Mobile home foreclosure
My husband purchased a 1980 Bayshore Mobile Home LAG5325
RD1737A RD1737B Serial No. In 1984 and in 1988 we divorced.
My Ex-husband died in 1993. I have had no information from any one about this account. In 2023 I received a tax bill for [protected] forwarded from My ex-husband address. This is 39yrs later and why Bank of America did not contact me about this account. I don't have account numbers or even where to find any information on what Bank of America has done about the mobile home. I'm sure it foreclosed after 39yrs. However, my name is still on the county records as a registered owner. I need to get it transferred back to the legal owner. Which is Bank of America.
You would really think a bank as large as BOA would handle a mortgage account a little better then just forget about it until someone contacts them.
This account is so old no-one can tell what to do about it. I moved out of the area in 1988, but didn't fall off the face of the earth!

Online digital fraud
To whom it may concern,
I am writing to you because I have been involved in an online fraud scam with Bank of America. I have filed a claim with Bank of America and filed a police report regarding this issue. The total amount of my fraud claim is $4,400. Bank of America keeps declining my claim. I am very unhappy with the services I am receiving from Bank of America regarding this online fraud scam and feel like I am being dismissed without this issue being seriously addressed and taken care of. I have called the online support number multiple times and nobody has been able to provide me with the proper help. I trusted Bank of America with my money and have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. There was no fraud protection provided by Bank of America when the funds were being sent to the other person. I feel very unsafe having my money in the bank where scammers can easily have access to my funds without being verified.
I would like to get detailed information on my claim status regarding what actions were taken and if Bank of America was able to identify the person money was sent to and if yes, why can’t Bank of America hold that person accountable for their actions? I have all the needed proof that the money that was sent did not have promised return of service/item (aka apartment rental). I am a travel nurse that always rents out different apartments in different states and haven’t had any issues before. I put my full trust in Bank of America to have my funds fully secured and protected. Now I am questioning Bank of America’s interest in protecting their clients’ funds. I would like the proper and correct actions to be taken and my funds be returned to me. I appreciate your time and will be waiting on your response. Thank you.

Fraud
Hello, in january I had a fraud with bank of america. $10400 from my account were stolen by zell and by online banking transters. From zel! they returned $3400 back to my account. Online transfers for $7000 I did not authorized. At the same time I found a numerous fake checks on my account. They were stoped by the bank. Since january I am trying to get my money back. The bank of america keeps denying my cases. Now they said that a authorized those transfers. I tolled them that I did not. I dont even have the phone number by which online transfers were made. Someone opened a few accounts under my name and my account. Please help me. I got laid off recently, I need my money back to pay bills. Thank you.
Customer Service
California ATM malfunction on 07/19/2023. Customer Service not available.
BOFA phone customer service ends at 11 pm EST. That is no good for their Pacific coast customers. It's only 8 pm here. Ironic that BOFA started out as a California bank, but now they're throwing CA customers under the bus. I wanted to call to report an ATM machine that malfunctioned at ate my card. THERE IS NO WAY TO DO THIS AFTER 8PM!
Desired outcome: Longer customer service hours.
Auto loan
b of a offered me $300 to open a checking account with them and now they couldn't pay me enough to keep the account open. First off, it took over 45 minutes just to withdraw cash from my account inside the bank. They claimed that because it was a new account, everything had to be verified. Okay, understandable but when I tried to deposit my paycheck in the ATM, the message told me that the funds would not be available for 5 days! What?
My auto loan is with b of a and is automatically paid through my chase account on the 20th of each month. I made the payment early last month because my registration was due at the end of the month. I called both B of A and chase bank to stop the automatic payment on the 20th but of course the payment still went through. This left my chase account overdrawn and nsf fees were also charged so I had no choice but to cover the cost. B of A claimed they would refund the payment with a paper check that would go out the same day (06/20) and would take 7-10 days to receive it ( the $ was taken out electronically so why couldn't it be refunded the same way?). On 07/07 (17 days later!) I still hadn't received the refund check. b of a said it was just issued that day on 07/07 and it would take an additional 7-10 days to receive it. It has now been over a month that I've been without the $350. This bank is archaic! Who writes paper checks in this day and age? The post office takes only 1-3 days to process our mail so they have absolutely no excuse for holding my money for so long! As soon as I receive the refund check (sometime this year?) I will definitely close this account. No wonder they're paying people to bank with them!
Desired outcome: This entire ordeal has cost me almost $500! I want to be reimbursed for the bank fees and because i've had to use my credit card to cover basic living expenses, b of a is responsible for the finance charges added to my credit card.

This bank is flying an American Flag that is tattered and torn as well as completely faded. This flag has been flying for weeks and just recently completely faded. This is unacceptable. You are Bank of AMERICA! I have been a BofA customer for over 40 years and a military veteran of 30 years. I contacted the bank and they said there is one "on order." I...

I was a Bank of America customer for over 5 years recently I was the victim of identity theft , my home was burglarized and a rogue employee was using my debit card without authorization. Each claim was resolved in my favor for they were legitimate claims. Bank of America did not lose any money except they provided a service in which they are paid for. The last claim I had they refused to issue the temporary credit within 10 days instead they took 30 days returned my money and closed my account. I have no ability to give dates time or amounts because they canceled my online access. They had had no just cause for closing my account Are they that Lazy ? Or is it They consider a consumer high risk because they make BOA customers do their job?
Desired outcome: Reopen my account and issue an apology to me for the grief and stress they put me through

Edd claim
It has been since 2020 that I have filed my 20,000 claim with Bank of America and I have been waiting ever since e then for a decision. I have sent in every piece of paperwork they've needed. Last week it was discovered that y claim was initially filed wrong by the claims department and was refiled correcty. As well as escalations put in several times for being past the 45 day mark of investgation. So they filed my claim wrong in 2020, and it's been pending since then. Which I believe 3 years is well passed the 45 day mark of claims being processed.
Desired outcome: Give me my 20,000

I did that but they could not do the transfer.

Bank of America's Frozen Account: A Nightmare for State Disability Recipients
I've been banking with Bank of America for quite some time now and I have to say, I am not pleased with their service. Recently, I had an issue with my state disability account being frozen and I have been unable to access my funds. I have been receiving state disability for about a year now due to having two major back surgeries. I have worked hard for over 20 years, so I have money in my account.
Last Friday morning, I discovered that my account was frozen. I immediately called EDD Bank of America and they gave me a number to speak to the sponsor, which is state disability. Instead of calling, I decided to go down to the building to inform them that I have been locked out of my account and that I have money there. However, they said they saw no error on their end. I was also told that when I call EDD state disability, it was information that needed to be provided to see if I was eligible for eligibility.
I went to the sponsor state disability and they saw no issue. I also informed state disability that my account has been frozen and more money was released into my account on Friday, but no money was available on Saturday or Sunday. On Monday, I went back to state disability and sat outside in the rain for five hours before I was seen. Today is Tuesday and still no money. I was told by state disability/sponsor that they are going to mail my checks to me, but what I am concerned about is why is my bank account with Bank of America frozen.
When I call EDD Bank of America to ask them to explain what the issue is, no one knows. The system only tells them one thing. The bad thing about this whole thing is the bank account is frozen with my money there and I cannot pay my bills. No one can explain to me what happened. Due to this issue, I have overdraft fees and late fees. No one is communicating with me and I feel lost with this issue. Bank of America has failed me and I feel the soul state disability has done me wrong. I have worked 20+ years in my field and no one is saying anything to me other than I have to wait till the issue is resolved.
I am considering getting an attorney to help me with this problem. I am frustrated and feel like I am not being heard. I would appreciate it if someone could call me to help me resolve this issue.
Bank of America's Terrible Business Practices: A Warning to Others
So, I had a pretty bad experience with Bank of America. My wallet was stolen and I reported it right away, but when I tried to get credit, it was denied. I read some reviews and it seems like this is a common issue. I decided to appeal and was told that I would be contacted and that the credit wouldn't go through until the appeal was decided. That was on the 24th.
Then, I got laid off due to the national disaster that we're all dealing with. You know, the one that Bank of America is supposedly helping out with by deferring mortgages and stuff? Yeah, that one. I have five sons and today I found out that my appeal had been denied without any warning or contact from the bank. They knowingly threw my account into the red by reversing the credit, even though they knew there wasn't enough money in there.
I admit that I screwed up by forgetting my pin, but I said that I would take it as a lesson learned. However, Bank of America told me that there was nothing they could do and took my last check. They didn't even bother to do any investigative work and just acted like they were doing me a favor by reversing some overdraft fees. If they had done their due diligence, those fees wouldn't have occurred in the first place.
When I called to try to resolve the issue, I was on hold for almost two hours before being told that there was nothing they could do. It's beyond frustrating that they would take my last check and not even try to help me out.
I'm going to make sure that everyone knows about this terrible experience. I'm going to leave reviews on Google, Facebook, Yahoo, Instagram, and even Twitter. I want to warn others about the kind of disgusting business practices that Bank of America condones. My family is already closing all of our accounts with them and I'm going to make sure that they lose out on future interest as well.
Now, I have to figure out how to feed my five boys on just $100. Thanks for nothing, Bank of America. This whole situation was already hard enough without them making it worse.
Bank of America PPP Loans: Partial Forgiveness Scam Targeting Small Businesses
BOA, or Bank of America, is a bank that has been issuing loans under the PPP CARES act. However, they have only offered partial forgiveness to their customers. This has caused many customers to be left with a large amount of debt that they cannot afford to pay back. The loans under the SBA were granted when they matched your payroll and filed taxes. BOA has failed to issue full forgiveness to thousands of their own customers, and is timing out the option to have them be forgiven. They are only offering about 60% forgiveness according to the SBA.
The SBA offered a direct forgiveness portal, which BOA will not opt into so their own customers can get the loans forgiven in full. This is not legal, and they are targeting the loan recipients trying to force them to repay the loans taken out in good faith. Forbes did an article on this and despite SBA saying billions of dollars are left to be forgiven, BOA is billing themselves for hours and stalling loan forgiveness. Many loans come due in October 2021, and the loans need to be approved for forgiveness before then.
Megan Scholz, VP in NC, has removed my loan from forgiveness for being mad at my right to seek full forgiveness. This is not legal. They have traumatized 50 states of people that are holding on to their businesses by a thread. BOA cannot do this and despite hours of efforts, their greed and overbilling, plus 1% interest they are trying to earn on unforgiven balances is taking priority over the right of the borrowers. 99% of loan borrowers used the loans to stay afloat. They are targeting these people to scam them out of being able to survive and owing back money that was told to be forgiven.
My loan was on its way to forgiveness, and Megan Scholz withdrew the application (not legal) and then wrote me that my forgiveness amount was "0". This has to be stopped and fixed, there are thousands of business owners suffering the same fate. Forbes article here. I ache for myself and other innocent businesses, trying to provide retail services to the public, and being targeted during a crisis, by the bank.
Bank of America's Terrible Customer Service: Our Experience with Depositing a State Tax Return Check
Me and my wife are just like any other hardworking folks out there. We ain't rich, but we value every penny we earn. So, when we got our tax return this year, we were over the moon. My wife has been with Bank of America for about 7 years now. She always said she trusted them, but that all changed on February 7th, 2022.
My wife got her Connecticut state return within 5 days of filing her taxes on TurboTax. The DRS sent her a paper check in the mail, and she used the Bank of America app to deposit it. She took a picture of the front and back of the check and was told it would be deposited into her account within two business days.
Two days later, we saw that the check had been deposited into her account, but then the next transaction on her statement said that her check wasn't valid and the money was withdrawn from her account. My wife panicked, thinking someone was stealing her money. With all the scams going on nowadays, who could blame her?
We went to Bank of America to sort it out, but they couldn't do anything for us. Their customer service was terrible, and they were all incompetent. They told us that my wife had to get in touch with the IRS to have them reissue her a state return check of the same amount. As if that would be possible!
Because of Bank of America's mistake, my wife has to wait at least 2 months before she can get her state return. It's a real shame that a big bank like Bank of America can't get their act together and provide better customer service. We won't be banking with them anymore.
Nightmare Customer Service Experience with BOA Credit Card
This bank is really something else. I had an issue with my credit card and let me tell you, it was a nightmare trying to get it resolved. The online system for filing a dispute is a joke. You can't even explain your problem properly because you're limited to only 150 characters. And forget about including any supporting documents, that's just not an option. So I had to call and wait on hold for what felt like forever, only to be told that the representative had the same limited system to work with. I called two more times over the next few days and still nothing was resolved. I had to repeat myself over and over again and got nowhere. Now I have to wait up to a month for the credit card company to respond to BOA before I can even give more details about my case. And get this, I can't even contact the credit card company directly. I have to mail or fax supporting documentation if they ever request it. It's like we're living in the stone age or something. It's all just too much to deal with, especially when I'm already dealing with another ridiculous company.
To make matters worse, my original issue was with Costco.com. They delivered a shattered TV and have been refusing to pick it up for three weeks now. They keep saying they'll come out but never do and won't give me a time or date. They're holding my money hostage and I can only expect three chances for pickup. It's been a nightmare having to be home all the time in case they show up. And now I have to deal with BOA's incompetence on top of it all.
Honestly, this bank just wants you to go away. And that's exactly what I plan on doing. I won't be using this credit card or bank anymore.
Bank of America's Lack of Accommodation for Customers in Difficult Situations
I recently visited the Bank of America website to sign up for a new bank account. They offered to deposit $100 into my account to help me get started, which was a nice gesture. However, I was unable to open the account because I am currently in a physical rehab center and cannot go to a local branch to verify my ID. Despite explaining my situation, the bank was not willing to make any exceptions.
To make matters worse, they sent me a check for the $100 deposit, but I am unable to cash it because I cannot get to a local bank. I asked a friend to deposit it into his checking account, but the bank would not allow it because it was not his check. I am at a loss for what to do, and it seems like the bank does not care about my situation.
I wrote a review and sent a message to their main office, but I have not heard anything back. It is frustrating that they do not seem to care about their customers. In my opinion, Bank of America needs to make some changes to their policies and regulations. They should take a look at their website and make it clear that customers may need to go to a local branch to verify their ID.
It would be helpful if they allowed customers to scan or take a picture of their ID and send it through their website. This would be especially beneficial for people like me who are unable to travel to a local branch. It is disappointing that the bank seems to be stuck in the past and not willing to adapt to modern technology.
Overall, I am disappointed with my experience with Bank of America. They need to be more understanding and accommodating to their customers, especially those who are in difficult situations. I hope that they will take my feedback into consideration and make some changes to improve their services.
