Hi I had the exact same issue as everyone else. I did their $2 free trial and when I tried to cancel within 48 hours I wasn't able to. I contacted the company twice during the 48 hour period trying to get it cancelled and no one had gotten in contact with me. I called the number that was on this website but it was their domain name and they said if I felt they were abusing their services and scamming people to contact [protected]@web.com so they can avoid this from happening again. They also suggested to contact my bank in order to get my money back because the company is not going to do it. I strongly suggest people write to the abuse email and report this website. They are doing this scam and are charging an arm and a leg for it. I hope you all find it helpful and get your money back.

I subscribed for the $20 membership but I had seen you guys charged me $59! I did not want that membership and I canceled my subscription 5 minutes later. Stay away from this company. They lead you to believe that you will have a free trial and the next day they charged my credit card $59.95. I emailed them immediately to cancel and they told me there are no refunds. Save yourself. Unethical and horrible customer service.

I unsubscribed from bartleby months ago and yet they are still charging me $9.99 monthly even though i checked so many times if i'm unsubscribed, turns out I am but they're are still charging me for it. They kept my account information which I erased so that I would not be charged after trial and they charged my account.. that's stealing! When I saw they had stolen my money I contacted them immediately but they insisted on keeping my $30 as I looked online they membership is only 9.99 why the hell did they take $30!

I've cancelled my subscription with Bartleby since March and they've been systematically charging my card nonstop since then. They also do not reply to any messages sent through their portal.
