Today, 11/29/17, I went into a store location near my home, I attempted to ask 2 different associates for assistance and was ignored by both. Attempted to find the item myself and couldn't, so I approached both associates a second time and was once again ignored. I then left the store without making a purchase, sorry to say, they've lost a loyal customer.
the buy 3 get 3 deal
My husband purchase six candles the day of the buy 3 and get 3 free sale and paid 73.50 so when I looked at the receipt it didn't say anything was for free and the manager explain that the prices are prorated. Well I feel me and my husband was ripped off because if you're advertising free then it should be free not PRORATED maybe the sign needs to say buy 3...

I went to the Dodge City, KS store and was interested in the $25 bag promotion. I was told that there weren't anymore grey bags available for that promotion. Then a customer that came in after I did was given one. I asked why and was told that the Manager was saving them for "certain people ". After much complaint and informing them that I would be filing a complaint they somehow "found" me a grey bag. I think it's unprofessional for the Manger to use her position to benefit only whom she wants to have certain items when customers in the store are denied them and then others are receiving them after the previous customer requested it and was told there were none available.
I just wanted to make sure someone knew what the Manager of the Dodge City, KS store was doing.

As a employee at bath and body works I have experience many experiences and seen how bad employees are threated their bath and body works store 2149 in casa grande az 85122 store manager (Donna) she had a son of her self who got hired for christmas last year and has been their since then. Store has lost so many employees do to the unfairness their is their. As x employee of her I can tell you theirs so many on happy employees trying to leave do to what's going on. She has lost really good people because of her lack of her not treating everyone the same. Her son is currently still their with more hours then better employees who can get the job done! Store has new hires who have had no shift longer the 3 hours or 1 shift. She also has employee named mackenzie who does not sale! But again she has all the hours. Do to her being someone she wants her son to date the store has great people that give up instead of trying any more. Its like a tag game one day she can like you the next she wants you out and will make us quit on our own. Do to the way she treats us I really hope you guys some day can do something because nothing has been done. Instead people keep leaving over and over I loved working at bath and body works the time I was their and I wish it could be managed better and so people wouldn't leave. Thank you for the opportunity of being employee their.

I have purchased two of the metal soap holders and both have rust on the bottom. I doubt I could return these being that it has been months since I have purchased them. However, seeing as they are suppose to be around water and that is their sole purpose to be by a sink I think you should make them rust proof. I is awful to pick them up and have a rust ring under on my counter top.
vanilla pumpkin marshmallow 3-wick scented candle
Burning candle for approx 1.5 hours as usual when I was walking by my dining room table and I noted that there was wax pouring out around the candle onto my brand new dining room table! I immediately put out the candle and noted a huge v shaped crack in the glass of the candle jar. The melted was now hardening all over my table runner and brand new dining room table. I did take pictures. There must have been a defect with this candle... I am a very satisfied customer of bath & body works and have used several of your candles and other products, however never ever dealt with something like this... Something that could have potentially caused a serious fire... Causing a huge loss!
worker at a store
I am just contacting you to let you know that kathy that works at the opry mills location was very rude. She was moving displays when the store was packed with people at lunch time. There were four lines of people and she made one man with a stroller move out of our line to back up and make room for her display. She wasn't nice about it either. Multiple people were all talking about it around me as well. It was not a good look for the store. And I saw a costumer walk out after kathy was rude to her without buying anything. I love bath and body works and go there often. I have been to multiple locations and have never had a bad experience. This woman was rude and disrespectful to customers and I have never seen that before. It was unacceptable.

Please bring back forever red. It's my favorite perfume, and I've tried so hard to get my hands on another bottle but every store discontinued. I've even looked online and everyone selling them triple the actual price. I know many others are upset with it discontinuing. What makes you discontinue products in the first place? I just feel like from what I'm hearing the product was very popular, so why discontinue it?
If a product is discontinued, it is usually due to sales, supply, or production. Unfortunately perfume is not usually purchased really regularly (once a month or even once a year). It sounds like the price is being inflated by others because it has been discontinued.

As I was in Carolina mall over the weekend with my daughter I had a very rude cashier who had a horrible attitude and just acted like she hated having to serve me. I love shopping here but this makes me not even want to return and spend my money here. I am so shocked that a person with such an attitude was even hired. I normally have a great experience but I am so disappointed.

I had two coupons I planned on using (free gift up you 14.50 and $10. Off $30). I live 40miles away from any bath and body works, but I have a budget I'm going by and I figured I was gonna get 5 items and with the coupons I had, I would only spend about 25 plus tax. I got to checkout and the girl says you can get another item for free, I said no I'm good, bc in my mind I had it all figured out, the pricing and The quantity. She says it's free, go get one. I was like scan my coupons and let me see the price, she says I promise it's free. I was like ok whatever by then, I got another item and I said just try it without it first then scan the last item I brought up. But she didn't. My total was 37.99. If I was wrong about the coupons and how I figured it up before I drove 40 miles, that's fine. But I just don't see why she wouldn't do what I asked when I told her to scan my coupons before adding that 6th item. trying to return (for an exchange only) defective merchandise
I have been a loyal bath & body works customer for years, and today was the first time I have been treated extremely poorly. I have a defective wallflower "bulb" which I had placed in a halloween-themed unit a couple weeks ago. Since halloween is over (And since my "bulb" was still almost half full), I decided to remove it and place it in a different wall unit; however, the "wick" part of the "bulb" was damaged (Almost swollen), so it would not fit in my regular wallflower plug-ins. I explained this to the customer service woman at the store today asking if I could receive a replacement, and she denied my request saying it was "used" then walked away.in the past, I have requested actual wallflower units to be replaced since they stop working/heating after @ 6 months, and I have always been accommodated.
The store I visited is 81136 (Upstairs at the mall of ga). The clerk was 3168732 (As indicated on the receipt since she was also the one who checked me out when I purchased 5 additional wallflower "bulbs," a 3 wick candle, and some shower gel. The transaction # is 9228 at register 005.
Additionally, this particular bath & body works representative (She was the same person who would not allow me a replacement "bulb" as the person who checked me out at the register) rolled her eyes when I pointed out she forgot to scan my coupons and pushed my bag with purchases at me without further comment.

I bought worth $299.00 of their product and asked for paper bags for all the items that I, bought because it's a gift, they offer a cell and ribbon but I need paper bags, but they refuse to give me and I was surprise, I went back again on the next day and I show my receipt, thinking that they will give me some, but staff and manager didn't give me any, even one ... WOW! I was so dissatisfied with the customer service. JUST A PAPER BAG !

lotions
Why in the heck did you put coconut oil in your lotions like my favorite Japanese Cherry Blossom?.. do you not realize that lotions are absorbed into the skin and those of us that have allergies to certain things can have a reaction from the coconut oil being absorbed into the skin.. As a result, I cannot purchase any of those lotions.. Please consider those of us that have allergies and purchase your products and continue making them without the coconut oil... Thank you for your time and attention in this matter
3 wick candle
I have used the 3wick candles for years. Yesterday, after using a candle for only the second time, it began to melt the plastic wrapping and began to smoke severely. This has never happened and I feel unsafe using these plastic labeled candles now. I hope that Bath and Body works takes this complaint seriously so that it doesn't happen again. This could have led to something much worse!

I had a bad experience with a cashier at Bath and Body Works of Concord Mills Malls
( Concord, NC). I purched a couple of wallflowers and when I was paying I asked if I could use a coupon, which I saw on Retail Me Not. (10 off of 30) The cashier very rudely said no. I was totally fine, but then she went on telling me very loudly that the coupon was fake and a picture, other customers were looking. This made me feel embarrassed as if I was doing something really wrong and illegal. I again told the cashier ok she didn't need to explain any further. Then very rudely she pulled out a real coupon that was already ripped and then showed me saying " see this is the real coupon customer specific" I again told her that she didn't need to explain further. Again customers were looking. I purchased the wall flowers, but I was so upset with the associate that I decided to return the wallflowers Several minutes later. When I returned the wallflowers the same associate helped me out. I explained to her that she was very rude to me with her explanation of the coupon, I didn't need an explanation. She again began to explain the coupon policy, and I again told her she didn't need to explain. After returning the wall flowers she very sarcastically asked me if I wanted to speak to the Manager, but I refused. I was too upset at the time.
I don't care that the coupon was invalid, the problem was how the associate handled it and treated me as a customer. I ended up going to a different bath and body works and purchasing my wallflowers there.
oil scent
Oily scent are not strong smelling as they were.like the peppermint twist I would put it in my room it would clear my sinuses up but know it not strong as a peppermint smell.its like they decrease the oil smells an diluted it.the new body lotion won't buy the organic what happen to bath& body works .get the oil scent light in the store that what brought me in.
coupon and customer service issues
Bath and Body Works at the Dartmouth, MA mall. I was given a "free item of your choice with any $10 purchase" coupon (up to $13 value) the last time I shopped at Bath and Body Works. The coupon listed exclusions on the back (no gift sets, third party merchandise, can't use on gift card purchases, etc). The fine print on the back did NOT say the coupon couldn't be used with other sales, sale items, or offers.
There was a sale going on for "buy 2 get 1 free." In my mind this means I could get two shower gels (all priced at $12.50 each), then the third one would be free. Total for two shower gels plus the third free one (from the sale) was about $29 with tax (meets the requirement for a $10 purchase the coupon needs), and since the price of each shower gel was $12.50 (lower than the $13 value for the free item on the coupon). Therefore, I would be paying for 1 shower gel, and two would be free because I could take advantage of both the sale and the coupon. However, at the register both cashiers told me I would still have to pay the $29 price for two shower gels, then get the free one from the sale, then get a separate one free with the coupon. This didn't make any sense to me, because the fine print on the coupon didn't say I couldn't use it along with a sale deal. If it can't be used along with a "buy this many get this many free offer" then it needs to be stated on the back of the coupon. The store always has BOGO sales going on, if customers can't use the coupons with the BOGO sales, then what am I supposed to do with the coupon? Buy a tiny hand sanitizer? That was the only thing in the store that didn't seem to be on sale or part of a BOGO offer. If tiny hand sanitizer is all you can get with the coupon then you should just make it a "free tiny hand sanitizer with a $10 purchcase" instead of "free item of your choice."
I find the coupon highly misleading, and the two cashiers at the store were pretty rude to me while I was trying to sort out the problem. I was nice about it, I explained my reasoning a few times, and stepped aside to let other customers go ahead of me so they didn't have to wait while I sorted the issue out. The cashiers kept rolling their eyes and talking to me as if I was stupid. I've worked at customer service before, I know there are annoying customers workers deal with all the time. But you're supposed to still be as nice and polite as possible unless they become threatening. I didn't yell, I wasn't rude, I calmly asked them to explain why it didn't work and all they did was interrupt my questions before I could finish asking them and talk down to me. Their only answer for me was "it won't work" or "the computer doesn't show it that way." If it doesn't work, that's fine, but I deserve an answer as to why it doesn't work so I'm not standing in a store full of people feeling embarrassed because I don't understand what's going on.
First, I highly suggest you either add "sale offers not included" to the fine print on your coupons so you aren't lying to customers. Second, you need to train your Dartmouth, MA store's employees on better customer service techniques.
I've love Bath and Body Works scents, but they're overpriced as it is and I don't see why I should bother going to the stores if the workers are going to treat people like that.
hand soaps
Hello, my name is Karleen Kersch. I made a recent online purchase of 6 hand soaps for $25. 4 of those soaps came with plastic around the cap and the other 2 did not. 1 of the 2, the lid was still screwed shut, thankfully. And the 2nd one that did not have the plastic around the lid was open as the lid was unscrewed and the soap leaked all over inside of the package. As I really enjoy the products from this company, I was really displeased to find out that 1 of the soaps was actually opened leaking all over. I had a mess to clean up and had to rinse off the other bottles of soap and I have only a half of a bottle left out of the one that spilled.
japanese cherry blossom
I have shopped your store for years and recently you changed the formula for the lotions! Japenese cherry blossom is the ONLY scent I like! Now it doesn't even smell like it anymore. The scent is different and very weak! I will not return again unless by some chance you get enough complaints and go back to the original scents! Habe you ever heard the phrase "if it's not broken, don't fix it!"?

I bought 3 body sprays that were on sale, this sale sign said buy 3 get 2 for free, i have proof and receipts, know the question is why did I have to pay for 2 body sprays is the sale sign said that i would only have to pay for 1, i asked the sales lady she very rudely said that the sale consisted of paying for 2. I would like a refund.
