Blooms Rewards / Blooms Today / Flashfirst unknown charges

I purchased flowers online for the death of my brothers mother-in-law. I kept seeing a 9.99 charge in my statement. I had just canceled an account that was the same charge, so i thought that was it. The other company insisted they canceled my account. I finally got a # to where theses charges were coming from. It was from when i purchased flowers on line. This is ridiculous! The 9.99 charge is coming from a company called BloomRewards. Im wondering now, if i can get my money back! Sincerely, RIPPED OFF

I would just like to add my complaint to the myriad of complaints already here. You don't ask for it, you actually decline it and you still get it- that's Blooms Rewards. And if you don't catch it on your charge bill it can go and on. I am sure there are laws against this kind of behavior and on Monday I will be making the appropriate phone calls and writing the appropriate letters.

I ordered flowers and used my visa card. Didn't really pay attention to my bank statement until the 2nd month I noticed this charge of $9.95 coming out of my account! I immediately called Customer Service to discontinue my membership and advised them of the scam...Very disappointed! I will never use Bloom again!

I ordered flowers once, and i'm now being charged monthly on my credit card for a plan I never authorized. $9.95/ mo. This is criminal. How can the State of Virginia allow this to persist. I know mine isn't the only case like this, I see the same complaints on this site, from many others.

I thought I had a really nice little deal with Blooms and sent my sister a lovely bouquet to the hospital. The bill was twice as much as I agreed to AND I am signed up for a monthly bill of almost $10 for NOTHING. I'm so angry at the misrepresentation. I also can't find a phone number to call to find out how to remedy this situation.

I Am another person that is being charged for nothing $9.99.. This Has to stop,
why isnt anyone doing anything about this company. I also ordered Flowers for my 94 year old grandmothers birthday they offered me the promotion for 50 percent off any thing I buy at many different stores. I figured that would be great
since christmas is coming. They told me they would send me info, on all the different places i could shop at but they didnt. when I went to the website to join they wanted me to pay again. I have been charged three times already and still have no email or brocher that they said they would send.. I called to cancel and they told me that they have not been charging my acc. Stay away from this company it is a big SCAM..something should be done about this!

Same thing happened to me.. total charge shown on internet was $50 less that what was charged to my card...then I discover $9.99 membership fees being charged! No one would ever send flowers this often to have a membership..what a crock!
Lady stated that due the circumstances at the time (death) that she could understand why I overlooked this...BullS**#!
She would credit back my membership fees but could not give me the first $9.99 back or i would be charged for the full amount (the $50.00 discount)...these people need to be fried!

I ordered Blooms Today flowers for a funeral arrangement on 4/21/10 online through their website that stated if you join for $9.95 you get your first order 50% off. I submitted my order with a debit card and my B looms Today order total confirmation was for a charge of $48.73 which represented 50% of flower list price plus tax and delivery.

My account got debited for $78.73 (full amount) plus the $4.95 membership fee as separate debit.

I complained to Blooms Today and they said "they just fill flower orders...that I need to contact Blooms Rewards (a separate company?) for questions on charges. They said that I should have gotten a credit to my account for the 50% discount. Not happening. Have been unable to get a call back from Blooms Rewards and still no credit for 50% discount. Web page stated it would be an automatic 50% off?!

Blooms Rewards / Blooms Today / Flashfirst cancelling unauthorized &membership&

I have been fighting with this company for 3 months, trying to get them to STOP deducting $9.95 per month from my charge card for an account I not only did NOT authorize, but was immediately reported to them as unauthorized. I was assured upon the first call that I would not be charged, they made a note that the account was not authorized, and said there would not only be a refund of any charges but there would be not further charges. I have called several times since that first call and have been given the run-around, sent to voicemail that "assures me my concerns will be handled", and passed back & forth to numerous people, none of which can seem to help me. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE SCAM ARTISTS!

Blooms Rewards / Blooms Today / Flashfirst unauthorized membership in this club

I ordered flowers from this company last summer and was, apparently, "automatically" signed up for this "rewards" program. I've noticed a debit from my account each month since then for $9.95 but it took me until today to find out who was behind the charges. I never received any membership packet or email nor was I informed that I was a "member" in this "discount" program.

I spoke with a customer service rep today and she cancelled my membership. . .after I'd spent 7 minutes on hold having to listen to sales pitches from Blooms before I got through to anyone.

This method of recruiting members for this "rewards" program is shady at best and unethical/illegal at worst. Be certain that, before you buy flowers from this company on line, you understand what you're doing in order to get that initial "discount, " and that you'll be paying $9.95 a month to be a member in a program that really offers no rewards for anyone except the company auto-billing your credit card each month.

Blooms Rewards / Blooms Today / Flashfirst providing poor customer service

I had a very challenging and over whelming experience with your company. I placed an order on Sept. 15. 11:00 Am. My order number was 9639840. It w as for a funeral. Unfortunately apparently the florist in Spokane had a family emergency and was not able to deliver my order. Some one named Ashley called me at 8:23 Am on Sept. 16 and did not respond when I answered my phone. She again tried at 9:29 and left me a message saying that she cancelled my order. When I received the information and contacted your company it was 1:30. I asked to speak to a supervisor. Ashley did not say she or any one was sorry for the inconvenience; she did not attempt to make the delivery that day or try to honor my request for a floral shipment. I called the company back and spoke with another customer rep. I had asked for Ashley’s supervisor. Tammy did not return my call until 3:30pm. At that time she told me it was too late to re-order as most florists were already out on their routes. She did apologize for the sadness it brought to my heart as this was for my mother-in-law but did not attempt to have the delivery made. I had asked her about the add in the phone book and she said all she would do was give me a discount if I chose to have the delivery made for the next day. The next day was a day too late. I have never had a florist cancel an order because they were not able to deliver on the same day. I understand that it is your policy {which by the way totally sucks and caused me and my extended family a lot of grief} if they had to wait and deliver the next day. I can’t for the life of me figure out why you would do this to any customer. When there is a funeral there are no do over’s! What totally baffles me is this company’s lack of concern or compassion for their customers. I can’t believe in this economy that you can really afford to cancel orders. It would have been to your benefit financially and my on a personal level to deliver the order the following morning. I do hope in the future you will train your employees to be more compassionate and go that extra mile to assist when there is a complication. As for me I will not use this company for any future orders as your customer service does not meet the standard. I would appreciate it if you could please pass this on to your CEO at your next board meeting. Sincerely, Marguerite Sigrist

I ordered flowers on a 9/15/12 from the website and paid the extra 5.99 for delivery by 1PM on 9/17/12. On 9/16/12, I looked at my checking account and realized that they had double charged me. I called immediately and reported this, they said I would receive a credit. (as of today9/20/12 I have). My real issue with them is that the order was not able to be fulfilled and I was not notified until after the delivery time of 1PM on 9/17/12 and was told that my order had been cancelled. They did not offer to do a replace/nor give me enough notice in order for me to pick something else for delivery by 1PM on 9/17/12. I also had my parents sitting at home waiting on this delivery. I think this is very inconsiderate of this company to not let you know ASAP that the delivery can not be fulfilled. I will never order from this company again.

Blooms Rewards / Blooms Today / Flashfirst cancel membership

I ve been trying to cancel my bloomsrewards membership due to failure to deliver flowers. The delivery never got there and we went to the flower store and they said there was no delivery for that costumer. The charges keep coming out (9.95) a month. I need them to cancel my membership now or I will have to get my lawyer involved.

I guess I'm in for a hard time with this business. Back in April I ordered flowers from "Blooms Today" - flowers came, ok. I was charged the $47.00 on my CC and also a charge of $9.99. I thought I misunderstood her and this was a charge for the extra work they had to go through to delivered the flowers. The address was incorrect.

LADY ASKED ME ABOUT THIS MEMBERSHIP THING. TOLD HER I WAS AN OLDER MAN AND USUALLY DIDN'T SEND FLOWERS AND WAS NOT AT ALL INTERESTED IN A MEMBERSHIP TO ANYTHING.

Now today, I went to my checking account and YES there is another charge of $9.99 pending.

OF COURSE IT'S SATURDAY AND THEY ARE CLOSED. I'LL START MONDAY ON MY NEW PROJECT.

That's my story; what's yours?

Blooms Rewards / Blooms Today / Flashfirst refund of fees

I purchased flowers for a funeral online over a year ago. To get the discounted price you had to sign up for a membership to blooms reward. I called to cancel a couple of months later to no avail. Last month going over my old bank statements I noticed that I was still being charged 9.95 a month so I called again I was told that there was nothing in the system about my cancellation. I wanted to speak with a supervisor. So that I could be refunded the fees that had been paid. I never used the service at all. Tuesday I received an overdraft statement from my bank. They took out fees again! I just got off the phone with them and the supervisor said that there was nothing in the system about me canceling only that I wanted a supervisor to call me. Which she claim that she did. I never got a message. or a call back. And she said she could only refund me 2 months. And not my $30 overdraft fee! These companies should not be allowed to get away with this !

Blooms Rewards / Blooms Today / Flashfirst unauthorized charges

I ordered flowers to be delivered. I have been noticing this 9.95 taken out of my account for the past three months so I called. The customer service representative stated that I signed up for the program when I ordered the flowers. I indicated to her that there was no box to check and that there wasn't a clause warning the buyer. She then indicated to me that you are automatically signed up when you elect to take the $30.00 discount. That isn't a discount, it is a rip off. I ordered the account be closed and to stop taking the funds out of my account. I further informed her that if I was one more dollar taken out of my account on this I would report them to the proper authorities. She stated she would close the account.

I called [protected] today to cancel the 9.95 monthly charges. The conversation was unpleasant, but not overly rude. I did not get a refund, but should have the charge discontinued.

While I am willing to take responsibilityfor not seeing these charges sooner, I am disgusted by the tactics used by this company. I bought flowers for a close friends' funeral and in order to have thrm delivered on time, I clicked whatever buttons came on the screen. How awful of 1-800-flowers to take advantage of people. I will never order from them again and will be sure that friends, family, and coworkers know that they are not a reputable business. Shame on you 1800-flowers.

I ordered flowers for my sisters B-day on May 8, 2009. I received an email stating flowers would be delivered on 5/9/2009. I never received a call from my sister about the flowers so I called her. She said she never received the flowers. On May 11, I called bloomstoday customer service number on the bottom of the email and complained about the flowers not being delivered and I was not notified, they refunded my original money for the flowers. I also requested to have my membership from their FAKE rewards program canceled. I was told by the gentlemen I spoke to that my membership was canceled. After checking my bankstatement I notieced the $9.95 charge for August, I called bloomsrewards and spoke to a very uncooperative CSR named Katherine and explained my membership had been canceled and I wanted refunds for the last 3 months of charges. Katherine told me my membership was never canceled and that there are only 3 people in the office that can cancel it and all of them are women, she would refund Aug payment to me but to bad so sad for the rest of my money. She also would not give me name of her supervisor but willhave someone call me back w/in 24 hrs. She was rude and very unwilling to assist me other than to say the same thing over and over again like a robot then hung up on me when I would not take her excuse of not knowing the supervisors name.

I too have been scammed by Bloomsrewards program. They have been charging my account for months without my consent and have put me into ovedraft several times, taking more money from my account until the bank notified me and told me my account was in jeopardy because of all the overdraft charges. I now am fighting with them to replace all my charges to no avail and am working with my bank to keep a clean account. There needs to be recourse taken on Blooms Rewards.

Blooms Rewards / Blooms Today / Flashfirst charging my credit card even after I cancelled the scam enrollment I supossedly signed up for

I purchased flowers online for a grieving friend from this company. They then charged my credit card 9.95 twice a month for about 5 months. I finally realized it and called them. "Sorry, no refunds" was the reply stating that i signed up for this shopping program when i bought the flowers. I was very angry, told them to cancel any further charges and basically forgot about it. Its been 4 months now and they are still charging me and i call and they say they are not charging me. I send prof that they are...still no response from the lady named Crystal from the company. This is a complete and utter scam. NEVER BUY FLOWERS OR ANYTHING FROM BLOOMS TODAY!

Blooms Rewards / Blooms Today / Flashfirst unauthorized debit

I cancelled my membership on 4/27/09 but Blooms Rewards still charged by debit card the $9.95 fee. Having just lost my job and being a single mom of 3 kids I was cutting it really close in my bank account so them doing this caused my bank account to charge me an add'l $32 overdraft fee that I surely can't afford. When I called to complain to this "company" they said that this particular day just happened to be the cut-off date for my billing cycle and that they were within their right to run my card and basically told me that there's nothing that can be done. What kind of business puts a debit thru on the day the membership is cancelled? What a crock and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Blooms Rewards / Blooms Today / Flashfirst unauthorized enrollment in a 10$ monthly fee plan

I ordered flowers online for a funeral. The flowers were discounted and I was insidiously lured into signing up for a 10$ monthly plan to receive the "special" discount. The information was not laid out clearly and I received NO follow up emails confirming my participation in this program. My bank account was debited each month for 9.95$. Regrettably, I did not catch this for 4 months (total of $39.80 was taken from my account), which has taught me to view my bank statement monthly.

Once I called, I was told that I should have read all the fine print. The women, who helped me, named Jody and Catherine, were condescending in their manner and acted as if I was undedicated. I had to call 5 times to get out of the program and was told that I would not be refunded, yet the website states that refunds are possible (100% satisfaction). The whole ordeal was a very poor experience and with so many online competitors - I suggest you look somewhere else when needing flowers etc. Buyer Beware.

When I asked who was the CEO of Blooms Rewards, I was told her name was Kimberly, but even if I wrote, my letter would not be given to her. Please.

I'm dealing with them right now but I caught it after the first $9.95 charge to my account.

I recommend no one use their services until they make it painfully obvious on their website that people will be charged an asinine fee that no one in their right minds would consider worth it.

Blooms Rewards / Blooms Today / Flashfirst complaint letter sent

I don't even know where to start, but let me tell you I will NEVER be ordering flowers from your company again. I placed an order with Bloomstoday at 12:45pm on 11/20 and as of 11:15am this morning, the local florist you told me would be handling my order, Finishing Touch, had still not received the order. The first time I called your company this morning, after I found out Finishing Touch had not received the order, I was told the order was "probably" placed with another florist and someone from Bloomstoday would be calling me back to let me know the name and number of the florist. Two hours later, after no one had called me back, I called Bloomstoday again, and was told they would check on the order and then email me the name and number of the florist used. Again, I waited and no email, so I called Bloomstoday yet a third time and was told the order had been placed late morning with Finishing Touch, whom I called again and they couldn't even tell me if they had received the order. The 1:00pm expedited delivery time, which I had paid extra for, had long passed. Finally, I got a return call from Finishing Touch telling me the flowers had been delivered, but they could not tell me what time they were delivered. My daughter called me at 5:00pm, thanking me for the flowers and informed me they had been delivered around 3:30pm. I get an email (see below) from Bloomstoday at 5:45pm confirming the delivery. This was over six hours after I had originally started calling to check on the order/delivery.

I saw the flowers my daughter received and they were pretty, but if that was the premium arrangement, I would hate to see the standard. There were maybe 6 - 8 blooms and the whole arrangement was no more than 18 inches tall, including the vase. I was shocked to see how little my $60 was able to purchase. I could have picked up a much nicer arrangement for about $25 from Kroger. I paid a total of $83.97 for a sub-par flower arrangement and terrible customer service.

In today's economy, one would think a non-essential product company, like a florist, would be bending over backwards to give outstanding service, but that is obviously not the case in this case. I expect my fee of $5.99 for expedited delivery be refunded immediately and if I can find a website that rates online florists, trust me, I will be leaving very negative feedback for your company.

I very much agree with the above letter. The flowers we sent to a funeral home were nothing spectacular. There was only one rose with a few carnations. I could have faired better @ the local grocery store! I was a little embarrassed and I got conned out of $60.00! I was initially excited that this would save me time and money but I sure have learned a lesson.
I can't figure how a company like this can take your money like this...

Blooms Rewards / Blooms Today / Flashfirst unauthorised charges on my credit card

I ordered flowers to be sent to my mother and sister who live in usa I like in the uk. I have noticed the strange monthly charge on my credit card and it turns out this company have been charging me $9.95 per month for absolutely nothing. There isw nothing on their order details to say that a one off purchase will accrue a longstanding debt, Carole Charles.

I made a purchase in April 2008 and Blooms reward has been charging my debit card every month for $9.95 . I emailed them to tell them to unsubscribe me ( I didn't know that they automatically subscribe, or I never would have purchased flowers) and their still taking the money out.

Blooms Rewards / Blooms Today / Flashfirst membership not requested

I sent flowers through the internet and did not realize that I was also applying for a charge of $9.95 per month to my credit card. I have not used this service other than the flower order in March. I want these charges stopped and credit issued for 6 months, $59.70, which includes September. Charges have always appeared on or about the 2nd of each month. I have not been able to find any other means of contacting this company.

I used this online flower company last June to send flowers to my granddaughter. I do remember setting up a user name and password but I didn't read the small print.

I just reviewed my credit card bills and found that the company has been charging me $9.95 each month since June. When I called them today to find out why they were doing this, I was told that I had agreed to it when I set up my user name and password.

If I had realized that, I would have never setup the user name and password. There is absolutely no benefit to me to have this charge every month.

I consider this to be a scam, ripoff, and purely a trick to get people to unknowingly, get signed on to a monthly charge - for nothing that would be of benefit.

They did cancel the account but refused to process a refund.

I to was charged this fee from Bloomsrwrd 18oo-371-6048 which started back in Oct 2010 I was charged $ 9.99 and the again in Nov, Dec, Jan, and Feb I was Charged on the 3rd and the 6th for ths same amounts, I did contact my credit card company and filed a fraud on this, While talking to my credit card company we did a three way calling and this company said I did this on line, I told them I do not do flowers, but they said I did it, well I called my Atty. generals office in Michigan and now filling a complaint with them also. Furthermore duing this time of Oct, I was in NY City and when I came back, my brother was in the hospital ICU dying, so I know for a fact I did not do this Reward thing or order any flowers period! on line. Also why did they charge me Jan 15, Feb 3 and Feb 6th for $ 9.99, Oh yes I forgot this Credit account was closed on Feb 3rd per my request after paying off my bill before I relized that I was being charged for this on my card, I've learned a very hard lesson always check your Bill, thank goodness, my credit card company will go back 120 days on fraud.

Canceling is actually pretty easy. Thought they were going to be a hassle but as long as you call in the business hours they dont seem to get many calls because it is so hard to find there number. Thank you MarkhamB for posting this number for all of us that have been hit by them.

I found a phone number on their website and after listening to their "hold" message, they have a direct line to cancel their reward program: [protected]. Of course their hours are 8a-5p ET so I was not able to reach anyone today, but will try again monday.

The same thing just happened to me... 4 mos of billing to my account and no chance for a refund.
They told me that I signed up for their rewards program when I bought flowers on-line. Never again!
This is a total rip-off. I have reported them to my bank to try to get my money back.
Here is their customer service number in case you find yourself in the same situation: [protected]

I have been reading this complaint board with interest since I also have been the subject of Blooms.com ongoing charges for a rewards program I never heard from. When I discovered the monthly charges I called to cancel my so-called membership. I was informed that there were two memberships in my name with my credit card. I requested cancellation of any/all accounts. I received notification that the account was closed. One month later I noticed a new charge of $9.95. When I called to inquire I was told that the "old" account had never been closed and that I owed for many back months membership. I there any legal way to get out of their clutches? I am fuming!

Totally a scam! There are no rewards...just repeated charges of $9.95 per month for nothing. This hoax should be stopped. I have submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau.
