Biddeford Blankets A genuine worthless piece of junk!

Purchased model # TC15B3 a while back and never seemed to heat enough to be classified as a heated blanket. Customer service advised trying it over another blanket, under another blanket, and by itself. Tried every way and the most I could get was a little warmth in some spots, and cold in all the rest. My previous blanket was from Sunbeam and worked super for decades, without a problem. I couldn't find them anymore, so I assume they are no longer in business, which is where Biddeford should be. Totally worthless piece of junk!

Recommendation: Do not waste your money on this junk!

Biddeford Blankets Biddeford Electric Blankets Stopped working

I purchased two Biddeford Electric Blankets. Strangely, I purchased them the same day but from two different stores. I purchased the gray twin size from Big Lots and the Navy Blue queen size from Target. I purchased them in October of 2023. By February 2024 the twin size my son's stopped working. Now this is October 2024 and my queen size has stopped working. I've called the two customer service numbers for the company. One number is disconnected and the other number, a lady named Alice answered and said that the company went out of business more than a year ago. So, tell me why are the products being sold in the stores and Amazon with a 5-year warranty if the company is out of business?

Claimed loss: $45.00 Twin size electric Blanket and $80 Queen size electric blanket.

Desired outcome: I want either my money back or the Navy Blue queen size electric blanket replaced. I can be reached at [protected]

They advertise a 5 yr warranty which was just to sell a bad product. I have had mine for just over a year and it quit working. I have emailed them 3 weeks ago and received no response. Biddeford Blankets electric throw

I registered a Biddeford Electric throw with your company and have had it for maybe a year or so. On Monday evening, February 26, 2024, while I was using it sparks flew out where the cord fits into the controller. Luckily I was able to unplug before anything was set on fire.

The blanket is model OTG tracking number X127KE4440780

The controller numer is TC13WI Purchased at WalMart in Manchester, CT 06042

Biddeford Blankets Biddeford electric fleece blanket digital controller went out. 5yr warranty, purchased 5/11/23

I first emailed info@biddefordblankets.com on 1/22/24 07:00PM PST but have no reply. The Biddeford site contact page wouldn't submit.

I purchased my most recent Biddeford on Amazon, 5/11/23: ORDER [protected] w/5-year warranty. Micro Plush w/Digital Controller, Twin, Navy. After several months of good functioning, end of November, the blanket turned off and the controller does not light up at all. I have unplugged it for hours, days, weeks hoping it would reset, but it doesn't turn on at all. Traveling in December, I couldn't follow this from Amazon to Biddeford.

Can I send it back now for repair? Or can you please send out a new controller or replace the blanket?

Please let me know what we can do.

I returned my lectric blanket mand my throw as instructed so that both could be checked to see why the controller s are not working. I returned them over two eeks ago and hve not heard form youi.

Biddeford Blankets Plush electric blankes

My name is Melody Aleardi and I have pruchased 4 electric blankets within the past 4 months. The first one I purchased was in September. I took it home and plugged it in and it did not work. I returned it to Job Lot and got another one. That one worked for about a month. I got another one in October and that one lasted for 2 weeks. I never returned because I thought maybe it was my fault. I bought 2 more with the last 2 weeks and both of them now do not work! So right now have 4 plush blankets that do not heat. I would like to be refunded for these blankets or have replacement ones that work sent to me.

Biddeford Blankets Biddeford Blanket

I recently (11/12/23) purchased yet another Biddeford blanket (from Kohl's) and am trying to register the warranty online and I keep getting a database error message. There seems to be no legitimate website. I'm wondering if I should return the blanket to Kohls and purchase something else where I'm able to register a warranty. My question is... Is Biddeford actually in business anymore or is this warranty card useless? Please advise.

Biddeford Blankets Model 1C11W1

A couple of weeks ago I made a phone call to Beddeford Blankets [protected]) about waking up to our blanket control #10 light blinking and the blanket not functioning. This only happened occasionally and by turning the control on and off, it seemed to be functioning ok. But the last couple of nights the same scenario happened 3 times in one night. I wake up and have to reset it each time (usually set the dial to number 3 or 4 light). I did not get any answers or solutions from the phone call I made and since it was so intermediate I just let it go. Now that it is happening continuously and the weather is now getting colder this is very inconvenient and troublesome. Since the phone call offered no resolution I determined a e-mail might get some results. The blanket was purchased at Target around February or March of this year. I have misplaced the receipt.

Desired outcome: A new blanket shipped to below address - free of charge

Biddeford Blankets Heating blanket Model no. TC15B2, lot no 320818-9B

I ordered this blanket and went unused for a while. It was given to my mom as a gift in Dec 2022 and she told me it failed in April 2023.

Unfortunately she only just now informed me.

I do not know how long the warranty is. Or exactly when I ordered it. But, it was unused and stored in my bedroom closet so it shouldn't have broken only a few months of use.

I'd like a replacement.

Biddeford Blankets Biddeford Electric Blanket

It is a 2-year old blanket and on the coldest night in Houston, TX, the control panel went completely dark with the normal display that is usually illuminated, there is nothing to see in the display! Very frustrating to say the least. I had a G.E. electric blanket as a wedding gift that lasted over 50 yrs.!
The date today is 1/16/2022. I had washed the G.E. blanket numerous times on the gently cycle and it kept on heating winter after winter.

Desired outcome: To be reimbursed for this blanket I bought, and the store is no longer open here in Houston.

Biddeford Blankets DBP-T Controller doesn't work

I purchased this blanket 1/6/2021, used it a few wintery months, then packed it away for the summer. I recently unpacked it only to discover that the controller no longer works at all. I purchased this blanket because I had previously purchased a Biddenford blanket and that controller had stopped working also. I thought the new blanket controller would be interchangeable with the previous blanket controller, but the plugs are not identical. Now I am stuck with two electric blankets, 2 malfunctioning controllers, and a cold bed! And no understanding of how or where I can get guaranteed repairs on the purported two-year warranty. I am beyond furious! What good is this complaint form if there is no way for the company to contact the complainer to resolve the issue?

Desired outcome: Company sends a courier to my home to pick up both blankets, both controllers, repair them, and return both via carrier...free of charge.

Biddeford Blankets electric blanket

This is the third blanket I have purchased from Kohls made by Biddeford, and third blanket to stop working after two months. I called Biddeford, but they want me to pay the shipping back to them once again, for a third time, and I just cannot do that,.

This companies customer service sucks. They are owned by someone in Taiwan.
It's obvious the blankets are defective merchandise made in Taiwan and should be recalled. They just simply stop working. The cost to ship back to them is almost as much as the cost of a new blanket, so they know you wont pay it and are getting away with it. Im ny case, Im a disabled person on a fixed income, but that didnt matter to them. It also didnt matter to them that this is the 3rd time!

I have tried to contact the company concerning the mattress pad I purchased that is still under warranty. The phone number 800-789-6441is not a working number and when I try to complete the form online it will not submit. Is this company still in business?

I bought a Queen size heating blanket in December and it doesn't heat on the right side of the blanket. I have used this for two months and it already quit working on one side. I did send a warranty card to you after buying the blanket.

my wife got this throw before Christmas as an early gift. I have used it twice. T plug will not stay in and there are several holes in throw that were noy put together right.

I have been trying to register our 2 blankets with Biddeford blanket company, and I can't get it done on there web site. These are suppose to have a 5 year warranty on them. I'M TIRED OF TRYING.

i received one of your blankets as a gift for christmas. i used it twice then the control screen started reading "e" and would no longer work. i contacted customer service and was given direction to ship the blanket back. it would either be fixed or replace. i never received anything back.

Got this for a Present last Chistmas went to use it at my cabin but the controller doesn't work try totake it to Walmart but because I don't have a receipt they wouldn't take it back. Right now it just a piece of junk no controller controller type TC11W1. So what do I do with this Blanket?
