BikeBerry Tracer Kama 2.0 folding ebike

This will be my 2nd time purchasing from blue berry company. My 1st experience we had a mix up on the color ordered and they offered me a $100 in store credit. At the time wasn't planning on buying so they gave my credit card a $100 refund. That being said proved they wanted to make things right, the Tracer Kama 2.0 was exactly the type of e-bike i was searching for but not the color(gray). I gave it to my son who LOVED this bike coming from a Jetson Haze e-bike. Quality and style is nothing so far i've sean on these e-bikes. Can't wait for my BLACK 2.0 to arrive. As a consumer you appreciate when companies own their mistakes and want to make it right. Blue Berry you will have a loyal customer here in Hawaii

BikeBerry Broken spokes

I know that these bicycle rims are not made for a 180lb man with a 60lb engine and a backpack with 30lbs of gear in it. But i tell you what it lasted about 200 miles. After browsing for only 5 minutes i had several questions about the Mag wheels and i was helped within 1 minute and all my questions were anwered along with help to purchase adapters that aren't even sold by Bike Berry! I purchased my first motorized bike from BikeBerry about two months ago, all the items i've purchased are exactly as descriped and come shipped very durably and within promised shipping times. I now consider myself an enthusiast of motorized biking and love every ride i take, which is 5 days a week to work approx 30miles round trip.

BikeBerry Alvin the Great

My son was ordering parts for his motorized bike and placed an order about a week ago. I was having him put all of the info in and we just realized that he transposed a couple letters in the email address. We tried to look up our account and change the email, but it had the correct email so we went to chat to figure it out 3 min before they closed. That's where Alvin came in... He was quick to respond, resolving the issue quickly. I asked him where our previous order was and he was able to look it up and see that it hadn't shipped yet, but assured us that both order would be shipping tomorrow. Appreciated his honesty, only wich the system would have notified me so that I wasn't answering my son everyday as to "when will my order be in?" :) Great customer service!

BikeBerry Great customer service if you get right person

This business website is for bikes and motorized bikes, and I'm in the process of building and repairing mine. I had a problem with my order, the website glitched and didn't include the tapped intake like I clicked on when ordering the boost bottle so when I went to check out it only had the bottle no tapped intake and I ordered a bunch of other stuff as well and one of the bottom head gaskets showed up damaged and the wrong gasket set showed up so I contacted customer support and Freddie replied (best person I have talked to in customer service ever) so after talking with Freddie he was able to get the correct gasket set and a replacement bottom head gasket sent out and was able to help me order the tapped intake manifold with the shipping fee waved due to the glitch in the system the first time.

BikeBerry GigaByke 500 Swift arrived early and seems to be complete

I understand that BikeBerry is probably just a wholesale house for Chinese mfg. The GigaByke 500 Swift met all my criteria (cheap, disk brakes, less than 40 lb, etc). I wanted to learn. I ordered it with the upsize 10.4 AH battery. I am aware that UPP batteries are not the highest quality. BikeBerry shipped quickly and FedEx delivered very fast. Actually just six days total from CA to East TN. The crate was in good shape when it arrived. It had been opened probably to switch out the upgraded battery. The assembly instructions were a bit sparse but I have had a lot experience with regular bikes. I have not had to deal with BikeBerry customer service. My opinion might be different in that situation.
I am retired mechanical engineer. I have several bikes now. About 50 years ago I sold and assembled bikes at department store.

BikeBerry Technical advice from Freddie

I thought I had a couple of missing parts from my kit. After a live chat with Freddie he straightened me out the only problem I had was me. It took Freddie about 60 seconds to respond to my live chat, and about 60 seconds more to solve my problem there were no missing parts. From the time I ordered my bike kit which only took a couple of days to show up at my house to the prompt and professional assistance I received from Freddie I have been completely satisfied. Keep up the good service. Once again my hat is off to Freddie. Sincerely Daniel Bishop Midlothian, Texas. P.s. Don't let BikeBerrys affordable prices make you think you aren't getting quality products because you are getting more than you are paying for. Wish I could brag on them more especially Freddie but I have to go put my bike and engine together so I can start having some riding fun.

BikeBerry Bikeberry is the top

I recently got interested in a motorized bike, having been an active bike rider years ago and need in something interesting to do. I watched a few Bikeberry videos and selected the Bullet Train setup as my first build. I have three very expensive European pedal bikes in my barn attic and a decent selection of spare parts. Because of the Bikeberry instructions, I found a great 26 "bike after a few stops at charity stores and got to work. I had to order a new back hub and replace the spokes since I didn't use the RAG joint provided, opting instead for the 1.5" all metal hub setup. I never realized how hard it is to remove/ replace a set of spokes, but I got it done.I'm almost finished with the build and looking forward to going riding with my neighbor, Ian, who has an electric with a 250 watt motor. I might try one of those next. I am 77 years old and Bikeberry has made this a huge amount of fun with Tony Taylor's videos to lead the way.

BikeBerry Great customer service is still a thing it turns out

That's the big issue lately is a total lack of decent customer service like everywhere whether it be Amazon, O'Reilly's, McDonald's or even my local gas station and I'm holding back by saying decent because it not even close to that but not so with bike berry and Freddy in specific because he has been inundated by a swarm of my endless questions such as will this part work for blah blah which have been met with quick responses from a real friendly and pleasant person who seems from my perspective to genuinely care to help me with my concerns one of was they were sold out of a part I needed well I sent a few emails to check if it's back on shelves ( I'm sorta pushy) was always sent back a quick response they were always polite professional answered not yet until it got in ok I'm rambling, basically I'm saying I've had only good experiences with this company Freddy in particular btw the part didakt it to the shelves too but I'm most happy with the customer service in an age where there's not much good customer service anywhere and as a consumer that's super important to me so that's what I wanted to say, sorry folks I don't do anything quick and easy not even reviews hahaha

BikeBerry My bike runs great couldn't have done it without customer support!

I recently purchased the 26-in tracer beach cruiser with the 38cc Lock and load friction drive engine! When everything first arrived in the mail I was missing a few important bolts along with the quick release hardware for the engine to raise and lower. I got a hold of Freddie at customer support and I took a simple snapshot of everything that I did receive and he knew exactly what I needed right away and had my parts in the mail directly! Once I got all of the bike put together I went to install the bigger gas tank setup that it comes with to find out I was also missing the pieces to connect that as well. I then got a hold of Freddie once more and once more he had my parts in the mail directly! While I was waiting for my parts for the installment of the bigger gas tank I was having issues getting my engine started and getting it 100% on the road. I then reached out to customer support one more time and got a hold of Earl. He immediately sent me troubleshooting pictures and videos of exactly what I needed to troubleshoot my problems! Now my bike is running amazing and I am flying to work! I still need to install my big gas tank but I'm just super happy that I have everything to do it with and everything worked out perfectly! Thank you very much bikeberry! You guys have a lifelong customer!

BikeBerry Stay Away from BikeBerry: My $500 Bike Collapsed After Only Six Rides!

This website is a complete disaster! If you care about your body and don't want to end up in the hospital, stay away from BikeBerry! I had a terrible experience with them. I bought a bike for $500, which was not cheap at all. It was just a nice fat tire bike, nothing special. I rode it only six times, five of which were in the city park, and the bike completely collapsed! All the mechanisms that make the bike run, including the whole pedal part, were broken within a second! I was 15 miles away from my car, in the middle of nowhere, and it was a hot day. I was lucky that a guy helped me trim the chain and convert my bike to a one-speed bike. It was not fun to walk 15 miles with a broken bike under the scorching sun!

After I tried to ride the bike for several miles due to high pressure, the pedal part collapsed altogether and left a huge scar on my right ankle for the rest of my life! It was a terrible experience! To make matters worse, when I contacted the seller, they said they didn't care in a much nicer way. I was shocked! I had just spent $500 on a bike that was completely useless after only six rides, and they didn't care!

I had to call the manufacturer, who was just as unhelpful. After I sent them videos showing that there was no part on the bike, everything was destroyed and unable to be fixed, they said they would send me a new pedal. But I don't even have a place to screw it in! It was a complete waste of time and money!

Now I'm sending a defective product claim to the consumer department and looking for a lawyer who will be super happy to make money out of it! I hope this review helps you avoid more injuries and terrible experiences!

BikeBerry BikeBerry Review: Cheap Parts, Poor Quality, and Disappointing Service

So, I gotta say, BikeBerry ain't all that great. I mean, don't get me wrong, they got some decent stuff, but I'm pretty sure they just order parts in bulk from some cheap supplier and then charge you way more than they're worth. And the worst part? They don't even check the quality of what they're sending out!

I ordered an exhaust from them that they said was worth $50, but when I got it, it was covered in welding slag and had a hole in it. And don't even get me started on the retaining clips for the piston - they were the cheapest ones you could find! And the clutch cable? Fell apart almost immediately. And the exhaust seal? Garbage. It started leaking right away and they didn't even include an extra one.

Now, I get it, you get what you pay for. But when you're paying a company to put together a better kit for you, you expect them to at least include some decent parts. It's just common sense, you know? And it's not like they're interested in retaining customers anyway - they know that once you figure out their whole operation is just a dropshipping service, you'll go somewhere else.

Oh, and don't even get me started on the spam emails. I mean, everyone does it, but still.

Anyway, I attached the receipt they sent me so you can see for yourself. But honestly, my advice is to do some extra research and buy from somewhere that doesn't try to seem all fancy. I mean, the shipping isn't even faster from BikeBerry - my friend ordered from eBay at the same time and got his stuff first!

BikeBerry BikeBerry Review: A Total Scam - Do Not Do Business with Them!

I gotta say, all the reviews I read about BikeBerry were right on the money. I ordered two friction motor kits from them, but they sent me the wrong ones. I had to send them back, but they told me to keep the gas tanks and send only the motors back so they could send me the right ones. It took a whopping 8 weeks for me to finally receive the correct motors. During that time, I tried to cancel my order and get my money back, but that's when I found out about their sneaky return policy.

Apparently, if they ship any parts to you, even if it's not what you ordered, they will charge you to ship it back and also charge you for what they spent to ship it to you in the first place. And if that wasn't bad enough, they also tack on a 15% restocking fee on your ENTIRE order, even if they haven't delivered everything yet. It's a total scam, if you ask me.

To make matters worse, they're using the Covid-19 pandemic as an excuse not to answer their phones. They can all go to work, but it's too dangerous to answer the phones? Give me a break. And when they finally did send me the correct motors, they sent me two matching parts that weren't really matching (see photos below). When I asked them to send me another part that would actually match, they told me it didn't matter as long as I matched up the holes. Are you kidding me?

Their warranty is a complete lie, too. I wouldn't trust it for a second. I'm telling you, DO NOT DO BUSINESS with BikeBerry. They are hands down the worst company I've ever dealt with. And get this: the guy who owns and operates this company started it in his garage in California. With a Master's Degree in Business Management, I can tell you that BikeBerry is a textbook example of how NOT to run a business. I can't believe they're still in business.

If I lived in California, I'd be at their door every day throwing a fit. I'll never stop warning people not to do business with BikeBerry. Buyer beware! If I could give them zero stars, I would. Or even a few negative stars. They are a TERRIBLE COMPANY!

BikeBerry Terrible Customer Service and Defective Product: My Experience with Bikeberry.com

I had a really bad experience with bikeberry.com and I would not recommend buying from them. I spent $630 on a bike and when it arrived, the front fork was bent to the point where I couldn't even put the front tire on. I tried to get it resolved by contacting their customer service, but it was a complete nightmare. I have all the chat transcripts saved from 3 different days and they were not helpful at all.

Their return policy states that they will refund or exchange a defective product after 5 days of normal use, but I couldn't even test the bike for 5 days because it was defective out of the box. They tried to say that shipping could have damaged it, even though I had already sent them photos of the defect and the packaging it was shipped in. They wouldn't even provide me with a return authorization in the first chat log.

Eventually, they said that they would replace the fork because that was the defective "product", but I didn't buy a fork, I bought a brand new bike. I spent $630 on a bike, not a fork. They said that their warranty policy would override their return policy, but it was still a huge hassle. They sent me the fork, but I had to replace it myself and fix the bike that I hadn't even ridden yet. I had to disassemble the front brake just to transfer it over to the new fork.

Their customer satisfaction policy is terrible and I would highly recommend shopping elsewhere. They didn't even offer any compensation for the hassle. I hope they honor their 1 year warranty if I need it, but I will never purchase from bikeberry.com again.

BikeBerry BikeBerry Review: A Total Scam - Don't Trust Them!

So, I had a pretty bad experience with BikeBerry, let me tell you. I wrote a review about it and they reached out to me saying they would fix everything and make it right. I was pretty happy about that and even updated my review to reflect their helpfulness. But, turns out I was totally duped. They are not to be trusted, let me tell you.

Just two days after they promised to fix everything, I got an email saying that the items I was missing and the ones they sent me instead of what I ordered were out of stock. What kind of nonsense is that? I already paid for those items two weeks ago, why should I have to wait another month or more to get them? I called them up and spoke to the same guy, Christian, who had promised to fix everything. He gave me some story about how the items were out of stock but not anymore because they just got new inventory in. I wasn't buying it. I told him that if they couldn't ship today, I wanted a refund, no ifs, ands, or buts. He said he would verify and get back to me that day. But, surprise surprise, I never heard back from him.

They're playing games, I tell you. They don't want to give you your money back, but they'll string you along for as long as they can. It's a total scam. I wish I had checked out their reviews on BBB and TrustPilot before I ordered from them. You should too, if you're thinking about ordering from BikeBerry. Trust me, you'll see what I mean.

BikeBerry BikeBerry Review: Overpriced Junk, Slow Shipping, and Poor Customer Service

So, let me tell you about my experience with BikeBerry. It all started about 2 and a half to three months ago, and I'm still dealing with the problem. If you want a kit that works in a timely fashion, don't go to BikeBerry. Their prices are too high, shipping is slow, and their customer service is poor.

First, they sent me a defective kit that didn't have all the parts. The spark plug was bent, and the motor had a casting defect, which made it impossible to create a tight seal and get combustion. It took close to 3 weeks from the time I purchased it to finally receive the kit. The digital assembly guide, which originally said a DVD installation guide on their website when I purchased it, was actually just a link to YouTube of people working on bike motors. The digital assembly guide had no out-of-the-box installation set up, so be prepared to figure it out on your own. It took me a month to finally get a hold of customer service and start to address the issues.

I've been sent parts on more than one occasion, only to run into another problem. When they offered to send me an expansion chamber and upgraded motor for the inconvenience, I thought my problems were finally solved since I've heard good things about the company. Then, I got a 100cc motor plus expansion chamber muffler upgrade to resolve the problem, and the expansion chamber muffler didn't even fit on the 100cc motor sent. They told me there's no adapter piece for it, so they basically sent me parts that don't work together.

The bolts for the sprocket set up were poorly threaded, and I can't use bolts with bad threading. The cylinder screws were stripped, and so were the parts of the motor where they screwed into. They sent me another spark plug with the upgraded items without a box, and it was bent like the first one. I mean, seriously?!?

Now, they want to tell me they don't have an adapter for their own kit and to check my local store. They also told me I was sent the wrong motor and should've received an 80cc replacement, but it's supposed to be an upgrade for the defective motor. It's absolutely unorganized and unprofessional. We'll see what happens next. Better Business Bureau will be hearing from me since they refuse to even acknowledge that I've asked for a refund.

If you're interested in a bike motor kit, DON'T GO TO BIKEBERRY. They sell overpriced junk, and they won't even help you with it.

BikeBerry Disappointing Experience with BikeBerry: Long Wait Times, Conflicting Information, and Difficulty Checking Order Status

I recently had an experience with BikeBerry that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I placed an order for a bicycle on their website on April 25th, and while I received a confirmation email right away, I didn't hear anything else from them for a while. I wasn't too worried at first, but after about a week, I checked my order status online and saw that it was still listed as "processing." This concerned me, especially since I had been told that it would be shipped out within 7 days of my purchase.

I tried to log in to my account to see if there was any update, but I couldn't seem to get past the homepage. It was really frustrating, so I decided to call the company on May 4th. Unfortunately, I had to wait on hold for over an hour before I could speak to someone. When I finally did, I was told that the bicycle I had ordered was no longer in stock. I was really surprised and upset, because it had been in stock when I placed my order. I asked the representative why they would charge me for something they didn't have, and she apologized and said she wasn't sure how it happened. She gave me three options: get a refund, wait for the bike to be back in stock (which would take about 30 days), or choose a different color. The only color they had left was green, and I was hesitant to choose it, but the representative assured me that she would guarantee that bike for me and that it would be shipped within a week.

Unfortunately, that didn't happen. I waited a week and heard nothing from the company, so I tried to log in to my account again. I still couldn't get past the homepage, so I called them again. This time, I had to wait on hold for over 2 and a half hours before I could speak to someone. When I finally did, I was told that the green bike I had been guaranteed was not only not shipped to me, but it was now out of stock. I was really frustrated and disappointed at this point, so I asked for a full refund. I received confirmation of the refund via email that same day.

Overall, my experience with BikeBerry was not a good one. I understand that mistakes happen, but it was frustrating to have to wait on hold for so long and to be given conflicting information. I also found it really difficult to log in to my account, which made it hard to check on my order status. While I appreciate that the representative I spoke to was apologetic and offered me some options, I was ultimately left feeling like my time had been wasted. I hope that BikeBerry can improve their customer service and communication in the future.

BikeBerry BikeBerry Review: Fake Tracking Numbers, Lost Packages, and Lack of Urgency

Hey there,

I just wanted to share my experience with BikeBerry. I ordered a kit from them on June 29th and paid for 2-day expedited shipping. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned.

On July 2nd, I received a tracking number that turned out to be fake. I contacted BikeBerry and they told me that FedEx sometimes lies. I found it strange that my second order of bits and pieces were shipped via USPS and arrived quickly.

On July 3rd, the tracking number still hadn't changed. I told BikeBerry that something was wrong and that the order never went out. They insisted that the fake tracking number was real.

On July 6th, the fake tracking number now said "pending". BikeBerry told me not to worry and that I would receive my order that day.

On July 9th, I still hadn't received my motor and the fake tracking number still said "pending". BikeBerry then told me that FedEx lost the package, but the truth was that they never shipped it. They said they would send a duplicate order expedited and that I would receive a tracking number in 48 hours and the motor by the end of the week.

On July 10th, I received an email saying that I would receive a tracking number by the end of the week and that they would help me "every step of the way". I found it odd that they were saying this since I was the customer and had already done my part back in June.

On July 12th, I finally got the truth. The motor had been on backorder for 3 weeks and the tracking numbers were fake. They said the "warehouse" would ship it the next day and that I might receive it the following week. I asked for a refund, but they insisted that it was on its way. I will probably have to do a credit card challenge to get my money back.

I recommend staying away from this company. They lack any sense of urgency and are not truthful. I will probably get my motor eventually, but I'm stuck in this strange series of unfortunate events. I hope this review helps others avoid the same situation.

BikeBerry BikeBerry Review: Incomplete Kit and Poor Customer Service

BikeBerry is a website that sells kits to turn your bike into a motorbike. I recently purchased the Flying Horse Complete 5G 4 Stroke Motor Parts kit, which comes with all the necessary parts to install the motor, assuming you already have the motor. However, I was disappointed to find out that at the bottom of the items page, in the smallest writing possible, it stated that I needed to buy a bottom bracket, even though my bike already had one. The problem was that the crank assembly in the kit didn't have the long black rod thing that comes in the bike's bottom bracket.

I had to wait a whole week and a few days later from when I got all those parts to be forced to buy the bottom bracket just to get that rod I needed for the wide crank assembly. I had to pay for expedited shipping even though it should have come with all the other parts. I think I should get refunded the $30 I paid for shipping to get it this week, but I'm on a low income and insist via begging that BikeBerry refund me the $30 for the insane shipping of just a black rod I needed and should have gotten in order to use the wide crank part that came a week ago.

I would like to give a super mega outstanding review, but only if I get the part I need and should have gotten with all the others and a partial refund for at least $20 or a maximum of $30. I just can't emphasize enough how frustrating it is to get all these parts but then not even be able to install one part because you need another part. Heck, I would delete this review if BikeBerry ended up being honorable, righteous, and human by showing me their say for how this trauma happened by giving me what I need and refunding me.

Seriously, this whole thing let me tell you all, you don't even know the physical pain it dealt me. The builder ended up making me miss the last bus, so I was stranded like 48 miles away from home, at least not by car. It was completely dark, I had my phone about to die, and I just had to fumble and stumble around through the dark looking for help. Luckily, my biological mother's friend lived nearby, but before I got there, I had fallen down into gravel, got bloody, and was crying, begging for help, totally grappling for help to get home or find someone to get me to her friend's place.

Somehow, I made it thanks to the flashlight on my phone, but it died the second I got there. She did bring me back with her car, but I was all dirty and so I needed a shower like no one's shower, but the gym was closed, and I can't shower at home, so I used a rag to wipe my arms and some of my legs before I crashed into my sandpaper bed with oats and a thick shirt because it did not have a sheet or blanket, even though it's a Tempur-Pedic bed, and I just washed the sheet and blanket the day before.

I felt like the dirtiest person ever, and there was nothing I could do since it was so late, and I was so tired and weak. After all, I did not eat anything all day I was there and did not drink anything. Overall, I think BikeBerry needs to improve their customer service and make sure that all the necessary parts are included in their kits.

BikeBerry BikeBerry Review: Poor Customer Support and Inaccurate Product Pictures

I bought a motorized bicycle from BikeBerry a few years ago and have been riding it for hundreds of miles. However, the rear wheel bearings gave out due to the stress on the rear wheel, my weight, and the speeds the bike can reach. I watched a video on BikeBerry's YouTube channel and found a part that attaches the gear to the hub instead of the spokes, which causes stress to the hub. I ordered the part from BikeBerry and asked my bike shop guy to install it since I needed a whole new rear wheel built anyway.

However, everything went wrong from there. The picture on the site showing the part was not the actual picture of what I received. The diameter of the hole on the part was barely big enough to stick my thumb through, not a rear wheel hub. I called BikeBerry and they said it was my mistake for ordering the wrong size. I asked my bike shop guy to talk to BikeBerry to make sure the next part was right, but it was still wrong. I had to pay to return the parts and try again, which ended up costing almost as much as the part itself.

If BikeBerry had posted the actual picture of the correct size part on the site, we would have seen that the first one would never work. When the bike shop and BikeBerry talked directly, there should have been no way to still get it wrong. They could have offered to cover the postage to try again. The lack of support and wasted time, gas, and money to keep returning the parts is why I give BikeBerry a low rating.

If you have a motorized bike, you know that parts need to be replaced constantly. However, I would avoid using BikeBerry for parts due to the issues I experienced.

BikeBerry Poor support

So, several years ago I bought a motorized bicycle. Been riding many hundreds of miles before the rear wheel bearings gave out.
Because of all the stress on the rear wheel, my weight, the speeds this thing goes, and the fact that the motor attaches to a gear which is bolted onto the spokes. This causes stress to the hub. Which means a rebuilt rear wheel.

Well I watched a video from BikeBerry on youtube
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHHRSjM2mKM&t=38s
Seemed like a great idea. This attaches the gear to the hub and not the spokes. Since I had to have a whole new rear wheel built anyway, I asked my bike shop guy if I ordered this part would he install it. Sure.
Over the phone I had my bike shop person look at the bikeberry site to be sure I ordered the right size. He did
And here is where everything goes wrong.
The picture ON the site showing this part, after clicking the right size, is NOT the actual picture of what you get. The diameter of the hole on the part that showed up had an opening barely big enough to stick your thumb through. NOT a rear wheel hub. I called BikeBerry and they said this was my mistake for ordering the wrong size. Since I was calling from the bike shop I asked the guy building my wheel to talk to bikeberry and lets make sure the next part is right. He did. I ordered the right size, or so I thought, and still had to eat the cost of shipping the wrong one back.

When the next part arrived, it was still wrong. Again, at the bike shop I tried to call bikeberry. Sat on hold until my phone died. Went out to the car, plugged in my phone, tried again and sat on hold for well over a half hour longer.
FINALLY got through. AGAIN had them talk with the bike shop guy and again had to pay to return this part and try again.
And when that one came and still didn't fit? The bike shop called me and said they tried to call but he can't tie up his phone all day waiting on hold. I said forget it, just put the old gear back on the way it was. It got me hundreds of miles before failing. It will again.

The wasted time, gas, money to keep returning these parts. Heavy metal gears, not cheap to ship, ended up costing almost as much as the part itself.
All could have been avoided IF
1. Post the picture of the actual CORRECT size part on the site. We would have seen that first one would never work. (For that matter, that part would not fit ANY bike hub I ever saw.)
2. When the bike shop and bikeberry are talking directly, there should be no way to still get it wrong. I watched him measure the hub and give the number to bikeberry over the phone. So this time it was NOT my fault for ordering the wrong size.
At least they could have offered to cover the postage to try yet again.
3. Phones. Why have them if you can't hire enough staff to actually answer them? Support or in this case lack of, is why the low rating.

So if you have a motorized bike, then you know they need parts replaced constantly. This site is one to be avoided.

BikeBerry BikeBerry's Unprofessionalism and Ignorance: A Disappointing Experience

I recently made a purchase on BikeBerry's website for a motorized bike and engine kit as a special birthday gift. Unfortunately, when the first shipment arrived, the bike was all scratched up and damaged as if it had already been used. I immediately contacted customer service hoping for a quick resolution, but instead, I was told that I would have to pay for the return shipping in order to receive a new bike. This didn't seem fair to me, so I expressed my disagreement. However, the customer service representative explained that damage during shipping is common and that scratches do not affect the functionality of the item. They offered me a $40 store credit and allowed me to keep the damaged bike.

I also purchased Navidium Shipping Protection, but BikeBerry informed me that it did not cover the cost of return shipping. I was disappointed by the unprofessionalism and ignorance displayed by BikeBerry. It even made me wonder if they were scammers! As a customer, I had expected to receive a new and undamaged item after paying for it. However, I was punished for my "naive expectations" by being forced to cover the return shipping costs and hope that the same thing wouldn't happen again.

This experience has left me beyond disappointed and frustrated. I had hoped to give someone a special birthday gift, but now their special day will be ruined. It's a shame that BikeBerry couldn't provide better customer service and take responsibility for their mistakes.

BikeBerry Disappointing Experience with BikeBerry: Slow Support, Wrong Color, Faulty Parts, and Outdated Guide

My experience with BikeBerry has been a real headache. Their online customer support is super slow and all they do is ask for pictures before they'll even try to help you out. But I'm still dealing with them because I really want to get my hands on the Switz Cruz + BBR Tuning 2-Stroke Engine kit. First they only sent me the engine, and then I had to fight with them to get them to send me the bike. When the bike finally arrived, it wasn't even the color I asked for! They told me it was a variant, but they never said anything about variants being substituted. I put the bike together and, aside from the color, it's fine. But when I tried to assemble the engine, I ran into a problem with the piston and piston housing. I know it was dumb, but I ordered another engine. I finally got the bike completely assembled, but it won't start. I had to find their troubleshooting guide and try everything they suggested, but it still won't start. It turns out the CDI was bad, so I got a replacement, but it still won't start. Every time I tried to contact their online support, I had to wait forever for a response, and then they'd just ask for more pictures. In the end, I guess I'll have a working beach cruiser, but I regret ordering any accessories from them and I definitely don't recommend this company. You're better off buying from somewhere else. Oh, and their digital installation guide is just a link to a YouTube video that's totally out of date.

BikeBerry Disappointing Experience with BikeBerry: Poor Quality Products and Terrible Customer Service

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with BikeBerry. I've made two purchases from them and both times, I've been let down. The first time, I bought a Spitfire 2 stroke engine and a Micargi bike. The bike was alright, but the kit was missing a bunch of parts - the head, the piston, and more. It took almost a whole month before they finally fixed the issue. I mean, come on, that's just not acceptable.

But for some reason, I decided to give them another chance. And boy, was that a mistake. They sold me some cheap, poorly assembled mag wheels that broke after just four short rides. When I tried to get some help from customer service, they were just terrible. They told me that their policy for their crappy products was only 15 days. I mean, seriously? I've spent almost a grand on their stuff and they can't even make it right with some overpriced, low-quality mag wheels that they advertise as heavy duty?

Honestly, I should have known better. I should have just kept truing my spokes or gone to a more reputable dealer that actually values their customers and sells higher quality equipment. There are plenty of other options out there - eBay, GasBike, SickBikeParts, Amazon - that don't have such exorbitant shipping costs and actually care about their customers. Trust me, if you want to spend more time riding and less time dealing with crappy products and terrible customer service, don't buy from BikeBerry.

BikeBerry BikeBerry Review: Poor Customer Service and Shipping Delays

I heard a lot of good things about BikeBerry, but unfortunately, some of it turned out to be untrue. I placed an order on May 19 and my credit card was charged. Two days later, I called to check the status of my order and was told that my rims were sold out until July. After contacting BikeBerry again and reluctantly choosing a color of rims I didn't really want, I was assured that my order would be shipped within a day. However, it's now May 24 and my order still hasn't shipped, and I still haven't received a tracking number. The customer service is a joke, and they will tell you anything just to get you off the phone. Yesterday, on May 23, I was assured that my order would ship that day, but still no tracking information, still no shipment. To be honest, I'm starting to wonder if I'll even receive my order at all or if they took my money and ran.

I wanted to review the product here, but who knows if I'll even receive it at this point. I strongly advise all buyers to at least call and check the availability of the item before making a purchase. I was excited to explore some of the other products they sell, but now, I'm hesitant to order from this company again. If my order doesn't ship, I'll have to put a stop payment on my card, which will cost me more money. Don't make the same costly mistakes I did. Good luck and happy riding!

BikeBerry Disappointing Experience with BikeBerry: Late Shipping, Confusing Communication, and Delayed Refund

I recently made a purchase from BikeBerry, and I have to say, it was a bit of a disappointment. I ordered a bike that was supposed to be in stock and guaranteed to ship within three days. However, after a week had passed, I still hadn't received any shipping notification. I decided to reach out to customer service to see what was going on, but unfortunately, they couldn't give me any information about the package's whereabouts or whether it had even shipped yet.

As someone who values their time, I couldn't wait indefinitely for the bike to arrive, especially since the reason I chose BikeBerry was because of their advertised three-day shipping time. So, I decided to cancel my order and was told that I would receive a full refund. However, things didn't go as smoothly as I had hoped.

After canceling my order, I received another email from BikeBerry stating that the bike had already been shipped and delivered. Sure enough, when I checked my shipping address, the bike was waiting for me. Unfortunately, I had already ordered the same item from another store, so I reached out to customer service again to see what my options were.

They informed me that I could return the bike and receive a full refund, so I followed the return instructions to a T and sent it back via FedEx. However, even though returns are supposed to be processed within 14 days, I didn't receive a refund for a few weeks. I sent many emails to customer service, but I wasn't getting any responses.

Eventually, I decided to file a dispute with my credit card company. The same day I filed the dispute, almost two months after I had sent the bike back, I received an automated email from BikeBerry stating that my return had been processed. However, the refund was $105 less than the original transaction amount.

Overall, my experience with BikeBerry was a massive headache. I'm sure my credit card company will resolve the issue, but I wouldn't recommend wasting your time with this company.

BikeBerry Bikeberry Review: Dishonest Company with Poor Quality Parts and Warranty Scam

Bikeberry is not a good company. They say they will replace parts under warranty, but when they do, the parts are not as good as the original parts. They also did not send me all the parts that were supposed to come with my stage 4 kit. It took them a long time to send me the missing parts. The motor was not running well from the beginning and it still is not running well. I burned up a cylinder because the motor was running too lean. When they finally sent me replacement parts, they were not even the same color as the original parts. I had to buy a temperature gauge because the motor was running so lean that it was going to burn up another cylinder. I finally found out that the left side crankshaft seal was bad, but they won't send me the parts that burned up because of the bad seal. I think they just want to leave me with this bad motor. The magneto burned up and maybe the CDI too. I had to replace the left side seal with an old seal from my old motor that cost less than this new motor. I also had to buy my own magneto and I might have to replace the CDI too. I had to buy jets for the carburetor too. This company is not honest and they don't honor their warranty. If you write a bad review, they just hide it from their website. This is a scam!

BikeBerry BikeBerry Review: Frustrating Delay and Poor Customer Service for Qualisports Dolphin eBike

I was really excited to get my hands on the Qualisports Dolphin eBike, and BikeBerry had it listed as "in stock" on their website. I placed my order and expected it to arrive within a week or so. However, that was not the case.

Week after week went by with no word from BikeBerry about my order. I had to call them multiple times to get updates, and each time I was told that it would be shipped "within this week". But that never happened.

It took a whole month for my bike to finally ship, and even then, I was unsure when it would arrive. I could have easily gone to another seller who was upfront about delayed shipment or even gone to a retailer who had one on the floor and brought it home the same day.

Throughout the process, I was given various excuses for the delay, from "hasn't arrived from the manufacturer" to "shipping is slow due to COVID". None of these excuses made sense to me since the bike was listed as "in stock". It felt like a bait and switch situation, which was really frustrating.

While the customer service representatives were always polite, I had to spend a lot of time on hold. I spent over 45 minutes on the phone twice and once 56 minutes to get essentially nowhere with my order. It was really frustrating.

After my third phone call, I was offered a 5% discount for my "frustration", but it didn't really cover the inconvenience and change of plans I had to make because of the delay.

Overall, I would give BikeBerry a one-star review for finally sending me the bike (I only have the tracking number so far), but I have to take off four stars for the delay and inconvenience. It was ridiculous and not worth the hassle.

BikeBerry BikeBerry Review: Sketchy Pricing and Potential Scam Alert

I was gonna buy a 2 stroke motor from BikeBerry for $224. I had the money in my account but when I put my card info in, it got declined. So I called my bank and they told me that for out of state purchases, I need to let them know that I trust the site and want to buy from there. The lady on the phone told me to exit out of the site and then try again. When I did that, the total price went up to $334! That's over $100 more than what it was just a minute ago! I'm glad my bank declined the first transaction because something seems really sketchy about this. I don't trust this site or company anymore. I don't know if it's a real company or just someone trying to scam me. I wish I could show you guys screenshots but my phone's power button is broken. Be careful if you're thinking about buying from here.

BikeBerry Beware of BikeBerry: Shady Business Practices and Poor Customer Service

I recently had an experience with BikeBerry and let me tell you, it was not a good one. I was looking to purchase a bike and stumbled upon their website. At first glance, everything seemed great. They had a lot of positive reviews and the prices seemed reasonable. So, I went ahead and placed an order.

However, things quickly went downhill from there. After placing my order, I realized that I needed to make some changes. I tried to contact their customer service but was met with nothing but frustration. They told me that I couldn't get a refund even though my order hadn't been shipped yet. I was confused and frustrated, but they told me that I could still modify my order over the phone.

When I called, things got even worse. They played games with me, telling me that everything I had picked was out of stock and that there was a mistake. I ended up not being able to change anything about my order. They told me that I would have to wait until I received it, then wait to receive a return authorization. I got the feeling that they would intentionally drag out the process past the 30-day window.

But that's not all. I dug deeper into their policies and found out that refunds on anything returned are done at their own discretion. And, you must pay again for any items that were never received. It doesn't specify whether it's your or their mistake for not sending it in the first place. The more I dug through the reviews, the more obvious it became that I just got scammed.

Return shipping, insurance, and a 15% restocking fee will end up costing as much as the bike itself, if not more. And, they still get the unopened product back plus 15% of its value. It's a complete rip-off. Oh, and don't even get me started on their sale timer. When it hits zero, it just restarts.

Overall, I would not recommend BikeBerry to anyone. Their shady business practices are out of control, and they don't seem to care about their customers at all. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

BikeBerry BikeBerry Review: False Advertising, Terrible Customer Service, and Missing Parts

This company, BikeBerry, is not a good choice for anyone looking to buy bike kits. They are known for false advertising and ripping off their customers. When you receive the kit, you will find that half of the bolt holes are stripped or cross-threaded. This is a common tactic used by the company to avoid returns. Their customer service is terrible and unhelpful. They will play games with you until you get fed up and give up.

The worst part is that half of the parts will be missing from your kit and the instruction video. The company will tell you that the kit was updated, but the video specifically explained that you had an outdated kit. They will not do anything to help you.

I purchased a kit for $204.18 and had to spend another $40 just to get the mounting studs to screw in. When the kit arrived, every mounting stud was bent and cross-threaded. I sent them pictures and explained the issue, but they played games with me from day one.

I met all the criteria for their return policy, but they told me flat out that they would not return it because they did not want to. I am in touch with the attorney general's office and would be happy to add any information from others who have had similar experiences.

I hope that this company gets taught a lesson for scamming people. Their customer service is terrible and their product is flimsy and junk. A huge chunk was missing out of the clutch casing along with a bolt! Do not waste your money on this company.

On 09/20 I placed an order with BikeBerry.com for an electric bike for my husbands birthday. On 09/24 I cancelled the order. BikeBerry told me that they could not cancel the order as it was shipped. I rejected the shipment from *** (never even got off the truck) The item was sent back to bikeberry never delivered never touched and they kept $326.83 for an item that was never even delivered to my home. Never touched. I want a refund for the full amount. I tried to work this out with the company and they somehow justify stealing money from customers. This is not ok- in any way shape or form. Order #BB-278208 for Gigabyke for $1,099.95 From the first moment I tested the bike, the front brake caliper was sticking to the brake pad, which made the front wheel very hard to turn. I emailed them as soon as I got home to let them know about the front brake calipers. They emailed me telling me how to realign it. I tried their methods about nine times and it was clear that the caliper was defective. On 8/19 they told me they would send a replacement set of calipers. As of 1-26-22 they have not shipped the calipers or provided any date of shipment. On 1-24-22 I requested that they *** me a refund. On 1-25-22 they refused.Five months and one week is far too long to wait for a replacement. I purchased that bike to be able to use it, and it is not usable as intended nor has it been ever since I first bought it nine months and one week ago. Bikeberry has failed to provide a properly functioning electric bike, and they have failed to uphold their warranty.

I purchased two bikes in November (11/30 for $464.73) for Christmas presents. When opened one was not the correct bike and both were severely damaged (dented and paint chipping). I was told that I could not return one that was the correct bike and that they would send me replacement fenders to fix the one bike. The incorrect bike I boxed back up and returned the first week of January. I have called and emailed numerous times and have not received the replacement fenders or the other bike.

BikeBerry My wife and I bought a bike for my son's 12th birthday

My wife and I bought a bike for my son's 12th birthday. It broke after a month, called and tried to get service, they sent me a repair kit for the wrong bicycle, when I called to let them know they said they would ship the right parts, but never did. I have been trying to get a supervisor on the phone for 2 years and get told they're all in a meeting every time. All I want is what I paid for, yet they refuse. Recently I was told by a rep they would send me a new bike of the same model, what they shipped was the parts that they never sent from December.

I received a bicycle motor that I ordered online on April 2nd. I bought an upgraded motor which was the stage 4 kit. That kit with an NGK b 5hs spark plug and they sent me a cheap Chinese three prong plug instead. The kit also supposed to come with high performance carburetor. They sent the stock NTcarburetor instead. The throttle was also different than the kit I ordered. The gaskets for the motor were tore up and caused an air leak. The ignition specified on the kit that I ordered is the NGK stage 1 ignition but they sent me the higher performance ignition instead. They ignored the photos that I sent in order to get warranty replacement for multiple weeks. Now they are refusing to send me the parts that I bought and paid for. They claim that they can send me a cheap Chinese clone of the cylinder that I bought instead of replacing it with the same cylinder. My warranty is running out and I don't even have the product i ordered yet.

I bought a bike kit for $260. I received a shipping notice a few days later. Then I received and email stating not all the product is being shipped and the rest of it will be shipped over 60 days. I called to cancel the order and they said they have a policy where they cannot return the product. I have read online about this companies shady business practices. I have called and email with no help.

BikeBerry On 5/22 I placed an order for an electric bike for $688.53

On 5/22 I placed an order for an electric bike for $688.53. On 5/28, I requested a formal request via email to cancel my order. I made approximately *** formal requests since that date and have saved all the requests. I either would not receive a response or would receive a response stating the cancellation is being processed. Additionally, I called the company approximately 6 or 7 times requesting a status or information on my refund. I was told that my order has been cancelled and that it would be refunded. Additionally, I was told that a manager or supervisor would be contacting me. To date, no one has reached out to me, and I have not been refunded nor been informed on when I can expect a refund.

BikeBerry I purchased a bicycle motorized kit from Bikeberry for my son on 7/19 (order #BB-287013)

I purchased a bicycle motorized kit from Bikeberry for my son on 7/19 (order #BB-287013). The kit arrived damaged with a broken piston and line scuffing from poor packing. I took pictures and contacted the seller online requesting an RMA and return shipping tag. Seller just wanted to replace the parts that were damaged without making sure that the rest of the engine was ok. Other option to to provide me with an RMA tag but I need to ship the kit back even though I did not do the damaged (reasonable?). So I have the kit, but cannot ship it back! I have contacted my credit card company to contest this order. I guess I should have paid attention to all the poor reviews. Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks

I received a bicycle motor that I ordered online on April 2nd. I bought an upgraded motor which was the stage 4 kit.
