Mixed Experiences with Betabrand
As someone deeply invested in comfortable yet stylish clothing, I understand the allure of Betabrand. However, the reviews paint a mixed picture. While some customers rave about the comfort and style of their products, others express frustration with slow shipping, inconsistent sizing, and poor customer service. It's clear that Betabrand has room for improvement in ensuring product quality consistency and timely deliveries. If you value comfort and are willing to be patient, Betabrand might still be worth a try.
Betabrand: damn fine
Betabrand: damn fine. I bought a reversible disco hoodie from this store, import US-UK, and I regard this purchase as one of my lifetime greatest achievements, up there amongst learning to tie my shoes, and boiling my first egg. The customer service [I had a query about discounts] was fast and helpful. The website has a refreshing touch including crowdfunding to raise funding for concept clothing. This website is brilliant. Everyone should wear more shiny things.
BetaBrand - Fantastically comfortable clothing. I am a very happily satisfied customer!
I have worn BetaBrand clothing for many years and I love them for the wonderful fit, thoughtful design elements (such as the numerous pockets cleverly built into the seams). They are constantly releasing (dropping) new designs and wonderful color and unique pattern designs. They have excellent customer service and resolve any issues quickly and pleasantly. The majority of my wardrobe is comprised of comfortable, stylish, BetaBrand items. I highly recommend their clothing items.

Classic dress yoga pants in bootleg and straight leg
If anyone out there reads this and is wondering about these - get them! Get them! Get them!
I just got mine in the mail not even after 5 days ordered and these are by far the best pants I have worn.
I am using them for work and I am 6ft and I got the Large long and they are LONG and the most perfect fit.
I am so excited! Best purchase of the decade! (Last decade included, since we are only 6 months in the new one haha)
If I could give a 50 star rating I would
Thanks
Most happiest customer and I just re ordered another 2
Excellent buy, was sceptical, but worth the chance
I promised myself never to buy clothing online again. The only reason I took a chance, was my sister bought a pair of the yoga pants, and they looked fantastic, and were true to size. So I took a chance too. Wasn't sorry. So comfortable, well made and perfect fit. I am an Australian sz10 an these pants were true to size. Perfect. I cant fault them. Read some reviews, and dont understand the negativity? I got mine in 5 days. Sorry about bad photos, I'm not good at that, but you will get the idea. I bought gingham and dotty dots.
Would 100% recommend, and would purchase again :)

On sale price was great... $38?
Could have been more, but at 65 my memory isn't what it used to be.
I'm Very happy with them.

3x Long, black, boot cut.
Very stretchy, thick winter weight fabric.
5 belt loops and front button.
I wear them only a couple times a month when I want to look "polished" for an appointment in town.
Definitely my choice for vacation "wear on flight" apparel including up-coming 2/22 trip back to visit Anchorage, (which I left in 1995).
With undetectable Cuddle Duds underneath, I should survive the cold weather during outdoors Fur Rondevous celebrations
The sassiest pants. smells like pungent petroleum but replaced quickly
I just received the sassiest pants after waiting 3 months and so excited. They run a little big. The fabric is much thicker than expected but really cute. The problem is that they SMELL like very pungent petroleum. I washed them twice so far and can't get rid of the smell. I can smell them all the way down the hall when the are hanging to dry in the laundry room. I have never experienced anything like this. I emailed Betabrand's and had three different agents respond and had a new pair in a week. I can't really complain about that. I washed the original pair about 10 times trying to get the smell out and the have held up well. Look the same as just softer!
Beta brand yoga pant work pants skinny leg
I am 5'8 125 lbs(depending on the day) slim and tall. I ordered 2 pairs of the small long skinny leg classic dress/yoga pants in Navy and creme. The cream color pair was way to stretched out along the waist and didn't fit very well while the Navy was a good fit. The initial fit was not skin tight and had a little bit of loose areas along the leg. After washing the Navy pair I hung them to dry then stuck them in the dryer for a little bit to see if they could shrink a tad and fit better. After drying them, the length was still perfect for my tall figure and the fit is a little more snug which I like. I am exchanging the creme in hopes of getting a better fit. Overall I'm very satisfied with the fit and love the fabric. Will reorder.
Best Pants Ever!
Ignore all the bad reviews about getting the wrong size and expensive no return items. You can return items for a different size but just not for your $ back, but I would argue, who would want their $ back? Get the right size!
I bought my first pair of pants and the minute I tried them on, I turned around and bought 2 more pants the same day. I have no bought 7 pairs and they are the best pants ever!
Because of the stretch ability they offer, they are very economical and can span 3 sizes. Meaning if I gain 10 pounds they still fit and if I lose 10 pounds they still fit. They wear well and are so comfortable.
I reached out to customer support because I by accident bought the regular size instead of petite and they reached back immediately to try to rectify my mistake. However, it was too late as they had already shipped. I love these pants so much that rather than send them back and wait for a return of the correct size, I spent $10 to just get them hemmed. Seriously, you can't argue with how comfortable these pants are. You are missing out if you listen to the bad reviews, you really are!
Disappointed at pre-order process
There is never any correspondence to let the customer know that the shipment is delayed another month. However, payment was processed at time order was placed. When reaching out to customer service, I am told that there is nothing that i can do and that the order cannot be cancelled. I am stuck waiting for a shipment that may or may not arrive. Also, reward points are not awarded. This company is beyond disappointing.
Recommendation: Do no order!
Betabrand Review: Disappointing Experience with Pre-Orders and Lack of Transparency
I've been meaning to try out Betabrand for a while now, and finally got around to it. I picked out what I wanted, but to my dismay, found that they were out of stock in nearly all sizes. I commented on this, and someone who I assume works there suggested a different but similar style that hadn't appeared in the correct category - great. I decided to get two pairs, but when I went to checkout, it said they were pre-order and wouldn't be available for a couple of months. Would have been nice to know this before I wasted time trying to figure out which size to get. Don't understand why it wouldn't say this on the item before you put it in your cart - maybe because it's less likely people will order? I know I don't want stuff randomly showing up in my driveway months from now when I don't know if I'll be around. Sure this year probably will be, but still.
Then, I noticed it said pre-orders are charged at the time of order, rather than when they are actually shipped, which I think is pretty bogus. Most companies don't do that. (I suppose I could wait until they're actually in stock and there are even some reviews, but I'm just guessing my new choice will be out of stock by then as well.) I searched for the brand and started seeing many not so good reviews. Feeling like I dodged a bullet.
Overall, I'm a bit disappointed with my experience with Betabrand. While the customer service was helpful in suggesting a similar style, the lack of transparency about pre-orders and charging upfront is frustrating. I also wish they would update their website to reflect when items are out of stock or on pre-order. It would save customers a lot of time and hassle. Despite this, I'm still willing to give Betabrand a chance and see how the products turn out when they finally arrive.
Disappointing Pre-Order Experience: Dress Pant Yoga Pant Review
I ordered a pair of the dress pant yoga pant back in April, and I'm still waiting for it. It was a pre-order item, and they said it would ship in July, so I was like, "okay, cool." But during this time, I got two marketing emails saying my item is "back in stock." I ignored the first one in May, but when I got the second one on July 18, I was like, "what's going on?" So, I contacted customer service, and they said they were "waiting for inventory," but I got two emails saying the item is back in stock. I got a response the same day, saying it would ship in July, and two days later, on July 20, I got an email saying it had shipped. But it's now July 30, and I still don't have the pants. The tracking shows the shipper got the electronic info on July 25. Why would they send a notice saying something shipped five days before they actually ship? That's just messed up. They set expectations for one thing and severely underperform. They said I'll get the pants on August 1, but it's insane to wait four months for a pair of pants. I don't care if these end up being the best darn pants I've ever worn. I'm never buying from this company again. I wish I had researched reviews before making this purchase.
Mixed Feelings About Betabrand: Positive Customer Service, Frustrating Shipping Practices
I recently made a purchase from Betabrand, an online clothing store, and I have mixed feelings about my experience. On April 24, I ordered three pairs of pants, one of which was a pre-order item. The estimated delivery date for the first two pairs was May 5, and I received one pair on that date. However, it's now May 28, and I still haven't received the second pair. According to DHL, the package hasn't even been received from Betabrand yet.
Despite this frustration, I did have a positive experience with customer service. I contacted Passport, their shipping coordinator, and they arranged a refund for the missing pants. I received the full price of the pants back in my bank account, and they also offered me a 30% discount on a new order. I decided to take advantage of the discount and reorder the pants.
On May 19, I placed a second order for a sweater and two more pairs of pants. I received the sweater on May 27, and I absolutely love it. However, the other two pairs of pants are still processing, and tracking hasn't even begun yet. The estimated delivery date for the entire order is May 28-June 1, but Betabrand is blaming Covid19-related delays with DHL for the delay, even though the package hasn't even been received by DHL yet. I've reached out to Passport and Betabrand directly, but so far, I've only received form responses.
Overall, I have mixed feelings about my experience with Betabrand. While I appreciate the positive customer service experience, I'm not satisfied with their shipping practices. It's not okay to promise a delivery date and not deliver on that promise. I hope that they can improve their shipping processes in the future to avoid frustrating experiences like this one.
Disappointing Experience with Betabrand: Delayed Shipping and Poor Customer Service
I gotta say, my first experience with Betabrand was pretty smooth. I ordered a pair of jeans and they arrived in no time, no issues at all. But then they sent me an offer for a pre-sale on a new style of jeans and I couldn't resist. I placed my order in February 2020 at a special price and was told they would ship in early April. I was cool with that, no problem. But then in March, I got an email saying they needed a couple more weeks. Okay, fine.
Fast forward to May 21 and I finally get an email saying my jeans have shipped! But when I checked the tracking number a week later, it showed that DHL still hadn't received the package. Now, I'm in Oregon and Betabrand is in California, so it should have only taken a couple of days to ship. I reached out to customer service and they kept telling me to be patient, that the package had shipped. But I could clearly see that DHL didn't have it yet.
So I asked them to just cancel the order and refund me. I asked twice on different days, but the customer service rep kept insisting that she couldn't do that because the package was already en route and that I needed to patiently wait.
Finally, on June 4, DHL notified me that they had received the package... and that it was at customs. What?! Turns out my made-in-San-Francisco jeans were actually being made out of the country, which is why they weren't given to DHL right away. I had to wait 3 and a half months for my jeans and the customer service was just terrible.
I still haven't received my jeans and won't for another couple of weeks because they're being held up in customs. I'm sorry, but that's just not acceptable. Betabrand has definitely lost me as a customer.
Betabrand Pants Review: Finally, Pants That Fit My Tall Frame!
So, I was really skeptical at first, but now I'm a believer! I'm a tall guy, standing at over 6 feet (that's 185cm for those of you who use the metric system), and it's always been a struggle for me to find pants that are both comfortable and fit well. But then I stumbled upon Betabrand and saw that they offered pants with a long 34" inseam. I read a few reviews and decided to take the plunge and order two pairs of pants.
To be honest, I was fully expecting it to take weeks for my order to arrive, but I was pleasantly surprised when the first pair of pants showed up in just a few days. I ordered on July 16th and my blue pants arrived on July 23rd! However, I was a bit suspicious when the other pair didn't show up with them. One of the reviews I read mentioned that they only received part of their order, so I decided to email Betabrand to inquire about the missing pants. To my surprise, they replied the same day and let me know that the gingham pants would be arriving on August 7th. So, all in all, it took less than a month from ordering to completion.
I bought these pants to wear around the house or when I need to run errands with the kids. They're a step up from my usual activewear, but I personally wouldn't wear them to work because they're basically thick yoga pants. They're perfect for winter, though, and they're definitely more stylish than regular sweatpants. However, if you have thunder thighs like me, they might be a bit too body-hugging for the office unless you have fantastic legs.
I have to admit, I haven't put these pants through the washing machine yet because I'm worried they might shrink. I'll update this review once I've built up the courage to wash them.
Overall, I'd give these pants a solid 8 out of 10. They're exactly what I was expecting and I've been wanting pants like this for ages. They're as comfortable as leggings or track pants, but they look a bit more put-together. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I think they're a bit pricey for what they are - essentially dressy leggings. But if you're willing to pay a bit more for comfort and style, then these pants are definitely worth it.
Betabrand Pants Review: Finally Finding Pants That Fit and Feel Good!
I'm not the tallest person around (5'5") and I've got some curves (195) that I've never really been a fan of. It's always been a struggle to find pants that fit me just right and make me feel confident. When I do find a pair that works, I tend to stock up and avoid shopping for as long as possible (usually every couple of years). Trying on clothes in a store is not my idea of a good time, so I prefer to order a bunch of things online and try them on at home.
Last year, my job went fully remote, which was great for my wardrobe since I love wearing leggings and sweatpants. But then I got promoted and now I have to meet with clients and actually leave my house. I tried going shopping for some more professional clothes, but it was a disaster. I tried on so many pairs of pants in so many sizes and nothing seemed to fit right. I was getting more and more frustrated and decided to just go home before I lost my cool.
That's when I remembered seeing ads for Betabrand on social media. I figured I had nothing to lose, so I ordered a pair of boot cut denim pants and a pair of basic black boot leg pants. When they arrived today, I was fully prepared to try them on, hate them, and send them back. But to my surprise, they actually fit really well and looked good on me. And they were comfortable too! The fabric is thick and feels like really good quality, so I don't have to worry about any embarrassing panty lines.
I'm actually excited to wear these pants out in public now. It's been a while since I've felt this good about my clothes. Thank you, Betabrand!
Disappointing Experience with Betabrand: Long Wait, Poor Customer Service, and Overpriced Pants
I ordered two pairs of pants from Betabrand and was excited to receive them. However, it took four long months for my order to arrive. When I finally got my hands on the pants, I was disappointed to find that the leggings were too long for me. I reached out to Betabrand via email to ask what to do if the size I wanted to exchange was out of stock. The customer service representative advised me to return my order and receive store credits.
Participating in their crowdfunding projects can get you a discount of around 10%. I got each pair for about $47, but after the release, the price went up to $78. Betabrand offers an additional 10% bonus when you choose to exchange your returns for store credits. However, I found that this was not worth it as I would still have to pay an extra $20 with a 20% discount code for the same style of pants but just a different size.
After I sent my returns, I realized that the size I wanted had become available. I emailed Betabrand again, asking them to change my exchange method to the size I wanted. However, they refused, saying that once I had chosen a method, it could not be changed. They did not offer any other alternatives. I was frustrated and replied back, using profanity. The customer service representative did not appreciate my language and issued me a refund.
While I was happy to receive my refund, I was disappointed with the overall experience. I will not be dealing with Betabrand again and cannot recommend them to others. While their pants are nice and comfortable, they are not worth $78. Perhaps they are worth $60, but the four-month wait was not worth it.
Betabrand Review: Great Pants, Terrible Customer Service & Returns
I was so stoked when I found out about Betabrand, I couldn't wait to try out their pants. I was willing to spend the extra dough to be comfy all day at work. The first time I ordered, I got my pants with no problem. I loved the fit and they were seriously comfortable pants. But then I made the mistake of washing AND drying them and they SHRUNK so bad that I can't even wear them anymore because of how stupid they look now. I figured that was my bad, so I decided to give them another try a few years later. I ordered two pairs of pants (grey and black, size small, length short). As soon as I clicked "place order" I got a confirmation email WITH THE WRONG ORDER. (wrong size, wrong COLOR, wrong LENGTH) I contacted Betabrand RIGHT AWAY via their customer service email (because it was after hours) letting them know that they sent me the wrong stuff and I wanted it fixed. But I didn't get any response. When I got the shipment, it wasn't what I ordered. I went to the website to put my order number in so I could get a "return slip" and it said that my order number couldn't be found because it was placed too long ago (even though it was only 2 WEEKS since I got it). I finally figured out how to ship them back... and did so before Christmas time. I know Christmas is a crazy time for online orders so I waited patiently to get an email that they got my return request. But I never got anything. Finally, after a month and a half, I contacted them and they told me that Black Friday and the holidays had really backed up their system (even though it was the end of January). I FINALLY got my refund today which I'm happy about... but if I hadn't contacted them, they would've just kept my money?!?!? That's so fishy to me and I'm never ordering from here again. It's too bad because it's a great concept but their customer service is NON-EXISTENT! VERY DISAPPOINTING!
Betabrand Review: Scammers, Liars, and Thieves - Do Not Recommend!
I recently made a purchase from Betabrand on 11/22/21. I was excited to see that they were offering a 30% discount due to Black Friday deals, which brought my total to $52. I ordered a pair of pants for a temporary holiday job and expected to receive them by the first week of December. However, mid-December came and went, and I still had not received my order. I decided to reach out to customer service via email, and what happened next was not good business practice.
Ben, the customer service representative, assured me that my order was on its way, but due to the holidays and COVID-19, shipping was slow. He also mentioned that the pants were coming from Australia, which is quite far from the United States. Christmas passed, and I still had not received my order. I tried to track the shipping, but Ben said that it was being passed to my carrier, and it wasn't updated. He told me not to worry and that the pants were on their way.
As New Year's Eve approached, my patience was wearing thin. Ben offered me two options: a full refund and a 25% discount to order when they aren't busy or a 50% discount refunded immediately while I wait for them to arrive. I chose option 2, but when Ben refunded me, he only gave me $11. He said something about the math being shady and explained that he was giving me 50% off the original 30% that I didn't pay due to the Black Friday sale. I was confused and frustrated because that didn't make sense to me. It certainly didn't equal half off my original $52 purchase.
Now it's January 10, 2022, and I'm fed up. I still can't track my order, and I don't know when it's coming. They jipped me on the half off $52 that I paid, and Ben never responded to my questions about the $26 I was supposed to receive. Instead, he only refunded me $11. I decided to ask for a full refund, and Ben agreed to it. However, he only refunded me $28, which is far less than the $52 I paid. I'm still missing about $12, and Ben is suspiciously silent on the matter.
This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. I paid $52, and they only refunded me $39. It's clear that they're scamming people, and I'm not the only one. If they kept my $12, that means they're keeping other people's money too. I will be calling my bank to dispute the charges, and if I ever receive those pants, I won't be returning to Betabrand. I cannot recommend this company to anyone. They are liars, thieves, and scammers.
Betabrand Review: Comfy Clothes with Sizing and Order Issues
These clothes are so comfy, easy to clean, and they make me look good. But, let me tell you, there are some problems with Betabrand that you need to know about before you spend your hard-earned cash. First off, the sizing is all over the place. I got a couple of things in large that fit me great, so I thought I had it figured out. But then I got a top that was so big I could have fit two of me in it, and a blazer that was so small I couldn't even move my arms. And don't even get me started on the pants. I ordered the same style twice and one pair was snug as a bug and the other was practically falling off me.
Now, normally this wouldn't be a huge deal. I'd just return the item and get a different size, right? Wrong. Sometimes it takes so long to get your order that by the time you finally receive it, the size you need is sold out. And if you bought something on sale, forget about it. No returns allowed. Plus, the order-fulfillment times are all over the place. Sometimes you get your stuff in a few weeks, sometimes it takes months, and sometimes you never get it at all. And when you try to contact customer service, good luck. They take forever to respond and when they do, they just offer you a discount to keep waiting or a refund.
I get it, sometimes things are on backorder or whatever. But Betabrand needs to be more upfront about it. They should tell you on the product page if something is out of stock or on backorder. And if they can't fulfill your order, they should let you know and give you a refund. It's not that hard, people.
Now, I do have a couple of pieces from Betabrand that I love and wear all the time. But the sizing issues and order delays have happened so often that I don't think I'll be ordering from them again. It's just not worth the hassle.
Betabrand Complaints 14
I have purchased from betabrand twice
My first jeans order was fast and easy. Nice product, no issues. Then they sent me a pre-sale offer... so I purchase a new style of jeans on February 2020 at a special price. The jeans were supposed ship the start of April. In March I received an email stating they would need a couple more weeks. That was fine. Finally I receive an email MAY 21 that the jeans had shipped! A week later the tracking number showed that DHL still had not received the package. (Betabrand is in CA & I am in OR so normally only be a couple days ship time) So I contact customer service. I was told in repeated emails to be patient the package had shipped, but still I could see by the tracking # that DHL didn't yet have the package. So I requested at that point that she just cancel the order and refund me. I asked this two different days and the customer service rep. Each time insisted that she couldn't do that because the package was already enroute and that I needed to patiently wait.
Today DHL notifies me that the package was received by them (yesterday June 4) and that it was at customs! So my made in San Francisco, USA jeans were actually being made out of the country and that is why they weren't given to DHL. 3-1/2 MONTHS of waiting to get jeans and horrible customer service is not acceptable. I STILL have not received the jeans and won't for another couple weeks due to being held up in customs. Betabrand has definitely lost me as a customer.
Scamming. Thievery. Liars
I ordered one pair on 11/22/21. They were 30% off due to Black Friday deals so my total was $52. Ordered for a temporary holiday job so I expected to have them by first week of December. Mid December comes so I start my email and what happens next is bad business practices. Ben assured me they were on the way but due to covid and the holidays and them being in Australia (I'm American) that shipping was slow. Christmas passes and not only are they still not here, but I can't track the shipping bc Ben said it was being passed to my carrier and it wasn't updated but "not to worry they are on the way. New Years Eve & my patience is wearing thin. Ben offers me 2 options. 1. Is a full refund & & a 25% discount to order when they aren't busy. 2. Is a 50% discount refunded immediately while I wait for them to arrive. I choose option 2 but he only refunds me $11! He says something shady af about the math, and explains he was giving me 50% off the original 30% that I didn't pay due to the Black Friday sale. UMMM WHAT!?! That's the dumbest thing I ever heard of & it sure as [censored] don't equal 1/2 off my original $52 purchase. It's now January 10,2022 and I'm fed up. I can't track these invisible pants I ordered, don't know when they're coming, they jipped me on the 1/2 off $52 I paid, and Ben NEVER responded to me questioning the $26 I was supposed to receive & instead got $11. So I ask for a full refund. Keep in mind I paid $52 & he only refunded $11 so far. Ben says yes I'll get a full refund and proceeds to refund me a mere $28! That's $39 refunded when I paid $52! Now Ben is suspiciously silent on my remainder which is about $12. See, this is how they are scamming people. I asked for a full refund and was given partial & I was very persistent. If they kept my $12 then that means they're keeping other peoples money, and probably amassing lots of money with this shady a*** business practice. I WILL be calling my bank and if I ever get those pants they damn sure won't be making a return trip home! Do not trust. Do not buy. They are liars, thieves, and scammers!
Not receiving order
I placed an order in early May of 2023. It is now the beginning of September and I have not received my order. I have been in contact via email with customer service and have been told many things, the one they repeat is that there is an issue in their warehouse. They have offered to refund me. I declined because I do really like their pants. I just want the pants I ordered. What is frustrating, is they continue to send marketing emails - to get more business. They should be focusing on getting their products to the customers who have placed orders instead of trying to add more orders to the queue.
Desired outcome: To receive the order I placed.

Awful shipping and customer service
I used to order all of my work slacks from Betabrand and I loved them! However it’s been a few years, and given my recent experience, I will not be ordering from them again. I ordered a basic pair of black slacks at the start of April to wear to job interviews, because I have none that fit. It’s now almost July, I have gotten a job, and I’m getting ready to relocate for it — yet I still have no pants (and yes, I WAS charged for them)! I’ve emailed customer service several times, but they always just give me a new shipping timeframe to expect, which is never accurate. At this point, it’s seeming like I spent money I didn’t have on pants that are going to arrive after I need them, to an old address! Also, I get constant marketing emails from them, which is absurd since they obviously can’t even fulfill existing orders. I will never order from them again and I think I’m going to cancel my order and find pants elsewhere. They lost a long-term customer with this.
Desired outcome: I want either my pants in the next two weeks, or I want a FULL refund. Either way, they lost a customer.
Betabrand Review: Nice Pants, Terrible Shipping and Customer Service
The pants that I ordered from Betabrand are pretty nice. I only knew about them because a co-worker had a pair and I thought they looked good. However, the wait time for my order was ridiculous. I'm still waiting for them to arrive! The tracking information shows a tracking number that was supposed to be delivered days ago, but it still says USPS is awaiting shipment. I emailed customer service, but it took them two whole days to respond. That's not what their website suggests, which says they'll respond in two hours. When they finally did respond, they told me to wait another 10 days after receiving a shipping notice and then contact them again if I still haven't received my order. Really? They're still using Covid delays as an excuse? It's been a week and my order still says "awaiting shipment." So if you decide to order from Betabrand, just know that if they have the product in stock, you'll probably wait at least a month before receiving it, IF you receive it at all! In my opinion, these people are a sham.
Slow Shipping and Poor Customer Service: My Betabrand Review
I've been buying pants from Betabrand for a while now, but I don't think I'll be buying from them again. The shipping is so slow, it's like watching paint dry. Even if they have the item in stock, it can take up to 2-3 weeks to get to you. And don't even get me started on their customer service. They act like they don't care about you at all. I've called them before and felt like I was bothering them. It's like they only care about their flashy marketing and not about actually getting the product to you.
It's also kind of sketchy how they do their preorders. You pay upfront and then you might have to wait months for your item to arrive. It feels like they're using your money as a loan to keep their business going. It's not fair to the customers who just want to get their hands on the product they paid for.
But I will say, the pants I have received are pretty nice. It's just not worth the hassle to actually get them. I wish Betabrand would focus more on improving their shipping and customer service instead of just their marketing. It would make a big difference for their customers.
Disappointed with Betabrand's Customer Service: A Review and Search for Alternatives
I emailed Betabrand to get an update on my order, but the customer service rep told me that since my order had already left the warehouse, there was nothing they could do. They couldn't offer me a refund or replace the order. The rep suggested that I wait another 10 days and contact them again if the order had not arrived. She also recommended that I reorder my entire order and get a refund once both orders arrived. However, I wasn't willing to give them any more money.
So, I guess I'll have to wait a few more weeks and see if my order arrives. If it doesn't, I'll have to call my credit card company and see if they can do anything about it. It's frustrating that Betabrand couldn't offer me any solutions, but I understand that once an order has left the warehouse, it's out of their hands.
In the meantime, I've been looking for alternatives to Betabrand that might be more reliable. I've found a few options that I'm excited to try out, including M. M. LaFleur's Foster Pant, Summersalt's Everywhere Legging Pant, Marycrafts' Stretch Yoga Pants for Work, SPANX's Perfect Back Seam Skinny Pants, Yogipace's Straight Leg Dressy Yoga Pants, and Liverpool Jeans Company's Kelsey Ponte Knit Trousers.
Overall, I'm disappointed with my experience with Betabrand, but I'm hopeful that I'll find a better option for my clothing needs.
Comfy Work Pants with Slow Shipping and Poor Customer Service: My Betabrand Review
I've been rockin' Betabrand pants for years now, and let me tell ya, they're pretty darn good. I got about 5 pairs of 'em in different styles, and they all look like work pants but feel like pajamas. The only thing is, they're a bit pricey for the quality. But hey, comfort is king, am I right?
Now, let's talk about shipping. It takes FOREVER. Like, 8-12 weeks kinda forever. But I keep comin' back 'cause I like the product. That is, until my last purchase. They sent me the wrong color! So I sent 'em an email with my order number, but no response. I even sent another email to the two emails I could find, but still no response. After about a week, I decided to tweet at 'em. And wouldn't ya know it, they responded within minutes sayin' they'd get back to me by email. But guess what? No response again. So I sent a few more emails and tweets, and finally said I'd dispute the charge if I didn't get a refund that same week. And you know what? I got my refund the next day. No contact from them, just the refund. But hey, at least I got my money back.
Overall, I'm happy with my Betabrand pants, but the customer service could use some work. And the shipping time? Well, let's just say you better order 'em well in advance if you need 'em for a specific occasion. But hey, if you're lookin' for some comfy work pants, Betabrand's got ya covered.
Disappointing Experience with Betabrand: Lost Orders, Wrong Style, and Dirty Clothes
So, I gotta say, I was pretty excited to order from Betabrand. I mean, have you seen their designs? They're so cool! I ended up getting two pairs of pants and a top, and I swear, I could have bought the whole store. But man, was I disappointed with the whole experience.
First off, I never got an email confirmation of my order. Like, what's up with that? And then, my order just sat in "processing" status for two whole weeks. I tried emailing them to ask about it, but I never got a response. I did some digging online and apparently this is pretty normal for them. Not cool, Betabrand.
I was getting pretty ticked off at this point, so I sent them a message on Facebook. Finally, I got a response. They told me that their system had lost a bunch of orders, but they found mine and would send it overnight, free of charge. Okay, I guess that's something.
When I finally got my order, I was pretty disappointed. Everything runs one size too small, which is annoying but not a huge deal. But then, they sent me the wrong style for one of my pants. And to top it all off, the top was dirty! Like, seriously dirty. It looked like someone had eaten oatmeal and drooled it all over the front of it. Gross.
I'm returning everything and I don't think I'll ever shop at Betabrand again. It's a real shame, because I really do love their pants. But this whole experience was just a mess.
Betabrand Clothing Review: Made in China, Soft Material, Tight Fit
Just checked the label and guess what? Made in China. Below is their ad. Leads one to believe they are made in California. Betabrand is an online clothing community based in San Francisco. We design, manufacture, and release new products nonstop. I gotta say, I was pretty impressed with the shipping time frame and cost. The material is very soft, which is a plus. I ordered 1 x Boot-Cut | Classic Dress Pant Yoga Pants (Ocean) - Medium Long. I am 5'8" and weigh 146 lbs and am 61 years old. The pants are way too long and too tight. I understand they are yoga pants and are supposed to be tight, but these are like a second skin. Look at my pics. You can see every fat cell in my legs lol. I do thank Betabrand for my wake up call to lose some weight and tone up my legs and gut. And for me to stop trying to hide behind cheap yoga pants because my zip up pants are too tight in the waist. Ha ha. I think if I was 130 and ordered the regular pant this could work. But hey, I'm gonna keep 'em and hang 'em up like the teeny-weeny polka-dot bikini.
Terrible Experience with Betabrand: Lost Order, False Refund Promise, and Poor Customer Service
I had a really bad experience with Betabrand. They took my money on December 1st, but I never received my pants. I called them on December 23rd to ask what happened, and the customer service rep blamed FedEx, saying that they lost the package. He said that he could only refund my money and couldn't send me the order. I don't understand why they couldn't just send me the order that they charged me for more than three weeks ago.
I checked with FedEx, and they said that they received a shipping label request, but Betabrand never supplied a package. I even have pictures that show the order is being packed, so how could it be FedEx's fault?
To make matters worse, the customer service rep lied to me a second time about my refund. He said that I would receive a "sur credit" and confirmed that it wasn't a "store credit." I asked him to clarify what he meant, but he just kept repeating the same thing. In the end, they only gave me a $35 "store" credit, which I will never use.
I don't know if their products are good or bad, but their reviews on this site aren't looking so good. I would advise you to stay away from Betabrand and save yourself the headache.
Disappointing Experience with Betabrand's Yoga Pants for Work
I gotta say, I was pretty excited when I heard about Betabrand and their yoga pants that you can wear to work. I mean, who doesn't want to be comfortable while looking professional, am I right? But let me tell you, my experience with this company was not great.
First of all, the sizing was all wrong. I ordered my usual size, but when the pants finally arrived (more on that later), they were way too tight. I mean, I know yoga pants are supposed to be form-fitting, but I couldn't even breathe in these things. And it's not like I could just return them and get a bigger size, because...
...the shipping took FOREVER. Seriously, I placed my order and then waited and waited and waited. I couldn't find any information on their website about when my order would arrive, and when I finally got to the checkout page, I saw that it would take TWO TO THREE MONTHS to get my pants. What the heck?! I needed them now, not three months from now. But I was desperate, so I went ahead and placed the order anyway.
And then, to add insult to injury, Betabrand started spamming my email like crazy. I mean, I get it, they want to promote their products, but there's a limit, you know?
Anyway, long story short, I ended up keeping the pants because I have some weight to lose and I'm hoping they'll fit better eventually. But honestly, I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. The sizing is off, the shipping is ridiculous, and the spam is annoying. Maybe someone else will come up with a better version of this idea and sell it in a real store.
Disappointing Experience with Betabrand: Poor Service and Quality at Steep Prices
I gotta say, my experience with Betabrand wasn't the best. I mean, I always thought their stuff was pretty cool and all, but after a few orders with some major issues, I just can't say I'd recommend them. First off, their prices are pretty steep. You'd think that with those kinds of costs, you'd be getting some top-notch service and quality. But nope.
I preordered this one item that was supposed to ship in the winter, but it just kept getting delayed and delayed for months on end. Customer service was sending out promo codes and apology items left and right to make up for the poor service, but it was still a major bummer. I mean, come on, just ship the dang thing already!
So I decided to give them another chance when they had a sale going on. I found this item I really liked and made the purchase. But then, they didn't even ship it for a few days. What's up with that? Finally, I get an email saying that my item is out of stock because of some "inventory snafu." But get this, it's still showing as in stock on their website, even though it's been days since I made the purchase. And when I asked if there was another size available, the only option was one that was way too small for me.
Overall, I just think Betabrand is poorly managed and run. It's a shame, really, because I used to be a fan. But they've lost my business for good.
Mixed Experience with Betabrand: Crowdfunded American Clothing Company
So, I gotta tell you about Betabrand. I found them on Poshmark, which I know is kinda frowned upon, but I couldn't resist their stuff. It's definitely on the pricey side, but I'm all about supporting American companies and I love the whole crowdfunding concept they've got going on.
Now, I will say that their website can be a bit wonky at times. Like, I tried to use the chat option and it just straight up didn't work. And when I ordered some shoes, they were in pre-transit for like 10 business days before I finally reached out to customer service and got a response. Turns out they oversold the product, which is frustrating, but they did refund me right away. It just took way too long for them to notice the issue.
I also pre-ordered some pants that I thought would be available right away, but it turns out they won't be ready until September. That wasn't super clear when I ordered them, but I decided to stick with it. And let me tell you, it took a whopping 15 business days for them to finally ship. And they use snail mail, so if you want expedited shipping, you gotta pay extra.
Now, I'm no stranger to buying from small companies. I'm a big Etsy fan and I've found some amazing products on there. But after my experience with Betabrand, I'm not sure if I'll be buying from them directly again. Maybe I'll just stick to buying their stuff second-hand on eBay or something.
