Their salesperson, John, arrived on time and was very knowledgeable about all the systems they offer. He answered all my questions. Sarah and Mark in the office were not only friendly, but very knowledgeable also. Sarah helped us with the financing and kept us up-to-date on the availability of our new system. Great company, with people who know what customer service is and deliver. I highly recommend Bay Area Air Conditioning.

My air conditioning system quit working on a Thursday in July. John the Service Manager, David, Glen, Matt, and Dale, who drove 2 hours from Crystal River, all worked tirelessly to get my system up and running. With parts shortages, they searched high and low to get the necessary parts. They worked on my system every day except Sunday. I honestly do not know of another company that would do this for one customer. I am so appreciative and grateful and there really are not enough words to express my feelings. They really care about people. If you need a new AC system, you need to call this company.

Starting on June 3 I have paid a total of $937 and they still have not repaired my unit and refused to refund my money
Starting on June 3 I have paid a total of $937 and they still have not repaired my unit and refused to refund my money unless I buy more from them On 6/3 I called the Bay Air because my air conditioning wasn't working. They sent someone out and charged me $67 for a diagnostic test. At that point he said he would come back the next day and discuss what parts we need and install it. He returned on 6/4 and informed us his diagnosis test Indicated we needed to replace our defrost board for $870. So on June 4 he replaced that part. On June 5 I called them back because the air-conditioning unit wasn't working. I asked if they just guess when they come out and they said no that their test is very elaborate and tells them exactly what needs to be replaced so she sent another person out to check our unit. This gentleman came out and said the last worker never pushed in our thermostat tightly and the pens weren't matching up. When he left the air conditioning was running For approximately 45 minutes. So I called them back the next day since we have now spent a total of 937.00 and still do not have air-conditioning. This time they sent Keith out who said it was our compressor and that he would send us a quote for a new unit. I asked him about the part they replace for 870.00 That did not correct the problem and according to Keith the way I understood it Is we didn't even need that part and they said they would not refund my money unless I bought the new air-conditioning unit through them. So needless to say I'm very disappointed with this company. I feel like This was a bait and switch as each tech that came out seemed to tell a different story of what I needed. Now they want another $6996 to replace my unit. That price includes refunding the part that I didn't need or didn't work. I feel like I'm being held hostage to a company that three times couldn't get my unit working and wait until the third guy to come out to tell us we need to replace it after taking almost $1000 of my money. Instead of replacing a part they should've just told me that right up front that I needed a new unit. Another air conditioning company informed me that the part has a warranty and if they took the part back they could get a refund. I feel like they really ripped me of so I do not recommend this company. We are not going to give them another chance so now I am out $937.00. I will be contacting the ComplaintsBoard.com among my other options.
