never delivered flowers to my son-in-law funural
I ordered Flowers for my daughters fiaenc'es funeral online Thur 9/24/09. I called that same night for conformation on address and delivery. She confirmed the address and delivery date. I paid extra for them to arrive Friday 9/25/09 before 12:00. When I discovered they were not there. I called, my husband called, the funeral directory called. NO ONE RETURNED OUR CALLS. Sat 9/26/09, the day of the funural the flowers were still not there. I paid 80.00 for nothing. This is a disgrace and a dishonor not to deliver these flowers with my daughters note attached stating how much she loved him and will miss him. I depended on there word. I WILL NOT ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN AND I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM. This is so wrong.

product not representative / late delivery
I just stumblerd onto this website.. 3 years ago I ordered flowers for a funeral.. they were to be delivered to the funeral parlor by a specific date & time.. they were not.. I called the customer service right away for info. and they told me that I had to order by a specifc time in order to have the guarentted delivery .. why did thye not tell me this when I placed the order.. ?
Also what I got was not representative of the picture they have on the website.the bouquet was much smaller, less flowers and the base was not the same. . be very weary about ordering from this place.
They then sent me an email to see how I liked my experience ordering from them and what not.. I was completely honest wiht them and told them.. guess what? Never got a return email or any sort of attempt for complensation..

avoid bloomex - zero customer service
I ordered flowers for my fiance as she had a hard day and was feeling down. I ordered before 1pm in order to take advantage of the guaranteed 5pm delivery. Flowers were never delived. Received an email from Bloomex stating non-delivery was due to "technical difficulty". I could NEVER get anyone when calling customer service - always got "no agent is available" and to go to the website and click on the flashing "operator is online" button. I only had one request, I wanted Bloomex to contact my fiance and appologize to her for not sending the flowers. I chatted online with Julie, Karen, Dancan, and Crystal. Not one called my fiance with an apology (yet 2 told me they would). I was told by one that they were only operators and not customer service and was told by another that "all would be resolved after investigation" - whatever that means. I asked about the "guaranteed delivery if ordered by 1pm". Received no answer. I am very very very disappointed. Customer service is a worthless joke.

I like the way you kept in touch over email until the flowers were delivered.

Great place to get things done fast.
The only thing that needs work is the passwords to order online. We should create our own so it is easier to order online. However the peole are very friendly and I do enjoy talking to them. Your prices are great, keep it up!

fraud bait and switch
Bloomex business model is built on the oldest scam in the book. "Bait and Switch" the consumer.
Consumer pays by credit card when they place the order, Bloomex will send something - and your credit card company will not get involved because they did deliver some goods. The consumer is left to take it up with the company, who generally does not respond to complaints unless threatened.
BTW - there excuse to send something other than ordered is " the arrangement was too large to ship"... so you pay for a beautiful large arrangement as pictured on there website and you get "crap" in a vase... Dead flowers since Bloomex sent it by Canpar Ground from Ottawa to ... Red Deer, Whitehorse, Vancouver, Winnipeg, small town hicksville, etc. you get the idea.
The way they get online business is they pay to be the first search on search engines. When you search for flower delivery ( town) on search engines, Bloomex comes up. The fact that you searched for a florist means you don't know what florist is available in the town and you have no way of knowing that Bloomex is not a local florist. Bloomex will ship anywhere by cheapest method, Canpar Ground.
You would do better by going to your local grocery store, buying some flowers and ask them to pack it for shipping, walk over to the UPS or Purolator counter and shipping it yourself. It will be nicer and cheaper than anything you would get from Bloomex. Hey, anyone can start up an online florist using this " local grocery store" method. You would also end up with better flowers.
This is how there business works. I don't know how they stay in buisiness. Credit card companies should not allow them to be a merchant. With enough complaints, maybe the credit card company will cut them off. I would not be surprised if they sold credit card numbers they collect. It would be in keeping with there business model.
P.S. I called my credit card compnay to change my number after dealing with Bloomex. If I even think there might be a problem with them having my number, why leave myself open to be a victim again. Bloomex gets a failing grade.
Word of warning, they also started 1888flowers.ca same company, same policy

crooks.. fraud
Ordered flowers... Never arrived... Cannto get anyone to return my calls... Nobody but "order takers" go figure... Stay away, they are a fraud and they are scam artists... Thiefs... Crooks... Do not go any further with them as they will steal your money... Scam scam scam scam... Heed my warning

Bloomex is obviously trying to game the search engines by commenting on all the complaints against them, but unfortunately this only makes the comments easier to find. Bloomex service is terrible, and the fact that they are posting fake positive reviews makes it even more obvious they are a deliberate fraud and a scam.

late delivery
Same day service? I ordered Mother's Day flowers on Fri May 8. The order was confirmed on Sat morning. Sat evening I came home from work and found and email stating that the florist was out of stock and the flowers could not be delivered, so I ran out a got something else and arranged for my nephew to deliver since I would be at work. I tried contacting the company to make sure my order was canceled, but could not make contact. I find out on Mon Apr 11 (today) that the order is confirmed again and would be delivered tomorrow! I have left messages with no return call. I chatted with a rep on line who told me I cannot cancel...as I was writing my reply the session was canceled. I have sent another message via their live chat on skype and 3 hours later still have no response. I don't know about anyone else but I think Mother's Day flowers 2 days late is ludicrous! I don't know how to hold thi company to it's same day guarantee!

Bloomex does not have a call centre, sales people work from their homes, they are not bonded, hope you checked your prices because they probably caught you with the glitch which adds some more charges after you give your credit card..
Unfortunately its to late for you to realize that once Bloomex takes your money they don't care .. its all about the money ..
I left employment in Nov. 2008 and still have not been paid for a weeks wages for telling people the truth ...
Let your friends and family know about Bloomex. word of mouth .. best advertisment or the worst ...
Bloomex is an absolute joke. Their business practices are extremely frightening. They took directives from the recipient (which didn't know really what she was doing) as to how MY order was to be handled. They are now charging me a flower cancellation fee for flowers that were not sent by my order. They have taken directives from someone else then the creator of the order and I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Canada. I am also looking to file a formal complaint to authorities as I see this is definitely not the first case.
They treated me with little respect, and only once did I have the chance to speak to an actual customer representative. I asked to speak to her manager and she refused, saying that no manager was on site at the call centre.
I recommend never to use bloomex. An absolute joke and it must stop.
pjj disconnecting someone that is complaining is standard ... when a customer doesnt accept the fact that he is being ripped off you are disconnected ... Thats how Bloomex works ... I bet if you go back on line just for the heck of it and redo your order exactly the same way and before you give your credit info ... check the price bet you paid a little more .. its a glitch in they system has been there since last year .. sales operators are told to get your credit info before giving you a total so hopefully you won't notice ...
Welcome to the wonderful world of Bloomex Rip Offs
scammers
Here it is may and i'm still waiting for my final pay from bloomex.
The owner dimtri refuses to pay me because I told people the truth about the so called "glitch" in the system ripping each and every customer off. he also told me that if I wanted my pay I would have to tell customers I was pms'ing and this is the reason I told the truth, unfortunately I wasnt pms'ing I was simply fed up with the customers calling back and complaining about the order they placed and what they actually recieved. I know for fact that they rarely send what you order. i've been fortunate enough to order chocolates and flowers for my daughters birthday flowers werent what I chose and chocolates were alcoholic covered cherries instead of bottocili. apart from the fact that after you place your order and give your credit card # the price increases... glitch so they say.. but they don't want to give back the glitch money.. operators are told not to give the total till the final confirmation that it has gone threw, then most customers don't notice the difference... buyer beware
This is a typical Bloomex move ... I recieved this from Bloomex marketing in my mail this am $10 off Mother's Day Flowers if you order before May 4th, 2009
Of course today is May 4th, 2009 .
Buyer Beware of Bloomex read the policies, read the complaints about last Mothers Day ...
Saw an advertisement for a flower place called Pro Flowers.com they seem to have some great specials, Im going to check it out and let you know ...
Hopefully someday soon Bloomex will pay me my final pay ... for my last week of work ... more the Bloomex style to rip you off tho ... customers and staff...
If they owe you money for wages, and have not paid, contact the Ministry of Labour. It does not cost anything, and they will open a file and investigate your complaint. They are on the worker's side.
If you really want to an advocate, contact the Human rights board in Toronto with your complaint. If they mistreated you or made demands of you that violated your human rights, they might have to pay you your wages until the dispute is resolved. Never the less Bloomex will have to get an employment lawyer to defend the action. The human rights board will represent you for free. they are on your side. Tell the board the conditions you worked under and any disparaging remarks that the owner made to you and any threats they might have communicated to you to cause you andh "mental distress". There are alot of agencies to help you as a victim of an unfair employer - and it sounds like they are an unfair employer.
Gee... sound like I must be a really unsatisfied customer. Maybe they should have dealt with my complaint.
scammers crooks
Buyer Beware ----do yourself a favor and go back and read last years Mothers Day Disasters ... Not much has Changed same owner of company who doesnt pay employees if they tell the truth ... same owner with a glitch in the system that overcharges. Same owner having employees post comments when they aren't busy hanging up on unhappy customers ...
Same Same rip off company as last year !
Read the company policy and the complaints ...you be the judge then ask yourself if you are foolish enough to go ahead and order ..

order not delivered
I ordered a bunch of flowers and chocolates to be delivered to my sisters in Canada on the 27/05/09. It was supposed to be special and a surprise. I paid a premium for the delivery to take place on the morning of 27/5/09. The flowers and chocolates were not delivered. I try to contact the company to trace the order but received a pre recorded message. I am angry and upset at what this company has done. It is advertised as a reputable Canadian company which delivers flowers for special occassions. Based on that I placed my order with them. It is only after I had placed my order did I read the comments about the horrible service this company gives to their customers. They have taken my money, have not delivered the goods and have scammed me. If anyone in that company has any sense of conscience and decency they will not do this to people and shatter their occassions. I hope the Canadian trading standards get onto them .

floral arrangements
I ordered two funeral arrangements from bloomex on line. When I arrived at the viewing I was thunderstruck, I thought the flowers had not arrived. Upon closer examination of the floral arrangements displayed I saw the cards with our names on them in pitiful little arrangements, the cards looked out of place because the arrangements were small and sparse looking. They didnot resemble the web images in the least. They donot return phone calls once they have received your order and payment via credit card. We thought this company was legit because it was associated with the cancer society.ca I would exercise caution ordering from this company.

My mother was delighted with the flowers and said they are very beautiful, so I will certainly use your services again. Nancy
flowers not delivered as guaranteed
Flowers ordered on line were not delivered on time as per their advertized guarantee. When I attempted to contact the company to discuss the problem, no agent was available. They did however have an agent available to assist me should I wish to place another order ...?
I have left three messages and no one has returned my call.

buyer beware - rip off - fraud
Buyer beware, fraud, ordered a bouquet, they substituted for a cheaper less attractive arrangement. When i complained, the manager said it was in their substitution or replacement policy.
This is fraud - if a person orders something and it is replaced with an inferior product without the customer's permission.
They would not replace the arrangement, or give a refund.
It was a huge disappointment, and rip off.
How many other customers experience this same problem?
Pass the word around, this company should be x bloom.

See part of email I'm waiting to hear back from... Not impressed with bloomex ...
Hello I am not happy. I will break down below :
1) Order was requested to be delivered on Monday 21/2016 . The order was actually delivered on Saturday 19/2016, the recipient is not yet home from the hospital . I ordered Monday for a reason.
2)As you can see from my typed note it was for Pearl. Please see the attached note addressed to a Bill. Who is Bill?
3) I ordered a full size greeting card . please see the photo of the small card.
4) The flowers as ordered were to delivered in a gift box... They were indeed not delivered in a box.
5) Please see the photo of the ordered flowers and then the photo of the delivered flowers... Please explain.
6) The cookies... I ordered the 1lb fresh homemade chocolate chip in a decorative tin. Please see the attached pictures cookies delivered -
a) not chocolate chip
b) not homemade
c) not in decorative tin.
Absolutely nothing was correct in this order . What can I expect for this to be made right?
Very disapointed with Bloomex never delivered the fruit basket and flowers to my mom for Mothers Day. They ignore your calls they make you leave a message no one returns your call. All they say under investigation. Do not order from these people they take your money really fast but dont deliver.
Flowers are beautiful except I specifically purchased this because of the gift box, they came in celephane. I purchased the regular sized card and a balloon and they weren't delivered.
I DO NOT want to continually receive general ads in my email from Bloomex. Please stop them.

Bloomex, I'm suprised this company is still able to operate. They are not reputatable company whatsoever, BEWARE of the the SCAMS! I ordered a custom fruit basket for my daughter who was ill. It was delivered 2 days late and wasn't the fruit I selected. I have sent 3 e-mails, called 3 times and entered their online chat 3 times. I have received 1 phone call back but they left a message and now don't return my calls. The operator in online chat disconnected from me twice without saying goodbye, ie. hung up on me!
I have sent in a complaint to the Better Business Bureau but nothing back yet. I was on the phone to dispute the charge with my credit card company when Bloomex called which is why they left the message on my voicemail. I so wish I had checked here first.

poor customer service received wrong product and rotten produce
I ordered a fruit/flower/chocolate gift basket what I recieved was not at all like the description. Substituted a partially rotten pineapple for a pineapple, no grapes, no bananas no nectarines. Instead it had the chocolates, apples, oranges, kiwi a pear and a rotten cantelope...and cheese?
When I complained in emails and voicemails asking for my money back or a new delivery of the correct gift basket I was told that I was highly suspicious! As a nurse administrator and director of care for a highly reputable retirement home having charge of 60 seniors and over 50 staff ...I was highly suspicious.
I spoke to a customer service rep who told me the only supervisor above her was the boss and she said, " yah, I wouldn't hold my breath or anything as it is highly suspicious" She needed a photo of the gift basket and then they could send it out. I told her that the nurse who received the basket through the canteloupe in the garbage after salvaging what she could. The rep then said that is highly suspicious. ( I don't know about you but If I received a gift basket from my boss I wouldn't be prone to photograph the rotten produce and give it to her I would do just as she did and thank her then take it home and discard the rotten food.) She is polite the customer service rep. was anything but. I used this company happily on 2 previous and recent occassions I spent nearly $400 on the 3 occassions and yet over a rotten fruit I will apparently not "hold my breath."
I am disgusted and angry and hurt. Not for myself and losing $91 on a basket but because my attempt to thank a staff member for her extra efforts turned into a poor showing of gratitude.
I guess that I am satisfied in knowing that I will not send another rotten basket. I will purchase basket from local retailers or simply give money or gift cards. Thanks for your insults Bloomex I will get my $91 back in complaints on the internet and to the newspaper and to all the people in Ancaster, Hamilton and so on!

I ordered a gift basket for my mother for mother's day, I wanted the basket delivered on May 7th. It never came. I called the company and there was a recording saying that all deliveries will be delivered by Sunday May 8th. My mother waited all day Sunday it never came. Not only she wasted her whole weekend, she never got her Mother's Day Present.
I called the following morning to complain, the guy that answered was rude and could care less. He wanted to rush me off the phone so bad. Told me to file my complaint through email. would not let me talk to anyone at all! A few days later, I got an email from them saying that their records showed the basket was delivered and as a token of goodwill they are going to resend my mother her basket. This was May 12th. My mother saw that they left a voice mail at 5:07 pm, my mom was not home at the time, she called them back to reschedule and told them to deliver after 6pm.
Today she came home from work, saw that they attempted at 4pm. Is this company run by FOOLS? My mother called them right back and a guy answered telling my mom that he does not know where the basket is, and that he does not have it. He asked my mom if they could reschedule the delivery for Saturday may 14th or Monday May 16th.
This was supposed to be a Mother's day present.
this is not acceptable.
AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Subject: Re: Order Status Change: Your Order
Dear Sir,
Substituting a flower with a flower with higher value fair enough, substituting a chocolate with a chocolate with higher value also is fair enough but how can tea and coffee bags be equivalent to cookies and chocolate bars.
If what you say is to be taken, then as per your company policy you should have replaced a cookie with a cookie and a chocolate bar with another chocolate bar. this is ridiculous. You could might as well packed what you had at your store than fooling us with all those kind of options and then justifying your actions with a policy which is not at all justified.
You, the management or whoever concerned did not value the sentiments attached of the customer and sent what you had in hand. Then what was the point in taking time off, goin thru all the options given and ending up getting wht you did not want and what u did not pay for. Your policy does not say that you will substitute anything for anything. because that is exactly what you have done here. There was no coffee or tea products in my order..then how could they possibly be an equivalent substitute for anything in my order, as per your policies. You keep mentioning about similar prodect ..company policies, but you have violated your policies.I did not want any tea or coffee in my basket and so I saw to it that I didn order them.
This is not done. . And also if you have changed the status of my order you should have intimated me before shipping it as I place the order more than a week ago, and there was enough and more time to replenish your stock too if the item was out of stock. And why would you accept orders for articles which are out of stock more than 2 weeks. This is simply unacceptable.
I place 2 orders (one with 11 items which did not have tea or coffee in it)and another (one with belgium truffles)
I end up getting tea and coffee in the package and no sign of belgium truffles and above all no intimation that you have changed the face of my order and justifying it with a company policy which you have completely violated.I feel cheated.

With regards to my order, I have received notice from the recipient - Uxbridge receiver of the floral arrangement who tells me she was absolutely overwhelmed with the beautiful arrangement you prepared. I thank you so much. This was my first order with Bloomex and definitely not my last, your staff were extremely helpful, and courteous and the confirmation of delivery is very reassuring. Thank you again, Jo-Ann
customer service
You people who made good reports must be working for the company! They are slackest, most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Just try and get some customer service after your order has been placed - it's next to impossible. You cannot speak to a live person. I asked for the simplest change in an order and it was like I asked them to split the atom.
The guy who was supposed to call me back called me back after hours of trying to reach him and was obnoxious and rude. Never will I use these guys again!
I will go with Tidy Flowers next time.

bad service and product
My Brother -in- law died Christmas day. With it being a bad time I figured I would get flowers delivered. I decided to try on-line. What a mistake. I was embarrassed and humiliated. Not only were they nothing like the picture they have on the website, but half were dead or almost there. I have to say I got a very nice gentleman helping me and he offered a replacement but it was too late. My brother-in-law was being buried in two hours! So he offered me a full credit for the full amount. I gladly took it. Well again I thought I could trust them. Nope. I ordered a gift basket. It was to say sorry to my sister and I made a custom order for the total credit. What a sham! 7 items that were small or just one cookie or handful of jelly beans! It is a scam! If you think your getting something good forget it. Do NOT believe the pictures! Never will I ever trust on-line products from anything. I'm done.

scammed
On Dec.18, I ordered by phone for an arrangement to be sent to Stony Plain, Ab to my son and his wife for their Christmas party from Bloomex. I paid by credit card. It was to be delivered on the 19th or 20th. I went out of town and when I arrived back in Keswick, I checked with my son to see if it had arrived. That was Dec.23. That afternoon, my daughter in law found a box of candy left on her front porch delivered by Canpar for Bloomex with the message I had asked to be put on the flowers and stating it was to be delivered the 19th or 20th. So we had the wrong product delivered on the wrong date. I fired off an email to the company and got a form email back saying the status of my order had been changed. However, nothing was changed. So today, after 2 or 3 more emails trying to get my money refunded and told that I would have to pay a $9.99 pickup fee and return the original product, I left a message that I wanted to talk to a person. Lana from the investigation department held firm that all I had experienced was covered in the company policies. I asked to speak to a manager and she told me the only person higher than her was the owner. When I inguired about his name, I was told she was only allowed to give his first name Dimitri which she was unable to spell for me!
So not wanting to have to take medication for high blood pressure, I will arrange a pickup time for their erroneous product to be picked up and give consent for the $9.99 fee. How can such a company be allowed to stay in business? I guess as long as there are saps like me who trust others to be honest!

We ordered flowers and chocolates, Hedghog chocolates. That was fine. We paid on Visa. The delivery came and they substituted Alcohol chocolate covered Cherries. My wife has cancer and is taking chemo therapy. She cannot have alcolhol. And anyway, no where on the order form did they have that chocolate. She wanted the ones we ordered and had been so angry, we don't even know anyone to give them to that she threw them away, what would you have done in this situation I ask, and so we sent an email and got no satisfaction for the order yet. If they are going to switch an order they should call and get permission first, in case of allergies too. Maybe they will read this and do the right thing for my wife. She is still pissed and will not let me order through Bloomex again. Her mother in law got hers correctly from them.
Where are the flowers? I gave specific instructions when paying, to phone first, as my mother lives in an apartment. The delivery people who presumably are sub-contracted to deliver, never received her phone number or this instruction. I left numerous phone messages (customer service with no one answering!) to cancel the order when it hadn't arrived. Now, she is supposedly getting them tomorrow. After two days of sitting in a box in some warehouse. CRAP customer service (non-existant). LISTEN TO THE OTHERS! BEWARE!
The product arrived promptly on the day promised, a very large box that was uncommonly light. The contents was nicely packaged with ribbons and arranged in a basket. The contents was most disappointing, it consisted of packages of individual items, of unknown brands, of obscure manufacture. Three small pieces of unrefined fudge, three stale truffles, two very tiny pieces of biscotti, about 20 jelly beans, a number one-ounce boxes of crackers, and a container of cheese whiz masquerating as a brie spread. Each of the items reminded me of snacks passed out in an airplane, in an airline on hard times.
Since it was a gift to me, I find it difficult to be honest with the giver of this who probably was impressed by the website. My company, however, uses services like bloomex claims to be, but I consider myself fortunate to have sampled the product before using the service. I don't expect this company to be around very long, and anyone who is a shareholder should try to unload as quickly as they can.
I ordered, over the phone, 2 bouquets from BloomEx on May 5th, 2017 for delivery on May 6th, 2017. I spent 20 minutes detailing addresses, bouquet types, and delivery times. Bloomex made a mistake with the addresses. One was correct and the second was a repeat of the first, basically they only entered one of the addresses I gave them, not both. They say they delivered bouquet A to the apartment complex on May 6th, 2017 but as no one answered the door they left the bouquet outside at the front door of the apartment building for anyone to take...which someone did as recipient A never got her flowers. I called customer service 3 times never once getting anything but an automated message system. I left three messages voicing my concern. I got a reply back three days after the day that bouquets A and B were supposed to be delivered. They claimed that I never gave them a second address (for bouquet B) and gave me a refund for bouquet A which was probably stolen. This was on May 10th, 2017. At this point I had not been charged for bouquet B.
Also on May 10th, 2017 I received another email from BloomEx saying they had delivered Bouquet B (to the address they claim I never gave them) a bouquet was delivered to recipient B but it was not the bouquet that I ordered nor was it delivered on the right day. I called twice and left messages with customer service (as again, there were no agents available) and finally got so frustrated that I called the sales line and spoke to a woman there. She understood my concerns although there was nothing she could do but leave a note for a manager to call me back, she said that it probably wouldn't be a problem to get a refund on the order and I believed her.
THEN, just yesterday, May 16th, 2017 (10 days after the original order was supposed to be delivered) I got an email from BloomEx saying that they were going to RESEND a potted plant (again, not what I ordered) to the address that they claim I never provided. I left one voice message at customer service and finally wrote an email saying that I did not want the flowers sent, that I wanted a refund as the delivery is 10 days late and not what I ordered. I received an email this morning telling me that the order was DELIVERED. I phoned recipient B to ask if she had received flowers. She said no but that she did get a call at 9:30pm the night before from a BloomEx driver asking her if she was home for a delivery. She said yes, unfortunately, the address (again, the one they claimed I never gave them) was recipient B's office not her home. She received a call from the driver 15 minutes later yelling at her for not being at the address he had. I immediately phoned the customer service line this morning, May 17th, 2017, as per usual no one was available to take my call. I called the sales line and they left a message on my file for a manager to call me. A manager called me promptly. After explaining the entire situation and stating that I wanted a refund, the manager refused. She called me a liar when I pressed her about the driver's gall at yelling at recipient B : "our drivers don't do that", when I questioned her about the ethics of delivery 10 days late for something I never actually ordered and charging my VISA for it without my knowledge/consent she said that they were allowed to do it. oday is May 17th and a cheap looking half dead flower (yes…one flower) was delivered to recipient B, the flower was not the arrangement I ordered NOR was it in the glass vase that I also ordered. BloomEx refuses to give me a refund or even an apology for the treatment that I and recipient B have been subject to.
I own my own business (I am not a florist so I have no professional grudge against BloomEx as they would obviously like you to believe), and I would be embarrassed if I ever treated ANY customer with such rudeness. Shame on you BloomEx!
I live in the UK and when my family in Canada were celebrating together I chose a beautiful arrangement from Bloomex's website for delivery to the home for the occasion. What was delivered was a very poor bunch of flowers that were not arranged and probably purchased from the Special aisle of the local store.
I complained and the company promised to send a replacement arrangement. This was barely acceptable as the event had been missed, but when my mother was hospitalised I asked for flowers to be delivered and this was ignored.
Given the number of complaints regarding this company, Bloomex, consumers should be protected!
My boyfriend paid nearly $100 dollars to have Bloomex deliver flowers, chocolates and a card on Valentine's Day. The items arrived with a card addressed "I love you Jaqueline", no chocolates and my name is Sonya. Rather than refund the error, they have offered to refund the truffles only. No apology. A refund of $14.95 on an order that totalled $100. They claim the bouquet that was delivered was mine. Really? You gave the wrong card, no truffles, but the flowers were mine?
Ordered flowers for my friend's 65th birthday. The flowers arrived almost dead with a couple of roses missing. They also promised iris in the bouquet and that wasn't there as well. Bloomex has the worst customer service. They provide several phone numbers on their site which seems to go to voicemail. I called several times and was unable to speak to a live person. I left messages and no one returned my call. I also sent email but yet to receive a response.
I am disputing some of the charges with my credit card company. You are guaranteed disappointment by ordering from this company.

My sister send flowers to me in Ontario from Arizona. When I receive flowers I take a photo, send to the purchaser with a thank you. In this case what she chose to send was not what was received. It was supposed to contain many carnations among other flowers. What was received had not one carnation but many mums. Florists seem to be substituting less expensive arrangements than what is being paid for. I do not like to hear that people get ripped off in this manner. With today's technology it is easy to share what was purchased with the click of a button. Florists, as in this case, seem to forget that. Although the goal was achieved in surprising me etc. and making me happy, the point is the substitution.
I placed an order for flowers to be delivered 4 days in advance. 2 days after the scheduled delivery date - no flowers, no refund, no calls from their customer service and the only option is to leave a voice mail! Oddly enough a human is ALWAYS available to take new orders! Avoid this company at all cost!
Time after time, Bloomex has provided bad service, with no apology. I live in the UK and found their ordering process easier than other florists, which is why I kept using them, but their failure to deliver my Mother's Day with out apology or explanation is the last straw and I will never use them again. I even lost money, as because of a fluctuating exchange rate, I was refunded less money than I paid! I think Bloomex should refund the difference (plus some, to make up for the mistake!) but they refuse to take responsibility. We had frozen flowers, flowers delivered on the wrong day, and orders changed without checking with us first. I strongly advise giving Bloomex a miss, unless you enjoy losing money and feeling extremely frustrated!

This is horrible! They never delivered our flowers either, but at least it was for birthday occasion. But funeral? come on!
