what is the restroom policy
Basically brought my girlfriend there to do some shopping upon waiting on her I needed to use the restroom an was told there's no public restroom so I ended going across the street in the rain an cold to urinate... which I think I very unfair so I wonder if it was an elder that need to go to the restroom I assume they would need to go across the street a...

I purchased 3 items and supposedly got 3 free of equal or lesser value. After looking at the receipt everything was marked down and nothing was "free". When I asked the cashier what is free she attempted to get out a calculator to show me where and what is free. After several minutes of looking confused she stated that "basically" their free but there's a lesser charge just in case of a return. I told her either it's free or not free but there is nothing basic about this fraudulent sale. I asked for my money back and returned the entire order. I'm very disappointed in bath and body works for false advertising and will no longer buy from there.
"fireside" 3 wick candle
Hi Bath and Body Works.
I recently purchased a Fireside three wick candle - I was so excited as it's one of my all-time favourites. However after the first burn I noticed that part of the label had started to peel back. After another session of burning the candle I noticed spots of the label had actually started to burn and melt away (photos attatched). I understand that the jars get very hot, but to have it melt away the label is quite dangerous. I have never had this happen to me with any of my other BBW 3-wicks. I still love the product however the packaging is making me apprehensive to burn the other candle that I purchased. I have always been a huge fan of Bath and Body Works/White Barn and all of its products, but this struck me as a serious safety concern. Please consider your labelling material in the future.
employment unfairness
Hi, my name is Geneva Clay. I currently work at Bath and Body Works at the Hip Mall in Norridge Illinois. I got hired for seasonal and late October and started training November 1st-November 2nd. For some reason, they told me and another girl to go home because we came at 12. However, It was about ten other girls that came at the same time as us, so I was very much so confused. I've waited for my ride, and didn't see any other girls come out, so it made me upset. I asked for my scheldule and one of the managers gave me a url to log in.
When I got home, I saw that I worked 6 days later on a Thursay, from 4pm to 11 pm. I was very excited. There was about 3-4 people working my shift. Then during closing hours, there ended up being me and two other girls. The girl asked me to leave around 9:40, again super confused. I clocked out after taking the trash and I left.
Looking at my scheldule, every morning and afternoon after this day, I began to be worried. Off days were keep getting added to my scheldule. I called my manager and she told me not to worry, I would have a lot of days to work during Thanksgiving week. I became excited again and was worried free.
A couple days pass by, and I decided to check my scheldule again, just knowing I would have some work days. However, I had about 9 more off days added, including the Thanksgiving week. I had another interview at the same mall one day and decided to stop by to talk to the manager in person. I asked her why do I have so many off-days, I'm very worried. She said it's based off avalablity, even though I had open availability. Talking to my manager gave me no hope, and I got bad energy from her as if she didn't want me there. I was receving little response from my questions, and I came to the conclusion that there's something they're not telling me.
I did talk to another employee there. I saw her twice after we worked our training shift together. She told me she was getting hours, and she was shocked that my first day started so late. She also mentioned that she didn't leave early the day everyone was training.
I'm worried I will be fired soon and didn't really even get a chance to work. I'm quite good at the register, but all of these off days make me believe that I will need training all over again. Please reply with your thoughts and my next step.
store in oakville, ontario
Sunday, November 11, I went to the Oakville store. As soon as I walk in I can hear the lady at the front get onto the radio to tell the staff how to handle me. Totally put me off and I said very plainly I didn't want help. What I wanted to buy was right in front of me but this lady's over agressive sales techniques made me walk out. She attacked again on the way out. The second time I ignored her I could hear her unflattering remarks to her friend and with her third attempt to get my attention I stormed out of the store. I don't go shopping to be harassed. Be there if I want help but let me look. When I ignore you and plainly said I don't want help then leave me alone. I don't think I can enjoy your product again!
Omgosh that's absolutely uncalled for. I would definitely call head office and explain what happened. Whomever was involved would be dismissed immediately. I'm actually quite surprised to read this. I'm so sorry that you had to endure this behaviours.
candles
My daughter has a huge collection of these candles and every time she has damn lit I start to feel nauseous and get pretty bad headaches. Most recently, are dog was in her bedroom with her while her bedroom door was closed and the candle was lit. A few moments later as I started to feel nauseous I opened her bedroom door to ask her to blow out the candle a dog ran out of her bedroom and vomited. There's something very toxic about these candles.
Darn autocorrect- them lit & our dog*
store management
Hi. My name is Peyton Smith. I was hired at your Crabtree Valley Mall store in Raleigh, NC, on the second level, almost a month ago. After several attempts trying to contact the manager on when I was to start my training, they finally called and scheduled me for a day to train. When I got to work, the two employees I worked with did not realize I was training and no attempts were made to properly train me that evening. I waited to hear from someone for my schedule and when i would have my training, I never got a call or anything. After 3 weeks went by and several attempts on my part to speak to someone, nobody called to schedule or train me and anything of the sort. They always said to call the manager at a certain time but when I tried she was never available. I assumed I was no longer wanted for employment there. Yesterday, almost a month later, a manager texted me to work ONE day. This Friday, for 5 hours. After not hearing from ANYONE for almost a month, I am scheduled to work for ONE DAY, and I've had ZERO training days at this store. I proceeded to text the manager about the situation. I have another job, that has me scheduled that day to work. The manager was very rude and not understanding at all. She said if I quit now it would be job abandonment and I needed to put my 2 week notice in. I am very irritated at this time. I was excited about working at one of my favorite stores, before this I was a loyal customer, I absolutely love Bath & Body Works. I do not know if you realize how this store is run and managed, but it is very unprofessional and disorganized. My mother said she has never seen a store hire someone, then completely forget to train them for a month then expect them to come and work when they will not know what they are doing. I am not "abandoning this job". As far as I am concerned they have had my 3 week notice done . I hope you address how this store is managed, I am very disappointed and was looking forward to my employment there. Thank you and have a nice holiday.
Rude Manager at the store in Gateway, Brooklyn, New York by the name of Jenny.
My mom, sis and I visited this store on December 6, 2018. We purchased items, when combined, total over $300.00. There was a promotion on, $10 off every purchase of $30 dollars. We asked her that since it is a large order would she be able to apply the promotion more than once. She promptly said "No. One per customer". We further stated that at another location last week, we again purchased a large amount (over $200.00) and the store Manager (Kings Plaza location in Brooklyn) was very courteous. We did receive a discount. Her response was, "well this is not Kings Plaza and if she wanted to go against protocol then that's her" further, "I'm not going to go against policy". We stated that we don't want you to go against you policy but can anything else be done? Her response was " No, I've already said this twice so at this point its being redundant - I'm not going to say it again. Now my mom who is in a wheelchair and could not really hear what was being said, was asking my sister and I what did she say. We then began to repeat it to mom and the rude manager interrupted and kept saying "I'm not going to repeat it again" We said, we're not talking to you we are informing mom what you said. Her rude remark was, " well I'm still hearing it and I do not want to hear it". My sister said to her as a professional, you need to learn how to deal with customers better. We're not speaking with you. At that point she remained silent.
Clearly she needs to attend customer service classes and learn how to speak to people as well as have a more professional dress appearance. Having your clothes too small with everything hanging out at this sides is really not a good reflection for the store.
I hope upper management looks into this individual and that some disciplinary action is taken. Totally RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL person.
glitter square vent clip scentportable holder
The scent holder leaked onto my car dash and the oil literally ate away pieces of the dash. It happened so quickly that I could not contain its affects. The photos show the after affect of the oil that leaked onto the dashboard. It will also show that my plastic dashboard became a paper like substance after the oil spilled. I was unable to DIY repair.
rude worker
Today I went to bath and body works after just having surgery last week. I am going through treatment for cancer and Chemo messes with how I read numbers and letters. I accidentally read a wrong price. I asked about it and then worker rudely told me the price and spoke to me like I was stupid. It really hurt me. I brushed it off. And wanted to just put a few items back because I didn't want to spend that much. She was so rude and nasty to me. Interrupting my grandmother when she was trying to explain how to use the coupons. Making me feel like I was being rushed and said "do you want me to just cancel it all" I just said yes because she wasn't pleasant and it was overwhelming me. I left with nothing and know I'll have a hard time remembering what I picked out. She was even talking to other employees rudely or like they were slow.
shipping and package
My granddaughter, Alexis, ordered your products online. She is currently serving in the Navy in Japan. She will be coming home on December 17th for a 6 day leave and asked me to hold this package for her.
When the package arrived it was seriously dented and I opened it to make sure that none of the products were damaged. When I opened the box half of the items were every which way in the box with the tops off of them. There was no stability to keep the items from moving around. It looked like the employee who packaged the items just threw them in the box and taped it up. None of the items were damaged luckily just thrown around like garbage.
Wow, this young lady is over in Japan protecting our country and gets treated like this.
I will let her know when she comes home about your shipping and packaging methods.

employment problems
On Friday November 2nd I was hired, I worked on November 3rd and was not clocked on for the time I worked. I got told I would have the schedule on Monday November 5th, I did not get a call or an email on the schedule. I called in on Wednesday November 7th and was told Jennifer would call me back that night I never got a call, I went in on Friday November 9th and asked about if I got a employee discount and I was told that I was not in their system as a employee. I got a call on November 11 saying that I needed to fill out paperwork that day or else I would be terminated. I went in filled out the paperwork and I got put on the scheduled for Tuesday November 13, to go in at 11 a.m.-4 p.m. I called in and explained that I was unable to come in due to being a high school student at Lakewood High School, and she asked me "so you aren't able to come in?" I was also scheduled to work on Tuesday November 20th from 12 p.m.- 5 p.m. I changed my availability for week days for 3 p.m.-9 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. I changed my availability on Wednesday November 14 at 10:30 a.m. I have called in and told them I am unable to work week days until after 3 p.m. And I told Jennifer that I am a High School Student. I work at the Bath and Body Works in Heath Ohio, in the Indian Mound Mall.
wallflower plug in
Good morning,
I have been using the bath and body wallflower plug in and would like to bring a concern about the damage it has done to my electrical outlet where I plug it in. I have attached photos and as you can see I rotate through the bottom and top plug as I change refills and you can see at the lower portion where it is bubbled up and discolored.
customer service
I'm a usual customer at this store and I had my 2 yr old with me and he needed to use the restroom. He knows exactly where the restroom is located because we go there twice a month. One of the employees approached to me and in a very rude way told me he could not use the restroom becuase it wasn't a public restroom. How can you tell a 2 yr old to hold it and not to go to the restroom? Is either she way to stupid or doesn't have any manners on how to treat a customer. I spoke to the manager but I know they usually don't do as they say. I am requesting for this to be taken in consideration and for people to know that they do have rights and to stand for them.
kicked out of store
Good evening, my name is Cierra and I just visited a store in Findlay, Ohio. A group of friends and I were walking into the store but was stopped and asked to leave unless we were planning on buying something. Being respectful, we walked away as we were not planning on buying anything. A little while later, however, we decided to go and look to see what we could get for Christmas gifts, or even to pamper ourselves. A few minutes into trying to decide what to get for Christmas gifts, we were stopped by a security guard asked us to leave and escorted us out. We did not do anything wrong and are very angry at the fact that security was called on us for simply shopping. Needless to say, we will not be going into that store again any time soon.
does bath & body works gift wrap your purchases?
In the past, when I purchased something in store from Bath & Body Works, they have gift wrapped the items for me. Other times, they offered me the wrapping stuff to wrap it myself. Now, they just throw my stuff in a plastic bag when it is obviously for a gift. What is their policy? Does it need to be a certain amount before they will offer gift wrapping? Am I just being discriminated against? It was not busy on my shopping trip. It was Monday morning and I was only one of two people shopping in the store at the time. Maybe I should buy my body lotions, etc. from Victoria's Secret in the future.
was not even asked if I needed help
Went to the mall to specifically, to buy products at bath and body works. Absolutely none of the associates, there had to be at least 15 in the store, didn't ask if I needed help. They looked me straight in the eye, not even welcome was said. Funny though they were chasing teen's around helping them, by the way none of those teenagers bought product! I would have probable spent close too 100 dollars. Was it because I have silver hair (i'm only 50) I color it silver by choice. Then I proceeded to the connecting store (White Barn) loved the campfire coffee, but guess what happened! NO ONE ASKED me if I needed Help. Would have spent more of my money there to! The only difference, I was not the only (older lady) not being helped. I would think, your business would target people like me. No children at home, Not a senior on a fixed income. meaning I HAVE $ TO SPEND! I doubt those teens the now smell horrific, had 10 dollar's to there name. Was it the silver hair, age discrimination.I hope not.
harassing mailings
For over a year I have been trying to get Bath & Body Works to stop sending me mail for someone who has not lived here for 4 years. I have returned mail and written to them directly but the mailings continue. It is in the realm of harassment now. There is not one single product I want from Bath & Body Works. People would say "just throw it away" but I liken their mail to someone walking their dog to poop on my lawn and expect me to go out to pick it up. I want the mail to stop!
are you aware of when the last day of fall is?
The answer: The last day of Fall is Dec 21st. How is it when I visited a B&BW's store this past weekend (OCTOBER 27th) that I was looking at winter scents? You all realize there's a month called November that doesn't resemble the winter months right? Common knowledge would mean that when i walked into the store that I would be looking at my most FAVORITE FALL scents. I can admit Dec 21st is an extended period of time to call "fall" but you or I don't make the rules for calendar dates. So how's bout meeting in the middle and release the winter scents on "Black friday?" Quit ruining fall for everyone because you're so eager to get these wintet scents out. Yours truely a "millennial" who has feelings too.
delivery of broken items
My order #[protected] contained 4 broken plug-in scents pkgs. There was no packing to support the glass items
Farmstead Apple (2 pack) $5.00
Pumpkin Pecan Waffles (2-2 packs) $9.80
Pumpkin Caramel Latte (2 pack) $5.00
The lotions and hand soaps were in tact. As was the candle.
I would like either a refund or resending of items.
I am a long time customer and this is only the second time I've had packing issues that resulted in damaged items.
I am a former employee
My name is Aieryssa. Back in 2015, I worked as a seasonal employee at Bath and Body Works and I am filing a complaint against three former co-workers located at the Arcadia shopping mall; 400 S. Baldwin Ave. The names are Kim, Chris Fox and Ray Ray. I was a brand new hire, and of course, I was making basic mistakes as I was learning my way around the job. However, on my very first day, Ray Ray very rudely told me that she had a problem with me, and I was still only learning. Chris Fox often harassed me and made me feel very uncomfortable whenever I made mistakes. Around Christmas season, I fell very sick with abdominal pains and ended up in the hospital for a few days where I discovered that I was pregnant. I had no way to contact the job, so I just waited to stop by in person to let them know what happened. When I did, I spoke with Kim and she had nothing but a very nasty attitude toward me, and this was not the first time. I told her about having been in the hospital and about the pregnancy, and I'm quoting what she said "Getting pregnant was your mistake, not mine! If we could term you for that, we definitely would!" The main manager, Tara, walked into the room a few minutes after that, so unfortunately, she did not witness this part of the conversation. I was, however, forced to resign. I am still very angry about it and I don't feel that I deserved that kind of treatment at any point in time by anybody, especially as a new hire! I just thought that this form of bad management should be brought to your attention.
