Above Ground Swimming Pool
I have a Blue World pool that had serious service issues that involved a leaking swimming pool. The issue persisted all summer. Blue World sent a service technician out to assess the problem. The technician from Kozial Pool Installation (Zackery Kozial), a different installer from the one that originally installed my swimming pool. Zackery was very courteous and treated me like a a valued customer. He assess the pool and indicated that the original installer did not put the pool in properly. Furthermore, the liner to the pool had separated seams causing the pool to leak. I contacted Blue World Pools after the first visit from Zackery to let them know of his findings with my pool. Blue World Pool directed me to contacting "Swim Line" the manufacturer of the liner to have them send me another liner, and once that was done they would send the service tech back to install the liner. This was a concern for me because the sales rep for Blue World Pool stated that I would have a life time warranty on the liner and walls of the pool. Swim line approved the defected claim but I still had to pay a prorated amount for the liner. The Blue World rep stated the service would take care of the installation for me. On 9/26/2022, Kozial came back out and installed the liner. On 9/27/2022, Zackery called me because he stated that Blue World Pool was now telling him that they weren't going to pay for the service installation of the liner. I immediately called the Blue World Pool service department to discuss the issue. I was connected to discuss the issue with Jim the service manager. At the beginning of the conversation he over talked me and began raising his voice. I then told Jim that I was feeling threatened and intimidated by his tone with me. He began mimicking and mocking me, and made the statement that he is 75 years old and he wasn't going to be intimidated by a [censored] on the phone. I hung up the phone and called back to request to talk to his manager to discuss the issue and insult to me from Jim. They connected me to Phillip and he was no help either. This was not only horrible customer service but it was pure discrimination to call me a [censored]. I didn't even get an apology from Phillip for none of this. I will not be a paying customer that was already dealing with a swimming pool that wasn't put together with Quality in the beginning now you are intimidating, insulting, and discriminating against me.
Desired outcome: I am requesting the entire balance of my pool to be resolved as well as the service cost to Kozial, and a written apology for this behavior.
Service and Customer Service
I had my pool installed, they completed it in the dark. This means they were not able to go over the items in detail and I didn't realize that until I am trying to winterize my pool. I found the box with the tarp and wire, no one can tell me what to do with this to cover my pool. So I asked to purchase the items it said I needed for cold weather, I was transferred and the phone hung up. I called back and the phone rang for 15 minutes before I just hung up. Someone called me to ask about a survey and I informed them that I am not happy and may not be a good day to get a survey from me. I was sent back to service where there is a voicemail. I am informed on the documentation I have to follow the steps for my warranty but no one will ensure that I am able to do that, I am truly upset as I paid cash up front for this pool and cannot prep it for the winter without hiring someone to get the items from somewhere else to clean, cover, and ensure its done appropriately. SAD
Desired outcome: I would like someone to tell me what I need to ensure that the pool stays under warranty in reference to winterizing it and ensure I have everything I need with instructions or a YouTube on how to do this.

Pool delivery and installation
After several months of negotiations with Blueworld Pools, we finally in July, 2022, settled on getting a pool. The pool was to be delivered and installed on Monday, Sept 12, 2022. However, I received a call that this had to be changed tp Tuesday. Sep 13. This was followed by message notification that it would by Sept 23 before my pool could be installed. The problems with this is I had to hire someone to take down part of my backyard fend to accommodate the Installer. Twice I had to ask them to reschedule, which, as they explained to me, causes them to loose money from other jobs. Then, I get a call from the BWP installers wanting to come on Friday, Sept 23. This caused me some concern as they were now PUSHING me further back. I felt that BWP they should have cancelled other installations to get mine completed. Well, this just won't work for me. They called again wanting to come this Friday, Sept 16, but No one will be home that day as we HAVE MADE APPOINTMENTS WITH OTHERS THAT WE PLAN TO KEEP ! Tomorrow I'm going to Walmart to get a pool and the people who got jerked around, and that I paid to take down and reinstall my fence said they would help. The best thing BWP can do for me is refund my $1,000.00
Desired outcome: Just give me my money back

We paid $17000 for a pool and for it to be "professionally" installed.
Our pool was purchased the end of June and installation began the end of July. The installer completed work on a Thursday evening/ Friday morning around 2 a.m. in a rain storm and started filling the pool. The next day the pool was about half full and you could see that if we continued filling the pool the water water wouldn't reach the skimmer but would be overflowing on the opposite side. We measured and the difference in the pool sides was about 8". The edges looked like a roller coaster ride they were all so uneven. The posts were leaning to one side or another. The floor of the pool is wrinkled to no end and there are rocks all underneath. It's the biggest disaster we've ever seen. We could have bought a walmart pool and it look better than this!
Desired outcome: We would like to be refunded and the they can come get the pool or whatever they want to do with it.

We signed up for a pool beginning of June and were told give it 3 to 6 weeks for install. With having to call company multiple times we finally got our pool which was upgraded to a classic 24ft installed August 30th. Started filling the pool that night. Next day picked up all trash left from install so we thought and mowed our yard being super careful...

this company is a scam! Blue world pools is a finance company first and foremost. selling cheap pools is the side hustle. they came into my home with the promise of a $300 pool then like a time share push and push and push for you to buy a $15000 above ground pool which is insane. They tell you the $300 is the same as one at walmart and if you want it then you still have to pay $2000 to prep the site or they will not install it even though free installation is stated on the website and in contract. THeir finance rate is the same no matter how good your credit is but you dont find that out until after the fact when you get hit with a 34% interest rate! and the icing on the cake is that the company hires felons to travel and represent them. FELONS that they send to your home. How this company is still in business with all the criminal activities is terrifying
Pool
It’s been 4yrs and I still have sand issues underneath and had to patch several holes In The liner myself, so of course they say since I did that they would charge for everything that the installer came out to fix, not that they will ever show up it’s been 4yrs now!
I am a single grandmother raising 3 grandchildren, so I can’t really afford to take my kids on vacations so I decided I’d get them a pool for summer. I saw blue worlds advertisement for the 399.00 pool called them they came out and of talked me into getting an upgrade. That was 4yrs ago and so far I have made payments equaling over $12,000.00 and they say I still owe another 7yrs! That’s more than more home is even worth. During Covid I lost my job and one of my twin grandchildren got critically injured and has a brain injury, I called them and tried to work something out but they said there was nothing they could do and reminded me that they would take my childrens home if I didn’t pay the balance in full! I’m not sure how they can do that but I’m going to have to take my chances and stop payments from my back to these people. I can’t keep letting my children go without necessities to pay these mean ugly people. Of course I never agreed to give them my childrens home fo a pool! But somehow my initials or so they say are mine is now on the contract.
Thank you for your comments.
Installation of the pool
We had a 27 x 27 pool installed on Aug 3rd. We filled the pool with water to realize the pool was 6" unlevel and we had multiple leaks. We texted the installer with no response. On Saturday August 6th we called service and was told our installer would address our issues when additional screws came in. We have spoken to Russell Strack, manager and additional service reps with lots of promises to resolve our issues, but here we are on August 17th with no resolution in site. We just want what we paid for and signed a contract for installed properly.
Desired outcome: The pool will need to be taken down, leveled and reinstalled at this point. Need appt to do this
Sales reps and everyone in this company lie to customers
Clearly what the salesperson states to your face is not what they put on paper which would lead to misleading and having customers being obligated for services that were spoken and not written! Everything they are saying is true. My wife and I were also told it was a maintenance-free pool and the ONLY TIME we would have to add bleach was at start-up. After that, we will not need to do anything more but enjoy our pool. I should have done my homework before I got into business with Blue World Pools, but because of the hot summer and my kids wanting a pool, I was suckered into getting one. Blue World Pools are scammers! First off they sent someone to our home and locked in a price which we were cool with, and I was even going to pay off with cash. Then when finance called they told us they were going to upgrade us to a Classic because they were running a special and they were overstocked on them. Didn’t have any idea they were going to raise our price by $6,000. I feel if we were the ones to call and ask for an upgrade then our price should have gotten raised they should have not raised our locked-in price by them telling us they are the ones who are upgrading us! But it doesn’t stop there. When they finally sent some guys out to install the pool, the pool was unlevel and it damaged the side wall because of it. I called them and told them the pool was unlevel before we filled it all the way up and I was told my calculations could be off because the liner had to expand first. Fair enough, but it ended up being unlevel!🤬 Another installer had to come out and redo the whole pool, which he was awesome and should not be working for these scammers. After it was reinstalled, I called to see if we could get compensated on our water bill because it was no fault to us that the first installers F'd up. Blue World told me if I refer to my contract they don’t compensate for water, I said bet I WILL NOT be referring anyone to them! BEWARE! They will quick talk you like you are getting a good deal. They were supposed to do a completion call and that NEVER happened, but when it came to putting a bank account on file for payment, they were constantly calling, texting, and emailing. After really thinking about it I was told the interest rate would change and I would pay it off sooner, but we were going to pay cash until they raised it 6000 more dollars, which I should have stuck to my first instinct and paid it off. Yeah, they did us! Search for other pool companies! Do not give them your business! You all lied about the reasoning for needing house information.
Desired outcome: Out of contract or $10,000 off with detailed.
Pool Install -- FAILED
So the installer came with a skid steer and had not pre-ordered sand, and did not install posts on concrete blocks. We now have a pool up, but we can't completely fill it to skimmer or it will literally overflow on the other side of the pool... Just a little UNLEVEL! Not to mention the walls are crooked and it looks more like a roller coaster track along the top rail than a pool rail. The posts are sinking into the ground in spots because they are not on blocks. There are wrinkles all along the bottom of the pool. When I call service I get a complete run around. Last call lasted 54 minutes before I finally hung up and I spoke to 11 people! Some of those being the same but no one wants to make the problem theirs or see to it that it is corrected quickly. They are putting me on the back of the waitlist. I have an unusable pool in my yard and Blue World has my almost $20K. It's a mess!
Desired outcome: Refund of our money.
Overall Service
I’ve received 2 VM’s from Doreen in the Commodity Dept. I’ve tried to call back several times and a human answers immediately, transfers the call, and then I sit on hold for no less than an hour before hanging up. I’ve placed several calls to Customer Service also with the same outcome. Have yet to ever speak to more than the “initial human”.
When asked to fill out surveys by the BW employees/contractors that came to the house, we were asked to do so while they sat or stood there and waited for the survey to be handed back. And I mean they were within arms reach, close. There’s no option to fill it out and send it in, there’s no opportunity to take time to fill it out or to include any detailed information, good or bad. There’s a pressure to fill it out with great feedback and hand it back to them as quickly as possible- which leads me to believe that’s why they have any good ratings online.
After installation, the contractor that provided a quick run down on the “how to’s” of the pool maintenance did so in about… 10 minutes or less. So much information was covered it was impossible to retain any of it. The recommendation to watch BW videos on YouTube if we forgot something was useless- entirely different from anything he’d said. Nothing sounded familiar at all. None of the processes were familiar. Calling Customer Service for guidance- also useless, see above. Actually not sure if anyone works in the Customer Service Dept. beings as no one answers when you’re transferred there. Ever.
The price for the pool and financing options are HORRENDOUS- especially considering the “customer service” provided as a result. I would NEVER do this again and don’t recommend anyone else initiate the process of purchasing a pool from them.
I do NOT recommend going through BW for a pool and will NOT refer anyone to them. If I could’ve found a place on their site to leave an honest, thought out review, I’d have done so.
Desired outcome: Ease in access to customer service staff.Refund for cost/reduction in price paid.Ability to leave an honest review on the actual BW site vs. a pressured 5-star rating.
Blue World Pools
I signed the contract and paid $4500. The installer ( 1 guy) took 4 days , showed up late each day & the last day, close to sundown(7:30pm). The damaged the frame and the wind tore the liner. Blue World Pool was informed about the problem and terminated the installer & they suggested replacement of frame & liner. I didn’t appreciate the manner any of the service was handled so I wrote the cancellation letter, mailed it & it was delivered within the 3day cancellation timeframe. Blue World keeps giving me the runaround as if I didn’t cancel. They’re threatening arbitration, court cost & $24,611.70 +15% interest . I don’t even have a pool & they’re treating us as if they installed something. The boxes that came with it are still boxed up, stacked and waiting for them to retrieve & they won’t take it. Now I’m having to pay for attorney fees to try to get them to cease and desist as well as refund my monies. They only give you the 9120 Double Diamond Pkwy. Suite4925 Reno NV 89521 but they have another location in 120 Interstate N.Pkwy. S.E.Atlanta GA30339.
Desired outcome: Please apologize , refund and cease & desist the contract as stated.
Customer service
On 5/17 we signed a contract with Blue World Pools for a 24 ft round. The representative measured the area and that was the one she suggested. We gave them the $2000 deposit they required. On 6/1 my husband and I decided to remeasure because we thought it may have been measured wrong. Sure enough, it was too close to the power lines and electrical outlet. We called BWP and spoke to the head of the installation dept. we sent him the schematics and the pictures of our yard. He agreed that the pool wouldn’t fit. He suggested an oval and said they would call the next morning with a price for that. So when they called it was $5000 more. They agreed to cancel the contract because it was a mistake on their end. On June 4th, someone called from BWP and asked me to send them copies of the check we paid with and the pictures of the yard. I sent them immediately and they followed up in writing that the pool was cancelled and we would receive a refund in the mail within 10-15 days.
I called 10 days ago and was told that the check was going to be mailed out in a few days.
I called yesterday and they gave me the run around until I explained the situation. He put me on hold and came back and said that the file had been “found” and that it was put on a random desk and forgotten about. Then he said it was being processed that day. I asked for an email confirmation and he said he would have them send one.
Today: no email confirmation so I called back and specifically asked for the guy in my text. He said it was being submitted for a refund today. I said you told me that was done on the 4th. He said it was. I asked to speak to someone in the accounting department. He said I couldn’t. I asked who writes the checks. His response was “the owner writes them. He does not take phone calls. He is 86 years old and comes in sometimes from 1-2 on random days. He also doesn’t have a computer, so therefore he doesn’t have an email” .….and then he hung up on me. I wasn’t yelling or cursing or anything. I was floored.
I’m at a loss. They are based out of Atlanta and we are in Texas. I filed a complaint with the BBB. This has been a nightmare.
Desired outcome: Refund for deposit being that this was not our fault.
Customer service
I was told that the finance department would call me in a couple of days , that was on 6/11 by the verification department. I was told a couple days later by someone i. the finance department that everything looked good but it was still being reviewed and it would be any day now. The salesman had me put down $1000 at the time of the order and he said I would have to put down the other $1000 when the pool is installed. I find it weird that when I called the salesman that the pool loan is approved after talking to a second finance employee. The first one said they were still waiting on my job ti call. My job do not call for job verification. A customer should never hold on the phone for 107 minutes to talk to any department to get an resolution.
Desired outcome: Refund my deposit and cancel contract.
I got a call today stating that they where going to charge me 30% of the pool. I do not have a pool from Blue World. My husband has contacted his lawyers with pictures showing the salesman talking only to me not both of us. Also, he also was sleep when the salesman had me sign the contract. When the salesman talked to the verification department he stated that my husband was sleep and that he said ok. This is a breach of contract if both parties are not physically available for the appointment. My husband was sleep and I signed his name after i was talked out of buying the Econoline pool. The salesman was well aware that my husband did not sign the contract.
Complaint
My husband and I called Blue World Pools, 120 INTL N Pkwy, Ste 426. Atlanta, GA. 30339, [protected], for a quote. They asked for our bdays to verify that we we ere who we said we were, according to the 10+ times only to be put on holdrep on the fon, only to find out the day of the Quote appt, they had pulled hard credit inquiries on both our credit accounts when we hadn't even gotten the quote yet, let alone, decided to buy or not. I have called them only to be put on hold and hung up on. They are refusing to take these inquiries, that stay on our reports for 2 yes, off. I called experien because that is where it's showing and they said I had to get them to take it off. Obviously that isn't happening and I need to know what we can do about it besides file this complaint. I attached a copy of the inquiry as a pic of their logo.
Desired outcome: Credit Inquiries removed from both mine and my husband's credit reports.
Above ground pool sales in house financing
I went through the training for this company and declined to ever sell any product for them when I learned what the company was really about. A sales person will come to your house initially to discuss where you want to put the $399 ad pool. When this is completed, he will then go back inside and proceed to attempt to sell you a pool that depending on the...

I had a pushy salesman come and talk about a pool. After listening for 2 hours while my kids were here, I decided to go ahead and purchase. On September 23, 2021 they finally came and installed the pool. By Oct 1st the pool was finally filled and ready. The pool was used 1 time then closed up and winterized for the winter. We had left for out of town to spend with family during the winter. When we came back and the snow and ice all melted I had went out took the cover off the pool and noticed there absolutely no water. After looking around the pool and inside the pool I noticed 2 huge holes at the seam in the liner and the side of the pool was caving in. I contacted Blur world pools, finally after a month someone finally contacted me back. I explained everything sent pictures and was very upset. They kept sending me to different departments but never to a main person who ran the company. Was finally told after sending pictures again that it was a defective liner and they don’t deal with that. So I asked about the caving in if the side of the pool, and we’ll no answers on that. Called the liner company they told me to call and of course they want to work around it so the warranty doesn’t stand. Then I’m told oh well you had a 3 month protection policy, well I explained how would I know anything when that was the winter months. The representatives have been very rude and no caring. I have missed one payment do to finance hardship as I’m a single mom plus trying to figure out to pay to fix a pool that my kids haven’t even been able to use and they want to call and threaten me about a lien on my home but won’t listen to any type of reasoning or explanation and still refuse to help with any of this matter. What can I do?
Desired outcome: My pool to be fixed or out of the contract or lower the payment so I can afford to fix the pool. This is wrong that are allowed to get away with treating people this way.
