customer service
I call Blue World Pools to check about things that I need to do to my pool water and I am transferred to Jim Harris. I try to be nice since I have had extreme problems with my Blue World Pool. Jim Harris was very rude to me! I didn't get much help at all from Jim Harris except to be belittled by him and to be told that I need to get a complete water sample done and he will TRY to help me. TRY to help me? I was just told by the finance dept that even if I pay my pool off, that I will still receive their help with my pool for as long as I own it! Jim Harris owes me an apology! I have to pay for my pool but I do not have to refer anyone to them.

I love our new pool! From the time the installers came (who were great) to the time it was all finished. It was a wonderful experience. Our family and friends come over and enjoy our new pool all the time. Anytime I've had any questions they have always made time for me and have been so kind and polite in doing so. They have made it a joy to be a pool owner again. Thank you.

We bought a pool from Blue World Pools and we enjoyed every aspect of buying and owning a pool fom this company. They have answered the questions we have had when we call them. The installer was wonderful. Also the process went very quick we had our pool within a couple of weeks. They also call us to make sure everything if ok with our pool and if we are happy. to sum it all up WE LOVE OUR POOL!
I love my Blue World Pool. They came out, set it up and got me started. My family has had great fun in our pool this summer!-- Jennifer Bottenfield
I have no complaint with Blue World Pools! They have been extemely helpful and easy to work with. They have great customer service and are always avaiable to speak with.
Our Blue World pool has been very easy to keep clean. Once the water is balanced all we have to do is pour in 1 bottle of Chorax a week. The water stays nice and sparkling looking. It also feels good to swim in. The company has been easy to work with, and they stand behind their product. They also call to check on how everything is going with the pool. We love out Blue World Pool!
So...people love their Blue World Pools so much that there are 10 entires to that effect on this site in one week? Liars. All that's gonna do is make people look at other sites to see who you screwed and how it was done. Dopes.
terrible finance dept. customer service
I financed a pool through Blue World Pools in 2010. My complaint is specifically against Blue World Pools Finance Dept. (770-951-1831, ext 9 - Eugene Johnson and Kathleen, dept. manager). Eugene Johnson, who I dealt with primary until I stated I would not deal with him again, is very rude and unprofessional; he definitely isn't customer service oriented and give Blue's a bad name. I could only hope the owner will read this. I was refinancing my home in Aug 2012 and due to Eugene's lack of concern, time management and sense of urgency because he felt it wasn't his "problem", even though he is getting paid to perform his customer service job, which is doesn't seem to perform well, I lost time and hundreds of dollars. My refi company sent Eugene, through e-mail, my subordination package to complete and then send to Kathleen, whom I was told was the financed dept. manager, or to whom it should have gone to next for final approval in a timely, responsible, professional business fashion, which did not happen. On Aug 7, 2012 I called Eugene J. to inform him that my refi company was sending him, through e-mail, on the same day- Aug 7, my subordination package and to please be on the look out for it because it was TIME SENSITIVE. Because Blue World requires it's customers to sign a lien on their property over to Blue World this was required by my refi company. He assured me he would, this didn't happen. Eugene sat on my time paperwork which was actually sent on the seventh, for 14 DAYS! I had to involve another dept. the service dept. to help me resolve this situation. I do have to give a VERY sincere Thank you to Jim Harris in the service dept. for giving a damn about my concern and situation as a Blue World customer. Kudos to all those in the service dept. they all deserve a bonus, if not a raise; due to them I'm not giving Blue a terrible customer service rating. I'm writing this review just to inform current customers and would be customer to be cautious with dealing with the finance dept, because after they receive your money, they don't seem interested in you anymore and aren't helpful AT All. They are Down Right Rude. As for the pool itself, I have been happy with it, even though I believe I paid an exorbitant amount for it. You can get a nice above ground pool for less money, same quality, Shop Around!
inferior product
We have just finished replacing the liner for the second time in our blue world pool. We purchased a 15, 000 pool, upgraded, in 2006. This company put down sand for the foundation. It is 1/2 inch to 2 inches in different places. There are rocks and debris coming up through the liner. It looks like a desert with potholes.
The heavy gauge metal installed is "tin" and it is rusting in several places. The chemical free pool has cost an average of 1000.00 per year.
This company will put a lien on your property without your consent. I contacted the attorney general and blue world can no longer sell in our state, as well as several others. I am still out a lot of money with no recourse. Do not buy from this company! They are a ripoff.
We will prpbably have to buy another pool befor this one is even paid for. At least they can't deceive any more people in arkansas.
I would gladly join a class action against this company.

poor customer service
Bought a complete above ground pool with the salt water filter system, after 3 days the ground fault plug on the filter went defective, could not test or reset it. Packed it carefully and returned it to them with proof of purchase and explanation as to the problem with it and asked for a replacement as we could not use the pool without it. After 20 days they simply tossed it into an unpadded envelope and returned it to me. It does not work, it is exactly the same plug, they took it apart as the screws are now halfway out where it is held together, they sent no comment or explanation as to its return to me. I called them 5 times today, 3 of those times as soon as I started telling them the problem they hung up on me, one time they hung up before I spoke and the last time I was connected to someones voicemail, I left my name and phone number clearly twice yet no return call. It also seems few people at the company speak legible english nor do they care to try and understand it. Do not but intex products, if you have a problem you are on your own, they wont help and more than likely will just hang up on you
unprofessional
After a Google search for above ground pool installation, I filled out a contact form on Blue World Pool's website around noon on a Sunday. I was busy around the house and in the yard, and I was surprised to find 8 missed calls around 6pm. I received 4 more calls that evening, the last received at quarter till ten. On Monday, I answered the call to be greeted by a recording asking me to hold for a representative. After holding for a few minutes, I was asked to leave a message. Several hours later I received yet another call (the 16th in less than 24-hours) from a real person. I began to explain what had happened when I realized she had hung up on me! If this is the experience one can expect before ever speaking with someone, it's probably best to do with a pool!

bad way to do business
Ok, first off, I knew 299.00 was too good to be true. I asked the salesperson before he came out what was the catch? He said none..blah blah..ok then he gets out to the house and DOGS the product he supposed came to sell me. Tells me about fires and cancer etc... Then wants to sell me a 22, 000 dollar pool at about 29.99% interest. 457 a month over 12 years...that's roughly 65, 808 dollars. Insult to my intelligence. The guy was sorta scary and mean when I told him I wasn't gonna sign up immediatley. I haven't seen this bulls++t scam in years. STAY AWAY! Salesman wasn't even good at his hustle! And the topper, when it was said and done they were willing to sell the pool for a mere 9, 900. LOL ###ed ### people. Just present a product at a fair price and then provide ongoing products to maintain customer loyality. I mean for real...if I could afford 22, 000 for a pool, why would I inquire about a 300 dollar pool? There is no logic. What the hell was I thinking?
scammed
BWP is a toal rip off! As stated above if they see your not going to pay the $20, 000+ for there pools then they get on the phone and call Atlanta and get someone on the phone to offer you a show room pool for $8, 000 or less...Then when it comes down to getting your pool, financing will call and tell you that the financing company is offering you a better deal for the pool...Instead of the Mid-line your gonna get a Classic for $2000 less and less on interest rate as stated and at the end your will be paying less for the Classic (the best of there pools). Well once they came to install the pool my parents was rushed because they had to have the papers notorized and the bank was about to close so they went ahead and signed the papers. Well the installers had to go find dirt (which was not the dirt that was mentioned from the salesman-top of the line dirt) had done dug up the yard and put the sand down and then the installer comes in...I see the papers and the contract was for $8000 more than what was mentioned on the phone when they called and said the bank is approving the better pool! What can you do know since the papers were already signed! Lesson learned! I called BWP and talked to financing and they tried to say that my parents misunderstood... Well the amount that was on the contract was never mentioned and the $2000 cheaper than what was orginally quoted mentioned and the price it would be! I tell you I wouldn't deal with these people ever again and will not refer anyone to them. Oh and the rep will tell you all you ever have to do is put clorox in the pool once a week...WRONG! This company beats all I've ever seen!
Oh we know all about this company, they had put a lean on are home and we did not even know that until we went to sell are home and found out that they had did that. The we called to talk to them about it and they told use that they had nothing to say and hung the phone up on us . Someone needs to shut them down there ripping people off all over the us . It all sounds good why you have your pool but as soon as something go's wrong with it then shut the door in your face and have nothing to do with it . Bule world pools are nothing but a bunch of ### bag people looking to take your money and that is a fact!
quality and efficiency
June 2011 - I am so sorry that I chose Blue World pools for my above ground pool. We wish that we would have read up on them before signing a contract. Our pool has not been installed yet, which of course we cannot back out of the deal since the 3 day cancellation time frame has passed. We were told that the installers would be able to put our pool in the ground about 2ft. and we could request more feet for a fee of $8.00 per inch. The installer confirmed and advised that the sales person was completely wrong and that they are always selling customers that same line. After being approved for the financing, we were advised that we did not have to do anything else but be there on the day of installation. We inquired about building permits, (any additions to any property would need a permit) at the time of accepting the agreement. They told us that they would be responsible for that if we accepted their deluxe package. As of today, we have been told by our county that if we apply for the building permit, we as homeowners would be held responsible for any problems. I hope and PRAY that we will not have to seek legal counsel if this cannot be turned around. We would chose another company if we had the choice to because of the FALSE information that we were given. That's a TERRIBLE way to begin a financial relationship.

$299.00 pool
saw the add on tv for a $299.00 blue world pool 15'x24' w/ liner, ladder, pump, filter and vacuum kit so I called the 1-800 # to find out what the catch was. If it sounds to good to be true then it always is. I first logged onto the website and read the fine print about having to hire a lawyer to read the contract and liability release, then needed to...

If you are thinking of getting a pool from these vendors, Please reconsider. They come to your house and offer you something other than what you want. You can barely reach them on the telephone to talk to them. My husband and I decided that we could not afford to get this pool (before installation). I had talked to the company previously and the District Manager told us if we didn't want the pool to let him know. Well, when we called back and told them that.. crap hit the fan! First we were told by the financial department to fax over the copy of the check they had cashed from my account ($400) and I would receive a refund. Next thing I know the District Manager calls us back (remember we talked to him previously) and screams we are going to still owe him $12, 000 (even though the pool was not installed! Now my husband and I are going to have to go to legal procedures to get this resolved. Save yourself the trouble and deal with a better company, this one is definitly not out to please the customer they are out to steal your shirt!

Thanks for all the negative reviews, we were thinking of buying the 299.00 pool for the grand kids . Boy oh boy, with all the trouble other folks had with this company We Will Not even think about it now.
scam / deceptive advertisement
Called Blue World Pools on a Friday night about the Econoline Pool for $399 advertised on tv. They called me 16 times by Monday evening to set an appointment. When they came out, I was told the rep had to stay for 90 minutes or he would lose his job. Never discussed the econoline pool, never looked at the site, and he didn't answer any questions relating to pool preparation. His only goal was to sale a 10, 000 Midline pool. He had a paper that had eight steps mandatory to purchase econoline pool ... one of the steps was $300, 000 General Liability insurance! This is bull***t, and I asked how many people completed that step to purchase the econoline ... answer: zero! Of course with the midline pool, you didn't have to worry about any of those eight steps. I looked on their terms of service on their website, and it was nowhere to be found about $300K of any kind of insurance. The rep didn't even have his own cell phone, and called his manager 3 times within 90 minutes. They are using advertisements that is very deceptive, they are liars, and they have falsified paperwork to make people think there is only one way to go ... with the Midline model pools. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
We bought a pool from blue world pools, the guy tom kept insisting he would get us upgraded pool with up graded ladder and side light, also cover an dsolar cover, I said we wil think about it and get bad to him, he said it was a today, special, i was leary, so my stupid husband signed paper, before 3 day grace period, I called to cancel all I got was voice mail, no one ever got bstallack to me, finally the three days passed, all of sudden said they were coming to install pool, finally my husband said well, all the inground companies at time wanted $65, 000, which was redicilious, so we agreed, well one guy knew what he was doing, but the other two flunkies were stupid, first they were young, with flip flops on could just about climb over anything, second they didn't put it where we wanted, second hardly put enough kid sand box, sand to cover bottom or spray for weeds, then throught ladder together, which was not right, then so called light was to fit in stairs of ladder, so in order to use it, would have to put ladder over buy pump, second did not bring or buy large slab of cement to put pump and other stuff on just little slab, for pump, we have had to replace liner twice since then, for weeds were growing out of liner, caused I to rip, said liner was only warrenty if seem ripped, how many times really does it rip on seem, then the so called ozinator went another $160 or more to replace, ladder is junk, suppose to be 18x5 it is only 18x4, now we had stopped paying.their $350 month payments, so now after 6 yrs, they sent us letter saying their putting lien on property, well my husband calling our lawyer, for they are not getting away with this for my husband we to college for political science/public administration, and was president of pre-law society at university of north florida, and also while were at it, dam realtor lied about area and other things, want to sell this dam rotten home, been here 81/2 yrs to long, can't sell it, for we payed $272, 500, $4, 000 fence in yard, might as well sayed we payed $35, 000 for pool plus other things, now cause we consider this spick city, home only worth $171, 500, for all that live here is rude ignorant spicks and blacks or low class idiots, all nice folks moved away, let their home go into foreclosure, pre-foreclosure or short sale, well my dam husband put to much down, so screwed. also, ruined my son's health, and sanity also mine and almost ruined my husbands, for doctors and hospitals are terrible, doctor said unless I move this spring, i'll be dead, neighbors rot.and now dam pool company want us to yeah right, write check for almost$16, 000.for get it, I'll see them in court or they can come get dam pool, wish we never left New England where normal people use to live, not sure if their normal anymore, heard it got expensive, and dam new Yorker's and pakastians and Syrians and Indians and rich ###, moving in to my home state and ruining it, with their big bucks and holier than now attitudes?
payments
My husband and I bought a pool from these people, we have made our payments every month without fail for the last 2 years. Okay now the problem is last December I called them, talked to Luther Davis and told him the money would not be there (payments made only by EFT) . As I had lost my unemployment and no other income coming in we were struggling . They...

We were lied to about the whole deal! chemical free, no way, was a total lie. the installer damaged the top rim with his tractor and tried to hide the damage with the steps. The floor has lumps and holes all in it. The pool is 3 inches out of level. I constructed a deck around a portion of the pool. A different installer did come out and reinstalled a new...

Called Blue World Pools and set up an appointment for a sales rep to come out. They said they do consumer report to check for ownership of the property, so they wanted the birthdate. So a few day's later we get this phone call that they can not send a rep out because of South Carolina legislation my husband's credit is locked by chose. So they were checking his credit report and not ownership of the property. Thank goodness that in this state you can lock your credit and unlock when needed. BEWARE!

Stay away from this company!
Stay Aware they are liar
Salesman John King came my home. I already had an old above ground pool 3ft into the ground size 16x28. Told him I wanted similar size oval but wanted 4ft into ground because I wanted to flagstone or other landscape around it to make look like inground pool. I did not want to deck. He made calls to his office, took numerous photos, measured, removed some decking to take photos. Then told me his office manager approved and they would like to use my new pool for marketing because it would be unique and good example for their company. I signed a contract and gave $5, 000. Deposit with cash paid at installation. He leaves and I'm thinking everything is going to be beautiful and what I want. A few weeks later after 3 day cancellation as passed the contractor for installing pool comes to survey property and placement. Well he is unaware that he is replacing an existing pool. He calls Jim installation manager who is supposedly surprised. He says they never received photos or gave approval., but they will put in where current pool is but no deeper, etc. I tell him John King is a representative of his company and they should stand by the customer is customers per their web and voice mail state this. I no longer want the pool. He says they can't confirm and this salesman is only seasonal so they can't contact him. Well you know that is a lie. So I end up being forced to get this pool and pay another 25', 000. Plus. Now this salesman corrects me and tells me he's measured my current pool and it isn't 16x28 it is 16x32 so I will need the 18x33. Guess what my measurement was correct and pool is 5 ft longer so it can't fit where current pool is. Now it has to be placed at an angled in my yard. . Just another ploy to make more money. So they get new pool installed, I fill it up with approximately 15, 000 gallons and water and it's leaking in several places around bottom of pool including skimmer. I call them they are sorry ordering new liner, need to drain and then refill again at my cost. I've notified my city manager and water manager. Please don't do business with Blue World pools, they are scam artists and untrustworthy. Yet only honest one has been the installer.
false advertisement
My name is Terry N Jones [protected] contact number. I called about a pool I saw on TV for 399.00 and a sales person came out to my home. The sales person told me the pool for 399.00 was not a good pool that it was cheap and would cost to much to keep up for my families use. The man told me that the more exspensive pool was the best way to go because it would be cheaper to keep clean. He said it was a chemical free pool that once a month I would need to put a cheap bottle of bleach in it and that is all it took to keep it clean and in use. He said that I would spend two or three hunderd a month to keep the 399.00 pool clean due to buying the chemcials for it. He said all i need for the more expensive pool was around .89 cents a month. He told me that the pool that was advertised on tv was cheaply made and in a year or two would need to be replaced and was a waste of money. He said that it was going to cost me a lot to get the cheaper pool because i would have to get sand hailed in and a bull doser to clean the site and it would have to be inspected before they would sale me the pool. He told me it was a waste of time and money to buy the 399.00 for it to mess up in a short time and I should want to inprove the value of my home and but the expesive pool. He said the vaule of my home would increase and if I wanted to sale it would make it eaier due to the vaule of the pool and the look of the home. He said I wouldnt have one of the 399.00 pool if it was given to me. I told him I didnt want to spend that much money on a pool. Then he said well I have some incentives i can throw in to make it cheaper for you because I like you. he said if I agreed to use the pool as a show pool he could deducted a certain amont off the pool. Then he said I can call my boss and see if I can use my personal discount to save you even more money. Then He called and I spoke to the manger of the company who offered to drop more off the price of the pool. So i told the sales person after I got off the phone i still didnt know if i wanted to buy the pool. Then he started to push "well I have sent here all this time and did all this work and used my personal discounts and you want regret it". He said when I leave you want be able to get the discounts I offered you the deal will be over. I felt pressured and like I had done the man wrong for not buying the pool so I agreed to buy the expersive pool. Later that night I called and left a message on the mangers answer machine saying I changed my mind and didnt want the pool. I stopped payment on the check.. I got a call a few days later about the payment and that I had to have the cancelation in writing to the company within 3 days of signing the paper work. I never was told their was a time limint on the cancellation process. It was not shown to me at the time of sale. The lady told me i had to either pay the down payment or pay a percentage of the cost of the pool to cancel the contact or they would take me to court for the price of the pool. They also told me of a lean on my home they could inforce if I didnt honor the contract. SO I been paying on this pool and it cost to much to keep up. I cant even us it anymore due to the chemcials cost to much. It was a lie when the man said it was chemical free. I feel wronged and I feel I have wasted all the money I have paid on the pool.

First I just want to say thanks for the reviews you all just saved my husband, myself, and our five children thousands of dollars. I had an appointment on Friday and on Thursday night I decided to see if there were any reviews on this company. The rep had asked for mine and my husbands birthdate to see if our land was in our name so I gave it to her. I read on the reviews that this is how they check your credit report ILLEGAL.. When I called to cancel the appointment and asked if they checked my credit report she said that she told me she did. I told her that she did not tell me that she was very rude and hung up. If the pool is going to cost $299.00 why do you need your credit checked? You all saved my family because it would have been very hard to send this rep away with no pool and my kids were so excited about having a pool in the yard. It costs alot to take 5 children swimming at a public pool.

They did the same thing to me! If you have not already call and file a complaint with the FTC against them. They cannot do anything for us per say, but they may have enough to consider it a a pattern and force an investigation into their company.
