your 3rd party refused to deliver and replace the existing fridge stating the doors had to come off they do not the fridge was brought in with the doors on it,
I spoke with 7 different "Total Tech" experts with absolutely no remedy except to tell me my fridge could be delivered Aug 2 the earliest and I would have to pay to have the doors removed then Denise came back and said I would have to remove the doors.
I cancelled this $3600.00 order to get back $3200.00.
I will not under any circumstance make a large purchase with Best Buy again.
I just purchased this house so there is a lot I am replacing and Best Buy just shot themselves in the foot.
The only 2 who were clear on their names were Dakota and Denise.

Chromebook
I purchased a Samsung chromebook at best Buy, new not refurbished, and about three years later I started receiving notices from the computer that it would stop receiving updates, and I consider it theft to sell me a product which stops operating optimally - and may lose critical functionality - after a certain time and not telling me this at the time of purchase..
So there are three companies involved: Google which makes chrome, Samsung, and Best Buy, but Best Buy is the one who sold it to me.
I went to Best Buy and spoke to a store manager and told him that Best Buy should notify a csutomer if a product will only work fully for a limited amount of time. I asked him to imagine a refrigerator or a car which would stop optimal operation and could fail in unknown ways, after three years!
He said this was standard, all stores sold chromebooks knowing they would last fully only a certain time, I told him but I am here in Best Buy and bought it here, i am a long time customer, I expect the salesperson to let me know. He said they couldn't check the update-expiraiton dates of all their chormbooks, so I said of course they could and I showed him how easily one can find them (now I am educated about this, not when I purchased it) and I'm sure their tech people know how, and he pointed to the shelves and said there are too many models to be able to do this, so I said that Best Buy should not sell them if they can't tell customers that they will 'expire'.
I asked if their tech geeks could extend the update time he said they couldn't. I said I could give the store back the one I have which is in excellent condition, and they could give me one which would last more years, he said they can't do that, the could only give me some buy-back for the one I have, obviouly at much less than the cost.
So he said I should write out (by hand) a letter which he would show 'to corporate'. I wrote it right there. However I did not receive any response at all.
So two weeks later I went in again and spoke to another manager, who was rude and completely uncaring of my complaint.

Desired Outcome: Originally I'd have said refund,extend update period,or provide model w/ 3 more years, but due to the time & aggravation, I say compensate me with a better model (and I can't give them the 'expired' one now since I'm not anymore near a best buy)

Tv protection plan
We bought a tv a couple years ago and bought the protection plan. The screen got accidentally damaged about a year after we got it, and we took it in. The person who helped us said we could get it fixed, but he also said we could exchange it with another tv. So we did, and we had to just pay the difference betweenthe price of our old tv and the new one. We bought another protection plan for the new one. The screen on our new tv got accidentally damaged again. We went in and talked to a different employee and he said that they don't have an accidental protection plan for the tv's. I told him that last time we were able to get a new one and just pay the difference, all he had to say was that the employee just gave us an exception. I should of asked this guy why couldn't they give us another exception, but we were to angry. We all feel like we just got screwed over! We cannot afford a new tv right now, and probably for for awhile. This needs this problem to be handled. Delivery and installation
I purchased a stove and a microwave from best buy and for the past month in a half going soon on two months I can not get my items they have rescheduled 5 to 6 times and when you ask to speak to a supervisor it's an issue as well.
My money paid for an item not for me to have to wait and never get a call and taking off from work for the item in vain an no delivery and no curtesy call to say it was cancelled or back order. I would like my items as my money could have been earning interest in my account and I will have to also contact better business bureau about this matter as well

Kitchen Aid range

This appliance has been broken since March, 2022. I have had numerous service visits and phone calls and no resolution. I understand it has been "elevated" to Exchange Support. Every time I call Exchange Support I am told it is being "elevated" to the Manager's department, and that someone will call me. Nobody ever calls me. Today a pleasant young man named Chris assured me he was sending this inquiry along to managers. I really don't believe any of this any more.
In March, electronic messages came across the control panel. The first repairman did not read the manual and did not understand this was a "downdraft" unit. He pulled it away from the wall and yanked out the ventilator to the outside. I paid my contract $325 to reconnect it.
Parts were ordered, parts were installed. The electronic messages continued to state that the device was "miswired" among other codes.
Will somebody please call me back? I'm tired of calling and retelling my sad tale to yet another hapless customer service rep.

P.S. My ordeal with this oven started on the day it was delivered. In spite of having a Geek Squad member come to my house prior to delivery to measure, the unit (1) did not fit in the space allocated; (2) was incompatible to the electric/gas pipe location (Geek Squad guy didn't check); and the delivery guys left the unit in the middle of the kitchen and fled. My contractor had to bring in an electrician and somebody to "shave" the countertop. It took them an entire day to install the range at a cost of $1,200 to me. And now this fiasco. I would like to get this resolved. Thank you.

Geek Squad
Winston with Geek Squad Grove City, OH has to be the absolute rudest employee. He talked very demeaning to us as though we were idiots while trying to obtain service for an iRobot mop under their 2 year service plan. We ended up walking out due to his attitude. I know it’s hard to get employees these days which means crappy service is NEVER addressed. Very disappointed

Geek squad nolton
I called Bestbuy for repair of my new refrigerator making a loud noise. I understand busy times. My appointment was booked for a week out between 12 and 4pm. Nolton calls me approx 8 am to ask what is he coming for. He states they didn't do the ticket correctly. I asked who is they, don't shift blame. You work for the company sir, it should be an apology and WE made a mistake. Anyway when he arrived, he said from outside the door that the problem is the compressor and we don't do compressors, so you need to call samsung. I asked Nolton was he at least gonna come in and check it? He came in my house and tried to sell me some african ciclid fish and a bbq grill. I said sir what about refrigerator. He opened the fridge door and said it was a vamp cover or something else and he needed to order parts because they don't carry parts on the truck. He was on his personal phone arguing with girlfriend/wife in my house. She was more rude than him. He told her he was with a customer, but she was impatient and made him talk. Don't be in my house arguing on personal phone and trying to get me to buy fish or bbq grill.
He proceeded to order parts and left. He sat in front of my house for about 30 min then came back in wanting to look for make and model number of fridge. A few days later the parts came and Nolton returned. He said I needed to call Samsung because if he changed the parts and it was still making noise, then it must be the compressor and only Samsung can fix that. I called the number to samsung from the sticker in the fridge. I thought my appoinment was with Samsung today between 12 and 4 again. I get a call from Nolton at 8am saying he will be out later today. 20 min later, I get another call from Nolton saying he will be here between 12 and 4. I immediately got irate. I told him that he just spoke to me. Are you high or on drugs? Why are you calling again about appt 4 hours from now? Why are you even calling me because I thought samsung was sending someone about compressor?
Desired outcome: Refrigerator either repaired or replaced! I had it six months. If I am having this many problems already, I don't want Nolton any where around my house. I don't need any african ciclid fish or a bbq grill.

called 7/20 checking on the order. customer service was no help (2 attempts), as they would not transfer me to a supervisor (not allowed to transfer calls) or cancel the order (been more than 30 minutes). the site showed stock available when I placed the order.
I requested a ship or cancel. best buy would not do neither. last time I ever buy from best buy, and will be returning monitor if they ever ship it.

Warranty
Basically my TV broke 3 days before the MFG warranty was to expire. By the time they returned my call to file a claim, it was sent to the store manager and he decided that he was going with the Manufactured Date instead of the purchase date. So basically it shortened the warranty by 1Month. I contacted Customer Care at Bestbuy and Susan agreed that this is not right. She gave me a claim number that now means nothing to them. Go figure!. Stay away from this Company. Now all they do is hang up on you for inquiring about the situation. Somehow they should rename their department from Customer Care to "Sorry We Can't Help You". There goes $1200 down the toilet.
Desired outcome: Give Consumers what they "PAYED' For. In today's world that is too much money to just throw around. I can see why they only get 1 and a 1/2 stars on the BBB site.
Washer Dryer Tower
I purchased Washer Dryer Tower from Best Buy on Lake Forest in Irvine CA on 6/22/2022.
The salesman recommended that I buy two kits, one for the washer and one for the dryer, he said if I don't need it, I can return for credits.
The 3rd party delivery came to deliver on June 25th. The delivery guy told me that the vent I have is flexible, he had me talk to his supervisor who told me and its BB's policy that he needs to replace the vent, however, he could not replace the vent because my original vent is tucked under the water heater stand.
He refused to install my dryer and he took the new vent with him that I paid for.
I tried calling him on the number he had called to let me know he is on the way, with no answer and I called the supervisor back as well with no response.
I called a license Plummer who had installed the water heater in February 2021 and asked if I need to change the vent. He said the type of vent does not matter as long as the vent is in good condition, however, he was booked and could not come over to install the dryer.
I called a handyman who charged me $200.00 with the vent I had since its in good condition, he cleaned the vent as well, installation on the washer dryer was included with the purchase.
I emailed BB on 6/27, called on June 28th and July 1st with no response.
I need credit for the vent that I am charged with and get a refund for the handyman's cost.
I didn't sign for the delivery so I don't know the name of the delivery company. He didn't have me sign anything, they plugged in the washer and left.
Desired outcome: Please refund for the handyman's cost and the vent that I paid for and the delivery guy took with him.

I was given a window between 2:00 and 6:00 for delivery of an 85 pound exercise bicycle. The package was put one story below my house in the driveway 2 hours and 21 minutes before 2:00 and I was notified by email that the driver was coming one minute after he had driven away. His dispatcher said he called, but that was a lie because my phone showed no recent calls. Best Buy said over the phone that the delivery would be completed the next morning but no one called or arrived the next day.
Best Buy Offers free delivery inside the home to whatever spot desired. Leaving an 85 pound package far away from even the front stoop for an 80 year old customer is unconscionable.
Your "Geek Squad" is full of s**t!
I had tried to sell/trade for cash a laptop to your "Best Buy" store and I previously called and asked online to the agents. They said the store "would buy my laptop, because it buys anything!". I insisted to let them check my item by model online and on the phone so I would not waste my time to go there! But they still insisted that I should go because they WOULD BUY it. After showing up at the store and wait about half hour, the silly dude in blue uniform tells me "that Best Buy does NOT BUY my kind of laptop because of the model!". They just made me waste 30 damn minutes to just tell me that! Best Buy has NO RESPECT for it's customers. DONT BUY AT BEST( worst) BUY!
Bought 2 hard disks from them and never received but passed through hell from them
I bought 2 hard disk from BestBuy Albuquerque received an alert that it was delivered and called BestBuy that it was not delivered and offered to provide security camera recording of my Neighbor that showed that UPS van never came to my place that day and that my enquiry with UPS after a couple of visits showed that it was delivered at a wrong address to be specific 809 of my street number and not 708 that is my address that I should request that BestBuy to file a claim with them as UPS will not do anything if BestBuy does not file any claim. BestBuy manager at the Albuquerque shop made it clear she wouldn't file a claim and that their responsibility ends when the app says delivered, whether in the right place or not in fact I was treated more with disdain and suspicion. All efforts to make them make a claim fell into deaf ears and was treated like a nuisance out of so much effort she now said she would do it somewhere and later said she couldn't. I spent 2 whole days shuttling between BestBuy and UPS office a distance of about 8 miles because I needed the hard disks.
I called BestBuy's credit card and was advised to use their card to buy another set on Amazon that they will mark the order as a disputed order while they investigate. They refused to reverse the order rather charged me for a fresh order their customer care person said she cannot do anything about it later when I checked my balance they never stopped the payment.
I got in touch with BestBuy's customer care about it and they reaffirmed their shop position too. And concluded That I should request the service of law enforcement that BestBuy cannot provide a refund.
On Saturday 18th of may 2022 a guy pressed on my bell and said a package has been lying on his pouch for over 2 weeks and when he checked the address he decided to bring it over he lives at 808 of the same street not 809 that UPS claimed they left it.
Best buy is the last place to shop online as they will never give any serious attention if anything goes wrong even if you have proof they will say that they don't want to see the proof.

BREE walked over and asked what I needed, I said sit down & we can go over it. Asked for my Phone number, I have geek squad contract $200.00, which already taken out of my account. I explained 1-2 years ago, I had best buy install TV, and speakers.
I will have new carpet installed next week. I would like to have geek squad disconnect, then connect. I like to add, she has no customer service about her,
proceeded to tell me what All services are covered when I buy there and have installed. I said, I didn't buy anything there, it has nothing to do with me, I only purchased the geek squad contract through one of your managers. she didn't hear what I said and repeated it again. Had this look on her face she didn't want to be there. And was going to charge $ 199.00 for each service. I said no.

Two week return policy
I purchased a nighthawk router for my home. Due to my Internet service provider not allowing me to use it after three weeks, I returned it to the store. I still had the original receipt, I had the original box and all the papers with it. When I came back in they offered me a store credit which I then used to pick up a different router. The store sales person said that it should work even with my ISP. After I came home I hooked it all up, contacted my ISP, advised them all about it and it started. After a day and a half it never fully connected. I then came back to the store to return the new router that was less than a week old. After I got there I was advised that once again I would have to use a store credit because it stems back to the original sale.
Desired outcome: I want the store credit rescinded and I want the money put back on my credit card.
On line orders takes so long
I ordered online a ring door camera last week and I received an email that it will be arriving in three weeks unbelievable almost a month. the truth is that is the last time I buy online t bust buy. Even not so good in customer services
Samsung notebook best buy webroot
I purchased a samsung notebook with windows 10 set up by your techs in-house. I made sure to explain to them that the reason for the purchase was all other devices-I repeat all other devices that I had were hacked, I asked what I should do is there a program or someway to stop the identity theft and the theft of my data (and bit-coin brokered out that husband left to me. That I had gone through-14 phones-3 laptops and my moms desktop had been wiped out by the same super hacker that I needed to ensure the most resistence possible to stop the hacking. The tech said all I would needed is webroot. I said are u sure? This guy is mean and hateful and has disconnected me from communicating with my son oversees. Explaining to them I did not want any android apps that I preferred samsung apps or microsoft only. I was very excited to be able to purchase this notebook. I needed to communicate with family during co-vid, I also paid the promo code of $180 at the time of the purchase and added the warranty for tech support, you stated it is all inclusive and 3 devices would be covered, I bought the microsoft 365,.. Home turn it on new email, new phone no one has it - I write a letter to send to my sister in the office 365 go email it - does not allow as I am part of a network! I was hacked already, could not wirelessly change the network settings because now I am not the administrator or owner. I bring it in to be repaired-exchange whatever it takes - this happened the whole warranty period I never in the year was able to use the laptop for any communication. I had to bring it in over 6 times, (2 weeks later I purchased a a7 tablet I was charged an additionl 70 dollars for the tablet warranty) I brought my old lenova, the samsung a7 and this notebook. Now I bring home the lenova - dead, nothing blank screen no power nothing-the samsung tablet is okay. Samsung notebook again - new email etc... Absolutely terrible - no pen on purchase they acted ie it was part of the original purchase - no - I never was able to use this with the web365 office
Desired outcome: I want Best Buy to stop adding interest on my account stating I never paid the promotion I have the receipt. Fix my lenova that hasn't worked since I brought it home from being "fixed"I have no clue as to what to do about the notebook
Laptop delivery
I bought a laptop and an antivirus program from the Best Buy store located on Bird Road and 78th St. in Miami, FL on March 21st 2022. I checked that they updated my delivery address. Unfortunately, the sales person did only updated the delivery address in their system on the antivirus item -which I was actually taking with me at the time- but not on the laptop that was going to be delivered a few days later.
Therefore, when UPS tried to deliver the laptop, they were not able to because Best Buy gave them the old address. UPS called me and let me know about the situation. Although in the same city, their policies did not allow UPS to deliver the item despite that they were in contact with me, and UPS had to return the laptop to Best Buy to be shipped with a new label with the correct address.
It has been more than 10 days and I still have not received my laptop. I have contacted Best Buy customer services many times, spending lots of time on the phone waiting, nobody has information and nobody is able to provide me with a tracking number
I decided to go to the store where I made the purchase, cancel and get my money back, but they say they can't do anything because the item shows as returned to sender. The store manager (ROJAS) was rude, challenging, unpleasant and very unhelpful. He kept saying that he was not able to do anything at all and the only thing to do was to continue calling customer service to find the laptop, a tracking number or to cancel.
After visiting the store I called customer services AGAIN. Explained the situation and complained about Mr. Rojas attitude. The customer service response was the same as has been before. They were not able to give a tracking number or even to know for sure if the item was shipped again because their system was only showing that the item status was "preparing".
Best Buy's customer services completely sucks.
Desired outcome: Refund the total amount of the purchase.
