went had her ID ang all required information. She was than told she was not allowed to pay the requester who is here in Canada had to pay. We explained the system for online payment was down and so my husbands sister went to pay. They still said no. I need those papers to procesa my husbands papers here in Canada so he will not have to leave his three children. What do we have to do go back to the damn philippines to get anything done? It should have only been easy for my husbands sister to go and pay the fee for e census for the birth certificates! But they made our life miserable. I am glad we are members of bpi not BDO or I would have taken my business elsewhere as I will tell all my filipino family there as well as friends here not to do business with you!
Finally after 2 hrs my sister in law was allowed to pay after she showed many of my angry texts to the bdo agent. I am far from being impressed. Worse they did not even know how to convert 40.60 US dollar to peso so she could pay. What kind of bank does not know how to exchange money?

Had an issue regarding the delivery of the credit card. Last January 3, i received a text that the credit card i avail will be dispatched for delivery from 2go but when i check the address its says that it will be delivered to 1889 B. Balintawak which is wrong and it should be delivered to 1839 B. Balintawak cor. Villaruel St.. I called the 2go customer service and they said that the BDO company should be the one who will correct or changed the delivery address. Up until now i still can't contact your customer service hotline as it was always busy so i was hoping that my issue can be resolved and the credit card can be delivered to the right address..
