I did a wire transfer using bank of america in baltimore MD johns hopkins branch to my own account in India using SWIFT codes. I was told that india is a slow to pay country and it takes about 3 weeks and no investigations would be don't till then. It has been 2 and a half months and it hasn't gone through. My bank in india has not received any information regarding this from bank of america and the bank of america is not willing to help. Every time i contact them they tell me that they are sending e-mail to the bank in india to find the status and that the money is in india and nothing can be done about it and it is possible that i lose my money. I have no clue as to how to go about it.

I have a Bank of America credit card and also a Bank of America checking accout. On 8/22/09 I wrote checks from my B of A checking account. At the time I knew I had the funds to cover the checks with my
cash advance available from my B of A credit card.
When I called to do the transfer they said "because of my debt to income ratio, they had to take the cash advance available away". I have never been late on a payment to B of A and my credit score is over 700.
Needless to say I was very upset. B of A caused the overdraft on my checking by not honoring my cash advance that MY GOOD CREDIT allowed at the time my card was issued.
I notified B of A about the problem and they were not very helpful. I made 4 attempts to resolve this issue. I felt that they should have at least reversed the overdraft charges totaling $420. I am temporarily out of work at this time. This is an in house issue and I feel it should have not been a problem.
Banking ititutions should work with their customers who are temporarily having a hard time.
I also have accounts with US Bank for several years and they have alway been there for me when needed.
I am sending a copy of this complaint to the B of A branch were I opened the account and also to the
main office.
I will not do further business with B of A unless these charges are reversed. I will not pay these fees.
Thank you for your time.

This bank was notified previously about abusing my account due to charges not applied by me. Yet they refused to handle my claims and instead took thousands of dollars from me on an account that was only for use for transferring funds to my mother in Texas. I had a total of $46.00 to keep it open and when somehow that account was used by unknown parties I notified BofA and filed my claims. Later to find out that I could only file a claim for 60 days from the date of calling. They specifically told me that.
After filing the complaints they dismissed my complaints and had to refile them as the lady that I spoke to must of thought I was rich and full of it. To this date they only credit me some charges from the Hartford insurance that were never authorized. They never called me to tell me the status of my claims, after I took the time to call them they again told me that my claims were dismissed and they would not refund me anything. I am a disabled american veteran and had to close my accounts there after being with them for many of years. They did not care or wish to listen. They just took the money at their own will and left me hanging out to dry. Where is the government on all these complaints filed throughout the internet. Is it maybe they found a way to cover the payback for the stimulus package. From the Poor, Elderly, Disabled Veterans, etc., , , , ,
Excuse my spelling and grammar. This just has me wondering what else can happen.

I AGREE WITH ALL THESE COMPLAINTS. B OF A IS RIPPING US OFF WITH THESE OVERDRAFT FEES THAT THEY ACCUMILATE FROM THE WAY THE PROCESS TRANSACTIONS. I WAS HIT WITH 9 OVERDRAFT FEES WHICH WAS TOTALLY WRONG WITH WHAT I SAW. IT IS A LONG STORY I DONT FEEL LIKE EXPLAINING BUT THE STORIES I HAVE READ ARE JUST LIKE MINE. I AM CLOSING MY ACCOUNT WITH THEM AND GOING TO THE LOCAL CREDIT UNION THEY ARE FAR MORE BETTER WITH THERE PRACTICES AND THEY ARE FAIR.
BANK OF AMERICA IS EVIL AND THEY WILL GET THERES ONE DAY. ANYBODY WHO WORKS FOR THEM NEEDS TO GET OUT.

I agree with you. I;ve just gone through a roller coaster with my account and dealing with 5 rep's. I signed up for alert notifications and after not being notified, I had several fee's assessed to my account. When I complained about it, I was told by the rep that their system has problems sending to a .net address (I'm with ATT). Its ironic that I did get notifiactions advising me of an updated balance then one day later, I get 9 fees assessed with no alert notification. There was no attempt by the rep's to correct what they said was "glitch" in their system. I suddenly began to hear a lot of "we'll our system is not 100% full proof of sending notifications...". What a crock of crap I got and this was from all rep's including a supervisor. I've been a customer for more than 10+ years and it is apparent that bofa has slid down the crapper shoot. I'm now moving all 5 of my accounts from them to a credit union where they care about serving customer's. I would not keep my an account with BOFA if you paid me. Their policies are focused on how they can profit at the expense of their customers. I wish them to hell!

I deposited a $400 MONEY ORDER, and the bank put a 20 day hold on it! Even a check will clear faster than that. When I wrote them, several times, I just got an automated email that talked about how it takes time to clear a check. I'm liking my local Walmart more and more for my banking needs!

I have an account with BoA and had referred my colleague to open an account in one of the banking centres in TX on June 26. The associate promised me that I will get the referral bonus with in 90 days but did not give any Promo code.
Now this is the 4th month and I have not got the amount yet.
I called them 4 times at 1.800.622.8731 and had online chat with them 4 times but did not get any solid response from them.
They say that they are verifying the request and would leave a note on my account for the related depts to process and also that I will not have to explain my issue each time I call. But these has not happened and I had to explain my issue each time I call. They are also asking for the promo code, which I did not get. Was it my fault?
But it is funny that they repeat the sentence "We understand your issue, but there is nothing much that we can do. Please call back after a few days to check the status". I am really pissed of at this. I am now in India and can not call them often and I do not intend to do that also.
I am yet unsure whether I will get the bonus or not, even though they say that I will.
May be after centuries?!

I contacted Bank of America in good faith to advise them of a fraud email, I was talked into applying for rewards card. By doing this I had to agree to a Hard Credit Check, this gave BOA authorization to check my credit. This is a set up deal so they can get a complete review of your credit report and your personal information. I advised them that my Experian report and the other 2 agencies had mixed my deceased father's accounts, he died 11 years ago, in with my name and SS#. While they knew the credit information was incorrect, they canceled One 10, 000 card, deducted a credit line from $31, 000 to $16, 000 and canceled a 27k line of credit from accounts. This of course is going to have a major impact on my credit score and will raise my interest rates. While talking to this dirt ball credit consultant, I could tell he was not looking at my credit report. He indicated I was too far in dept, 25% as the credit agency says is perfect. He also said I had too many revolving accounts, the Experian credit agency reports I have 65 open accounts in good standing, the reality is 26 of the 65 have been closed and 39 are active and more are to be removed do to the identity mix up. So, do not agree to let BOA look at your credit if you have a card or cards with them, keep them away from your Hard Credit Check, then at the same time they took my mothers credit card and canceled it as they felt we were in financial trouble, I make 125K a year, clear and own 3 small companies, they say I did not make enough money for my debt, 44K, my monthly payments are only $1, 300.00 a month. I charge on most cards and then when I get the statement I pay it off, I feel since I pay it off and they do not make money off interest they feel they think they are not making enough money off me. So watch out, next they will be doing as Chase going from a 1.5 billing of your total amount due to 5%. I have a 16k balance transfer done last month, they are trying to expedite payment just two weeks after transaction, and they are also wanting to know why I did not use my own 16K, it simple, if I can use their money at a 1% APR for 6 months why would I want to use my money. I used my money for a new marketing program so it was not spent in a playful way, it was business. STAY AWAY FROM BANK OF AMERICA

I was offered a zero percent balance transfer offer last year from Bank of America, the only catch (or so I thought) was I had to pay a fee of 2% up front. The rate is suppoesd to be good for 1 year. so I made the transfer on 10/15/2017, and when I received my statement with closing date 10/5/2017, I had already been charged for 1 full month of finance charge based on the new rate of 12%. I was like what the heck? Only 10.5 months later, my rate already changed from 0% t 12%?

so when i called, they claim that the clock started clicking when they "MAILED" me the offer, not when I actually activate it. I told them well, I've read all your fine prints and this was not SPELLED out in our term and conditions. SO i told them this is false advertisement. even if pay off the entire balance that very day, I would have been charged 2 months worth of finance charge, while the second month, I am OK to pay (consider it my bad for not paying if off earlier), but I really don't think i should pay the 9/5/09 to 10/5/09 interest!

Bank of America agreed to half my finance charge for 9/5/09 - 10/5/09. better than nothing i guess, but they are shady, very shady! and i was on hold for over 25 mins just to talk to a representative. they are very unfriendly and stand by their "false advertisement". I am planning to close my credit card with bank of america and have a little business with them as possible. this is not an honest institution and based on what i read from other ppl and the high fees they slap on all kinds of things, i don't think anyone should do business with them.

Bank of America is a rip off, I have had a unsecured loan with them for over a year, when I got the loan, the interest rate was not what they sad it would be, I paid the interest rate for over a year before they lowered it to 18.9%, now I have received a notice that they are changing my fixed rate loan to a variable rate loan and they are attaching it to the prime rate, so if the prime rate goes up my payment goes up, I contacted them about this, and they say that they can do that, that in the fine print, it states that they can make any changes they want. I wanted to contact the head people in regards to this, but have had no success. Joe

They told me the account would be free, because I had set up a direct deposit. Fees, why ?. Also the change back everytime the would put a quarter (25 cent) they would take it out for a fee being charged for .25 WTF. I have had this account open for only 2 1/2 months and everytime my direct deposit credits my account they take 105.00. BOFA RIP OFF..

I recently tried to use my bank of America debit card at the grocery store, it was declined! I began freaking out. I get home and check my account. I have a Bank of America Visa attached to my account that transferes funds to my checking account if I need it. Three days ago my available balance was $17, 655.00. Today they decreased my credit limit to 1, 200$ with no notice, so my account is overdrawn. Next I start digging into my credit card statements. I signed up for paperless statements 8 months ago, and I rearely check my statements. It is automatically paid by another account, I just check my balance regularly for irregularities. Today I find they have been charging me a ten dollar fee everytime they transfere money from my credit reserve to my checking account since June. I have been charged aprrox. $100 dollars a month in fee's. I was told that they sent me a change of account notice in June, with my statement. I told them I don't recieve paper statements. They told me that if I had downloaded my statement from June it would have shown up . I told them I don't download them, they could check, I never would have continued to use the account if I knew they were doing that. I got the too bad response. Now what do I do? I cannot believe they can get away with this. I thought they had to notify their clients by mail of account changes?

I have had similar situation with BofA in processing the short-sale. The short-sale was approved in July, the buyer backed out of the deal in August. I submitted new offer on Sept. 15. The file was closed in Oct. 20, since, supposedly, " buyer backed out". I kept explaining to the representative that the buyer backed out in August, current buyer is still waiting for approval. But they will do nothing to correct the comments in their system or remedy the situation. Currently, the file has been given to a new negotiator and the process will begin all over again. It is so frustrating!

For those with issues with Bank of America. When I had issues with my recently re-financed mortgage with them, one of their alleged "customer service" people gave me some erroneous, made up info. It had to do with my location's tax bills. Anyway, the person at the state's office told me that the Office of the Controller of the Currency oversees banking activities at national banks. Here is their website:

http://www.helpwithmybank.gov/

This is a division of the US Treasury. I sent in a complaint, but was able to resolve my problem with B of A directly. They have a status check link as well. My problem, filed back on 9/8/09, is still being "investigated" per the website. However, it's a way to get your complaints to someone that might be able to help. Also, they have information on the above link regarding any regulations or rules that have to do with banking or credit cards issued by a national bank, which B of A is.

Good luck.

You are not entitled to cash advance checks. Clearly you are a high risk customer, and the bank has had to pull the reigns on some features of your credit card account. Because you were good for it when you signed up for the card does not necessarily mean you're good for it now.

Oh, Please! Keep track of what you spend and this won't happen. Why should a bank babysit your pending transactions when you should know better than anyone how much money you have available to spend? Keep a register...problem solved.

I am having checking account with Bank of America which is more than a year old. I registered for eStatement. Because of some personal reason, I had to have paper statement for 3 months (June, July, August 2017) and for which I had given more than 25 requests and none of them is finished till today. I had put so many requests by calling their customer care, by online banking, by sending mail from online banking and by contacting them on 24x7 live support. (KMM103749529I58L0KM, KMM105922405I58L0KM, KMM105972979I58L0KM, KMM107414357I58L0KM) is the list of request numbers given by online banking.
Actually I wanted this statement in India and when I asked them whether they send statements to foreign country or not, I got different answers all the time. Even some executive accepted my request to send statements to India and all requests are shown as "Finished". When I asked for status, they told me that they were canceled because the address was outside the country.
Whenever I contact them either by calling or by online chatting, each and every time they put new request. Next day when I again contact them to know the status of the last request, they tell me that there is no such request and ask me to put again a new request.
I am really frustrated by this kind of customer service and would suggest all people to think twice before opening an account in Bank of America because what else we can expect if they can't give simple bank statement.

I read an article yesterday how banks are trying to hurry and charge fees before the new federal is in place. The article was 100% right, especially with BANK OF AMERICA. Recently the bank lowered my credit limit, when called they wouldn't raise it because I was too close to my limit. Well, yeah you dummy you dropped my limit now I am. Now, to top it off I have an overage fee of $39 added to my account because the finance charges made me go over my balance. They want to do nothing to help me, it's like they want to see their customers fail. Maybe since they did it makes them feel better to watch others fall. Needless to say I am paying off the card an closing out my account. I will never speak highly of BOA again, I have constantly gotten screwed by their dirty business. Watch out for your money, I wouldn't trust them.

Actually, a finance charge will not cause another finance charge, and a drop in credit limit is never given without charge. If you are a responsible customer who pays on time consistantly, a credit card only benefits from your high credit limit. It is only when you become a liability that they need to drop your limit. While I agree that BoA's fees are too high, your story doesn't add up.

It is very sad to see that Banking and insurance has become a wile place for their customer, and for citizens to do business. This large entity’s and industries present a constant threat to our democracy and our way of life.

Bank of America by far has been bulling, reaping, and plundering customers like me with their constant changes, on fees and services. Their mistakes are very expensive to all their customers, who have no protection from any national agency or entity. With almost 9 million people out work today in our nation, I can’t believe that our government is not regulating these industries that gave our nation and the world, the major global depression we are in today.
I had several accounts with this bank, checking’s, savings, credit card, mortgage, CD’s, etc, etc…. for many years, and the feeling that I’m living today, is that they sack the life savings out me.

The customer care of BOA is far below the standards. This is the worst customer care to which I have spoken to in recent times. I tried to register into privacy assist program of BOA to monitor my cards. I provided all the information to the rep over the phone. I did not receive any information from them after that. Now, when i contact the customer care through email (since I am not getting proper answer through phone), they say that is not possible. I have to contact privacy assist program (only through phone) and they won't even bother to answer any of my questions. I spent about an hour to write an email to them. They just replied by copying and pasting some crap about the privacy assist program which did not answer anything.
I spend so many $$$ for the accounts and this kind of customer care is not at all expected.
I will soon change to Chase or WF and even ask my friends to do that.

If you have a Bank of America Credit card at a low interest rate, do not miss a payment or they will raise your interest rate to 32 percent for the next 6 months before they will drop the interest rate in the slightest. Do like we did, pay them off and cance your credit card. This is the only way they will get the message that they cannot treat people this way with out repercussion. I believe a class action law suit would be in order if enough people experience this tradgedy as we did.

Only one thing to do...make them offer up the original note...they own and are in no possession of any notes to forclose on anything...trust me ...been in my home 2 years and counting, , , make em show ya, they wont and they cant, because the only mortgage meltdown there was and what they got paid for was to try and cover up the fact they sold, misplaced and destroyed your note!

DO NOT use any Bank of America products: banks, credit cards, and especially online services (or lack thereof!)

I closed the account because they arbitrarily upped my interest rate (after my bank incorrectly refused payment and charged me returned check fees).

I then set up automatic bi-weekly payments to ensure my payments weren't late, and they still manage to get me! I don't have any ability to change the day of the week that the payment is taken out. I get paid on Thursday, but they take payments on Friday. The last payment was due on Thursday, 12/3. Because they don't take the payment until Friday, they charged me another #*%%@&# LATE FEE.

When I called just now to make a payment this week (in addition to the ones made every other week) I got a message from online banking that I HAD MADE THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PAYMENTS IN A MONTH. What the *$&#. We're encouraged to stop paper billing to save them money, use online banking...but, wait...only in so much as it will net them the most extra charges possible. I am incensed! I like to be kissed when I get screwed!

So, I called to see how to get another payment in this month...are you ready? I was told to MAIL IN A COUPON WITH MY PAYMENT! Wait a minute...did you hear me say I use online banking to save them money? I don't have hard copy coupons! OMG! When will big business stop cheating us?

I know they've got their own issues, but gotta say, I can not wait to pay these ((*^^^%*& off! You think the credit debacle is bad now?!?!?!?! Wait until we all get fed up with being treated like this and we ALL stop using credit cards...THEN where will these *%$*(&*^^ be? If I win the lottery, I'm not going on a fancy trip, or buying a big house or fine car...I'm paying off these companies that get away with what could be argued are criminal activities.

Short background first: in the fall of 2017 I opened a MyAccess checking account with B of A during a local promo in my community when a new branch was opened. I was promised no monthly maintenance fee without any conditions attached. However, after several months I noticed a $5.95 fee on my statement. I called the lady who opened my account for me and she did waive the fee for me - temporarily. It's back with a vengeance and she has left the bank so no one is willing to believe or help me now.

In February 2017 I started an email campaign to plead my case again. After 8 emails from me and 8 replies from B of A, I'm angrier than I ever was. They NEVER answer my questions directly. Rather, they keep repeating what they have said before without resolving anything. They suggested I open another account online to qualify for no fee that way, which I did. Then I get an email telling me about my monthly fee of %5.95 if I don't have a direct deposit set up. So I emailed them again and questioned it. The idiots told me that since I had opened the account in Dallas, Texas and not online, I wasn't eligible for the fee waiver. What? By now I'm about to have a stroke, but I keep trying to get an answer from them so I write again and reiterate that I did not open it in Dallas because I live in San Antonio, and that I was promised a no-fee/no-conditions account for opening it online. Guess what? I got a reply this time and the rep tells me that they have requested a fee waiver for me but I'll have to reapply each year to keep the waiver. I know I've lost my mind because I wrote again and asked why I have to reapply if I was promised no fee with an online account. You guessed it...the dolts tell me the same garbage again with NO explanation as to why this is happening.

So much for trying to work it out. I quit. I have told everyone I know to avoid B of A at all cost, and I am closing both accounts before they take another $5.95 away from me. Yes, I've printed out every one of the ridiculous emails in case I need them some day. I also plan to use this real-world experience to teach my students how NOT to run a business (I'm a business teacher). I plan to use them often and I will NOT be blacking out the Bank of America name on the papers!

How to we get together and Do something ? all the stories are the same. Credit limit halved for no reason, interest hiked to 29.99 % despite 2 years of on-time and over minimum payment. Now I am unemployed and have used my savings to pay down the cards - all gone, soon I will be over limit and late - all concocted by B of A.

Has anyone re-negotiated their payments or found anything that WORKS.

my husband checking account was charged a 35 dollar fee for his account being negative .42 cents for 7 days, we were told by the bank tellers that unless it was over $10.00 he would not be charged an overdraft fee, now they are saying if it is under 10.00 you have 5 days to put the funds in your account, which we were NEVER told, bank of america says they are willing to lose a cust over a .42 cent over draft, with a baby on the way we cant afford for people to lie to us about what fees we will or will not be charged.

I have been with bank of america for about 8 years and have more problems then anything else, especially recently, I put a stop payment check on check # 1 for 29 dollars well now a year later i get a call from a lawyer saying i ow them 160 dollars for a stop payment on check # 2 I never put a stop payment on that check turns out BOA put stop payment on check #2 for the amount of check # 1 and since they wont admit they were at fault i owe 160 bucks for a 10 dollar check, and that not all, i get a statement saying i owe them money on an account i closed 6 months ago, well turns out they never marked it as closed even tho they told me it was closed, and then i see i owe and overdraft fee but i never went over so they did end up paying me back for that but I am done with them they obviously dont know how to add and typ Numbers into a computer so I am done before i lose all my money to them dumb ###. I would NEVER EVER EVER recommend bank of america to ANYone that like to keep there hard earned money.

I opened a business account on line with bank of america, I was approved. I had to go into the bank for a signiture card but when I went to with draw funds from my account they said I was not on the account and it was owned by a Gloria, my name is Grace. After 3 hours we got that fixed so I thought. 2 weeks later charges started to hit my account so I contacted the bank, spent another 3 hours there to close the one account and open a new one. I was sitting there when the manager called chex-systems and got the approval. Risk department took over the old account and then froze both accounts but only after the put that I owe them over $800, 000 on each account. I was told it was because I was on chex-systems, but my business is not. Bank of American took these actions against me after I had faxed the new account to my depositors and I had a positive balance in the account. But I can not get any money out and they said they would mail me a paper check after January 4th 2017. How was it I could open 2 accounts and be over 1 million in dept in 48 hours but not have any new purchases or have written any check on either account. I have contact an criminal advicate to see what I can do, If you have a good law firm and would like to see about hadling this case email me with your number, I will call you back.

I have a credit card that was previously MBNA then transferred over to BofA the BofA bought them out. I have had numerous problems with the new BofA website, but it wasn't until I called into customer service to try and figure out what was wrong, that the real horror began. For the record, I'm a pretty laid back person, and I never raised my voice during this entire exchange. When the tech on the other end couldn't figure out what was wrong, I asked to talk to someone else. I was then told I didn't need to do talk to someone else because nothing was wrong. I had to ask twice and then demand (which is something I rarely have had to do the 15+ years I've been dealing with customer service reps) that I be transferred, which the tech finally did with very ill-grace, but not before trying to argue with me in a raised voice about whether I needed to be transferred. I spent over 30 minutes on hold waiting for a manager and then found out that the manger had no technical skills and couldn't help me. I called back the next day during business hours thinking that the day crew might be better. Not by much, the tech still wasn't able to help me but at least he transferred me to a manager on the first request. After another interminable wait, the day manager was terrible, and if I had his name, I would print it here just to embarass him thoroughly. Not only did he cut me off and talk over me after every sentence I started, but he shouted so loud at one point that I had to hold the phone away from my ear. Completely disgusting uncivilized customer service. I've already closed my account with them and moved to another credit card company over the issue. And I was a loyal customer for over 10 years.

The interest rates of my credit Card were raised from 9% to 28% because I was 1 day late on my payments. I've been paying on time for 1 year and a half. The bank refuses to reduce the interests even though I reduced the debt in half.

Bank of America needs to change the phone system. They do everything they can so that you cannot speak to a human. I have spent over 6 weeks and spent several days at the bank, had to hire an attorney for them to authorize my power of attorney for my mother. God forbid they actually hire someone over the age of 30 with banking experience! I jumped through hoop after hoop trying to get someone to help me. I DO NOT recommend that you use BOA. They really do not have time for you or your money.

Our home loan was converted over from Country Wide Home Loan to Bank of America. We have been usuiong their bill payer system for years. However, payments made within the grace period of our loan are being created as late payments even though they are made within the terms of our loan. Late charges have been charged to us. When we called the Bank Of America Loan Service Department we are told we have a history of late payments. Then we were told we were only allowed one late payment in the duration of our loan.

We proved payments were made ontime by taking to a local Bank Of America and faxed information to the Bac Loan Service Department. We have been told by Bac Loan Services that they are unable to see our account. There is no person you can talk to at your local Bank Of America Branch to try to resolve any problems with your home loan. You can prove them that your payments were made until you are blue in the face and the customer service, supervisors, and managers will tell you they are unable to do anything for you.

Then you are asked to send a letter to a place called coorespondence with a P.O. Box so you can not serve them a registered letter. Because you are trying to get your business resolved yourself, the next time you call that you have not 3 late payments but 8 now.

You take all the dates and match them to your bill payer and find that you are within the time frame allowed on your loan. If you check when the payment was posted it could be 5-7 days later. However the monies were taken out of your account the same or next day that you made your payment. Bank Of America states to you that they are using the date your payment posts and creating a late history and charging you late fees.

Now because they posted your payment late, Bank Of America wants you to use money tranfer to make your payment. You could tell them that your current payment has been made from bill payer and they can not see what is going on. They will not believe you made the payment.

Within this conversation with Bank Of America, if you are lucky, they may wave one late fee and promise it to you in writtging. Don'/t count on anything you are told because you never will receive it. Instead you will get a letter1-2 months later requesting you to fax or send them all of your records so they may make a decision.

All the while they are building a late payment history using the dates the bank posted your payment. You may be a faithful honest person who pays their bills on time and the one time you need a late fee waved due to your cicumstances you will be treated like a dead beat debtor who does not pay their bills.

Ofcource while they have you on the phone they try to talk you into refinace with Bank of America. What person in their right mind would want to bank with all of the discussion above? We were a Country Wide Loan bought out by Bank Of America.

We believe they are creating late payment histories so if you tried to get a home loan/refinace they would use it against you and put you in a higher bracket of interest because of your late history. Their tatics are good for them and not good for the customer or home owner.

In this ecconomy you would think that Bank Of America would be glad to have someone who pays their loan on time. If a customer had one discression you would hope your loan institution would work with you. Not Bank Of America! Because we have lost most of our equity due to a failing ecconomy and foreclosure rate is as high as one in four homes you would think that banks would not want you to foreclose.

We have decided to allow our home back to the bank and let them loose their money on our home. We do not feel it is worth all the struggle with no cooperation from our lender. Big Fat Cat banks need people to give their homes back so they can loose their pants. Maybe if enough people give the homes back they will figure it out.

The Banks can give their CEO's giant bonuses and we the consumer paid for it. Not only their bonuses but when banks could not show a profit on their stocks and dividends Americans paid the 15% penality fees. The reason most us do not qualify for home modifications from banks is because now they tell us "Our bank has to use disrcretion". It is just yet another form of discrimination in America.

Future home buyers beware. Bank of America will be your nightmare!

I am a senior visitor from Canada to this area and went to a Bank of America to withdraw $200.00. The machine read my card, asked for my pin number, asked if I wanted a receipt which I did not get and then handed back my card. I was suspicious, so phoned my bank to check and yes, Bank of America had removed the funds from my account. When I approached the service rep I was made to feel it was my fault, and I was to notify my bank to lodge a complaint. I pointed out to the lady it was their machine, but as of Jan 1/10 there are new rules in place. I informed my bank and they said they had never heard of the onus being put on them, but they will do what they can. Please, any people visiting this country, to spend your money and help a recession plagued country, be very careful of this bank! Maybe, we should just stay home and spend our hard earned savings therre

I had a credit line of 12.4k this morning with BofA. A few months back my daughter (lives in Pennsylvania) had an emergency and I’ve been trying to keep my head above water since then. After trying everything else, I decided that I should transfer $$ from my BofA CC to my checking account and consolidate two credit cards; both of which I am over-limit. So, instead of HELPING me, Josh Brown (of BofA) says that they cannot transfer funds from my CC. Oh, and by-the-way, he closed/cancelled my CC so I have NO credit there now. I said, “So, I called you for help because I am drowning in fee’s and, instead of helping me, you FURTHER damage my credit by closing my credit card?”
Anyway, I’m frightened. Add to the stress, my husband has NO idea. He’s a wonderful, hard working man but he’s never had children so he doesn’t quite understand the panic a parent feels.
I am not lazy either; I just got over two weeks with pneumonia caused from working 90+ hour weeks. I have vowed to cut back to 60-70 hour weeks!
I am scared to death. I am not looking for a way out of my obligations; just help for right now.

Since the bank is not posting transactions on the date they actually occurred, your check register becomes almost irrelevant. What you enter into your register is a real time account of when you made your transactions. But if the bank keeps things "pending" then pays and posts them at their discretion, your records will never align themselves with theirs because the dates are mostly wrong. And those dates make a HUGE difference! So, unless you keep a buffer of a few hundred dollars and spend in small amounts, there's a real chance you're going to get nailed eventually. I've heard of B of A employees actually telling customers they "manufactured" their registers and print outs of their online accounts. A snide Customer Service rep even once told me, "that's what your check register is for". He is so lucky we were on the telephone. And you know what? Before the computers took over, balancing my checkbook was a snap, if not a pleasure. Nowadays I don't know WHAT is going on with my account half the time.

I am furious with your own automated acct system. First of all, your computer generated voice will try to take over the conversation. I haave never been able to get this system to take me to where I want to go. I have to press "operator" repeatedly to get "the voice"
Attention and then it asks all kinds of info that is again asked when I finally get to the
Customer care agent. If I have bungled, somehow, and get to the "wrong" person I am
Penalized by having to go back on hold and listen to the computer generated "crap" for
An awful length of time. This is my second complaint. When I am put on hold I have to listen to all of your crummy sales spots which doesnt entice me to purchase any of them,
But, instead it makes me more, and more, upset. Check with a supervisor named brian (Spelling may not be right... It could be bryan, etc.. ) he was on the phones on 1/15/10 at approximately 9:30 a. M. On this date. My call was taken by rita, who finally did a great
Job. I told bryan what was bugging me and he has a detailed list (At least he said he
Was writing it all down). I would like to talk to someone who has the power to change your computer generated systems. I have a checking account and two mortgage accounts (Countrywide). I am considering moving everything if you show me that you don't really care.

Please respond. Phone: [protected]; cell [protected]
