could not exchange battery because no person to do the job on site
Worst customer service I ever experienced by the assistant manager - Rommel Vasquez.
We own a Toyota Fleet car and got the NRMA service out to test the battery of the vehicle after it failed to start. The NRMA person did a quick test and said that the battery was faulty and that we can take it back to Beaurepaires for an exchange because it was still under warranty.
I went to Wyong Beaurepairs and a very helpfull person Peter said that it would not be a problem to replace the battery but unfortunately did not have the specific battery in stock. Peter called Gosford Beaurepaires and confirmed that they had the correct battery in stock and told Rommel that he will send the customer over.
When we arrived at Gosford Beaurepairs at 4:40PM Rommel the assistand Manager was outside talking to another worker. When I got out the car I could immediately feel a bad vibe. I showed Rommel the Invoice of the battery that they have supplied and the battery test showing the battery was faulty( supplied by the NRMA Ranger) After explaining that I was send by Peter from Wyong Rommel said that there is nobody to change the battery and that the mechanic is not there at the moment. I suggested that I will take out the battery and install the new one. Rommel then said that they need to test the battery first but would also not be able to do that because the mechanic is not there. I showed him the print out that the NRMA person gave me again but he just said he cant help. Rommel got very aggressive towards me and my wife and said that he is not able to do anything. Rommel also said that we don't pay for the battery but Toyota fleet? He also said that what do we expect it is 4h40Pm?
It feels like he did not like the fact that Wyong send us to them and they must do an exchange of the battery at that time of the day ?
What Tyre and Battery business do not have a person on site that can test a battery or install a new one?
We drove home and have to get the NRMA out again tomorrow to help start the vehicle to go and source a new battery because Rommel decided to get rid of Customers that have supported Beaurepaires for many years. But never again!
It was the worst customer service we ever experienced from any business.
damaged all 4 rims and not taking responsibility
I don't like to publicly shame a business but I have never been spoken too or treated with such disrespect in my life! I had new tyres put on my car last friday at beaurepairs mount gambier sa and my rims come back completely jacked up. After speaking to multiple people in the same industry they all confirmed what I believed to have happened... Tyre fitting machine and fitter error.
I went to beaurepairs wednesday morning 4/7/18 and as I got out of the car, one of their employees was walking out to his car and as I know him personally, he came over to see what I was doing there. I told him my car just got new tyres put on on friday 29/6/18 and i'd come down to see who had wrecked all my rims. He walked around my car looking at every rim and told me it was from the tyre fitting machine and obviously someone who doesn't know how to do their job properly. He then said this definitely wasn't me but go in and speak to them about it, they will know who did it because it will be written on the job card. He then said it's not good enough and he would be pissed too if it was his car.
I then went in to speak to the owners but as they weren't there, I showed one of the managers who took photos and told me she would speak to her boss and call me back later. An hour later the owner called me back and the way he spoke to me was absolutely horrendous! He tried to tell me that the marks on my rims were old and already there when my car went in on friday. When I tried telling him that aside of some gutter rash marks, every single rim has been damaged and was clearly the fault of the fitter and machine to which he completely denied. I then told him that even one of his employees had come out to have a look and told me himself that the damage has definitely been done by the tyre machine. He went quiet and said oh really? Who was that if you don't mind me asking? I told who it was which was a big mistake. He then told me to go into the shop so he could show me exactly how to change and fit a tyre on the machine so I could see myself that it wasn't the fitting machine. I agreed to go in and told him that this wasn't good enough and he needed to sort this out. He told me no were done, this isn't my problem those marks are old and were already there. I then asked to speak to his wife to which he told me "if she gets a spare 5mins, i'll get her to call you."
After speaking to my brother he then rang and spoke to the female owner (this guys wife) on the phone as they personally known eachother. He told her what had happened to my rims and how rude and disrespectful her husband had been to me on the phone. She then told my brother that a guy had just recently gone in there complaining that the exact same thing had happened to his rims so they will have to start taking before and after photos. She said it's a bit hard to sort over the phone so come in later so we can have a look at them.
In the meantime I take my car down to trident to ask the boys down there what they think... I'm told 100% tyre fitter and machine error! Confirming my own thoughts on what's happened.
We went into beauys at 4pm waiting for the owners to arrive. Eventually the extremely rude and disrespectful owner pulls up. He walks straight past my brother who was already out of the car and walks into the workshop. After a few minutes he comes over to my car. He has a quick look and then starts going on about how the damage is from hitting the gutters and that their is no way that it was at fault of the machine and fitter. After my brother says, well how come these marks are on the exact same spot, on every spoke, on every single rim of her car!? He says I don't know but it didn't happen here. I then ask him how come your wife said that its not the first time someone has complained, we had a guy just recently come in complaining that the same thing had happened to his rims. He says I don't know what she said but she is a bit of a pushover to be truthful. Not really letting us get another word in, he tells us to follow him into the workshop so he can show us himself on a brand new rim and tyre.
We go in to watch as he continues to tell us that those marks were not from the machine. Once he is done, I then told him "okay, now go and get my tyre off my car and do it." he said, okay well can you atleast give me a few minutes to sort this other guy out and i'll wave you in when i'm ready. I'm thinking, ha! Okay so you want me to walk out to my car so you can re-adjust the head on the fitting machine so it won't line up with the deep scratches on my rims. I'm onto you mate 😠
5 minutes later he waves me in. By this point my brother has had to leave and said he will be back soon once he's loaded his truck. I drive in and he starts jacking up my car and removing my front tyre. He then tells me to follow him over to the fitting machine. By his stage I know i'm not going to get anywhere with him as he has obviously readjusted the machine. He points to another tyre fitting machine and tells me that he doesn't know how to work that one so we will have to wait for his employee (the one who had earlier confirmed it was at fault of the machine and fitter) to finish up his tyre before he could do mine. He explains what he is doing and continues to tell me that it's not possible for the machine to have caused the damage on my rims. He locks my tyre into place and the lines are not quite lining up. He admits that the damage is fresh (even though on the phone earlier he told me that the damage was old) now he's starting to change his story! He then puts the tyre back on my car and again completely denies that they're at fault. I then pointed to this employee and say "well how come your own employee came out earlier looking at my car and said himself that it was definitely damaged from your machine?" he looks at me with a smug look on his face and says "nah, he said it was damaged from a tyre machine but he didn't say it was from ours." seriously!? He basically admitted to me then and there that it was damaged from the tyre machine but tries to then tell me that some other business must have damaged them because it didn't happen in his shop. I've then told him you know they weren't like this when I dropped my car off on friday. He says no I don't know that, I wasn't here. I said you think that i'm stupid, I had a partner work here for over 10yrs, i've been in here many times out of hrs watching some of these guys changing tyres on multiple occasions so i've seen exactly how it happens. He says "I don't care who has worked here or what you've seen. I then tell him okay, you'll be hearing from me then because i'm going to have to take this further. He says"I don't care."
These rims were brand new when I bought my car and aside of a couple gutter rash marks caused by me, my rims were in perfect condition until friday when I dropped my car off to beaurepairs. Here's some before and after pics, what do you think? I am absolutely appalled at the way jack gabrielli has handles this and refuses to take responsibility for the damage that has been done. If I was his wife, I would be extremely embarrassed at the way he speaks to his customers. I have included before and after pics of my rims and the damage that has been done. Please do something about this.

door to door marketing
Today Thurs 25 Feb 2016 at my home in Box Hill North Vic, on TWO separate occasions between 1pm and 3.30pm, I had people knocking at my door representing Beaurepaires.
They were trying to interest me in car servicing. The first fellow was a tall bearded man with a beaurepaires shirt and the second time a young lady with an American accent.
Now I don't normally have to put up with door to door people as I have a LARGE sign next to my front door saying do not knock if you are a sales person, canvasser, religious group, charity caller or cold caller. Both these representatives chose to ignore the sign and wake me from an afternoon sleep, I'm an older retired citizen.
I have emailed media relations at Good year and Beaurepaire feddback hoping to educate them a little
