Beware of Betfair's Acca Edge Void Option: A Cautionary Tale
I recently placed a bet on Betfair's new acca edge option, which requires a minimum of 5 selections. The deal is that if you get one selection wrong, you get your money back. I was excited to try it out, especially since I had 7 selections with a potential return of 11/1. With the acca edge, my return was reduced to 8/1, which I assumed was to cover their liabilities.
Unfortunately, one of the games was cancelled due to rain. As any experienced bettor knows, the remainder of the bet will continue. All the other games came in, but the final game ended in a 0-0 draw. I didn't even bother checking the cash out option because I knew I had my money back thanks to the acca edge option.
However, when I checked my balance, my stake was gone. I was shocked and confused. It turns out that my acca edge bet was voided. The information box that explained the deal never mentioned anything about a void option. I felt like Betfair was hiding behind their terms and conditions.
Overall, I would caution others to be aware of this issue. While the acca edge option can be a great way to protect your bet, it's important to read the fine print and understand all the terms and conditions before placing your bet.
Betfair's Refund Policy is a Disgrace - Stick with Paddy Power Instead
I don't usually bet on the horses, but I decided to have a flutter on a few races during a big meeting. One of the horses I backed was called Speculative Bid. Unfortunately, it was left in the stalls during the big race. I was disappointed, but I thought at least I would get my stake back. However, that wasn't the case.
After the race, there was a stewards inquiry and it was declared a non-runner. I watched the TV coverage and within 10 minutes, the presenters said that all the bookmakers would have to refund the stake and a rule 4 would apply. I waited for a couple of hours, but my stake had not been refunded. I decided to talk to someone on live chat to find out what was going on.
To my surprise, they told me that they don't pay out on anything after the weigh-in on the exchange. Apparently, it's somewhere in the fine print in their rules. I was shocked and disappointed. Every other major bookmaker would refund the stake from what I understand. For a company that large and that makes that much profit, it's a disgrace!
I would advise people to stick with Paddy Power if they want to back a horse. They always seem to pay out on these sorts of things. Betfair may be a big company, but they don't seem to care about their customers. It's a shame because I thought they were a reputable bookmaker, but now I know better.
Betfair Roulette: Big Wins and Suspicious Activity
So, I gotta say, I had a pretty wild ride on Betfair last week. I hit up the roulette tables and boy did I hit it big. I won a ton of cash in no time at all and I was feeling pretty good about myself. I withdrew my winnings right away, but I couldn't resist coming back for more.
That's when things started to get a little weird. I noticed that something was up with my account. Whenever I placed a bet under $100, everything seemed to be on the up and up. But as soon as I went over that threshold, things got a little wonky.
The ball would spin around the wheel way more times than it should have, and it always seemed to land on the same numbers depending on what I bet. If I went big on red, it would always land on either 6, 20, or 35. If I went big on black, it would always land on either 1 or 12. And when I played my regular numbers along with these "glitch" numbers, the ball would only go around the wheel twice before slamming into a number I wasn't even playing.
Now, I'm not one to jump to conclusions, but after playing enough times to be absolutely certain of what was going on, I started calling out the numbers that the ball was going to land on. And wouldn't you know it, I was right every single time.
Look, I know I won big the first time around, so I was willing to take some losses to prove that this wasn't just some coincidence. And if anyone out there wants to take further action, I'm more than happy to help out. I've got all my bet history saved and ready to go.
Questioning the Integrity of Betfair: A Review of Recent Events and Concerns
Betfair is a popular online betting platform that has been around for quite some time. However, there have been some concerns raised by users about the perceived manipulation of their markets. While some may dismiss these claims as 'sour grapes', recent events have made me question the integrity of the platform.
I was watching a quarter final tennis match between Jabeur and Liu with my granddaughter, which Jabeur was expected to win. We had only seen them play once before, with Liu winning. As we watched the match on television, I decided to open Betfair on my laptop to see how the trading was going. Both players had won a set each, so I expected an open market. However, before the start of the third set, all the money to win was going on Liu, despite the fact that the first six games in the third set were pretty even with the score at 3-3.
To my surprise, the money still continued to be for Liu, contrary to what we were watching on TV! This observation made me wonder if some people were aware of something that the rest of us did not know. Given the amount of money traded on Betfair alone, in the past, this would have raised alarm at Betfair. However, these days it no longer seems to happen. My granddaughter even commented that Jabeur "stopped playing", but who knows if that's what really happened.
As a result of this experience, I am seriously considering leaving Betfair. While I have enjoyed using the platform in the past, the recent events have made me question its integrity. It is important for users to feel confident that they are using a fair and transparent platform, and I am not sure that Betfair meets these criteria.
Betfair's Lack of Integrity and Poor Customer Service - A Disappointing Experience
I had been using Betfair for over a decade, but unfortunately, I had to close my account due to a disappointing experience. I had placed a bet on a 1.5+ first half goals, and the bet was showing as 'matched' in my account. However, as soon as the bet became a winning one, it was suddenly voided, and I was not paid out on the bet. I was quite surprised by this, as I had never experienced anything like this before.
When I contacted the Helpdesk, they were unable to explain why the bet was voided so late on. I was offered ?5 in compensation, but I declined it as I was not interested in being 'appeased' by freebies. I just wanted to be paid out what was properly due to me. Unfortunately, Betfair refused to do this, so I had no choice but to close my account immediately.
It's a shame that Betfair lost a customer of over 10 years, as I would have continued to make bets with them in the future. However, I cannot tolerate a lack of integrity like that. If they can do this to a loyal customer, then I can easily understand why new customers may have negative experiences with the company. It's clear that Betfair has no conception of customer care or retention, so I bid them farewell.
I would advise anyone considering using Betfair to think twice before doing so. While they may offer competitive odds and a wide range of betting options, their lack of integrity and poor customer service make them a risky choice. There are plenty of other betting sites out there that value their customers and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure their satisfaction.
Beware of Betfair's In-Play Cash Out: A Warning to Fellow Gamblers
of Betfair's in-play cash out feature.
As a fellow gambler, I must warn you about the dangers of using Betfair's in-play cash out feature. It is the quickest way to lose your money and be robbed by Betfair. I am currently in the process of filing a complaint with the gambling commission, as a Betfair representative online has confirmed my suspicions.
When you are watching a live race on TV, you may not realize that the broadcast is actually delayed by up to 7 seconds. However, Betfair's live feed link is in real-time, which means that they have an advantage over you. They know what is happening in the race before you do, and this can be a huge disadvantage when it comes to cashing out.
If you try to cash out at what you think is the right time, Betfair may reject your request. This is because they know what is going to happen in the race before you do. They have up to 7 seconds to reject your request when they know you will lose before you do. This is an unfair advantage that Betfair has over you, and they do not disclose this in their terms and conditions.
Using in-play cash out is a con, theft, and unfair gambling. If you have experienced this issue, I urge you to gather your information and file a complaint with the gambling commission. It is important to hold Betfair accountable for their actions and protect other gamblers from falling victim to this unfair practice.
In conclusion, I advise all gamblers to beware of Betfair's in-play cash out feature. It is not a fair way to gamble, and you cannot win if you are playing against someone who knows the result before you do. Think twice before using this feature and protect yourself from being robbed by Betfair.
Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Betfair: Lack of Empathy and Arrogance
I recently decided to close my account with Betfair, a company that I had been loyal to for quite some time. Unfortunately, my experience with their customer service left me feeling quite disappointed. It seems that they lack the willingness to assist their customers, which is quite shocking to me. I can only assume that this is due to their arrogance.
The issue that I had was related to a football bet that I had placed. I made an error in the stake placement and realized my mistake about an hour before the game was set to start. I immediately called Betfair to amend the stake or void the bet. However, when I finally got through to an agent after holding in a queue, he told me that he was having technical issues and asked me to call back later. I tried to explain that it was essential that I speak to someone before kick-off, but he cut me off before I could finish my sentence and redirected me to the queue system. I couldn't believe it! It felt like he didn't want to take my call and just wanted to get me off the phone.
I tried to call back five more times, but each time I had to hold and couldn't get through. I eventually spoke to an advisor at half-time to explain the situation and the poor service I had received. The advisor was very pleasant and understanding, but unfortunately, there was nothing she could do other than pass it on to the traders to look at. This wasn't the first time I had issues with Betfair, and each time I was promised a call back that never materialized.
I am personally astonished that such a big company, if not the leaders in the gaming industry, have such a lack of empathy for their customers. I have deposited over ?4,000 in the last six months, and this is how I get treated? It's unacceptable!
As a result of this experience, I have decided to close my account with Betfair. Their arrogance and sheer disregard for customers have lost them a loyal customer. However, on a positive note, there are plenty of other betting companies out there that are happy to offer a good level of service and treat their customers like valued individuals.
Betfair Review: Lack of Transparency and Unfair Practices
So, I recently joined Betfair after seeing an ad offering a crazy 3/1 for David Haye to win his comeback fight. I signed up just before the fight, but couldn't find the offer once I joined. I deposited ?50, thinking it was a no-brainer and an easy ?150. However, when Haye won easily as expected, I was slightly irritated as I felt like I had just lost ?150. I went onto chat with a Betfair advisor, explained the situation, and he told me the 3/1 was limited to a ?10 bet, which was not mentioned in the ad. I was still a bit annoyed, but I used my free bets during the week and managed to make ?30 in profit.
Then, on Saturday, January 23rd, I decided to put a little double on both West Ham and Espanyol to win. Both teams took the lead, so I had a cash-out option. However, the Espanyol game was finishing earlier, so I decided to wait for the remaining 8 minutes to see if the game would close out, which would force the payout up. Villareal were on top and got a corner, so I cashed out, hit the cash-out button, then the confirm button, literally moments before Villareal equalized. My screen went grey, and then it came up betting suspended. A few moments later, Cashout appeared offering less than my stake. Feeling once again irritated, I contacted Betfair and was told that this was not a guarantee, and it can take 7 seconds for the confirmation to come through.
Now, if that was the case, fair enough, but they can accept deposited funds in less than a second, they can accept a bet and deduct the stake from your account in less than a second, but they need 7 seconds to activate an option that they offer, are calculating in real-time, and allow you to choose? It's an unfair practice and not one I condone. The facts are, I hit cash-out and confirmed before the goal. Once the confirm is hit, anything that happens after that is of no concern. However, having read some of the posts above, it appears us mugs are operating around 7 seconds behind "Live" play, so if anything happens in the 7 seconds after cashing out, you probably won't get your money.
Personally, I would avoid this mob like the plague now. It's frustrating to feel like you're being taken advantage of, and I don't appreciate the lack of transparency in their offers and practices. I've withdrawn my funds, and I'm considering making a complaint to the Ombudsman. It's a shame because I was initially excited about the potential of Betfair, but now I'm just disappointed.
Betfair: A Shady Business with Your Personal Info
This website is not good at all, it's a total scam. I tried to deposit money and that was no problem, but when it came to going through their ID/age verification process, that's when the problems started. It took me three whole days of emailing back and forth just to get verified. They said they needed to see a copy of my passport or driver's license in order to verify my age. So, I sent them all the required documents, including my bank statement and credit card copy, but they denied my ID check because I had wiped out my passport number and bar code at the bottom of my passport. My photo, my first and last name, and my age were all visible, but they said they needed to see my passport number. Now, if you're a smart person, you might ask, why do they need to see your passport number or bar code? (I have a Ukrainian passport, so it's useless to check it in the UK anyway. The only way to check it is at border control and customs, and yet you would have to provide the original document to see if it's real. But I doubt that Betfair has a connection to such a computer to check if your document is real. Besides, you can't do it without a connection to some serious government database.) My passport number or bar code won't help them in any way.
They talk about security, but providing your passport number to a gambling site - is that secure? One thing is for sure, without this number or bar code, it's impossible to make a fake passport or driver's license and go to the bank and get a fake loan, right? So, my question is, why did this site want to see my passport number and bar code or any personal info on my documents? And anyone should ask themselves what this site does with those numbers and what kind of identity checks they do if a simple copy of a passport with a visible date of birth and photo isn't enough for them.
Why do they want to see your actual passport number and bar code? According to Betfair, for your ID check, you can wipe out all the credit card numbers and only leave the last four, but with a passport or driver's license, they must see all the digits. The simple answer is that they sell this info on the internet and make money from it. Because if someone has info on your driver's license or passport, they can get those digits on the credit card that you wiped, but they can't do it without your passport number or driver's license number.
So, if you're thinking about security, think twice before doing business with this site. They're definitely doing some shady business with all of those documents you send them to prove your identity. If you go to the site, you can deposit money with a credit card, no problem, no ID check, but try to get your winning money back, and that's where they want something from you - your real documents. Priceless.
Especially if you're a high roller and deposit a large amount, this site will definitely have all the necessary info to scam you with fake IDs. If you think it's not possible, think about how people get fake ID info and make credit cards and steal millions from credit cards. The main venue is gambling sites. And it seems that Betfair is doing it right from the UK.
Don't believe me? Ask them why they need the number of your passport or the bar code of your passport. It's useless info for them. It won't tell them anything about you or your document since you send them a copy. But without it, they won't open your new account or give you your winning money. So, if you're a high roller and someone charges your credit card somewhere in Saudi Arabia or takes out a large loan, think about where they got all of your driver's license numbers or passport numbers - it's right at Betfair!
I wouldn't be surprised if this site operates just for that purpose - to find a whale with deep pockets and get all the documents from them. Don't trust this site. Use your head!
Disappointing Experience with Betfair: Game Crashes and Joining Bonus Issues
I recently registered with Betfair and unfortunately, I had a few issues that have left me feeling disappointed. Firstly, I experienced several game crashes across a variety of games, including Cool Jewels, Monopoly, Merry Money, and Raging Rhinos. Despite receiving a message stating that there was a connection problem that would resolve in a minute, the issue persisted throughout the day. Additionally, I did not receive the 500% joining bonus promised upon depositing £25.
When I contacted the Betfair Help Centre via Live Chat, I spoke with Sarah who was polite but unable to resolve my issues. She suggested that I may not have met the requirements needed to play casino games, but I assured her that I had all the recommended downloads to run smoothly on any other games. Sarah then asked if I had the latest Java and Flash player, which I confirmed that I did.
Regarding the joining bonus, Sarah informed me that any bonuses on the casino needed to be bought in and that there was no such deposit bonus on the site. However, I had signed up with a bingo promo code and had been playing slots, which should not have affected the deposit bonus. I provided Sarah with a link to a website that listed Betfair as offering a 500% deposit bonus, but she informed me that this was an affiliate promotion and that I would need to contact them directly.
Despite Sarah's efforts to help, I was left feeling frustrated and disappointed with the service I received. I also found it concerning that my games kept crashing and voiding, yet Betfair claimed to not be experiencing any issues from their end. Sarah suggested that I try clearing my cookies and cache from browsing history, but this did not resolve the issue.
Overall, I would not recommend Betfair to anyone based on my experience. The lack of clarity around the joining bonus and the persistent game crashes have left me feeling like I wasted my time and money. I will not be using this site again.

Betfair Review: A Warning to Stay Away from These Crooks
Betfair is a website that I wouldn't recommend to anyone. They are a bunch of crooks who will take your money and run. I had an account with them and had 200 euros in it, but they closed it down without any warning. They didn't even bother to give me my money back. These idiots are nothing but a bunch of thieves who will do anything to make a quick buck.
I tried to contact their customer service, but they were no help at all. They just kept giving me the runaround and wouldn't give me a straight answer. It's like they don't care about their customers at all. They just want to take your money and run.
I would advise anyone who is thinking about using Betfair to stay away from them. They are nothing but a bunch of crooks who will steal your money and run. Don't trust them, they are not to be trusted.
Betfair Review: Terrible Customer Service, Clunky Website, and Unreliable Mobile App
I've been using Betfair for more than a decade now, but I'm finally fed up with their shenanigans. They took ?12 from me, which may not seem like a lot, but it's the principle of the matter. These guys are a bunch of clueless [censored]s who don't know what they're doing.
I've had nothing but trouble with Betfair. Their customer service is terrible, and they never seem to have any idea what's going on. I've lost count of the number of times I've had to contact them to sort out some issue or another. And every time, it's like talking to a brick wall.
Their website is a mess too. It's slow, clunky, and difficult to navigate. And don't even get me started on their mobile app. It's a disaster. I've lost count of the number of times I've tried to place a bet on my phone, only for the app to crash or freeze up.
Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with Betfair. I've put up with their nonsense for far too long, and I'm finally calling it quits. I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.
Betfair Review: A Solid Choice for Betting with Some Ups and Downs
your way. Betfair is a great place to put your money down and try your luck. When it comes to depositing money into your account, they are top-notch. Rus. B is right on the money with that one. However, when it comes to getting paid out, things can get a bit tricky. General "Stonewall" Jackson seems to be the one in charge of that department, and he can be a bit of a pain to deal with. But hey, that's just the way it goes sometimes.
Overall, I'd say that Betfair is a solid choice for anyone looking to place some bets. Just be prepared for some ups and downs along the way. If you're lucky, you might just come out on top. But if not, well, that's just the nature of the game. So go ahead and give Betfair a try. Who knows, you might just hit the jackpot!

We looked up Betfair and found that the website is receiving a high amount of traffic. This could be a sign of a popular and trustworthy website, but it is still important to exercise caution and verify the legitimacy of the site before sharing any personal or financial information
However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:
- While Betfair has a high level of trust, our investigation has revealed that the company's complaint resolution process is inadequate and ineffective. As a result, only 0% of 10 complaints are resolved. The support team may have poor customer service skills, lack of training, or not be well-equipped to handle customer complaints.
- Betfair protects their ownership data, a common and legal practice. However, from our perspective, this lack of transparency can impede trust and accountability, which are essential for establishing a credible and respected business entity.
Betfair's Unreasonable Security Measures and Refund Policy: A Disappointing Experience
So, I was really excited to try out Betfair and see what all the fuss was about. I deposited ?10 and started placing some bets. However, things quickly went south when I received an email from Betfair asking for my passport, bank statement, and a photo of my bank card. They gave me a deadline of just one hour to provide this information, which I thought was a bit unreasonable.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to provide all the requested documents within the given time frame, and as a result, my account was locked. I was pretty upset about this, but what really got me was that Betfair refused to refund my ?10. I mean, come on, that's just not fair.
Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience with Betfair. I understand that they have certain security measures in place, but I feel like they could have been a bit more reasonable with their requests and deadlines. And to not refund my money? That's just not cool. I don't think I'll be using Betfair again anytime soon.
Betfair Review: Too Much Personal Information Required for Withdrawals
So, I was trying to withdraw my winnings from Betfair, and they asked for my Passport number or Driving Licence number to 'verify account'. I was like, why do they need that? Bet365 and PP don't ask for that. But if you don't give them these, you can't withdraw your winnings. I mean, come on, they already have my bank account details, isn't that enough? It just seems like they're asking for too much personal information.
Overall, I would say to avoid Betfair. It's just not worth the hassle of giving out so much personal information. There are plenty of other betting sites out there that don't ask for as much.
Betfair Review: Untrustworthy and Money-Hungry - My Frustrating Experience with Their Roulette Game
without any money left? That's why i don't trust Betfair. They just want to take your money and don't care about anything else.
Betfair is a betting website that offers a variety of games to bet on. I recently tried my luck on their roulette game and had a frustrating experience. I kept betting on the same color for nine consecutive times, but unfortunately, luck was not on my side. It was a 50-50 chance, but I still lost every time. I know some people might say that it's just the average, and if I play 1000 times, it will be 50-50. But that's not the point. The fact is that they took all my money by controlling the game, and how can someone continue to bet 1000 times without any money left?
This experience made me lose trust in Betfair. It seems like they only care about taking your money and don't care about anything else. I would not recommend this website to anyone who wants to bet on games. It's better to find a more trustworthy website that values its customers and provides fair games.
Disappointing Experience with Betfair: Account Restrictions and Poor Customer Service
Betfair is a betting website that I recently tried out. I was excited to place my bets and hopefully win some money. However, my experience with Betfair was not a good one. I deposited my money and placed my bet, but then I received a message saying that my account was restricted. This was very frustrating because I was so close to winning over 200 dollars. I tried to cash out my bet, but I was unable to do so because of the restrictions on my account.
I was very disappointed with Betfair and their customer service. They told me that I needed to send in some ID verification, which I did. However, I felt like this was just an excuse for them to steal my money and prevent me from cashing out my bets if I won. It was a real con job.
Overall, I would not recommend Betfair to anyone. They are a bunch of wankers who are just out to steal your money. If you are looking for a reliable and trustworthy betting website, I suggest you look elsewhere. Betfair is not worth your time or money.
Beware of Betfair's Sneaky Tactics: A Review of Their Betting Services
I wouldn't recommend using Betfair for your betting needs. They seem to have some sneaky tactics up their sleeves that can really mess with your bets. For starters, they don't always show accurate stats for football teams, hiding red cards and shots on target. This can really throw off your betting strategy.
Another issue I've encountered is that they sometimes remove the cashout option when your bet is looking good, only to offer you a measly payout once the last game is finished. It's frustrating to say the least.
And if you have a complaint, good luck getting any help from their operators. They'll often hang up on you or ignore your requests for a manager callback. It's just plain rude.
Overall, I think Betfair is a very clever company that you should be wary of. I'd recommend going with a more trustworthy betting site like BET365 instead.
Betfair Review: Good Odds, But a Messy Site and Intrusive Welcome Call
I gotta say, I switched over to Centrebet from Betfair about a year ago and I haven't looked back since. Betfair's site is a bit of a head-scratcher, if you ask me. It's like they tried to cram every possible feature onto one page and it just ends up being a mess. Plus, it's not exactly easy on the eyes, if you know what I mean.
Navigating their site was always a bit of a chore for me, and placing bets was even worse. I mean, come on, I just want to put some money down on a game, not feel like I'm trying to hack into the Pentagon.
But, I will say this for Betfair - their odds are pretty darn good. I mean, I'm not a math whiz or anything, but I know a good deal when I see one. And Betfair definitely delivers in that department.
However, there was one thing that really rubbed me the wrong way about Betfair - the random welcome phone call. I mean, I get that they were trying to be friendly and all, but I just found it kind of intrusive. Like, can't a guy just place a bet in peace without having to chat with some stranger on the phone?
All in all, I wouldn't recommend Betfair. There are plenty of other betting sites out there that offer a better experience, in my opinion. Centrebet, for example, is far superior. So, if you're looking for a hassle-free betting experience, I'd say give Betfair a miss and check out some of the other options available.
Betfair's Land of Gold Progressive Jackpot Scam: My Experience
I had a really interesting experience with Betfair on Friday, June 17th. I was playing Land of Gold around 11-11:30 and I got to the bonus round. The game said that if you get three four-leaf clovers, you win the progressive jackpot. To my amazement, I got it! A box popped up on the screen that said "Congratulations, you have won the progressive jackpot!" It was just over 60 thousand! I clicked "OK" expecting it to be in my account, but it wasn't there.
I decided to call Betfair to see what was going on. The guy on the other end of the phone confirmed that someone had just won the jackpot. I told him it was me and my partner. He said he would have to get back to me and called me back about an hour later. He asked if I had taken a screenshot of the win, but I hadn't because it didn't say that in the terms and conditions. He said there was nothing he could do about it and that Betfair had ripped me off.
I was really disappointed with the outcome, but overall, I still enjoy playing on Betfair. They have a great selection of games and the website is easy to use. I just wish they had been able to help me out with my jackpot win. I'll still continue to play on Betfair, but I'll be sure to take screenshots of any big wins in the future!
