I ordered the Deluxe Fruit Sensation Basket regular price 129.99 on sale for 94.99.
The description says "fruit basket includes a variety of 24 pieces of seasonal fruits, examples pears, apples, oranges, plums, peaches, kiwi, mango & pineapple"
I received a basket that included 5 apples, 8 oranges, 4 bananas, 4 avocados & 2 lemons. The total value of the fruit basket cannot be more than $30.00
I called to complain and they were very curt and did not want to put me through to a manager. I used the live chat and they say that they are within their legal requirement for said basket as per description.
The basket looks nothing like the photo depicted on their website.
In total after tax & shipping I paid $127.99 for a $30 basket of fruit that I sent to a friend that just lost his wife of 40 years.
Disgusting that they refuse to respond.
Claimed loss: $127.99
Desired outcome: They should offer a 50% refund on my total cost
