Reading all these reports has left a huge knot in my stomach. My husband started working for Blue World in April thinking this was going to be a great way to make awesome money and help us get ahead financially after some really hard blows from the previous year. We depended on this job VERY much, especially since I had just had a baby in February and didn't get paid for all of my Maternity Leave.
To make a long story short everything he was told along with 2 of his friends in training was a lie. All 3 of them were lied to about the pay schedule, the way their commissions were based, the length of time it would take to install the pools, their bonus checks, EVERYTHING. They were taunted all the time about having their 'bonus checks' taken if they quit. however, they were not BONUS checks, this was the money they were told would pay their taxes at the end of the year WITH leftovers. BUT as soon as the end of the season came they fired whoever they wanted so they wouldn't have to pay. WE STILL have not been paid on THOUSANDS of dollars worth of contracts.
My husband DID NOT know anything about a scam and never had a clue that he was working for a business that wouldn't follow thru with what they said. The money we spent just for GAS to get to appointments is more than we we've received from them. If anyone has any help or contacts that we could join to set up a lawsuit of any kind we'd love to know. My husband and his friend are both extremely angry about how they've been deceived and would do anything to get back at this company who stole very precious money and time from our families and lives.

What a scam
Called blue world pools last week and a representative came out this past Sunday. He gave a good presentation, unfortunately he tells what he is told not what he knows. After going through everything we agreed to get a 'show pool' for around $15, 000. He said the payments would be at the 'high end' based on a 24.9% interest but we should call Monday to...

Three times I’ve set up apts for site inspection, three times I took time off work to be on site, three times BWP was a no show, If you want to buy a new pool go to another company.
Blue world pools must be in business to make phone calls only.
Blue World Pools only response to this problem is: Would you like to setup another appointment. NOOOO! Your company has cost me money already and I’ve never seen a BWP rep.
To all interested in Blue World Pools BEWARE, Don’t waste your time.

Blue World Pools would not accept our cancellation. Took $500 out of our back account two months after cancelling. Threatening us with liens, credit reports and wage garnishment. Do Not Do Business with this Company!
So true. Do not buy a pool from them. VERY SHADY and Lack Integrity at ALL LEVELS.
Agree BWP is a scam and I will never call them again! If something sounds to good to be true, IT IS! I made the appointment and asked what info they needed AND asked what the cost would be. After they called me many times to move the date up I called the week of to make sure I had the correct time and they did not have me in the computer, so being the GREAT company they are it just so happened that they were able to get me in on that date at the time I wanted. Just so happens I asked or should I say told them that if they come to my home and it is more than the price quoted I would be pissed. That is when I heard an ear full about what I needed...SCAM ALERT! He proceeded to tell me that a pool is a luxury and if I was one of "THOSE" people who just go to walmart to buy a pool I pretty much get what I pay for. Here is where I told him that I was going to let as many people as I could know how they do business. DO NOT USE BLUE WORLD POOLS!
Back in may of 2007 They came to my house. There were 4 of us here.It was explained that i was a disabled vet and also totaly disabled(s.s.).The slae man assured us that instead of sending a written cacellation we could call and cancel which we did within less than 24 hours. It was met with much hatred by the mealy mouth little worm that works in collusion with Mike the owner. They did in fact place a lein on my home and now I have to get it off. They said that they were not responcible for what theirsalesman said but he is a representative of that company so in fact they are responcible i would think.I would appreciate any help for this problem.Above all do not do buisness with this company as they are a bait and switch outfit and rip-off people constantly.
I contacted Blue World about a pool and left a message for them to call me back. In the mean time I looked up reviews for the company and seeing that they were all bad decided not to talk to them. Well not only do they call about 40 times a day they have also gave my cell number to telemarketers. I receive texts all night and all day. The last text I got from a company last night was 2 a.m. I have had this cell number for 12 years and have never received a unwanted call. So i called Blue World Pools and told them I did not want one of thier pools and to delete my phone number and quit giving out my cell number and he said he would remove my number and the texts should stop! We will see.
BWP is a toal rip off! As stated above if they see your not going to pay the $20, 000+ for there pools then they get on the phone and call Atlanta and get someone on the phone to offer you a show room pool for $8, 000 or less...Then when it comes down to getting your pool, financing will call and tell you that the financing company is offering you a better deal for the pool...Instead of the Mid-line your gonna get a Classic for $2000 less and less on interest rate as stated and at the end your will be paying less for the Classic (the best of there pools). Well once they came to install the pool my parents was rushed because they had to have the papers notorized and the bank was about to close so they went ahead and signed the papers. Well the installers had to go find dirt (which was not the dirt that was mentioned from the salesman-top of the line dirt) had done dug up the yard and put the sand down and then the installer comes in...I see the papers and the contract was for $8000 more than what was mentioned on the phone when they called and said the bank is approving the better pool! What can you do know since the papers were already signed! Lesson learned! I called BWP and talked to financing and they tried to say that my parents misunderstood... Well the amount that was on the contract was never mentioned and the $2000 cheaper than what was orginally quoted mentioned and the price it would be! I tell you I wouldn't deal with these people ever again and will not refer anyone to them. Oh and the rep will tell you all you ever have to do is put clorox in the pool once a week...WRONG! This company beats all I've ever seen!
We had a Blue Wold Pool Rep come out for an estimate. They said it would be 90 mins...It took 4 hours! After they dropped the price by alot of money we decided to go ahead and do this.
Well after we signed the papers we decided that it was just really a stupid decision and decided to cancel. We knew we had a 3 day window so we called they took another chunk of money off and my husband said to check it out with what are interest rate would be they said it would take 3 days (see the pattern there).
Well I wanted OUT of it and was upset. I came across this website and showed my husband and he said Cancel it. So my husband faxed a letter to them. I called to confirm that they got it he said yes but would not be able to confirm that it was canceled i said why?
After arguing for awhile he finally said you have to mail a letter to cancel it instead of fax. So I knew my time was running short and had my husband overnight the letter to have this canceled. Then I called for him to see if they had done so. They said they have the letter and they are "working" on it. This statement went on for hours.
We are "working" on it. So then after getting so aggervated I lost my cool and said im tired of waiting this should have already been canceled please do so NOW! They then said I was not on the account and could not talk to me anymore. SO then I said I will confrence my husband in and they said no he has to call us.
I said I will not hang up I want this canceled now! We have followed the proceders step by step! Then miraculausly a manager (who mind you had been in a business meeting with for 2 days) appeared. He very hatefully said HE WOULD NOT TALK TO ME ANYMORE BECAUSE I WAS NOT ON THE ACCOUNT!.
I said I will call my husband in on confrence and we did. He then tried to say my husbands signature was forged! UGH the nerve! My husband confirmed that he mailed the letter and they said they would canceled it.
They have no choice at this point but to do just that. Keeping my fingers crossed..
we bought a pool from blue world pools they said it was life time warranty but come to find out nothing is under warranty they even put a lean againt our land a home now we have a 20.000 .00 dollar plus pool with no warranty
I totally agree. I had an appointment set on a Friday afternoon at 5:30. The rep never should up nor did they think to call. After calling to let the company know how upset I was that they didnt call to let me know that they were cancelling, the rescheduled again with me the following week. Well, they at least called and told me they were canceling. I have since tried to contact them but they have blocked my home number from calling. When I try to call it goes to an automatic machine. If I call from another number I at least get to speak to someone. I guess its up to me to let my kids know that they will not be getting this pool but I will keep shopping to find another company.
Blue World Pools, Inc. does not sell your information to anyone ever. My organization also does not text. Please contact me directly so I can ensure your number is removed from our call list. I can be reached any day at [protected] ext 3031, Sean Warren. Thank you for your interest and time. I am not sure who is texting you but I can promise you it is not from my company.
they cannot be trusted
I have also experienced the same deliberate deception and increase in price of the pool. I spoke with an attorney today and if you have signed a contract send them a cancellation letter immediately even if after the 3 days, and whatever you do, do not allow them to install the pool or you will be obligated to pay their ridiculous price for sure.
There must be something we can do if we all ban together despite their threats of legal fees, liens on our property, etc. I was stupid and did not search the internet for more information before I got hooked in. I am searching all avenues for solutions and am digging in for the fight and I will not give up until Blue World Pools is held accountable for the unethical and deceptive business practices.

Hi i bought a pool from blue world pools and they F**K me over.
I am in Iraq and they got to my wife a $14, 000 pool at 348 a mouth for 120 payments that is $41, 760. To get out of the contract it will be $7, 000 just to get out. So if you would like a good F**King just buy from them.
they want money before even deciding on what pool you want
The people at blue world pools have lost there minds. I have been trying since October of last year to get a rep. out here from there. Well today they call again and say that they are unable to make, that I will be receiving a packet in the mail. Like the other 2 times. So I call, The first lady in finance she was the rudest person, I did not even need to talk to anyone in finance, well long story short. I finally got to talk to a rep his name was ROB. Do you know what he had the nerve to tell me? His exact words were «You have to make blue world pool believe that you are serious, the only way to do that is to send the money for the pool." DO WHAT! No representative has been out here, I haven't even decided on what pool, everyone I speak to has attitudes. Now this wasn't $100 or $500. More like in the thousand. They really are scamming people. What can we do about this? Does anyone know!

Don't do business with them
I have read in the past, before I came to work at Blue World Pools, about complaints against Blue World Pools. The texture of them and the way they were written I dismissed as just a disgruntled employee or a consumer that did not have a full understanding of everything. The amount of discovered complaints are about what I would have expected to see on a company this size. Little did I know that what I was able to find was actually just the tip of the ice burg for what was going to happen to me.
I can assure you that this is not the case with me. Please take the time to read this in its entirety, as it is detailed and factual, as I have expounded with dates, transactions and specific dollar amounts.
In Feb 2008, I answered an ad from Blue World Pools seeking outside closers. The ad indicated good earnings potential. I have a $2200.00 mortgage as well as 2 car payments equalling $1200.00 per month. I have made decent money in the past and have set records everyplace I have worked.
I talked to a recruiter that told me about earning of $2000.00 - $3000.00 per week, which sounded fine to me. I discounted this by 50% to make up for company exaggeration, and would still provide me with $6, 000.00 per month income of which is what I need. I had no question of my ability to sell this or any other product.
I was scheduled for a training class on Feb 13th, 14th and 15th. This class, the trainer, Jeff, again stressed the same earnings potential. After this, before we received an employee agreement, we were made to write a check for $150.00 for our training material and presentation kit. If we did not pay it at this time, we had to leave. I paid, as did the other 20 people in the class. Additionally you had to purchase a fax machine to use from peoples homes. This is a cost of about $100.00.
The next day we received our employment agreements as well as commission schedule. This indicated that you would only receive about 50% of your commission at the time the pool was released. It was also explained that as time went on the balances would be paid totalling about 75% of the commission. This sounded ok as I have a history of producing so I was not concerned about the earnings. The agreement also contained a provision of hold back until the end of the year to be paid as a bonus only if you are still an employee of the company. If you leave for any reason, they will keep this money. (It is a deduction from your earned commission and not a true bonus.)
We were also told by Jeff that when we left on Saturday some of us would have leads to run that afternoon and that the ones that did not get a lead Saturday, would have some Sunday. Additionally it was indicated that if we wanted to due a temporary lack of leads we could travel to different market places that was short a rep.
I finally received my first leads days later that produced 1 sale and one appointment cancelled. After going several days without any appointments, I asked where they could send me to that was producing leads. I was sent to Montgomery Alabama initially and then to Johnson City Tn. I drove many days as much as 500 miles making my appointments and returning to the hotel. I left many mornings at 7:30 to make a 10:00 appointment and then had appointments as late as 8:30 and got back to the hotel at 1:00.
While they had me working out of Johnson City Tn. I covered TN, VA, and Kentucky as well as N.C. the same scenario was in play here as it was in Alabama.
From March 1, 2008 when I ran my first appointment to May 4th, I sold a total of 20 pools. My total pay earned was $6900.00 however, my total received is only $3222.10 with a “bonus” due of $3000.00, which I will never receive because I am not with the company. I spent $2475.00 in fuel and vehicle expenses including 3 oil changes because of mileage.
As represented, by the recruiters and Jeff the trainer the average commission is $900.00. If that were a true statement I would have earned not less then $18, 000.00, a liveable wage as that would break down for 2 months of earnings netting about $6500.00 after expenses and taxes. I did not even earn half that amount. In some cases, I received as little as $73.55. (A detail of earning per unit will follow)
The commission structure as represented to us is as follows 50% above par or 5% on in house financing (Which winds up being 100% of the time. It seems that I never met anyone that had decent enough credit to be bought by any number of our available finance companies)
Customer 1 sold 03/1 for $11, 721.00 paid 436.05, and should have been $586.05.
Customer 2 sold 03/6 for $13, 721.00 paid $536.05, and should have been $686.05.
Customer 3 sold 03/8 for $16, 321.00 paid $275.00, and should have been $1300.00 (50% over par).
Customer 4 sold 03/11 for $13, 721.00 was turned down even thought they claim that due to in house financing there are no turndowns.
Customer 5 sold 03/12 for $11, 721.00 paid $200.00, and should have been $585.05.
Customer 6 sold 03/15 for $10, 961.00 was cancelled and then the company called a couple of days later and they saved it but cut me out of the commission because of it cancelling.
Customer 7 sold 03/20 for $11, 721.00 paid $300.00, and should have been $585.05.
Customer 8 sold 03/21 for $10, 471.00 paid $73.55, and should have been $523.55.
Customer 9 sold 03/25 for $15, 721.00 paid $250.00, and should have been $1001.50 (50% over par).
Customer 10 sold 03/27 for $15, 721.00 paid $250.00, and should have been $1001.50 (50% over par).
Customer 11 sold 03/29 for $17, 521.00 paid $000.00, and should have been $1900.00 (50% over par).
Customer 12 sold 04/4 for $9, 999.00 paid $200.00, and should have been $1000.00 (50% over par.)
Customer 13 sold 04/12 for $13, 721.00 paid $250.00, and should have been $686.05.
Customer 14 sold 04/13 for $15, 021.00 paid $250.00, and should have been $650.00 (50% over par)
Customer 15 sold 04/19 for $8934.00 paid $000.00, and should have been $446.70.
Customer 16 sold 04/22 for $10471.00 paid $000.00, and should have been $523.55.
Customer 17 sold 04/23 for $16321.00 paid $000.00, and should have been $1300.00 (50% over par)
I had 3 cancellations involved totalling 20 sales.
Additionally there are several people that they called later in the week, after I had been to the home and made a 3-hour presentation, and sold for less money. This cut me out of the loop entirely for commission paid.
After being kept away from my family, I did request to take me back home. I was made to stay on the road for an additional 7 days before they would send me home. Upon arrival at my home area, I went several days without receiving any appointments at all. They, since I was no longer willing to travel, effectively forced me to quit but not providing me appointments. I was told by Mike Maloney that I needed to be aware that all monies held would not be paid to me, as they were actually bonuses and not my commissions earned. Additionally any appointments that would be provided normally I would be fined for and taken out of any money that might be owed to me in commissions. (I find this rather interesting, as there weren’t any appointments for me in the 10 days prior to this and suddenly upon my departure, they are slammed with 4 appointments a day for me. So they can levy a 250.00 fine against me for not running them. (They require a 7-day notice or will fine you for missed appointments)
They really took me. I fell for ‘PIE IN THE SKY’. What’s bad is I should know better. I worked hard for this company to be stolen from.
The promises made are just that. Empty promises. I made amounts of commissions that were well below stated commissions that we were told could be earned. Additionally any contract that could not be sent to outside financing and were kept for in house financing, we would get only 5% of instead of 50% over par on those qualifying contracts. Little did I know that all of my clients would be in house financing? This allows the company to pay less to the sales representative and make 25% interest from the client over a course of 7-10 years. IE: Comission example, a pool selling for $17, 521.00 should pay the salesperson $1900.00. With in house financing, I would receive only 5% of the sales amount that in the stated example would only pay me $876.05. As you can see from before that this happened to me at least 1 time.
They are a large company that is set up and geared for them to make money. They misrepresent most things to you as a salesperson. Additionally they request you to lie to the potential clients from the beginning of the sales presentation stating that Blue World has been in business for 28 years, (they have not) all the way to a show pool discount that is nothing more then a gimmick. In addition, they tell you not to leave all of the customer signed forms with the customer, specifically the high cost section 32 mortgage disclosure stating that there is a mortgage on their house and the document that tells about the ability to cancel.
This company is amazing in that their format is actually to commit fraud on an ongoing basis. This is evident from the beginning of hiring sales people in February to the way sales are affected.
I personally know another person from the Orlando Florida area that this very same thing has happened to. I also truly believe that we are not isolated incidents.
I am ultimately going to file a report with the appropriate attorneys generals in the respective state that I worked in as well as Nevada as they are incorporated in that state.
We are not permitted to provide our e-mail address or phone number in the body of the text here at this site. However, if you signup with them (There is not a fee) you will be able to obtain all of my contact information as I have given them permission to forward to all that request it.
I am interested in hearing from anyone that has had an issue with Blue World Pools either through their unscrupulous sales tactics or as an employee. Additionally I am seeking an attorney that would be interested in looking into this further to contact me referencing a possible lawsuit and ultimately a class action lawsuit.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
This is the worst company ever! Something is real shady with them! I was 5 days late on payment and they sent threatening text and when I called the lady was the rudest person I have ever came across in my lifetime and I was a manager at Walmart so I’ve had my share of rude people. Just awful! I have a pile of dirt still in my yard and they don’t accept payments by mail only direct debit and say there a lean on our property. They don’t even show up on our credit report. Do not get a pool from them!
We bought a pool from them after they conned us into the most expensive pool they had. We tried to cancel before they even came to install and they told us that we would still have to pay for it 100%even if we don't get the pool... I knew then we got scammed. They told us the liner would be top of the line and was puncture proof...well that was a lie as we have a small hole I can't find. I hate them...
Well according to there sales pitch the pool is guaranteed for life so they need to replace the liner! They are definitely a conn company, I want out of them so bad!
How can this be resolved? I’m a customer with an unusable pool and a lien on my house I didn’t know about.
Every time I have to call them I have to remember that the person on the other end of the phone has to make a living and isn’t as crooked as the company they work for.
Think about the fact that people are still actively searching for solutions to the scam they were sold on.
The only positive I have ever been able to see is that the salesman was able to put food on the table as his wife had just had a baby.
I guess that’s not the full story either. I’m so sorry for the salespeople who get messed over. That was a side I hadn’t thought of even though I have literally cried to my husband over the course of this never ending nightmare that even the sales people probably don’t know. I have to believe that. The OP here has restored some of my faith in people.
I guess that’s my silver lining for today. OP, thank you and I’m sorry. Fellow customers: this really sucks, huh?
Do not use them. Poor customer service. Awful installation. 4 installers never showed and last one did a horrible job installing the pool. Stole my construction ladder. Pool equipment horrible installed with hard piping and no shut off valve in any way. Not even a year later ground recesses and I have leaks everywhere with no way to shut the water. Called and they told me they were going to send someone to call in 48 hrs 3 months later I’m still waiting. In top of that my pool has not been installed for a year. They installed and it was cold and I have to shut it down immediately, no way to know about all the problems until this season. They took no accountability in their work and told me repairs will be out of my pocket. Big scam. I regret using this company. Never again.
I would definitely like to be in on a lawsuit against these people. They don’t send statements for what you pay they lie about everything and they insisted I put my pool where I didn’t want it plus I’m sure much more so if anyone has the same problem and wants to join me in this please let me know.
I want in on a lawsuit against Blue World Pools.
They are scam artists!
We’ve had our pool for 2 seasons now and we are STILL waiting for someone to come out and fix the liner AGAIN!
We were talked into the mid-line pool. Agreed to be a show pool for the discount. After thinking more about it, I called and cancelled the contract only to be told they would give us another discount to keep the agreement. So we did.
The first time they came to set up the pool they put play sand down under the pool. After the installer put the liner in and began to fill the pool we were told not to get in until it’s full of water so we don’t cause divots on the bottom. Later that evening the installer called extremely intoxicated and left a message for me to call him. I never did return his call and deleted the message after letting my husband listen to it. He was creepy. (Wish I would have kept it now! Ugh!)
Once the pool was full we got in to find huge divots all over the bottom so we called to report it. They said the installer would contact us soon. Never heard back so I contacted the installer myself. He said he needed to wait for the weather to warm up to remove the liner and fix the sand underneath. This was in February. I called installer again in April he returned in mid-May.
We had to drain the pool and when he came out he admitted to putting the wrong sand down but didn’t replace it. They just smoothed out the divots and put the same liner back in and said, “Hopefully this will fix it?” He had to take the Ion pack off the pool to get to the liner and as he took it off I watched him toss it to the ground. Once he put it back on and the pool was filled AGAIN the Ion cartridge was leaking so I called the installer and let him know. He said we broke it and I told him I watched him throw it to the ground. I then called Blue World to let them know. They sent out a replacement and said the installer would come fix it. A few weeks went by so I contacted the installer AGAIN and he said, “I’m not sure when I can get back to fix it but your husband can switch it out” He never came back so my husband had to figure out how to replace it.
Once the water warmed enough to get in we found that there are huge divots and ruts all on the bottom AGAIN! Called Blue World and reported it and they said since we fixed the Ion ourselves the file was closed and if the installer were to come back out it would be a charge for him to return. After that long fight they reopened the file for the liner to be corrected. I was told the installer would contact me but to be patient because it could be a few weeks since it is their prime time to install. That was in May and we are now into August and have not heard a word!
They don’t want to fix anything but they definitely want your money on time every month!
I want out of this contract and they need to have their pants sued off!
Please notify me of any suits I can help with…belliott9818@gmail.com
I would like in on a law suit also.
My story is pretty close to yours. It’s been 4yrs and I still have sand issues underneath and had to patch several holes I. The liner myself, so of course they say since I did that they would charge for everything that the installer came out to fix, not that they will ever show up it’s been 4yrs now!
I am a single grandmother raising 3 grandchildren, so I can’t really afford to take my kids on vacations so I decided I’d get them a pool for summer. I saw blue worlds advertisement for the 399.00 pool called them they came out and of talked me into getting an upgrade. That was 4yrs ago and so far I have made payments equaling over $12,000.00 and they say I still owe another 7yrs! That’s more than more home is even worth. During Covid I lost my job and one of my twin grandchildren got critically injured and has a brain injury, I called them and tried to work something out but they said there was nothing they could do and reminded me that they would take my childrens home if I didn’t pay the balance in full! I’m not sure how they can do that but I’m going to have to take my chances and stop payments from my back to these people. I can’t keep letting my children go without necessities to pay these mean ugly people.
Has anyone else done this, just stopped paying them? If so if you don’t mind saying what happened?
Thank you for your comments.

Hello Torrey - any news on this lawsuit. I have signed an agreement this weekend, and asked them about the cancellation policy just in case as the cost was above what we wanted to finance. We were told 3 business days starts from the Monday (6/27/22) since we signed on a Sat (6/25/22). After careful consideration my husband and I decided this just doesn't make sense for us to put money towards at this time, so I wrote the letter in accordance with the contact for cancellation and spent $108 to overnight to the address it clearly list for cancellation. I just got notification that the address is not valid and I have been on the phone waiting now for 20 mins after asking to speak to someone about the new location for cancellation. Tomorrow would be our day it needs to be received by, but there is no forwarding address to send it to according to UPS. I have a feeling this is where we are leading if I can not get anyone to answer me.

they are a scam
I'm Glad that I found these comments. The saleswoman arrived at my house within 10 minutes after I read this. she was trying to sale me a $295, 000 pool and $399 pool for $15, 000...then after I told her those are high prices and I will get back in touch after I made a decision she tried to lower the price to $11, 000...after continually telling her that I would have to call her back with my decision she was saying something about that it was today’s offer only...and just like one of the comments I read she kept calling someone on my house phone! To make calls to someone? She just would not accept the fact that I was not going to purchase this pool. I asked her if they have an office or a show room she told me that they did not have either. She said that she sells them out of her home...after she said that I asked her to leave.

Beware of them
On March 28, 2008 a Blue World Pools Salesman came to our house in an attempt to sell us an above ground pool, and an expensive one at that. The Pool they had advertised was a 15x24 above ground pool for $399. (Their cheep and most undesirable)Their upgrade, a 15 by 24 began at over $25, 000, with all of their frills and gguaranties. Blue World began lowering their offer, as we kept saying no. Finally after numerous "Nos" the salesman would make a call each time back to the office and his boss (Mike) would get on the phone stating another lower offer, pressuring us to buy, that was the special for that day only. The last offer was for $10, 455 which was "at cost». After 5 hours of being pressured, and the salesman always calling the boss (Mike) when we said no, and it would start all over again him trying to convince we needed to buy. So we decided to do it. The salesman drew up the contract explaining we had 3 days to cancel. If we bought a pool from them they could take our land from us, as there was a lien on our property, (For a stinking above ground swimming pool) I felt uncomfortable, the guy didn't know a whole lot about pools, plus when I logged onto the net, afterward, looking for information about Blue World Pools, 3 items down in the search were stories about Blue World Pools "A Scam" "Rip Off" crooks who would not even pay their employees. Stories from an ex-employee who said he did not get paid anything for working for them so he quit. Said customers were tricked into signing contracts, not know what % the interest would be for ffinancing, and it was almost impossible to cancel a contract, because it required a phone returned back to the customer telling the procedure for cancelling. The contract said at the bottom that it had to be cancelled by letter (To the home office in Nevada) or telegraph. Since there is no telegraph office anywhere a telegraph could not been sent. A customer can call and call being hooked up with ext. 4 and Allen's voice mail promising a call back, which never comes. After a couple of days of trying to talk to somebody about the contract, and where to mail the letter, and will it be counted if it is postmarked within 3 business days, but always being transferred to voicemail the 3 day recession period has passed and now the company wants 30% of the pool cost to cancel, since the letter didn't reach them before the 3 day grace period. This same thing happened to us, except after 8 phone calls in the am hours of March 31, being put thru to Allen's voice mail 8 times, and being suspicious due to the info on the net, & still not receiving a call back, I put a stop payment on my $1000.00 check I had given as down payment. I also typed up a letter of cancellation on March 31, faxed Blue World Pools a Copy, but also Expressed mail to them to get it the next morning, it was postmarked at 1:00 pm on 3/31. At 4:30 on 3/31 I once again tried to call dialling for ext. 8 (which seems to be the executive side of their building) got Mike, told him that I could not get any of his employees to return a phone call to me, and he transferred me to ext. 4 which then I was told that Allen was on the phone and would call me back in 30 minutes. Here it is 12 days later and I am still waiting. But I did get the upper hand, I stopped payment, expressed the cancellation letter to them, and faxed a copy as well. Even then the check, that was stopped payment was still cashed by them at their bank, and cleared my bank in a deposit on April 4th. I called last Monday, April 7th, getting the run around from 2 men at extension 8, once again being transferred to Allen's voicemail. I called straight back and asked if our contract had been cancelled, Kathleen there said it had. I told her that they had cashed a check even being notified that the contract was cancelled, instead of sending it back to me. She said they would refund me the money back, but I told her my bank had already sent it back to them, that it was of no value. I agree with the other customers that this pool company makes it almost impossible to cancel a contract, and tries to get your money. One of the other poor souls was still fighting trying to get his down payment back. My bank helped me but it cost $36 stop payment fee. Guess I got lucky, I have learned my lesson. If looking to purchase a big item from a company on the net ...CHECK IT OUT first...And don't trust Blue World Pools!

This company did a hard pull on my credit on may 12 2023 without my permission.
I had problems ever since I had it. Had it for 3 months then the pump stop working when swimming 2 times for the whole summer. Liner had a hold in it they came and fixed it 4 months later. Never buy this it's a piece of crap
We have had the pool for 3 years the rails are rusting through. When I call for warranty it is 450 to send them. Have not heard from any one from warranty since August. Do not buy from them terrible customer service. They say payoff is 10,000 dollars it shouldn't be rusting out.
Please mail me a written copy of all payments paid to date and remaining payments left, have asked for this several times now. James E. Wilder , my payments are auto withdrawn from my bank account. if no response with in the next14 days { will stop payments} until I receive this written notice
Why has this company been doing credit checks on personnel who have never interacted with them. It is impacting my credit score
Why are these complaints marked resolved and they do not seem to be resolved.
I regret ever buying our pool from blue world pools it has had leaks every liner that has been put in. We did not even get to use in the first year. We finally got a liner for the pool after calling periodically through a year. Several times we had payment not go through are bank for what ever reason and they contact us sharply- unlike when you wait a whole year. Then when I bring up the leaking in new liner, I am treated with no respect- yelled at and am told they will take my home if it’s not paid today! I moline you if you’re reading this, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THI COMPANY! All they care about is getting money out of you and they treat you badly when you question why their very overpriced pool is leaking. You are to shut your mouth, pay way too much for the product and deal with the fact, this is what you got- deal with it. It was never brought up that they could put a lean on our home. The sales person rushed us saying this price will not last long, then call you back telling you for a little more you get big upgrades in pool and liner, which again leaks!
I meant “explore” not omline
We started out having the worst experience from the time of the sale. I called in to cancel my installation of the pool within the timeframe, because we read somethings that WAS never discussed. After days of talking to different people that were supposedly "top" heads of the company, we went through with getting our pool installed. I should have went with my first mind. Our backyard was tore up for months, we had to come off additional money to get it back in order and then the gallon of bleach a week is a LIE! I called in before doing anything additional and I was told, no you need to add at least 3 bottles a week. Fine, did as I was instructed and still same green color. I called back and was told oh go get your water checked again... I did and had to buy chemicals because my PH Balance was too high and they only left us with increasers. I purchased the chemicals and got my pool together. The next week same issue. Called the company again and was told, I dont know what else to tell you but go buy the chemicals again. I tried to explain what I was told about this pool from our sales rep and the "top" heads of the company, and as far as I see, IT WAS A LIE. I received a letter from our HOA that stated we are NOT to have above ground pools in our community ( I was told by Blue World Pools that we were a show community.. that they have many pools in our community) THAT WAS A LIE and we had to pay a fine and they want the pool GONE. Tried to speak with a representative at the company and was told there is nothing they can do, that has nothing to do with their company. Along with this fine and having to find someone to come and demolish the pool, we have fell on hard times due to COVID and have been unable to make our last two payments...now we are being threatened by the rude company that they are coming to take our home. When we asked about this, we were informed "well next time pay attention to what you are signing and not the answers you are getting from your questions." How is that anyway to speak to someone when were told things from your company. Anyone listening DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY! NOT ONE TIME HAVE I EXPERIENCED THE TRUTH FROM THIS COMPANY!
Sorry, forgot to mention, we GOT the wrong pool... they installed the wrong pool. So they called us almost a week after we paid to get our fence put back up and 13 gallons of water, to ask if we wanted the correct pool. NO... that's more money out of our pocket...and running the pump for the time that they require, your electric bill will skyrocket! All around headache, worst decision I ever made in my life!
I am dealing with the same thing with blue world pools. Due to covid I hadn't been able to pay and I also was getting threatening phone calls about taking my home etc. My home isn't even fully paid for. Why couldn't they just repo the pool? I don't understand. Now I'm just worried as to what is going to really happen with non payments to them.
If you want to stop these sleezeballs just file a suit Pro Se. It will cost you pennies but will cost them time and money to defend. Its kinda fun and easy to do most county clerks can point you in the right direction.

I think $399 for a pool is great. Just say no to higher pool
This is what people see when they walk into my back yard! Horrible
This pool is a complete eye sore! They came and ruined my yard, nothing was going right with the pool at all. They told mem piles of dirt on the side of the pool would wash away with the rain because it was soft dirt but all it did was makes puddles of mud in my yard, , and I could not even let my grandkids go back there because it was entirely too muddy! I asked them several times to come and get the pool and they just refuse to I am tired of it and they can have it back TODAY!
